We went to the kebab shop with the whole family, and it was simply fantastic! The portions were huge, the meat was incredibly juicy and delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming; we immediately felt welcome. Sitting outside was especially nice; it was very cozy and relaxed. We'll definitely be back!

The doner, in my case the Dürum doner, was very tasty. The homemade sauces taste completely different from those in most shops, and the difference is dramatic, which takes the doner to a whole new level of flavor. You can sit outside and relax and enjoy your doner with a cold ayran.

Be careful with the food. Too much fat and too much salt is added. The hygienic conditions also leave something to be desired. I developed severe colloidal tree pain that had to be treated by a doctor.

I've been eating here regularly since 2010 and have never had any problems. Quite the opposite! The people are friendly and also polite. Bread, meat and salad are always top. The absolute highlight are the sauces. You can just tell that cheap tzatziki doesn't come from the plastic bucket into the kebab here. I'm rarely in Berlin these days, but when I'm in the area I can't help but stop by. P.S.: As for the price... anyone who seriously complains about it being too expensive hasn't heard the shot! Even in the Brandenburg province there is no decent kebab for less than €7... if it is even edible.

As a Berliner yourself, you usually avoid the fancy tourist shops, the 24-hour shops or the "anywhere there seems to be room" stalls. In order to keep regular customers in your place, you need a little more. And that's exactly what's happening here. First of all, we are talking about consistently good quality of all components of the kebab - but not just the kebab. Everything is fresh and attractively presented. You can tell that the company places value on this - no matter what food they sell (be it Dürüm, Lahmacun, Baklava or plain fries with hamburger etc. etc.) With decades of experience and a mixture of genuine handcraft and purchasing, Kalyon produces dishes that are different from what you can get anywhere else "carelessly slapped together on every Berlin corner where there was still room". In addition, it is also what gives a company its special charm when it is a traditionally long-term family business. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The people behind the counter are friendly and always willing to process “special requests” or to remember them without being asked for returning guests. The owners work in the business themselves, and that is what sets the family business apart. The only thing that is a bit poor is parking spaces - typical for Berlin and beyond the responsibility of the entrepreneur. That deducted one point in the ambience. If you want to quickly pick up the food here, you have to do something tricky. The Berliner knows what I'm talking about, and the others can let Berliners show them. There are options ;) So if you're looking for a regular kebab in Berlin, you've come to the right place. All I can say is: thank you very much for the work you have done over the years and decades, Kalyon.

I often travel from Hanover to Berlin, and when I'm in Berlin I always go to Kalyon. The food tastes great and the price-performance ratio is excellent! I can especially recommend the baklava. I look forward to it every time I go to Berlin! ⭐️ An absolute recommendation!!!

Nice establishment with very nice staff. We took two Donners and were satisfied and full. Payment is for cash only. We had a nice meal on the summer terrace and received a lollipop as a gift. Thank you for such warm hospitality.

The employees are committed, kebab is available, vegetables are fresh, the cheese even comes in slices, real sheep's cheese. The Dürüm is a very nice device, my son, who usually eats two Whoppers, couldn't quite manage it. I'd love to come back. Just an update, I know the family now, father, mother and son - they do a good job with their kebab, I also have confidence in the freshness here.
