A restaurant that is a bit out of time. A very nice innkeeper, Dio, who is very warm and hospitable. Nice service staff and a bowling alley that exudes a nostalgic charm. Gladly again.

Excellent typical local brewery. Characteristic place where it seems that time has stopped, with the custom of marking the beers on the coaster and even the final bill is written there. Very nice. If you are hungry I recommend the pork shank or goulash; they were absolutely the best of all the places I ate. The girl who runs the place is incredibly kind. She does everything herself, so be patient and wait for the preparation to be done on the spot. The waiting times are long if you want to eat, but it's absolutely worth it. I will happily return there on my next trip.

We spent an unforgettable 2 evenings in Ratinger Brauhaus. Thank you especially tp George Clooney for the hospitality, great food and amazing beer. UTV, Aston Villa!

The service at the bowling alley was very poor and unfriendly. The prices for the food were beyond good and bad. The room wasn't heated and so it was just way too cold. I cannot recommend this bowling alley to anyone...

Finally a classic shop that is reminiscent of old times. Friendly staff. Food and drink great. We'll be back.

I finally managed to visit the forester's room. After a somewhat difficult search for a parking space, I enter and hope to get a spot in Guido Westerwelle's favorite restaurant without a reservation (5 p.m.). We like the decor and order the classic Himmel un' Ähd as well as a sauerbraten dish. The friendly service staff serves well-tapped, temperate Gaffel Kölsch and the test meal can begin. The Rhenish cult classic was a bitter disappointment. The 3 slices of fried black pudding were extremely salty and also strange in terms of consistency. There is no Flönzcup to be won with this. The puree was passable and the tablespoon of chunky applesauce was puny. As if that wasn't enough, the sauerbraten, which had plenty of raisins, was also a bit tough and the French fries (Aachen version) that were ordered with it looked crispier than they actually were.

Simple snack bar with a workshop atmosphere and a very direct tone. My rice noodles were almost vegetable-free (the announced carrots in homeopathic doses, the leek was completely missing...), but with an abundance of chicken. Taste is oily, the chicken has already been pre-fried and therefore hard. I had to fulfill my request for spiciness at the table myself, the sambal was actually quite ok - I would have preferred fresh chilies. The price is ok, but a non-alcoholic beer should already be in the range these days. Payment process a bit difficult due to language and IQ barrier. I won't come again.
