It's more reminiscent of a train station bar, The furnishings are pretty bland, Unfortunately, our pre-ordered food was completely cold even though I got home after 5 minutes. The prices on the menu don't match at all and the calculations when paying can still be improved.

Very nice atmosphere when the weather is good. You can sit in deck chairs or on benches. Play opportunities for small children. Storage areas for bicycles. Nice rest area after a tour on the route. Food is snack quality. Self-service. Friendly staff.

Beach bar run by Karsten Plass, the owner of the Pirates on Südstraße. A real recommendation when the weather is nice as it is located directly on the canal. Nice staff, good selection of drinks, reasonable prices. I can't say anything about the food this year as we were only there to drink cocktails. But in the opening year we took part in the breakfast buffet that was offered, which was great, and we also went there for a barbecue, delicious steak rolls. The beer and cocktail selection is very good. Music-wise it's not as rocky as Pirates, there was feel-good summer music playing when we were there, which matched the weather and the beach.

We made funeral coffee in Olly's Wirtshaus and were completely thrilled. There were enough rolls and cakes, so there was still a lot left over. The rolls were very generously topped, even with “vegetable decoration”. The tables were set very lovingly and the service was super friendly and attentive. We were also pleasantly surprised at the price. Good quality can still be cheap. The space was completely sufficient for around 35 people. The outdoor area with an xxl chess set and covered smoking area looks very inviting. The huge biker sculpture is definitely worth a visit. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend it without hesitation! Thank you for the excellent hospitality

My grandfather was a regular customer at this pub. I drank Coke there with Grandpa as a child. It can't all die. 🙏

Perfect location for an unforgettable celebration! I celebrated my 50th birthday with 52 guests at the Heidekönig in Troisdorf and I was absolutely thrilled! From the first contact to the implementation, everything was well organized. The party arrangement was excellent: various delicacies were brought directly to the table as starters, the main course consisted of freshly prepared tarte flambée in many variations, which could be ordered indefinitely. The selection of desserts also left nothing to be desired. The drinks concept was particularly pleasant - the wine was available directly at the table, while soft drinks and beer were available for self-service in a shed outside. This relaxed the atmosphere and got the guests moving. The team on site was simply great! The ladies were super attentive, looked after us excellently and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You felt completely welcome. My guests were also thrilled – both by the beautiful location and by the hospitality. A small point that could perhaps be optimized would be the handling of short-term cancellations. But that's a small thing and more of a general event risk. All in all, it was a great celebration and I would celebrate at Heidekönig again at any time. Clear recommendation!

Was there for the first time yesterday and it certainly wasn't the last time. Very nice cozy pub, surprisingly big. Service was absolutely on point, great selection of 20 draft beers and many more cans/bottles from the fridge, and the food was also very good. I had currywurst with fries, which was absolutely fine. The price/performance ratio is also absolutely fair. I'd love to come back soon.

Great location even if the ferry exudes a rush feeling... delicious food... clear recommendation outside of rush hour traffic...
