HE HAS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL - THE TRACE GARDEN AT THE OTTENBRUCH TRAIN STATION on the NORDBAHNTRASSE in WUPPERTAL. What keeps drawing us there? Like just yesterday evening, the 20 km there from Ennepetal and back again after dinner. Our top priority is the WARMTH of all SERVERS, not only from the owner Berislav himself, but you can feel HIS TEAM is behind HIM and HE is behind his TEAM. Accordingly, there is a small, exquisite, very tasty, selected range of food and drinks that taste good and bring joy. And this ROUND PACKAGE often entices us to go to the TRASSENGARTEN again and again. Everything is REAL there. THE KINDNESS THE KINDNESS THE OPERATION THE SELECTED DISHES and even the CANDLELIGHT that was placed on our table yesterday at nightfall. AND at the end we treated ourselves to some ICE CREAM, WE still had 20 km to go back, and then it was already dark in front of us. The calories we previously consumed were cycled away again. :-) SEE YOU AGAIN SOON INTIRA, TAYLOR; EMIR and JOST and of course there are many other constellations, with whom I visit the TRASSENGARTEN.

The Green Salon is an unexpected oasis of peace and delicious food in the hustle and bustle of the North Market. The card changes monthly. This time I had the chicken fricassee, served in a large bowl. It was like nuts, simply good, with a colorful rice mixture, the whole thing 19,-€. My companion had the burrito bowl, with chilli sin carne, lots of colorful vegetables and fantastic homemade potato slices, for €16.50.

Great food at a fair price. The service is always very nice and courteous. So if you want something on your plate at a good price, you're in good hands here

Beach bar run by Karsten Plass, the owner of the Pirates on Südstraße. A real recommendation when the weather is nice as it is located directly on the canal. Nice staff, good selection of drinks, reasonable prices. I can't say anything about the food this year as we were only there to drink cocktails. But in the opening year we took part in the breakfast buffet that was offered, which was great, and we also went there for a barbecue, delicious steak rolls. The beer and cocktail selection is very good. Music-wise it's not as rocky as Pirates, there was feel-good summer music playing when we were there, which matched the weather and the beach.

We made funeral coffee in Olly's Wirtshaus and were completely thrilled. There were enough rolls and cakes, so there was still a lot left over. The rolls were very generously topped, even with “vegetable decoration”. The tables were set very lovingly and the service was super friendly and attentive. We were also pleasantly surprised at the price. Good quality can still be cheap. The space was completely sufficient for around 35 people. The outdoor area with an xxl chess set and covered smoking area looks very inviting. The huge biker sculpture is definitely worth a visit. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend it without hesitation! Thank you for the excellent hospitality

The café is located in the middle of Westpark and, especially when it is warmer, you can sit on the terrace. The selection of beer is indescribably large. There are also cakes and other smaller dishes. So far everything I have ordered has been to my complete satisfaction and absolutely delicious. The team is super attentive and friendly. The fair prices are definitely worth mentioning here.

We discovered this beer garden last year and had a very good meal there. The location is very nice near the canal. Everything is brand new, and they're busy expanding and renovating. It's a great place for a bike stop. Today was our second time there, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food this time. The menu was completely different from last year, and unfortunately, we couldn't find the current menu online in advance. The schnitzel was very dry, and the fries weren't salted. My wife's bowl was completely drowned in sauce and was missing ingredients. Disappointing. We probably won't be eating there again. They do deserve praise for using organic, locally sourced meat. The organizational aspects were also a bit confusing…on the one hand, your order is taken at the table, but on the other, you pay somewhere else afterwards. You also "have to" clear away the table yourself. Today the waiters were very quick and friendly at first, but later there was no one to be seen and everyone seemed to be working inside, so you couldn't order anything else at the table.
