They opened especially for us and warmly welcomed us, providing us with delicious food and drinks. It's always wonderful to be with you. Unfortunately, I can only give you 5 points...you deserve 10! Very nice restaurant, right on the main road. The staff and cleanliness are always a reason to stop by for a currywurst :) Perfect for a quick break, no matter who you're with. There's something for everyone, whether you're vegan, on a diet, or just craving currywurst... there's something for everyone.

The ambiance and service are great. The seating is very comfortable, and it's cozy in the evenings. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star; I've been here a few times, but the sausage isn't hot. But the curry sauce is amazing.

What can I say? You could already call me a regular. I drink my latte here almost every day, and it's always hot, just as it should be. I love the poppy seed and mandarin orange cheesecake, and of course, I can also recommend the hearty cuisine. A trip here on my bike is always worthwhile.

As Franken Biergarten testers, we are absolutely thrilled with this terraced garden. However, we find it abhorrent how the heritage authority is allowing the station to deteriorate.

It's simply beautiful here. Well located on the route. Very friendly service. Nice little menu. I've already tried a few things and found everything delicious.

For us, this is the best "rest stop" along the Nordbahntrasse. Delicious food for vegans, organic food enthusiasts, and even regulars. Everyone will find something to suit their taste here. Drinks are also locally sourced. A great place to sit and relax at tables and lounge chairs in a totally relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The concept is definitely worth emulating.

A beautiful beer garden with heart! A really nice beer garden with super friendly service – you immediately feel welcome! The guys are truly passionate about their work, and you can see it in every detail. The highlight was the lovingly prepared sausage with parsley – a small gesture, a big impact! Me and my family were there for the first time today and everything was terrible, the food was cold and when we talked to the boss he was really arrogant and didn't care about our condition and the general service was really unbearable. I don't recommend anyone to go here

HE HAS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL - THE TRACE GARDEN AT THE OTTENBRUCH TRAIN STATION on the NORDBAHNTRASSE in WUPPERTAL. What keeps drawing us there? Like just yesterday evening, the 20 km there from Ennepetal and back again after dinner. Our top priority is the WARMTH of all SERVERS, not only from the owner Berislav himself, but you can feel HIS TEAM is behind HIM and HE is behind his TEAM. Accordingly, there is a small, exquisite, very tasty, selected range of food and drinks that taste good and bring joy. And this ROUND PACKAGE often entices us to go to the TRASSENGARTEN again and again. Everything is REAL there. THE KINDNESS THE KINDNESS THE OPERATION THE SELECTED DISHES and even the CANDLELIGHT that was placed on our table yesterday at nightfall. AND at the end we treated ourselves to some ICE CREAM, WE still had 20 km to go back, and then it was already dark in front of us. The calories we previously consumed were cycled away again. :-) SEE YOU AGAIN SOON INTIRA, TAYLOR; EMIR and JOST and of course there are many other constellations, with whom I visit the TRASSENGARTEN.

Very nicely landscaped terrace. The food was very tasty, served on plates and with real cutlery, great 😊 There is an opportunity to charge the battery right in front of the restaurant. Will definitely come back next time 👍🏻

Very bad service, you wait 20 minutes for your food and when you ask where it is you are insulted and told that if it doesn't suit you you should go somewhere else... so I expect service for my money. That's how it turned out done and can absolutely not recommend it

The Trassengarten is always worth a visit. Very beautiful and nicely designed. There are also shaded areas. Even though self-service is the order of the day, there are no compromises on my part. The service staff at the ordering and serving counter are always very nice and friendly. -

I often drive the route along the route to Solingen and back and when I pass the route garden I have to eat currywurst with fries, which for me is one of the tastiest far and wide. Please keep it up for a long time.

Pretty beer garden, right on the Nordbahntrasse. A bit busy on Sundays and public holidays, so a seat isn't always guaranteed. You can park your bikes directly at the beer garden so you can keep an eye on them. The dishes are of impeccable quality and tasty, and you can also use the sanitary facilities without hesitation. We like to stop there for a tour break.

When the weather is good, you can eat simple but delicious food (curry fries, cakes, etc.) and drinks along the route. Owner is also super nice.

Very unfriendly operation or service. Since I was traveling with 2 kids and both wanted the LAST piece of cheesecake, I politely asked the gentleman if he could cut the piece of cake in half for my kids. (Let's be honest. Cutting a cheesecake isn't just an act) He responded very rudely: “You can do that yourself with the fork!” He has the knife right next to him. There was no knife for us and he hadn't given us the cake yet anyway so why is it a problem? Especially since it wasn't even full there. My kids noticed this and I ask myself, how are children supposed to learn to get over the fear of asking people things when you get such cheesy answers AND in a very cheesy tone? Thank you, never again. I advise against everyone.

Located directly at the old Ottenbruch train station, this beer garden, which was created out of improvisation, is simply cozy and offers classics such as currywurst (great sauce) as well as vegan-vegetarian dishes. The cous-cous salad is such a highlight. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Always happy.

You can eat and drink well here, especially as a short break during the bike tour on the Nordbahntrasse. There are non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. There are fries and sausages etc. to eat. But also delicious cake. Price performance is okay here. There are also many seating options outside where you can sit in the sun or under a parasol. The staff is very friendly and toilets are also available here.

Hello everyone, Got some wheat today with Kollegs, plus fries with double mayo. Drink prepared appropriately and the fries crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. Friendly and attentive staff.

Essen mega lecker! Sehr gute Getränkeauswahl mit unteranderem Biozisch, Füchsen Alt, Grevensteiner Radler. Außerdem gibt es so gut wie nie Warteschlangen. Essenszubereitung ist sehr schnell. Immer wieder gerne!

Wir waren am 20.08.2023 zu Gast im Trassengarten. An diesem Tag waren wir mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und suchten eine Erfrischung und Stärkung an der Nordbahntrasse. Ich hatte in Google Maps kurz nach den Öffnungszeiten gesehen, festgestellt das bis 22h geöffnet ist und Spoiler: übersehen, weil nicht aufgeklappt, dass die Küche nur bis 20h geöffnet hat. Unter dieser Voraussetzung und mit freudiger Erwartung sind wir dort eingekehrt. Wir haben schnell etwas gefunden, es war mittlerweile 20:05h, Speise- und Getränkekarten lagen auf den Tischen in denen keine Zeitangabe zur Öffnungszeit der Küche stand. Also schritt ich zur Bestellung und erlebte, als ich dran war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Zum einen musste ich feststellen, dass es kein Bier vom Fass gab und Radler nur mit Zitrone aus der Flasche. Ok, es ist alles noch provisorisch und der Gesamtsituation vor Ort geschuldet, also machte ich innerlich einen Haken dran konnte mir aber eine Bemerkung dazu, dass ich das schade für einen Biergarten finde nicht verkneifen. Dies schien die offensichtlich schon genervte Mitarbeiterin, die es noch nicht einmal für nötig hielt mich während unseres Gespräches anzusehen, zu veranlassen ab diesem Zeitpunkt ihren Tonfall mir gegenüber von genervt auf schnippig umzustellen. So nahm das Schicksal der weiteren Bestellung seinen Lauf. Ich versuchte also etwas zu Essen zu bestellen und wurde in bereits gewohnt unfreundlichen Ton darauf hingewiesen, dass die Küche nur bis 20h geöffnet sei. Auf meine betont freundliche Nachfrage, wo ich das denn hätte sehen können wurde ich sichtlich genervt auf ein Schild an der Theke verwiesen. Dieser Hinweis war natürlich brilliant, da ich dieses Schild völlig problemlos von unterwegs hätte lesen können, worauf ich auch hinwies. Daraufhin meinte die ausgewählt unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin mir ihren Tonfall zu zuschreiben und legte mir harsch mein Rückgeld von der Getränkebestellung auf den Tresen. Danach war der Bestellvorgang im gegenseitigen Einvernehmen abgeschlossen und unser Besuch auch. Das war mein erster Besuch im Trassengarten und wenn ich Berislav nicht von früher kennen würde mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit auch mein Letzter! Ich habe Verständnis dafür, wenn man einen schlechten Tag hat, aber man sollte doch bitte professionell bleiben. Man hätte auf vielfältige Weise die Situation lösen können, z. B. mit einem freundlichen Hinweis auf die Öffnungszeiten in Google Maps, denn die kannte ich ja nicht vollständig, was zugegeben mein Fehler war. Man hätte auch einfach freundlich sein und um Verständnis für die abweichenden Küchenzeiten bitten können. Mir wären tausend Möglichkeiten eingefallen, aber bestimmt nicht den Gast anzugehen. Merke: Wie man in den Wald ruft, so schallt es heraus. Und wenn ich meinen Gast mit einem langen Gesicht ohne Blickkontakt und zickig empfange, dann sollte ich nicht davon ausgehen, dass er anders als manselbst reagiert. Auch wenn man sich nicht sympathisch findet kann man freundlich bleiben und ich für meinen Teil kann das in Anspruch nehmen und habe mich zum Schluß noch bei der Mitarbeiterin für das freundliche und konstruktive Feedback bedankt.

Top Empfehlung direkt an der Trasse! Super leckere Gerichte und ne erstklassige Currywurst. Dazu noch kommt, dass das Fleischsortiment von der Metzgerei Sonnenschein und der Fleischerei Janutta kommt!

Gemütliche Lokalität in Wuppertal. Man kann im Biergarten oder auch davor im Liegestuhl verweilen. Empfehlenswert sind Currywurst und Kibbelinge. Alles sehr sauber, nette Mitarbeiter!
