BierCafé West in Dortmund

This could be a really great shop, we were regular customers here, unfortunately we were always disappointed with the service. Even though there wasn't much going on, we sometimes waited over 40 minutes for a coffee and twice our food was completely forgotten. When we asked, the kitchen was already closed and we came away empty-handed. However, when it arrived it was very tasty. The overwhelmed service and the sometimes very unfriendly answers to returns of bad drinks are the reason why we will no longer visit this restaurant.

We like going there. Dad food is good. And as the name suggests, a large, always changing beer selection. In summer there is a lovely beer garden with a view of Westpark.

Food was very tasty. We had menemen once and shrimp once, which came with a bread basket. Unfortunately there were only two pieces of bread, which wasn't enough. I asked if we could have more bread, but I had to pay something. It was a shame.

I visited the Bier Cafe West in Dortmund's Westpark and was completely impressed! The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a social evening with friends. The selection of beers is impressive - from regional specialties to international varieties, there is something for every taste. I tried some craft beers and loved the quality. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the recommendations were excellent. The snacks I ordered went perfectly with the drinks and were freshly prepared. Overall, Bier Cafe West is a great place to spend time and discover new beers. I'll definitely be back!

Very nice location in Westpark. Friendly service. The kofta were very tasty. Try the IPA beer number 19. Very tasty.

A nicely located restaurant. Unfortunately, you often have to wait longer for your order/service. I don't understand why people don't rely on local beers in the former beer capital but on craft beer. Also a bit expensive. I think you can also sit on one of the many benches in the park with a beer from the kiosk. Nevertheless, you can still relax here in the green and enjoy your evening after work.

Beer garden with restaurant. There are a few craft beers, but the prices are very high. The smoke and smell from the grill do not allow you to sit quietly outside. Nice, quiet and green area.

Currywurst with homemade sauce and the delicious fries are a hit! When the weather is nice, it's very pleasant to sit outside with a wonderful view of the West Park. You're amazed at what beautiful things open up when you come off the street. Service is also warm and pleasant, tables are cleaned after each guest. Very good bike rack and e-bike charging station. Children's meal was also very well received.

Very nice staff, even though the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. we still got something to eat. I would even give it 10 stars

We had a super relaxing evening here. There are many different types of beer, including regional ones, on tap here. But best of all is the service. All waiters are absolutely attentive and helpful. Especially Marwin.

We were there with 3 friends, everyone ordered something different for food, service was good and friendly, drinks came quickly. Unfortunately the food was bad and not worth the price. When we complained about the food we got the answer: more guests had already complained and the chef was probably not in a good mood today. For us it was the first and last visit.

Came there on a rainy day after a walk. The café looks very inviting from the inside and the staff comes to you quickly. The cocoa was nothing special but definitely tasty. The waffles there, on the other hand, were incredibly fluffy and were really good👍 I can't say anything about the hearty food, but I think a "cafe" isn't mainly about the food. Prices are okay too. All in all a nice café in the Kreuzviertel.

Excellent selection of beers with a nice outdoor terrace next to a park. Friendly service. You can get flights of 3 or 5 for reasonable prices.

Found a place here during Westpark Fest. The coffee was good, the cheesecake was also very good and everything was reasonably priced. A good place if you want to watch the goings-on in Westpark at leisure.

There were four of us there and we really enjoyed it there. We really enjoyed the food and the staff couldn't have been better. The sanitary facilities were also great. Everything really clean. We'd love to come back!

In the summer, my favorite place to unwind after work You sit under the trees on a quiet terrace. The international dishes are delicious and the waiters are friendly. A bit of friendly chaos, but only at events such as: B. At yesterday's always great salsa party.

Delicious currywurst, delicious beer

The two of us were there yesterday. We were able to order currywurst and fries once. Everything else would be over. So “Twice is better” ordered currywurst and fries for 1 person. After about an hour of waiting, I asked where this food was. Among other things, they said I could have ordered something else, it would only take another 45 minutes. No thanks!!!!!! Finally this one meal came, but without cutlery. Asked for the 3rd time. It would still take time. Food was cold. Asked again. A piece of cake came as an apology.

Certainly more of a café than a craft beer bar during the day. But the balancing act works well. But now I can only talk about the beer.

You feel welcome here. The service is always friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable and during the day you will find a lot of families who are welcome here and have enough space.

We arrived just as the register had closed unfortunately, after having finally found a place in Dortmund with a selection of craft beers. A LARGE selection at that! Staff was noticeably disappointed they couldn’t accommodate us and was very friendly. Even gave us two free local beers to take with us for free. Amazing! We will be back on the very first day when we come back to Dortmund!

Excellent currywurst for a good price. Very happy about the food and atmosphere. A lot of people have been saying the service here is slow, but we got our food within 10 minutes! I got the pleasure of also trying their vegan currywurst, and as someone who usually doesn't enjoy vegetarian/vegan food, I found it delicious! Great place, highly recommend.

We stopped there after visiting the Brewery Museum. What a successful shop. Great ambience, delicious currywurst, fantastic staff and the beer selection is very good. A place worth visiting as a sommelier.

Super nice surprise. 20 beers on tap and a bunch of cans/bottles at very fair prices. If you like (craft) beer: great Also little things to eat I had kofta and I have to say: I've rarely had it so good. There's someone in the kitchen who can do it very, very well. Finally the bill: very cheap. I had 7 (!) different beers and kofta for around €30. Oh well: 0.1l, the rating is not that alcohol-impaired Absolutely go!

Um nach einem Spaziergang im Westpark einzukehren eine nette Adresse. Wir hatten den Lachs und haben anstatt von Nudeln auf Wunsch Reis bekommen. Die Dillsoße war wirklich sehr lecker.

Freundlichkeit steht hier an erster Stelle, das Essen war lecker und Sauberkeit ist hier kein Fremdwort.

Tolles Café mit leckerem Essen. Wir wollten die letzten Sonnenstrahlen im Westpark genießen und haben dann Päuschen im BierCafé gemacht. Eigentlich sollte es nur ein Käffchen werden, aber man konnte draußen herrlich sitzen/lümmeln/rumhängen - wie jemand eben mag. Da es länger wurde, warf ich einen Blick in die Speisekarte. Nicht viele Gerichte, aber dafür tolle kleine Gerichte. Was mir besonders positiv aufgefallen ist, auch vegane Gerichte waren dabei. Also, vegane Currywurst mit Pommes bestellt. Total lecker, selbst gemachte Currysoße herrlich, Pommes außen knusper innen fluffig - einfach prima ! Preise stimmen. Das Personal ist super nett und flott. Wir freuen uns schon auf die nächsten warmen Tage, dann ab zum BierCafé !

Etwas unorganisiert . Mussten lange auf die Rechnung warten. Ansonsten Ambiente ok.

Das Lokal ist mit dem Nahverkehr sehr gut erreichbar und die Innenstadt ist auch zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Zudem gibt es kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Die Ausstattung ist modern und gemütlich gestaltet. Es ist sehr sauber dort und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Selbst wenn ein Gast einmal unzufrieden ist, gehen die Mitarbeiter vorbildlich damit um. Der Chef kann wirklich stolz auf solche Mitarbeiter sein. Egal, ob man alleine oder in Gesellschaft ist - man fühlt sich dort immer gut aufgehoben. Die Preise für die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke sind sehr günstig. Bei schönem Wetter kann man im Westpark wunderbar spazieren gehen. Konferenzraum vorhanden. Fünf Sterne für dieses Lokal wären definitiv zu wenig. Persönlich würde ich unendlich viele Sterne vergeben!

Tolles Café in dem man einige Brauspezialitäten probieren kann. Auch die ein oder andere Kostprobe direkt vom Hahn, für die man sonst einige Kilometer mehr in Kauf nehmen muss. Von der Seite her gibt es die volle Punktzahl. Leider hatten wir auf einem Sonntag echt Probleme mit dem Service. Angefangen von der Dauer bis zur Bestellung, hin zu Durcheinander welches Glas jetzt welches Bier beinhaltet. In Summe aber kein Reinfall, da Freundlichkeit gegeben aber in der Organisation des Service ist auf jeden Fall noch Luft nach oben. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns auf die Verbesserungen...

The food was really Tasty. After we ordered it maybe took 8-10minues for everyones food to arrive (we were 10 people). I had the Currywurst with Fries and tgey were delicious. The athmospehere was nice, the restaurant is situated right next to a park so its naturally quiet.

Nice spot just next to a great park ! We ordered their vegan Currywurst and it was totally worth it ! Only downside, we had to wait for more than 50 minutes to get our drinks and even more for our food. Apparently, it was due to a default from their counter device. Still, it's a café worth going 😊

Ein Fest für jeden Craftbierfan. Mehr als 20 Biere vom Fass und der Kühlschrank ist mit weiteren Bieren gefüllt. Außerdem haben die ihr eigenes „Untappd“ Badge. Der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam. Außerdem war das Essen lecker und preiswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Bedienung war sehr nett, aber das Essen kam entweder zu früh, wir hatten unsere Vorspeise noch gar nicht auf, oder es kam gar nicht, auch nach Nachfragen hat es noch ewig gedauert. In der Küche gibt es noch deutlich Verbesserung!

Eine sehr große Auswahl an verschiedenen Biersorten.Eine gute Auswahl an Speisen von Currywurst mit Pommes ,Salaten, Schnitzel,Wraps und Nachtisch zu moderaten Preisen.Die Bedingungen waren äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam.Man kann toll draußen sitzen in dem schönen kleinen Biergarten.Für Kinder gibt es dort einen kleinen eingzäunten Spielplatz. Es ist wirklich nett dort.
