German food and atmosphere. It's also a good meeting place for larger groups. When we were there, there was a carnival going on in one of the back rooms. The staff checked regularly to see if we needed anything without being intrusive. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were also very good.

What can we possibly say about the old brewery...? It's one of our favorite breweries in Cologne, and we visit it every time we're back in the cathedral city. We even celebrated our wedding here, and all our guests, as well as us as the bride and groom, were more than happy to have chosen this place for our special occasion. We highly recommend this place! Whether you're looking for a delicious meal or just a cozy Kölsch at the bar, it's the perfect spot. The service is always top-notch and attentive, and you really don't miss a thing. Here you can still experience a bit of the authentic Cologne and aren't just surrounded by tourists. And the Köbes (waiter) with his quick wit and genuinely funny remarks is practically part of the furniture for us, and we always look forward to enjoying a Kölsch or two with him. We'll keep coming back and will remain loyal customers!

Beautiful brewery with a typical brewery menu: hearty and Kölsch beer. The food we had was delicious, hot, and fresh! The selection is a bit limited, but there's something for everyone! Adults can even choose children's portions! Fantastic! And the staff was friendly, helpful, and quick! All in all, highly recommended!

The first thing I noticed was that you read the menu posted at the entrance, but inside you're met with a significantly limited lunch menu. The friendly lady then offered a bit more variety. The pepper schnitzel was fresh, hot, and delicious. If I'm ever in this part of town again, I'd be happy to come back.

Good, home-style cooking that you can never go wrong with, so it's always a safe bet. Delicious Kölsch beer as always! We sat outside, and there was a bit too much traffic and noise.

Good brewery in the Severinsviertel

We went here for dinner following a recommendation from our hotel and certainly didn't regret it. I had a delicious Cordon Bleu, a generous portion, typical German fare, and served with plenty of fries. My partner had the Jager Schnitzel, which, while a bit disappointing in size, tasted just as delicious. It was odd that, while ordering, he was casually asked if he wanted salad, and we ended up with €2.50 on the bill for a few lettuce leaves and two cucumber slices without dressing.

I "ate" a completely soggy tarte flambée here; the Kölsch helped me get most of it down. I don't really recommend going here.

From USA, we ate here for the first time last night. The server spoke English & helped translate the menu, even showing us pictures of the items. We did not get her name, but she was young, Super friendly & helpful!!! Highly recommend eating here! My husband got the Metthappen & I got the currywurst. It was all amazing! We are Portuguese and spent 3 days in Cologne. The food was our favorite in Cologne, pork leg with roasted potatoes. The price was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was 5*. ♥️

There were 2 of us and we paid 29 euros per person each. P. Ordered veal schnitzel. After 8 minutes the food arrived, a schnitzel fried in the deep fryer, no crispy wavy and fresh breading, baked in the pan in good fat. Unbelievable for this price. You just expect good cuisine, this is a cheap rip-off. Never again! Although the potato salad was delicious. Cheap schnitzel this way, fat with it.

The Kölsch glass was never empty because it was always replaced without request. The typical Cologne brewery. Well attended around 5:30 p.m. You can go there more often.

Although the inn offers an appealing atmosphere, the quality of the food on offer unfortunately did not meet the expectations of a discerning guest. The investment was therefore not satisfactory.

Table reserved online for a Saturday afternoon. Were greeted friendly and shown to the table. The ambience is typical of a brewery, there is a lot of talking and laughing - not for people sensitive to noise. There were three of us and we each ordered a different meal. The first two meals were brought, the third came 5 minutes later. The Köbes was reminded that we couldn't start without cutlery, which was then followed up. The food was now lukewarm and the taste was simply not tasty. Conclusion: I'd be happy to drink Kölsch again, but definitely not to eat it again. It's a shame, you could have expected more given the prices.

Zum alten Brauhaus Reisdorf is one of our favorite places in Cologne. It always offers a pleasant experience with its traditional atmosphere and delicious food. We will be coming back again and again especially for their currywurst! It has a great atmosphere in the evenings, we definitely recommend it.

Aufpassen! Man bekommt keine echte Rechnung, obwohl ich eine solche verlangt habe. Man bekommt nur eine "Zwischenrechnung", die gemäß Paragraph 14(1) UStG keine Rechnung ist - steht sogar drauf, hab es aber leider erst Tage später bemerkt. Man kann die "Rechnung" also nicht in die Spesenabrechnung hinein nehmen! In diesem Lokal wird also anscheinend Steuerhinterziehung betrieben.

We were at the brewery yesterday. The service employee was nice and quick. Now for the food: Orders included grilled knuckle and beer coach cutlet. Unfortunately I have to say that the cutlet was the worst cutlet I have ever eaten. It was fried at some point and then warmed up again. The same thing with the grill knuckle. Prepared at some point and then warmed up again. To ask for so much money for this is really a disgrace. Shame on you!!!

A spot popular with the locals and I can see why! Yummy food, good beer and the service was great. The menus were in German but they had an English menu online, the server was very helpful and smiley ☺️ Would definitely recommend this spot if you want some delicious German food and local beer!

A quieter Cologne pub in the middle of the lively Severinsstrasse surprised us very pleasantly. Very nice Köbesse, delicious, plentiful food, great location, very clean and cozy, gladly again!!

So far my favorite brewery in Cologne because Reisdorf is my favorite Kölsch. The food is always tasty and of good quality and the service can be anything from young, friendly staff to grumpy Köbis.

A brewery when it's full is loud. Anyone who wants things to be different is not allowed into the Cologne brewery. There is good home-style food, with something for everyone in terms of price and variety. I've been there a few times now and have also heard it from others: check your bill very carefully, especially if there are several of you at the table and the bill is split. Personally, I found it very disappointing that last Saturday they wanted to charge us for 3 dishes, along with extra side dishes and some additional drinks. It's a brewery, so if you walk out of here tipsy you might not even notice. If I hadn't mentioned it, it wouldn't have happened to me personally three times and to friends too.

Nice brewery with atmosphere. We had a meatloaf that tasted good but was small with fried egg and fried potatoes. Also a real Viennese schnitzel with fries. Unfortunately, despite the calf Tendons present. Our friends had a glass with a clear rim of dirt. Attentive and friendly service. 3 Kölsch, a cola and a water then added up to almost €60. We have We felt very comfortable there, but unfortunately the price/performance didn't really fit together.

Als tip van ons hotel zijn we hier gaan eten en zeker geen spijt van gehad. Ik had zelf een heerlijke Cordon Bleu, zoals op zijn Duits een flinke portie en voorzien van veel patatjes. Mijn partner had de Jager Schnitzel, die qua formaat dan wel iets tegen viel maar daar niet minder lekker om smaakte. Wel raar dat terloops bij de bestelling opnemen er werd gevraagd of hij er salade bij wilde en we dit terugzagen voor 2,50 euro op de rekening voor paar blaadjes sla en 2 stukjes komkommer zonder dressing.

Whilst visiting Köln wanted to try local cuisine & beer which we did here! Great service & atmosphere so if you’re in the area & looking for the ideal local this is the place.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in a typical German eatery. Staff were friendly. The schnitzel was very tasty including the fresh salad. Tip: place a beer card on your empty glass or a new glass will automatically arrive 😀 Quite noisy, but still highly recommended!

This is highly recommended! We were lucky that there were still spots, but reservations during the weekend are really necessary. The service is friendly and very attentive. Just a little outside the center, but definitely worth the trip.

Typisches Kölschbrauhaus, wo offensichtlich auch Kölner hingehen. Die Kölsch kommen unaufgefordert nach, wenn das Glas leer ist. Das Essen ist deftig, aber lecker. Service freundlich, unaufdringlich, aber aufmerksam, und fix. Gerne wieder.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is super nice. For dinner I had a salad with cheese. The portion was very large and I was definitely full of it. Everything tasted great too!
