Went there with the company for the Christmas party. We were told from the start that we had to leave the table within 3 hours. The food was an absolute joke. Never had such bad fried potatoes before. Portion wasn't even child size

As always, super friendly and relaxed service. All of our dishes were delicious and filling.

Nice typical brewery atmosphere. Were welcomed very nicely. Köbe's Erwin looked after us well. Among other things, great crunchy knuckle and. Always my pleasure.

Cologne brewery culture at the end! Post-Corona capitalism reigns supreme in the brewery. For decades it has been customary to meet with dear friends in the brewery over delicious Kölsch and good home-cooked food in the run-up to Christmas, to exchange news and make plans for the next year. After all, many of them haven't seen each other for over a year. That's over now! What's new? Reserve a table, order what feels like twice as expensive a meal as it was two years ago, have it served quickly and be filled with Kölsch in the meantime. Finally, after an hour and a half, but at the latest two hours, the above-described should be repeated for the second or even third time. Without prior notice, Köbes suddenly comes, collects money and compliments the round. The table is only reserved for two hours. You know that right? (We didn't know) Of course, generous tips for “good service” are still expected. Thank you for this new experience! We were here for the last time!

Authentic Cologne pub with delicious Mühlenkölsch and many typical Cologne dishes. Delicious food and TOP service. Lots of locals, few tourists. If you want to experience traditional Cologne brewery culture, you've come to the right place.

You can't reserve for less than 4 people, however, you are welcome to turn up and wait. Despite only being a party of 2, we turned up at 8pm and were promptly turned away as they were fully booked for the night! Peters Brauhaus is far better.

Saw the reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Looked nondescript from the street, but wow! Great food, great service. On my next visit to Cologne, I'll visit here again.

Friendly welcome, beautiful place inside even if the outside is dark and does not attract attention (we found it thanks to the good reviews on Google Maps). The atmosphere is rustic and warm. The cuisine is very simple but typical of the region and the portions are very generous (with the exception of the mushroom sauce which contained too few mushrooms). The mustard is in sachets (we would have preferred a better quality of old-fashioned mustard served in a stoneware pot). Same thing for mayonnaise, served in industrial sachets. Prices are reasonable. The Kölsch variety served here has a very fruity and deliciously refreshing flavor. Good place to enjoy a simple and friendly moment.

There is a lot of waiting when you go without a reservation. They don't answer the phone very often for reservations. I didn't have much confidence in the queue either. But the service is fast and the food is delicious. Will go again.

Yesterday we and 27 people went to the Brauhaus Pütz for a convivial evening after a previous lunch with plenty of wine and beer, followed by a visit to the Christmas market and the consumption of mulled wine. After previous reservation We spent a very sociable evening there with very attentive service. Unfortunately, the evening ended with a completely exorbitant bill, as we supposedly drank 426 beers within five hours with 27 guests, 6 of whom didn't drink alcohol, according to the bill! Despite repeated discussions, they tried to explain to me that this beer turnover was completely normal. So with a proportion of 50% women and the occasion of my 60th birthday, according to the guests, we probably each drank more than 20 Kölsch, cheers 🍻! So with the corresponding “backstory” Each of my guests drank an average of 20 Kölsch. If that had been the case, I would probably be writing these lines with several of my guests in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. There is and was no attempt to reach an agreement, but rather the explanation that the number of Kölsch drinks was entirely understandable! This also made my decision. I will never go to the “Brauhaus Pütz” again. visit and can only urge caution! A complete abuse of trust that I have never experienced in all my previous years as a Cologne resident in Cologne!

Grossartiges kölsches Restaurant. Essen lecker, Kölsch klasse, aufmerksamer Service, sehr gute Stimmung (auch an den anderen Tischen). Trotz der Größe nicht zu laut. Ein sehr schönes Erlebnis.

The food was really good (maybe even the best traditional house in Cologne) and the portion size was good too. Even vegetarians and vegans will find something on the menu.

Good atmosphere, the Kölsch is constantly flowing and the food was also delicious. Have fun here! However, I think the selection and pricing of vegetarian dishes could be improved. Overall, everything was great!

The service is not great if you don't speak German. However, the food was INCREDIBLE, the sauerkraut is delicious, the portions are very well served. If you choose the culinary experience is a good choice, but if you want a more warm and close service with tourists, there are other places more interesting.

Very good atmosphere and a friendly Köbbes with good sayings.

Rock-solid brewery performance. Riotous noises come to the table and into your throat in dense rhythm. A group of six had three Jägerschnitzel, two bratwursts and something with dumplings. The latter rise better in the stomach than the Käsköpp loser herb. I do a better job with the hunter's sauce at home, but I think it's missing the final umami creaminess kick. Price/performance for schnitzel is completely ok. Conclusion: You can do it!

We went to Pütz for a few Kölsch today. Inconspicuous from the outside, first-class service with great staff awaits you inside. You feel comfortable here.

What I particularly like about this restaurant is that the beer comes all by itself without having to order. I assumed I would choose something from the menu, but the waiter simply put the Kölsch down and kept a tally on the beer coaster. I didn't know when it would be over until my colleague said that I had to cover the glass xD. Just a really lovely evening. By the way, the food is also delicious :-)

Always worth a visit! I've been going to the Pütz on an irregular basis for many years - I like the slightly different decor and style of the brewery. We had a reservation for inside, but were lucky that a table for 4 became available outside and we were allowed to have it. We had the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and the pasta with chanterelles. It was delicious and down-to-earth - the prices were on par with the breweries in the area. The service was good and we had a nice evening!

Hay unas cuantas mesas afuera, pero estábamos felices de sentarnos en el fresco interior, ya que era un día tan caluroso. En el minuto que nos sentamos nos trajeron 2 cervezas pequeñas, pero por suerte hablo alemán, así que pude pedir vino en su lugar. Cada vez que mi marido terminaba su cerveza, inmediatamente se traía otra. Gran servicio y precio razonable.

Cozy brewery and, above all, delicious Cologne. The food was also good and plentiful for the price. A fries & currywurst for €15.90 is already an impressive price. The bismark herring and the chanterelle salad 1st cream🤤

You can enjoy unlimited Kölsch beer in a comfortable atmosphere. (As you probably know, if you want to stop drinking, you have to put the coaster on the glass.) The waiters look scary, but they are friendly.

Very nice service, ambience is also great. Food was okay, at 27.5 for schnitzel with fries and salad, but far too expensive and the taste was not convincing. For that price you can get an original veal schnitzel in other shops in Cologne.

Total unverschämter Kellner. Uns wurde das Kniffeln verboten! In dem Brauhaus war es mega laut. Angeblich wäre "Spielen" dort verboten. Hilfe, armes Deutschland, sag ich nur.

Clocky and authentic brewery. the bratwurst is great. A small downer... the Kölsch tends to be under the calibration mark, but this "deficiency" will be remedied immediately upon notice...

The food was tasty and served quickly. The beer service was efficient; almost empty beer glasses were immediately replaced. Our table in the back was too low, causing it to rise when you normally put your feet on the floor. This was uncomfortable. The service was also excellent and the staff was friendly.

Very unprofessional and arrogant behaviour of staff! We were a party 14 and had an agreed and written reservation, but this was overseen. When we arrived we were told no tables are available, after showing their confirmation, their reaction was just "Bad luck, anyway no space left" and they even argued usually they don't do reservation for larger parties as we don't have to as all tables will be full anyway... To be avoided!

Beste Brauhaus Tradition, leckeres Mühlenkölsch, urige Gerichte, freundliche Köbisbedienung, immer ein derber Spruch auf den Lippen, nie beleidigend, leckeres Essen und Wohlfül- Atmosphäre. Dir Karte dürfte etwas umfangreicher sein.

This restaurant was next to my hotel and i thought that it would be a good idea to try something very local. The service was really good - they spoke English, found me a table in no time despite me being on my own on Saturday night. The service was good. The food was not the tastiest - it was ok and that’s why I did not give it 5 stars.

Verdorbenes Roastbeef serviert und anschließend auch noch auf die Rechnung gesetzt - eine Entschuldigung kam auch nicht wirklich. Das ist total ekelhaft und unakzebtabel. Hier sollte besser das Gesundheitsamt anstatt Gäste einkehren.

Nicht gut. Statt Kalbsleber wird einem auf dem Teller „Leber Berliner Art“ kommentarlos Schweineleber untergejubelt. Der welke Beilagensalat ist unter fetter weißer Soße begraben. Der Speck im Speckpfanbekuchen ist voller Knorpel. Und selbst die Bratwurst wird vom Kind der Freundin liegen gelassen: „Schmeckt nicht.“

Ein urkölsches Brauhaus, das noch nicht von Touristen überlaufen ist. Urige Atmosphäre und typische Köbese. Im Ausschank ist Mühlenkölsch. Die Küche ist traditionell, der Spießbraten ist zu empfehlen.

Excellent lieu, dans lequel nous avons mangé et bu une petite bière (qui arrivent sans commande ?). Nous sommes arrivés assez tard et malgré l'heure d'arrivée nous avons eu une table sans réservation. L'accueil était très chaleureux et sympathique, la personne nous ayant reçu parlant anglais, ce qui n'est pas forcément le cas de tout le personnel, ou du moins, pas de façon fluide. Mais cela ne pose pas de soucis, le menu étant également en anglais de base. Un peu d'attente dans la réception des plats, mais cela se comprend par notre heure d'arrivée, les plats étaient plutôt copieux et très bons, pour un prix plus que correct. Nous allons sûrement y retourner avant la fin de notre séjour.

Tolles typisch kölsches Brauhaus, leckeres Kölsch (Mühlen) und gute Küche. Gerne wieder. Manchmal etwas zu wenig Personal, dann dauert es etwas, aber Gesamteindruck bleibt top!

Ein urtypisches, sehr gutes, ehrliches Kölsch-Brauhaus, aber für Kölner (und Gäste), ohne dieses übertriebene Getue, das in den touristischeren Häusern zelebriert wird. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, tolles, gutbürgerliches Essen, Kölsch und gute Gespräche - das erwartet einen hier.

Starkes Brauhaus mit leckerem Mühlenkölsch und gutem Essen. Spießbraten war überragend. Köbes hat den Balance-Akt zwischen typisch kölscher Schnüss und Asozialität hervorragend gemeistert. Draußen sitzt man mitten auf der Straße, bisschen laut alles, aber irgendwie gehört das ja dazu. Alles in allem super Laden!
