The meat does not come freshly cut but from a metal box. It was dry, cool and therefore had hardly any taste. Unfortunately that doesn't work at all. You don't have to wait 45-60 minutes to get service...I read your answers to other reviews. This also works in other kebab shops. The bread is great and the side dishes are good as well as the service.
Highly recommended. Inventive, beautifully prepared cuisine. A good selection of wines. The ambiance conveys an impression of old Hanseatic elegance. The owner is a warm hostess in the truest sense of the word.
Fantastic location, super friendly service, and delicious food. Unfortunately, it's almost always booked out on holidays. We'll be back. Thank you for the lovely time.
I ordered something to pick up yesterday in the late afternoon, the meat was completely dry, the salad was bitter despite the dressing and the bread was just hard as a rock after a 2 minute drive home (2 slices). I was very disappointed as I usually order there very often
Unfortunately, we didn't even get to eat. We sat outside this afternoon and waited about 5 minutes. It can sometimes happen that you don't notice inside that guests have sat outside. I then went in and asked if there was also service outside or if Roman should order in here. Answer - I'll come to you soon. After that we have another 10
Waited minutes - unfortunately no one came.
CAUTION!
If you want to order a pommdöner via Lieferando, it says with a side dish of your choice, without salad.
Ordered, arrived with LOTS of red cabbage. After I called and asked, I was told it wasn't as stated. It was suggested to me that I should reorder at my own expense.
And really rude on the phone.
Pide and kebab were still tasty, but not recommended for ordering
If you go from the non-existent parking lot to the restaurant, you have to be careful not to visit the kitchen. Even in the heat, a fly screen door is an advantage and necessary. Once you're inside, we quickly notice why the place is so dark - you can pass the waiting time by dusting. Niko is at the table quickly but regular customers are still served food first. THE food is a matter of taste but burnt gyros are not my thing (the bean soup was ok but a bit bland and poorly seasoned), the service was friendly but quite blind to the dirty plate. A large party had already left for an hour and then the plates also left. Unfortunately, the first impression went wrong and I will no longer check whether anything has improved. Addendum to the review: A lot of money was spent on creating a nice restaurant (as of 04.25) but the food still hasn't arrived where the love for the look is.
2025.2 : 4* : Very good fish sandwiches, which unfortunately are getting smaller and smaller or does it just feel like that?
The sauces have also lost a little of their oomph.
However, still the best fish sandwich in the entire area.
