Very well eaten pears beans and bacon.

As we all know, taste is a matter of taste, so we can only report our experience here. My wife had cheese spaetzle, they were really tasty, the price is very high... I had the Labskaus, for €23.50. Except for the sugary-sweet herring, the Labskaus was delicious, but I find the price demanding. We were served courteously.

Great ambience, very friendly service but unfortunately the “Hamburger Pannfisch” is not recommended.

The ambience in Little Heinrich is still excellent, I love it, old but well-kept and it's always a little experience. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the dishes weren't really my cup of tea, in terms of taste. After the Labskaus was shown in an older Kitchen Impossible episode, I wanted to see for myself whether the design was really the pinnacle. In terms of taste, I found it to be quite flat. You can compensate for a lack of salt, but less so for a lack of acid. My wife had herring with fried potatoes, which was also quite low in salt. The crab soup used to have more flavor ten years ago. As is well known, taste can be debated. Maybe that's what people are used to in the Glückstadt area and that's exactly how they want it, but it certainly wasn't our case.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. So far it has always been delicious. Good home cooking, not too expensive and in a cute little half-timbered house on the Glüchstädter Markt.

Great food. We chose Sussländer sour ribs and lamb meatballs. Delicious. We would particularly like to comment positively on the service: friendly approach and enjoyment of the job. Great. The rooms in the historic building are attractive and comfortable. Overall, absolutely recommended.

The waitress should urgently ask Eugen Block how to deal with objections and criticism. A "I'm sorry" if the food was overcharged wouldn't have been bad either.

We weren't registered and only got the table for an hour. But we were served quickly and very friendly. The food, especially the fried potatoes, were very tasty.

We have been loyal fans of the kl for years. Heinrichs and also like to put the quality of the food behind the ambience and service. The restaurant is super nice, the service at the table is undoubtedly super nice, professional with absolutely no complaints. But the food really wasn't anything special. Actually just particularly expensive for the quality. The panfish had probably been under the heat lamp for too long, it was pretty dry, the herring was ok, but there's almost nothing you can mess up. So not bad, but somehow not professional, as I expect for the price. Maybe you just had a bad day?

Always a great “port to enter” for decades!

Perfect for eating matjes. Even on Whitsunday at 1 p.m. in the sunshine there was a free table outside. 300 m from the train station, if you don't need a bike ticket, you can stay seated until 5 minutes before departure. Fast and friendly.

We had 4x housewife-style herrings and the taste was lacking, 2 of the matjes weren't great, you couldn't cut them with a knife. There was no response to the complaint and it was taken care of, but it came to nothing. The prices are also far too high for this quality, but the service and ambience were acceptable. Sorry, we weren't thrilled.

What a beautiful restaurant in the old half-timbered style. Very cozy and welcoming. Seating below and above. Very well attended... packed lol. We got the last table. I had the menu with lamb meatballs, savoy cabbage and boiled potatoes... My two work colleagues had Labskaus with fried eggs and sour meat with fried potatoes.. Once again a super good restaurant 🎖️ German cuisine. Absolutely recommended and tastes great. The service is funny and it was really fun to chat. Thank you for everything.

We were greeted very warmly and the service was excellent; Since we were there in the afternoon we had no problems getting a seat. We haven't been there for a long time, but it's still a top address. We felt very comfortable.

We once had > four herring fillets, with > honey-dill-mustard sauce and fried potatoes and > bacon bits, green beans and jacket potatoes. Both super delicious!!! Priced so-so. Unfortunately there is no allergen menu, but there is very nice information, although the service staff recommended the “Dreierlei” matjes to me too often. I already knew what I wanted to eat!? 🙄 But what should be particularly emphasized is that the food there is prepared fresh every day, and therefore precise information about ingredients can be given. The fried potatoes were fried especially for me in oil and not in clarified butter (lactose). The honey dill mustard sauce made without milk. Great 👍 Compliments to the chef. This is a restaurant you should eat at least once if you are in the area. Because of the popularity, it's best to make a reservation and express your wishes over the phone. As I said, they make everything possible so that you can eat there. One more thing, when you enter the restaurant it is a bit cramped. There's some big chest or something that takes up a lot of space for our taste. 🤔

Quaint, long-established restaurant in Glückstadt with a rustic but loving ambience. The service is very good, the staff friendly and attentive. The food selection is regional, but there are also the usual classics specially interpreted. Everything was delicious and at a reasonable price for the place.

We had a delicious meal at 'Little Heinrich' shortly before New Year's Eve 2023. Everything works for us here: quiet, beautiful ambience, friendly and experienced staff and the excellent cuisine... mmmm, gladly again.

Extremely unfriendly service without any gastronomic training (service staff would be an insult to the job description) even before ordering, completely over-salted dishes (both the fish fillet, the "Wiener" schnitzel from the turkey (huh?) and also the saddle of venison (on instant sauce and almost raw). (Medium was requested) do not speak for a trained chef), an apology was refused with the comment that the waitress had tried the meat herself and it was not oversalted. (In which restaurant does the waitress try the food, where was the chef?) The side dishes we ordered were first forgotten and then the wrong ones arrived. Even the warmed-up frozen croquettes were prepared in an amateurish way, the boiled potatoes were already making waves (so they were also warmed up) Loveless side salad like at the rest stop. And as a gastronomic highlight, we were asked to leave the restaurant because of our small child. It's a shame, it used to be a good address.

Es war ein Vergnügen heute hier zu essen. Top Qualität, von regionalen Lieferanten, oder Hersteller (Glückstädter!! Matjes, der Rolls Royce unter den Matjes), Schweinerippchen Gerichte -> ganz hervorragende,norddeutsche Küche auf hohem Niveau! Das Service-Team schwer auf zack, professionell,freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit! Das bei ausgebuchtem Restaurant. Und das Ambiente ist der Hammer. Essen bei Windstärke 6 auf dem Clipper. Grandios. Hingehen -> dann wißt ihr/ wissen Sie was gemeint ist. Volle Punktzahl für einen tollen Mittagstisch. Und an der Herrn der sich beschwerte, dass es hier keinen Meerblick gäbe und man auf den "Parkplatz" gucken würde... es ist schwer die Nordsee nach Glückstadt zu holen und der Parkplatz ist der historische Glückstädter Marktplatz mit Kandelaber. Gepflegtes uriges Ambiente, leckeres, sehr frisches Essen. Wir sind immer wieder sehr zufrieden.

Hübsche Lokalität. Nette Bedienung. Platzreservierung ist ratsam. Für Rollstuhlbenutzer leider nicht geeignet.

Wow.... durch Zufall auf Der Kleinen Heinrich gestoßen. Und ich muss sagen ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Vom Essen über die Bedienung war wirklich alles Top! Leckere & Ehrliche Küche... Mit Portionen die satt machen.

Tolles Interieur, sehr gutes Essen. Die Bedienung sehr nett aber merkbar unter Arebeitsdruck.

Das beste was Glückstadt zu bieten hat

An einem lauen Sommerabend im Aussenbereich gesessen. Die Kellner:innen haben uns sehr gut beraten und wieselflink unsere Wünsche umgesetzt. Gebratene Matjesfilet als Vorspeise und Labskaus haben mehr als überzeugt.

Ich war schon öfter dort und komme immer wieder gerne.

Haben an einem Sonntag kurz vor Küchenschluss noch etwas gegessen, Roastbeef war sehr lecker und reichlich, Sauerfleisch ebenso.Die Bratkartoffeln waren auch sehr lecker, für zwei Personen könnte man noch ein paar Kartoffeln dazu geben.(vielleicht als kleine Anregung).Sonst alles bestens.

Das Essen schmeckt,die Preise ziehen an wie überall.

Waren das erste mal in Glückstadt und hatten Hunger, kurzer Blick in Googel und unsere Entscheidung für den "Der Kleinen Heinrich" war genau die richtige. Lecker Essen, nette Bedienung somit auch von uns eine weitere Empfehlung für einen Besuch.
