I actually expected more choice at 3pm in the afternoon.

I can absolutely recommend this snack bar. The rolls were baked a little too long, but the contents were absolutely perfect. I only expected more from the fried fish based on the reviews. It wasn't that great.

Probably difficult to reach by car due to the ferry dock (traffic jams on the ferry), but great by bike. Located right on the Elbe riverside path, very friendly, and the fish sandwiches were delicious. Thank you.

Delicious fried fish and well-filled fresh fish sandwiches. Helpful and very friendly staff. That day, there was a breakdown near the stall. A Dutch motorhome broke down because of a starter or battery problem. The young lady was very committed to helping. 🙏❤️ It's a pleasure to experience such employees in customer service. 😃

Baked fish in a roll with garlic sauce - very tasty

After we were disappointed in Wismar (supposedly the best fried fish) (8 euros for the garbage can) we went to Glückstadt (practically on the doorstep) to the fish cart in front of the ferry pier. Rarely have I eaten such delicious fried fish. The other fish sandwiches also looked very tasty. The saleswoman was super nice and willing to have a little chat. Now we know where to go when we feel like having a fish sandwich again.

Service super friendly! Arrived in Poor rain with flat tires pretty much knocked out. and in a moderately good mood. We each ate two fish sandwiches (Bismarck and fish cake), warmed ourselves with coffee and were inspired by the good mood of the waitress. She also told us a bit about the area and told us about a suitable dry place to patch our hose. Thank you for that! :)

Just ate super fresh matjes rolls, delicious, great snack for the waiting time.

Fries were delicious. But to deny someone who needs to go to the toilet the Dixi available after waiting 1.5 hours and eating their fries, I find it anti-social and a failure to help. Although there is seating in front of the snack bar and a toilet... Why doesn't the ferry service set up a Dixi for passengers who regularly wait?

Fish rolls are great, the price is right, the service is very friendly. Location is not far from the ferry. Always happy to go there.

Review from April 7th, 2024 That was probably the tastiest fish sandwich I've ever eaten. The roll was freshly made, the fish was juicy (not greasy) and it was a pure taste orgasm. If I'm here again, I'll definitely stop by for 1-2 fish sandwiches :)

We had just ordered 3 different fish rolls and were totally disappointed. The fried fish rolls were fried to death and the herring was totally over salted. We won't stop here anymore.

Rolls ok - extremely disappointed. Because of a disability, I can't "go for broke". What I explained. I understand that the toilet is not public. To leave someone out in the cold in such an obviously unfortunate situation is just humanly wrong. Poor. Really poor. There are situations in life where you should know when it is appropriate to help.

That was the worst herring roll I've ever eaten.

Good day, Here is my review. Service was very friendly and I liked the atmosphere for a fish sandwich stall on the street. I also found the first roll very tasty, so I immediately got a second one. Very nice and generously topped. At the table next door someone had a fried fish roll with a right shoe sole (type size 46) on it. As I said, generous and more than acceptable for the price. I was only a little disappointed with the choice of drinks, there was no Flensburger Radler and or anything like that :( I even stood on tiptoe to look into the lower levels of the fridge... but I was disappointed there too. The Sprite was still delicious. So my overall rating is 4/5 stars. We'll definitely be back!

Anyone who complains here hasn't been to the small lighthouse or SPO in Brunsbüttel. We always enjoyed it here. Prices are not excessive.

In the queue for the ferry we spontaneously bought matjes and fried fish rolls and were not disappointed. Fresh and tasty and a good portion of fish in the roll.

Ich esse nie Fisch, ich hasse Fisch, selbst Fischstäbchen jagen mir solche Angst ein das ich wie bei einer Begegnung mit einer Spinne an liebsten die Feuerwehr rufen würde das sie mich retten kommt. Hier ist es anders , euer Backfisch Brötchen ist das einzige ehemalig flossige Wesen das meine Gaumengegend passieren darf. Ey die Dinger sind soooo lecker, egal ob mit der leckeren Schlachterremulade oder mit der Knobi Soße , richtig gut ! Schön großes Brötchen lecker mit zusätzlichem Salat belegt. Die Lage dort in der Natur ist auch super grad für die die lange auf ihre Fähre warten, auch loben muss man sie super sympathische freundliche Verkäuferin ❤️ Kann man nur Empfehlen!

Kann die Rezensionen hier leider teilweise nicht nachvollziehen. Ziemlich lieblos zubereitete Brötchen, Gemüse bei dem sich in weder beim schneiden noch bei der Auswahl mühe gegeben wurde und alles getoppt von ganz normalem Großmarktfisch. Preislich kann man sich nicht beklagen

Qualität ist super, Preise auch und die Mädels sehr nett.

War super. Wenn man auf die Fähre wartet perfekt, es sei denn man ist allein. Dann würde ich mich nicht trauen, das Auto in der Reihe stehen zu lassen.

Lecker, frisch, freundlicher Service, viel Platz und frische Luft zum Genießen des Fischbrötchens

Ich war dort mit meiner Familie( Ehefrau und Sohn). Mir und meiner Frau hat es gut geschmeckt. Bei meinem Sohn jedoch war der backfisch sehr fettig. Als wir das essen erhalten haben war schon eine fettlarche auf dem Boden des Papptellers. Außerdem war der "Fisch" mehr pannade als alles andere. Nettes Ambiente und nette Verkäufer.

Sehr freundlich, frisch zubereitetes, sehr leckeres Fischbrötchen (Bismarck), Brezel und Kaffee bekommen. Preise absolut in Ordnung.

Einfach norddeutsch. Das sagt alles, die Brötchen sind sehr frisch und lecker, die Preise sind gut. Am besten, wenn man eh auf die Fähre möchte, hier eine kleine Pause einlegen und die Seele baumeln lassen.
