Arsién in Lübeck is a truly outstanding restaurant! The decor is stylish and cozy; you immediately feel at ease. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive – you can tell that service is a top priority here. The food tastes fantastic, freshly prepared, and presented with great attention to detail. A particularly positive aspect is their consideration for individual requests and food intolerances. While the prices are on the higher end, they are perhaps justified by the quality and service. Highly recommended – everything is just right!

We ate at Arsién and it served its purpose: we left satisfied. The food was good, nothing more and nothing less. The ambiance is rather cold; according to the menu, you're supposed to be sitting in a jungle. We certainly didn't find one in the restaurant area, and a green wall plus a few plants around the edges unfortunately don't suffice to create a jungle. Well, the restaurant itself set the benchmark for "jungle." For a self-proclaimed fine dining restaurant, as the owner stated in several comments on negative reviews, the staff should be outstanding in addition to the food. The food didn't deliver, and the staff is no better. Unmotivated, inattentive, and above all, slow. Individual conversations among the diners seemed to be more important that evening than the food on the counter or whether the guests had empty glasses. The fact that the negative impression is further reinforced by the owner's reaction to negative reviews is quite surprising. So, have fun commenting, but remember the benchmark you set for yourself and whether you actually meet it.

We picked up some takeaway sushi yesterday and were a bit disappointed. The rice was very grainy, the crispy chicken rolls were very dry, and overall it wasn't really to my taste. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, but there are better takeaway options in Lübeck. EDIT: Because of the detailed and personal response, I've upgraded the "Service" rating to five stars.

We stumbled upon arsién by chance while out and about in Lübeck and we're absolutely thrilled! A super stylish place with a great atmosphere, amazing cocktails, and delicious sushi burgers. Friendly and attentive service, and absolutely great value for money. The design is meticulous down to the last detail; even the restrooms are stylish. A real go-to spot; we'd love to come back.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and the chairs are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the wait for the food was very long, and the food itself wasn't very good either. The taste wasn't convincing, and after a few bites, I lost my appetite.

WOW - from start to finish. All the senses were perfectly captured. See, taste, hear, smell, feel! And then there's the perfect umami experience. 😊 It's a restaurant worth the trip if you want outstanding food, even from far away. The staff is attentive, courteous, and it's like eating with friends. It feels stress-free (despite a full house). The ambiance alone, the seats, and the water already being served are a wow!!! All the materials: tableware, lighting concept, and even the open kitchen feel natural, high-quality, and pleasant. There are so many highlights!! The food crowns the ambiance and fits seamlessly into the ambiance. If you're in Lübeck, you should definitely include it on your itinerary!! This Asian restaurant definitely deserves a star!!!

It's a bit more expensive here, but the price and the experience are worth it. We were shown to our seats by a friendly waitress and were well looked after throughout our stay. The food is, as always, a highlight and, in my opinion, the best sushi restaurant in Lübeck and the surrounding area. We paid an average of around €70 per person. The restrooms are superbly clean, and the journey there is a bit of an experience in itself. We'd happily go back, but not so often...😅

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The interior design is elegant and very tastefully done, creating a great atmosphere. The food was excellent — I tried the sushi, salmon tartare, and bao buns, all of which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cocktails were also delicious and well-balanced. The only small downside was that the dessert took around 30 minutes to arrive, which seemed like it may have been forgotten, especially since the rest of the dishes came out so quickly. That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Can recommend the Sushi Burger with Tuna. The background Musik is not loud, so one can talk and understand each other comfortably.

Everything is simply fantastic! May be limited for people with limited mobility due to the stairs leading to the entrance and restrooms. If you park in the parking garage, you can validate your ticket at the restaurant (maximum parking time is 2 hours). Highly recommended!

I was back in Lübeck after a year, and of course at Arsién. I didn't like it. The waiters were unfriendly and couldn't answer my guest's questions about the menu. They told him to check the website for pictures. Unfortunately, Pattie and Dário are no longer there. They would have provided much better service, which would certainly have been beneficial for sales. A real shame!

Very nice ambiance. Modern interpretation of good sushi. Very fine cocktails. Service was friendly, but lacked an eye for the little things. The appetizer arrived before the drinks, which shouldn't have happened. When the appetizer was placed, this was ignored and they asked blindly if anything was missing (!?). We had to point it out. Visible stains on the table weren't wiped away after clearing, only after we asked.

Bad: I had already eaten at another restaurant. We ordered drinks and wanted to try sushi. We ordered a plate of sushi just to try it. The waiter came back several times and asked if we wanted something to eat. The strangest and most disrespectful thing was that the waiter asked us if we were full with one plate of sushi and if we were still hungry. That's very strange. What business is it of the waiter to ask if one plate is enough to fill us up? I told him that we had eaten at another restaurant and wanted to have a drink and try sushi as a snack.

We always enjoy going to this restaurant. Now we wanted to invite our host family, who had two children (aged 7 and 5). There were eight of us there on August 6th. The children were downstairs on the swing and were happy when the male service employee (presumably the shift manager) came up to us and literally said, "I don't want to educate your children, but..." I really had to pull myself together and not explode, as I didn't want to create a pleasant situation for our guests. The colleague's behavior was impossible. The reason given was, "The wallpaper is super expensive and my boss will be really angry and will finish me off...". While reading the reviews, I've read about similar situations with families with small children. It's always about the expensive wallpaper and the moss wall. If the reason given is, "We're a fine dining restaurant," then such tones don't belong in a restaurant, whether fine dining or not. Or they say from the outset that children under a certain age are not allowed. Then you can't afford such inappropriate comments. or save the jokes PS: My criticism is not directed at the waitresses that evening.

I would especially like to highlight the delicious dessert, which rounded off the meal perfectly. To finish, we had a homemade gin with juniper and raspberry – aromatic, unusual, and a real treat! Full marks – we'll definitely be back!

We spontaneously discovered this restaurant because I was craving sushi. We went in without any great expectations and were pleasantly surprised! The quality is simply top-notch. The atmosphere is also lovely and cozy. The espresso martini was perfect. It was a very pleasant experience and worth every cent.

Unfortunately, sometimes you have to leave negative reviews. We went there with our two children. As a family, we eat sushi regularly and very much. The reception itself was strange. The restaurant manager greeted us with lukewarm enthusiasm and immediately looked critically at the fact that we came with two children. It made you feel like you were immediately unwelcome with children (our children weren't loud or anything like that). We were shown to a table next to a decorated wall. Before we could sit down, the owner immediately told us twice that the wall was not to be touched under any circumstances. Furthermore, you had to be careful of the wall when walking down. Since children are unfortunately not machines, our son briefly felt the wall. As if we were being watched, we were moved. Something like that has never happened to us before. Apparently, they don't know how children tick and how to handle them. Afterwards, we weren't served for at least 30 minutes, as if they wanted to punish us for our misconduct. We then left the restaurant. What a shame!

We had a wonderful evening here and are looking forward to the next time.

Went there spontaneously yesterday (without a reservation) and everyone was absolutely thrilled! Staff very friendly and personable throughout. Food, service and ambience very good!!! Prices are reasonable and justified in my opinion. It's better to invest €50 here and have a good time in a feel-good atmosphere with good cuisine than to spend €15 in an outdated chip shop (where you think afterwards: okay, but it wasn't great, I could have saved myself) Highly recommended (there are also vegetarian/vegan alternatives to fish). If you're lucky, you'll get a table for 6 without a reservation, but next time I'd reserve in advance... just to be on the safe side. Keep it up 👍🏻

One of the top 3 sushi restaurants that I know of. Arsen puts a lot of love into its concept and only uses first-class ingredients to conjure up its dishes. The starters are highly recommended. Whether it's a bao bun, gyoza or fried avocado. The food is an absolute delight and the cocktails round off the visit in a first-class way!

if you‘re in lübeck, go there or you‘ll miss the opportunity of a lifetime. Hands down the very best sushi I ever had. Each roll has a unique taste, I don’t know how to describe it but they had it down to every detail: fresh ingredients, ratio of rice to fish, the soy sauce is perfectly aligned, not to strong, actually complements the sushi, drinks are the cherry on top. I don‘t know any sushi restaurant that is comparable, hope to have the chance to visit again. Can‘t recommend it enough, if you go there, take one of the pralines as a little extra ;)

The service was warm and attentive, and the food was simply delicious. I had a sushi burger – I had never had anything like that before and it was really tasty! The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. We'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, the service wasn't quite what I expected. For restaurants in this price range, even if I just have a drink while I wait, I felt more comfortable at other places. The 20 minute wait for a coffee was too long for me and I don't think a waitress in a tank top - even if she's pretty - is appropriate. Anyway, thank you for the delicious sushi.

I've had better bowls, especially since they're quite expensive. Too spicy, too small, not enough sauce. Not bad but not appropriate for the price in my opinion. The lava cake was very tasty but also very, very expensive. And €2 for an ice cream ball with a diameter of 3cm is cheeky. However, the ambience is great and even the toilets are an experience. The waiter was also funny and super friendly

We were totally surprised at how unfriendly, rude and aggressive the waiters in this restaurant were. This happened twice. The waiter was even openly rude to the woman and that was fine with him. For this reason I don't feel like going there anymore.

Come here every now and then, it's always incredibly tasty - the best sushi (tempura rolls and teriyaki sauce) from Lübeck! Of course (unfortunately) it's a little more expensive, but every now and then you have to treat yourself to arsia ☺️

Great atmosphere, a very open space that is really beautifully decorated. The food was excellent but expensive. You can get very simple makis at a fair price, the rest are rather expensive. The gentleman at the door who greeted us and brought us to the table was extremely polite. The waitresses seemed very curt even though they obviously had time.

Unfortunately disappointed 😞 Arsien was one of the best sushi restaurants in Lübeck. However, we have noticed a negative trend in the last 2 years. The quality is good, nothing more and nothing less! Unfortunately, the sushi rolls have now shrunk a lot - the price performance is no longer right here. From an economic point of view, I can understand that the prices need to be adjusted and yes, Arsien is already expensive by Lübeck standards. If, in return, the portions shrink and the quality is no longer right, things no longer fit together. Really a shame! We wish you continued success!

I have rarely experienced a restaurant that impresses in so many aspects as this one. As soon as you enter, you can feel the special atmosphere, a stylish ambience that combines elegance and comfort. The service was outstanding: attentive but unobtrusive, always there when you needed something, and with a palpable passion for hospitality. From a culinary point of view it was an absolute highlight. The food was of excellent quality, with fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and tasted excellent. The wine selection also left nothing to be desired. Overall, this was one of the best restaurant visits I have ever experienced. A place to return to and which I can fully recommend.

What can I write? The toilets are really an eye-catcher, very well maintained and beautifully designed. We ate there with my 18 month old son. There was actually nothing suitable for small children on the menu. He then got a simple bowl. Our appetizer arrived at the same time as the bowl, even though I had said that his food should come as soon as it was ready. Now we were faced with the problem that he saw my girlfriend's bun and wanted a bun too. So he started screaming and refused the bowl completely. When I asked if my son could get an empty roll, I was told that they could only be sold as shown on the menu. Okay, then the child screams at the whole store. I also couldn't give him any of my food because everything was soaked in sweet chili sauce and my bowl should have been labeled as spicy. There is also no changing table.

Food excellent. Service took a while to get going, but was very accommodating. The ambience is nice, but the acoustics are quite loud when it's full.

And what I also noticed was very positive: Even though it was relatively loud, you could still have a good conversation because the tables were arranged in such a way that you didn't hear too much of other conversations.

Arsien Sushi in the Lübeck car park is really an experience! The burgers were not only delicious, but also incredibly interestingly prepared - a real feast for the eyes. Everything was perfect, even going to the toilets was a highlight. The only downside is the very high prices, but for the quality and the ambience it is definitely justified.

The location is an eye-catcher... - even going to the toilet is an experience here. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it! Be sure to make a reservation because, despite the expansion, the store is always full in the evenings. Rightly so!

We had booked a table for 18.45, but we ended up waiting for a quarter of an hour before we were seated. Subsequently, we waited for half an hour to order food. When 1.5 hours had passed we finally got our food. We were getting hungry and wanted to order more but this was not an option because they had already closed the kitchen at 8pm? It can't be right that you have 2 hours at the restaurant to eat, and there is such a long wait, and that you close the kitchen so early. We had to leave and find another sushi place so we could get our fill. Really a shame when the sushi we got finally tasted really good.... All in all I think the wait and service ruined our whole experience and we left very disappointed

Really bad experience! Positive: Ambience. The bill came after 5 minutes. Negative: Waited 45 minutes, no food order possible. Drinks arrived after half an hour, the girls next to us, who sat before us and were allowed to order shortly after us, received their drinks after 35 minutes. The woman directing the seats didn't take orders and initially didn't offer a table for half an hour when it was full. But you could reserve online. There were hardly any waitresses in sight, although they were nice and friendly, they had been to some tables three times and not to ours at all. 6 men worked in a continuous loop on the food, but somehow hardly anyone got anything. There was a table of four next to us that had either finished eating a long time ago and couldn't order anything to drink or wasn't asked if they wanted food. Plus the incredibly high prices. Maybe justified, but... We then paid and left; 2 hours after first entering and not even food in sight - this has never happened to me and doesn't speak for the store. Everyone can have a bad day, but there was something wrong here. I can't recommend it at all.
