Great food, the best Asian restaurant in Lübeck! Whether sushi, teriyaki, or other Asian dishes, everything is truly delicious! We love coming here again and again! The staff and owner are always friendly and accommodating.

In the historic city of Lübeck, there is a slightly unusual Japanese restaurant. This restaurant serves original sushi and udon dishes, created by a chef who studied Japanese cuisine in Tokyo and New York. Among the dishes was the "SUSHI BURGER." It was pricey at 25 euros (about 4,500 yen) per plate, but the taste was mind-blowing. The burger was salmon sandwiched between a fried rice bun, deep-fried like a croquette or tonkatsu, and it was a burger I had never seen in Japan. The accompanying Asian vegetables also had an ethnic flavor. I was really impressed by the crispy fried rice bun, and it was delicious. However, is 25 euros a bit pricey?!

The sushi is truly delicious. The grilled dishes are a bit less so. My chicken teriyaki was very dry. But for the sushi, it's definitely recommended.

The entrance is very unassuming. The interior of the restaurant is modern and European. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. I'd happily go back.

First time delivery: Sushi & Beef with Noodles €85 The sushi didn't blow us away...it was okay. The beef was tough; overcooked, and dry. The noodles were like something out of a packet and extremely sweet, with no particular flavor, so they threw it away. Lots of PVC packaging, could be more environmentally friendly. Won't be again! What a shame.

I had dinner at Manna with a friend. Honestly, I expected more from the sushi for the price. It was fine. The miso soup was very tasty. The service was okay, but it took a long time to get the food and pay...

Wir waren Sonntagabend dort, es war ziemlich leer, aber alles in allem ansprechend. Die Getränke kamen rasch, wurden den ganzen Abend aber nicht mehr nachgefüllt, fand ich persönlich vom Service ein bisschen schade. Als Vorspeise gab es, ein kräftig gewurztes, Thunfischtatar. Bei der Hauptspeise haben wir uns für das "Sushiboot" für 2 Personen entschieden, auch hier war wieder das kräftig gewürzte Tatar dabei, was einfach zu intensiv gewesen ist um danach wieder normales Sushi zu genießen. Als Nachtisch gab es dann noch das Marzipan Sushi, war auf jeden Fall mal etwas anderes. Alles in allem ist das Restaurant gut, aber nichts was einen, vom Sushi her, vom Hocker haut.

Very cozy place, nice waiters, fantastic food. When the bill came we felt pressured to give a tip, waiters were hovering over us, so it detracts from the impression.

Unfortunately, the restaurant did not meet my expectations based on the existing reviews. The food was okay, but nothing special. It was busy and we had to wait over an hour for food without warning. Not everything came as described on the menu and was relatively expensive.

Über die sehr herzliche Atmosphäre und das sehr freundliche Personal habe ich mich sehr gefreut! Die Kokos Suppe war sehr lecker, der Tofu ebenfalls. Die Bowl war leider komplett kalt. Das war wahrscheinlich beabsichtigt, ein paar warme Komponenten hätten ihr vielleicht gut getan. Eine Empfehlung auch für nicht Fisch essende Mensch.

First of all, we were placed right next to the toilet even though half the bathroom was free. Afterwards, my companion was served tea with a dead fly. Afterwards, half of the order was forgotten and for the sushi with truffle mayo, the truffle mayo was forgotten and despite chopping, we didn't get any. Very expensive prices for German conditions.

Dined here twice in the space of 3 nights. Food and drinks are 10/10 - cannot be faulted. Service can be a bit slow but the story behind the eatery and owner is commendable, as is the service in the making of the food and excellent quality served. Perhaps offers explanation of slightly slow service, good things come to those who wait. Offered complimentary drink after dinner of 2nd time dining.

We travelled by trains, plane and automobile from London to Lubeck. Don’t know why but we all wanted sushi. We had sushi and sashimi with a couple of extras, some weissbier, gin and lemonades. Unbelievably good. The detail in presentation and ingredients and flavour was incredible. Absolutely delicious. Wonderful. We all gave 5 out of 5.

Food and drinks were very tasty and particularly beautifully prepared and decorated. Service a bit slow. But we'll be back again!

Wir waren gestern wieder bei Manna zu Gast und wurden abermals von der Kreativität des Sushi Meisters überrascht. Ich habe ein paar Bilder beigefügt. Auch die Qualität ist hervorragend. Wir lieben die hausgemachte Teriyaki Sauce und japanische Mayonnaise. Man kann das Sushi, aus unserer Sicht, bei Manna mit dem bei Steffen Henssler vergleichen. Wir mögen die sehr herzliche und familiäre Atmosfaire und kommen gerne wieder. Übrigens reisen wir extra aus Hamburg nach Lübeck zum Sushi Essen :).

We ran out of the rain and into a cozy room with extremely pleasant service. Here we were recommended a combination of different types of sushi, and had it served on a beautiful schute. This is one of the best I've tasted! The kids would give the restaurant AT LEAST 7 stars, and will return tomorrow. Can really be recommended!

It may be that the sushi is really as good as is claimed everywhere - unfortunately we couldn't convince ourselves of it. Two days before the visit we had reserved a table for two people by phone - and when we got there on Saturday, unfortunately there was only a sign in the door saying that the restaurant was not open to the general public. In our opinion this is disgraceful and we were very disappointed. Of course we won't try again.

Wir haben Sushi telefonisch zur Abholung bestellt. Das stand pünktlich bereit in edler Verpackung. Präsentation tipptopp, alles schön angerichtet. Leider ist Optik nicht alles… Trotz abwechslungsreicher Auswahl, war es geschmacklich sehr einheitlich… Einzig der Schärfegrad hat den Unterschied gemacht. Technisch ist Luft nach oben, die inside-out waren zu locker gerollt. Den Tempura rolls hätte frisches Öl gut getan. Preislich eher im oberen Drittel angesiedelt, was leider nicht im Verhältnis stand. Wir werden nicht wieder bestellen.

If you value fresh innovation, variety and great quality when it comes to Asian cuisine, you have to go to Manna. The kitchen prepares the dishes creatively and imaginatively and the eye is also spoiled. The service from the waitress is very attentive and discreet. Friendliness and politeness are very important here. The Manna is already in the higher price range, but it is worth every cent and you always go home with a great feeling after your meal. For us it's always a reason to go back again and again.

Flot og ren restaurant med søde tjenere. Maden kom hurtigt og det så virkelig flot ud og var lækkert og velsmagende. Det er store portioner man få så vi havde lidt svært ved at spise det hele.

Sehr authentisches japanisches Restaurant👍🏼👍🏼 der Chefkoch ist international von mehreren spitzenköchen in der Zubereitung von Ramen und Sushi ausgebildet. Klare Empfehlung nehmt die Chefzubereitung.

Liebevoll abgerichtetes Sushi !! Einfach lecker !! Zwar hochpreisig, aber es lohnt sich für das Geld :)

Waren leider seeeehr enttäuscht. Das Restaurant hat so gute Bewertungen, dass wir uns auf gutes Essen eingestellt haben. Zuerst zu den Getränken: das Bier, welches mein Partner hatte, schmeckte abgestanden. Mein spritziger Drink war leider auch nicht so mein Geschmack. Jetzt zum Essen: wir hatten nicht so großen Hunger, hatten also jeder nur zwei Sushirollen bestellt. Die Makis waren okay, aber wir fanden, dass (vermutlich) der Reis etwas versalzen war. Dann hatte ich eine vegetarische Crispy Rolle mit Tofu, laut Speisekarte 8 Stück. Auf meinem Teller hatte ich dann 6 Stück zu liegen. Natürlich für den gleichen Preis. Naja, ich hatte dann nachgefragt und die Erklärung war, dass die Stücke halt einfach ein bisschen dicker geschnitten worden sind. Wie man aber auf dem Bild (unten im Bild) sehen kann, waren die Stücke auch so schon sehr dünn. Für mich einfach nur Abzocke. Um auf den Punkt zu kommen: für das Geld, und es ist definitiv ein teueres Sushi-Restaurant, habe ich vieeeeel mehr von Allem erwartet. Würde das nächste Mal dann eher zu einem anderes Sushi Restaurant gehen.

Die Bedienung war unglaublich freundlich und schnell, das hat uns gut gefallen. Das Ambiente war nicht ganz gemütlich, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Das Sushi war gut und hübsch angerichtet! Allerdings hat uns das gewisse etwas gefehlt, alles hat recht gleich geschmeckt. Trotzdem war es den Besuch wert.

Sehr lecker und ein toller Anblick der angerichteten Speisen aus vernost 🤤 und einfach ein tolles Ambiente , der Service ist super nett und hilfsbereit besonders bei der Auswahl des Essens. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ein schön umgebautes altes Keller gewölbe der schönen Innenstadt trifft auf die moderne und ruhige Art.

Ich denke, das Manna ist einfach nicht mein Geschmack, das Sushi war okay, aber nicht gut. Die Einrichtung sieht sehr hochwertig aus, aber auch ein bisschen kalt und der Inhaber war ein bisschen aufdringlich und ich hatte den Eindruck, dass er nicht mit unserer Bestellung zufrieden war? Entweder das oder meine Begleitung und ich haben nicht seinem bevorzugtem Klientel entsprochen. Die Bedienung war aber außerordentlich freundlich und das Essen war auch schnell da. Die Toilette war sehr sehr dreckig.

Sushi Platte des Hauses für eine Person, 1x Coca Light und 1x Suppe müsst ihr hier nen flotten 50er rechnen. Die Sushis sehen gut aus, aber die fruchtigen Soßen die als Deko auf den Inside Out sind wirklich Geschmackssache. Weniger ist mehr in diesem würde ich empfehlen, mein Fall wars nicht. Preis-Leistung war in meinem Fall leider wirklich nicht angemessen. Schade, sah von den Bewertungen her sehr gut aus aber 12 Sushi für 35er zu verkaufen und dabei keine angemessene Location zu bieten ist wild.

Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig gefunden und waren richtig begeistert. Die Bedienung ist echt nett und das Essen war vielfältig und sehr besonders. Wirklich ein tolles Restaurant, dort werden wir auf jeden Fall nochmal essen!!

Extrem leckeres Sushi in einem sehr schönen Ambiente mit sehr gutem Service! Alle Sushis wurden mit Liebe zubereitet, dazu gab's eine Schale selbstgemachte Teriyaki Soße. Die Vorspeisen waren ebenfalls weit über dem Durchschnitt lecker. Dieser Sushi Laden hebt sich ganz klar von den meisten Sushi Läden ab und ist definitiv einen Besuch Wert!

… habe das Restaurant im Vorbeigehen entdeckt, Bin dann rein und war sehr positiv überrascht: Modernes, ansprechendes Ambiente, eine gut sortierte aber nicht unnötig große Speisekarte, habe als kleine Vorspeise mini Frühlingsrollen bestellt, die mit ein wenig Salat garniert und mit zwei leckeren Soßen serviert wurden, sehr lecker. Das Sushi wurde toll präsentiert und mit hausgemachter Soße serviert, es war super lecker. Werde bei meinem nächsten Lübeck Besuch hier wieder essen gehen, echt super lecker.

Wir waren zu viert an einem Dienstagabend dort, es war relativ leer. Das Ambiente war okay, ist aber ausbaufähig. Was mich begeistert hat war der Küchenchef selbst, Sushimeister, der uns bediente und beriet. Wir äußerten 3 Sushiarten die wir mögen und er hat uns ein Boot vorgeschlagen mit einigen Kreationen die er sehr lecker findet, hat uns also eine Richtung vorgegeben aber unsere Wünsche trotzdem mit eingebaut. Wir meinten das sei uns zu viel (das Boot für 4 Personen) und er hat es uns daraufhin sogar etwas günstiger gemacht. Er war sehr freundlich unf hatte Humor, meinte wenn es uns nicht schmeckt kriegen wir unser Geld zurück😂 Es hat uns aber sehr gut geschmeckt, das Boot war vielseitig gefüllt und auch alle anderen Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Zitronen-Minze-Limo, Sake und Bier waren auch alle zufriedenstellend. Top, gerne wieder!
