I would have given it 5 stars for the ambiance, friendliness, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food, but that's an important part of a restaurant review. The food (salmon) wasn't cooked to perfection and tasted bland; we were expecting something special given the great location. The next table had pizza, which looked good; maybe we'll try it next time. We've already tried it! Great! 😉

I only had a Caesar salad for €17.90 because I already knew from previous visits that I wouldn't warm to the food. Unfortunately, it wasn't a real treat this time either, but at least the chicken breast was warm and freshly grilled.

When my family and friends come with us to eat there, it feels like coming home. I even got red Alster cheese! It's a luxury when the chef goes to the nearby supermarket and gets the ingredients. To put it briefly! It feels like one big family!! Thank you for many excellent evenings in the past and in the future.

I was in Bad Oldesloe for work and was looking for a great restaurant. Perfect location, food was 10 out of 10. The service was also excellent! Highly recommended

Everything was simply delicious. We felt completely at home. It was worth every euro.

We were very happy with this neighborhood restaurant. Everything was just right: the food was excellent, as was the service and ambiance. It was a pleasure all around. We were also curious to see if this high standard could be maintained. Over time, a little bit was missing from every aspect. Unfortunately, a lot was missing: Prices went up, everything else went down: -Service was non-committal to disinterested (restaurant was not fully staffed) -Incorrect dishes were delivered -The correctly served scampi were also taken back, and subsequently -Dry scampi were served by keeping them warm -Pasta with scampi and scallop was meager: only 1 scallop and 3 scampi -Dessert menu was run-of-the-mill and unimaginative -Créme brûlée was lukewarm and too soft, no decoration or kick -Special dessert offered (strawberries and mascarpone) was incomplete and boring, with no creative substitute -Our request for a fruit dessert without milk or sorbet as an exception could not be accommodated (1 guest has a milk intolerance, inflexible reaction) -Spoons were thrown onto the wooden table for dessert!? -Espresso order was forgotten -Service at the end was not courteous; after the disaster, a friendly conclusion should have been made (like before). Conclusion: Prices have increased, food and service have declined. You have one more try. After that, I won't enjoy coming back.

Went there for the second time today with my partner and we agreed that Restaurant Laurent deserves a good rating. The menu offers a well-selected variety of Italian dishes, but we were particularly impressed by two specialties: the spaghetti alla carbonara and the lasagne. The greeting from the kitchen is always a welcome dish and would almost be enough as an appetizer. I can highly recommend the tomato cream soup as a starter. Velvety, aromatic and with just the right balance between sweetness and acidity. Refined with a touch of basil and a drizzle of olive oil – simply heavenly. The carbonara was a real highlight - spaghetti cooked al dente in a creamy sauce of egg yolk, parmesan and guanciale. No unnecessary frills – simply traditional and perfectly seasoned. The balance between spice and creaminess was on point, every bite was a delight. The lasagna Bolognese was at least as convincing - a poem made of finely layered pasta, refined by Bolognese and a velvety béchamel sauce. Served fresh from the oven, with a golden brown crust and an intense, savory flavor that lingers on the tongue for a long time. The service was attentive and warm without being intrusive - I would like to thank Alessio, who makes you feel welcome at all times. Conclusion: The carbonara and lasagne are absolute recommendations - homemade, authentic and prepared with a lot of love. I'll definitely be back!

Qualitativ sehr gute Speisen (Pizza nicht probiert), aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Die Getränkepreise allerdings sind grenzwertig, Wein und Aperitife teuer ! Das Glas Rotwein Primitivo für 10,90 € - das ist schon heftig, ein Aperitif für 8,90 €. Das hat dann die Gesamtabrechnung des Abends etwas eingetrübt. Ansonsten war nichts zu beanstanden.

We are sooo happy that we found this place. In the Laurent we forget our stressful everyday lives for a short time and feel “at home”. Wonderful food, great ambience and a team that Alessio can be incredibly proud of. We love the open Italian style and the warmth with which we are greeted, entertained and farewell. The working atmosphere at Laurent also seems to be really good, as the employees are always in a good mood, polite and quick, despite stressful moments. The higher prices reflect the overall high standard of the restaurant and are absolutely justified. When we go to Alessio, it's because we want to eat well in a nice and warm environment. Dogs are just as welcome as we are, which makes me personally even happier. The Laurent is our personal oasis of well-being ❤️ After each visit, we look forward to the next one and hope that we can experience many more wonderful hours with you! We were in the restaurant with 3 people. Italian Parliament very tasty and once spaghetti carbonara. Paella highly recommended. Service perfect. Slightly high noise level. But is one of the best Italians.

BOOAHH. Just great. I can hardly remember ever having enjoyed a better lunch. The restaurant is airy, modern and elegantly furnished. The staff is very attentive and on point. But the most important thing for a restaurant is the food. And they are world class. The greeting from the kitchen is more than that. It changes daily. We had a delicious vegetable cream soup. That would have been enough as a starter. Fresh ingredients, only the least amount of fat used and a good portion size. The prices are reasonable for what you get. You have to travel far to find something better.

I found waiting 105 minutes (one hour and 45 minutes!) for lunch despite a reservation to be far too long, especially since there were small children there. Unfortunately, it had not been said before or shown on the homepage that today there was only a Christmas menu with 4 dishes, all very special and expensive (30-50 euros, meat, fish, pasta) and the quantity offered was manageable, but tasty . Luckily, when asked, the children were allowed to choose pizza or pasta from the regular menu (approx. 15-20 euros). Upscale, modern, stylish atmosphere, waiters very confident.

As always, it was very tasty, and I'm most pleased with the Lugana, which isn't even on the menu. But always there for me :-) and of course also the top service

We had booked our Christmas party with Alessio again. Everything was MEGA again... You are welcomed/served in a very friendly manner and the food was a dream from start to finish. A restaurant where everything is very harmonious. We wish Alessio & his team a happy new year in 2025....

You can have a fancy meal here. We received a warm welcome from the service. He was always friendly and accommodating. We were there on Boxing Day, there was a Christmas menu, but we were also offered alternatives. The atmosphere there is romantic and somewhat dignified, although it doesn't seem stuffy. The food was on point (pasta vegetarian and the other portion with strips of beef fillet). Was recommended to us by someone from Oldeslo ;).

I came across this restaurant on Google and with all the reviews I thought it would definitely be worth a visit. My expectations were even exceeded. All courses were very tasty, fresh and a taste experience. The beef fillet with Gorgonzola sauce was to die for. The service was very friendly and attentive. The dishes came very quickly. The ambience fits in with all the positive perceptions. Really a nice restaurant.

An upscale Italian. This is also reflected in the quality, taste and portion sizes. Enough to fill you up and not overeat. The prices are adjusted, but not excessive.

It is well known that Hamburg does not have the best Italians compared to Germany, but I would never have thought that here in Bad Oldesloe I would get the best salmon fillet I have ever had in the entire northern German region. Super crispy, aromatic skin and totally tender fish meat underneath. Perfectly rounded off with crunchy vegetables and lemon. Plus a nice atmosphere and nice staff. Recommendation

We were there yesterday with 17p and made a reservation online. We came into the restaurant and from the greeting to the cloakroom there were two wonderful waiters there for us. I felt as light as a little king in the Italian Restaurant Laurent. It was my birthday and the table was beautifully decorated with flowers from Laurent herself. WOW!! The food and service were top notch You could see that professionals work here. The quality plays a big role here and you notice it right down to the last bite!!!!! How do we become regular guests and come specifically from Reinbek ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks Team Laurent.
