It truly couldn't be better! The food was amazing! Fresh, juicy, and generous portions! My husband says it's like being in Greece! The staff and service were charming and very attentive! We will now always eat here on our way north! Thank you!

I don't understand the good reviews. It took ages for the food to arrive. The appetizer was forgotten—no apology was offered. The meat was so dry and charred that half of it was sent back—no one even asked why. As I write this review, I still have the burnt taste in my mouth. The restroom, the entire ambiance, and the overall condition are completely outdated and unsightly. The fries were good—one star for that.

Eating in is a disaster. It takes forever, orders get messed up, and the servers are unfriendly. We thought we'd order now, but we were told to come in at 6:00 PM to pick up the food. By 6:30 PM, we still hadn't had any food. The response was, "There are so many regulars here today." Great, that was the last time for us.

Absolutely excellent Greek restaurant, with a huge menu. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions are large. The portion in the picture is ordered for "the little hunger", i.e. a particularly small portion. I couldn't finish it, but I got a tray so I could take the rest home 😂 Definitely a place I would like to visit again ❤️

Stopped here on our way back from FL and have no regrets. Fresh herbs, tender meat, and delicious fries. Two people with large drinks came to just over €40, and there was even some left on our plates, even though we're big eaters. We were lucky to get a seat; the place was busy and almost all the tables were reserved, and that was on a weekday. The wait was just normal for a restaurant. Thank you for the delicious food! Your tzatziki is your own creation; you have to like it.

We had driven past the restaurant the day before and found it very inviting. Without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated at a large table. Although it was busy, everything went very quickly. Friendly service and a super-delicious homemade coleslaw. The main course was a dream with Metaxa sauce. Ouzo on the house before and afterward. I definitely have to go back!

Nice restaurant with a Greek flair. The only drawback: carpeted floors. I just find it old-fashioned and unhygienic. We got coleslaw as an appetizer and Greek shots on the house. The meat was very juicy and well seasoned. The plates were beautifully prepared and varied. We would definitely come back!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There were six of us. Unfortunately the service mixed something up or pretty much everything. That wasn't the worst thing. The bad thing was that my order went completely under the table or was misunderstood. I got my food when everyone else at my table had already finished. That was sad, but the saddest thing was that the service cleared away while I was still eating. We didn't even get an apology or anything. On top of that, the table next to us apologized a thousand times for having ordered incorrectly and were asked in between if everything was okay. With us everything was a mess and we didn't even get a small apology, nothing. And that's why I'm unfortunately very disappointed. The food tasted good. I don't want to complain, but you guys need to work on your service a bit. I'm honestly sad about it. You shouldn't make any distinctions just because the table next to you maybe eats €100 more. I think you should treat everyone equally and not make distinctions.

Had dinner with two colleagues. It's best to make a reservation because it's a busy restaurant. The food was delicious, the service friendly, and the price was very reasonable. We also had a delicious ouzo on the house. Next time I'm in the area, I'll go back.

Good morning, that's my conclusion from the Taverna Rhodes. We ordered food to take away. We were totally thrilled. The food was still super hot when I got back to the construction site. The portion was huge and really tasty. While I was waiting for the food, I watched the other plates that came by and they all looked perfect. The staff was super friendly and immediately helpful. You can pay with cash or EC card or credit card. The parking lot is clean and nice and big, but the lighting from the parking lot and in front of the door was not there or on. Conclusion, great team, definitely coming back, keep it up.

Ordered Bifteki with Metaxa sauce to pick up. The longer waiting time was shortened with Quzo... As always, the wait was worth it because Rhodes is one of the top Greeks north of the channel!

A lovely restaurant with excellent food and extremely friendly staff. Even though the restaurant was fully booked at 1am, the food came quickly and was of top quality. Absolute tip that is no longer a secret. The restaurant is not far from the A7 motorway and is therefore also suitable for a break. But it's better to reserve in advance.

I was in this restaurant for the first time today. It is easy to reach and has plenty of parking spaces in front of the door. There is a cute outdoor area. We sat in the restaurant. It is comfortably rustic furnished. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. The food is good and solid and the price-performance ratio is right. I had gyros with 2 lamb chops with rice and tzatziki. The gyros were tender and great, the lamb was ok.

This was our first time eating or ordering something here and eating it at home. Price-performance ratio was right, the short service was good and 4 people had the meal without any problems! We are already looking forward to our first visit on site.

So there is no good rating from me. The food was mediocre. Long waiting times. And those who got their food left quicker than we got ours. You could see people coming and leaving pretty quickly. From my side the store won't see me again. Unless my girlfriend wants to eat something different and not always at home.

Ich war seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr dort essen. Früher alles top. Jetzt enttäuschend. Massenabfertigung statt Qualität. Salat fade,ohne Geschmack. Metaxa Sauce im Grunde Tomatensauce aus dem Textra Pack. Röstkartoffeln entpuppten sich als TK Rösti. Geht gar nicht. Service schlecht.

I have been a regular guest for over 20 years (previously on Apenrader Str. in Flensburg). We were always very satisfied and the quality of the food was impressive. The price is right too. Very friendly staff. It just doesn't get any better. :)

I should order somewhere else. (Besides, I wasn't the only one this happened to) If you can't accept honest criticism in order to possibly improve something, you should abandon Google reviews. We stopped here while traveling from Leipzig to Sweden based on the recommendation of a gas station employee. I was a little skeptical at first because many people recommend restaurants where I actually only found them average, but I am deeply indebted to the young man at the gas station. It was incredibly delicious. The meat was juicy and really on point, the fries had the perfect consistency and the red rice was heavenly. My colleague had the noodles with metaxa sauce and they were also an absolute dream. I can only recommend that everyone come here and see for themselves.

The best piece of lamp in wine sauce in a long time. Best piece of meat this summer 😃. Only seconds away from the autobahn near the border, and totally worth a visit. Quick service and a nice table outside to enjoy a meal after 8hrs in the car today.

We stopped at Taverna Rhodes on the way back home (Bavaria) from Norway. We received a very friendly welcome and were given gyros with calamari, even though this combination wasn't on the menu. The calamari was super tender and the gyros were perfect!!! The service deserves at least 6 stars. Since we arrived relatively late, we were allowed to park our motorhome directly in front of the restaurant. Thank you again for the great evening!!! We'll definitely be back!!!

Så var der en dame som bælger at gå i en diskution med os om at vi garvede fået det at vide da vi kom, og ALLE skulle vente 1 time på deres mad, og sådan var det bare ! Til orientering - FIK VI INTET AT VIDE om at det tog en time, fordi så var vi gået, fordi vi havde en bagkant. Maden var ok, ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Kan IKKE anbefales.

Can NOT be recommended, MEGA long wait for the food without information about this. When you ask about the food, the staff get into a discussion and say that everyone has to wait 1 hour for their food!!! The food was bland and dry. Similar to bad service and surly staff who do not accommodate their guests. Such a shame, such a rather silly end to our wedding day.

There is a seat right at the entrance, the smokers are standing right outside the window where the person is standing right in front of the window and they didn't ask you once if you wanted something more to drink or if you liked it. We'll be happy to come back and convince ourselves that it wasn't ideal that day or that it's always like that.
