Die besten Restaurants in Monschau

Aoms laat je jezelf leiden door TripAdvisor. Dit was TripAdvisor keuze 2024. Het restaurant ligt buiten het centrum in heerlijk groene omgeving. We waren vroeg dus eerst nog buiten een heerlijke riesling gedronken. Binnen sfeervol ingericht. Amuse was geweldig. Twee heerlijke stukjes heel bijzonder brood. Geweldig gekruid met wat groentes erin met twee heel bijzondere boters. Daarna werd het minder. Ik had sous vide gegaard ibérico varken met een soort hertenpate. De laatste was lekker. Ibérico erg droog. Moeilijk weg te krijgen. En heel veel andere smaken er om heen. Hoofdgerecht was kalfsrug met groenten en een hollandaise( mousse?). Ook hier vlees erg doorbakken en veel smaken in de vorm van sauzen pureeen etc op het bord wat het een verwarrend gerecht maakte. Tafelgenoot had tonijn en zalm. Ook hier had de pan te lang op het vuur gestaan. Wel lekker. Hoeveelheden ook enorm. Maar misschien is dat allemaal wel Duits. Chef doet iets teveel zijn best naar mijn smaak

Walked in spontaneously, everything was reserved (fully booked), but still got a free spot. Food was served in 15 minutes and was delicious. Great!

The food is very good and plentiful

I bought the delicious fig mustard again. I also try the blackcurrant mustard. We were advised by a nice, competent woman.

Nice restaurant with friendly service and good food. Nothing to complain about. Keep it up. Greetings from the Netherlands

kleines Hotel abseits der Ortschaft Monschau. Nette Rezeptionistin. Zimmergrösse war gut und es war sauber, allerdings fehlt uns der Wohlfühlfaktor. Bettenqualität war nicht besonders, trotz wellenförmige Matraze, u.a. Geräusche waren vom Flur und draussen im Zimmer zu hören. Es gab einen Wasserkocher und Kaffee/Tee im Zimmer, TV Gerät funktionierte. Frühstücksbuffet, klein jedoch nicht gut organisiert. Sauberkeit am Tisch war nicht gut. Parkplätze beim Hotel. Man braucht 10 min nach Monschau und 40 min um nach Aachen zu fahren. (Auto)

Delicious schnitzel and nice service. But no atmosphere.

Always worth a stop when passing through. When the weather's nice, you can sit comfortably outside. Like everything else, prices have gotten higher here, too. Two small pots of coffee and two slices of cake cost €18. Not exactly cheap. The cake was tasty, though.

Employees always very friendly. Food always warm and fresh. Absolutely best fries in the area.

De schnitzel was zo droog als de Sahara en zo hard als de rocky mountains 🤮. De bediening had er weinig zin in en toen ik wilde betalen moest de eigenaar in de plaatselijke dorpskroeg gezocht worden

Food is delicious when it's open. You shouldn't rely on it. This is the second time we wanted to eat there but it was closed (Fridays at 6 p.m.).

Very delicious. We ate and drank there twice in one day. It was warm, so we only sat outside. Inside, however, it looks very cozy, lovingly decorated, in keeping with the building and the location. They have treats you can't find everywhere. The drinks are also amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly. It would definitely be my regular if I lived there. Thanks again...

I rarely go to the store, I just made a purchase, I really like the store, the service was fast, we just didn't get a straw, but this is important for takeaway, I think.

We had dinner at the restaurant yesterday. Very attractive outside, but time seems to have stood still inside. The spiders inside the windows liked it. We sat inside and were looking forward to delicious food. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Three very small mini pieces of pork medallion, 3 (!!!) sticks of asparagus drowned in hollandaise plus a handful of fries for just under 25 euros - you have to bring that first!!! There was a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste, not to mention “getting full”. The service was also rather poor for a restaurant: a side salad was not brought after being asked twice. One meal had an “accident” and only arrived when everyone else was almost finished. It can happen, but the waiter should explain the mishap to the guest in a way that makes them feel valued. Last but not least, it was cleared away, even though some people at the table hadn't finished eating yet. When we were approached by the service staff, we got an eye roll... Conclusion: We wouldn't go there again. A lot of money spent on little and bland food.

Absolutely average snack in a nice atmosphere. Both sausage and fries were solid, but nothing special. The service was nice and the price was reasonable.
