Rip-off! This beer garden should be avoided at all costs. Two of us just ate a fries, a sausage, and a total of three drinks for €30 each. The beer garden is open and well-stocked. The restroom is locked and didn't open even when asked. They should find a public restroom!!! In addition to the over-salted fries and the exorbitant prices, this is a complete disgrace. You have to give it one star, but even that's too many.

Absolutely not. Upon inquiry, we were told that there are no restrooms, and a portable toilet is only open from 3 p.m. And that's despite seating for at least 50 people, serving drinks and snacks. Where does something like that exist? How can you get a liquor license for this?

Absolutely outrageous. The fries are soggy, oily, and oversalted, and for €3.50 you get a rather small portion. The supposedly homemade sauce tastes like €1.50 curry ketchup, and the sausages are all burnt. Absolutely avoid!

A currywurst costs €5.50 and comes in very small quantities. It comes with a modest half-slice of square bread. The quantity was really small compared to the price paid. We left hungry.

The fries were rock hard and tasted rancid. They had a consistency like pretzel sticks. I can only recommend everyone walk past the stand and eat somewhere else. 2 drinks, two currywurst fries for €27, and it was just disgusting.

Absolutely average snack bar in a nice atmosphere. Both the sausage and fries were decent, but nothing special. The service was friendly and the price was reasonable.

Unfortunately a failure. The sausage was okay, but that half slice of toast was really ridiculous. Plus it's cold, not toasted. When I asked about the side dish, I was told that it comes with a slice of bread. Then that half slice of cold toast is just ridiculous and cheap.

I was very disappointed. My bratwurst tasted like NOTHING and was burnt. As a side dish there was half a slice of flabby toast bread. In my opinion, the price of 4 euros was completely overpriced. I won't eat there anymore.

No. Worst bratwurst I've ever eaten. Taste-wise, it actually got zero stars. It came with a small piece of dry toast, and the mustard wasn't even from Monschau. I returned the sausage.

For my taste, far too expensive for such a small portion. 1 euro for ketchup? also way too expensive. But the most important thing is that it tastes good and unfortunately it doesn't have that either.

We were there on the weekend on Saturday June 22nd, 24th. The children and the two of us Adults wanted to eat fries, as I saw the prices for mayo and ketchup and the size of the little blob. My wife and I lost our appetite and the children's fries didn't even taste good. But because of the expensive 5-star restaurant I ate them, my conclusion was 🤮too expensive and not tasty.

A Krakauer or a Curry Wurst is just good. The sauce is excellent.

Went there for the first time today. We were thirsty and needed some refreshment. (Unfortunately) there wasn't a free table anywhere in the town center. We had already seen the little place as we walked towards the center and thought, oh come on then, it looked pretty nice as we walked past. We asked if we were allowed to drink something and were greeted very friendly with the answer: "Yes, of course, do you also need water for your dog?" We sat down on a bench next to a lush wild garlic bed to quench our thirst and were overwhelmed by the charm of the outdoor area. Very green and cozy. We were suddenly glad that we hadn't found a table on one of the narrow terraces and could instead relax in this quiet idyll. We will come back in 2 weeks and test the currywurst ;) thank you very much for the hospitality, it was a highlight of our Eifel trip.

An ideal beer garden with trees on the outskirts of Monschau, which could be used more. The fries were soggy yesterday. You should pay more attention to the fact that they are cross. In the summer they were 1a. Overpriced, majonese from the tube for 1 euro is outrageous.

We stopped by for a simple fries with mayk and curry sauce and it tasted good. You can sit outside under cover.

Delicious fries - currywurst! The food was very tasty and just right after a strenuous hike. The dude was very friendly and immediately provided my dog ​​with a bowl of water. The location is very cozy and a bit away from the hustle and bustle. I found the prices and portions to be absolutely appropriate. Always my pleasure!!!

The Mid. Eastern looking man with black hair who works here (I don't know his name, they should have labels) was very rude, cold and unfriendly. He kept laughing and chuckling at people for no apparent reason. Also, the food was made in a very unhygienic way and the "fork" was tiny and nowhere near good enough to eat the food properly. The table was very messy with tomato sauce (ketchup) and this strange brown stuff on this table which I don't know what it is. Also I think the Mid. Eastern looking man with the black hair who gave me the food touched it many times with his hands.

Tatsächlich war das Essen für die Verhältnisse in Monschau mit zusammen 10,50€ inkl Cola 0,25l noch quasi human. Trotzdem war es eine relativ kleine Portion. Aber was will man erwarten. Die Wurst war wirklich von guter Qualität. Hätte nur vielleicht Toiletten erwartet.

Betaalbare plek, mooie tuin, goede service en lekkere snacks.

Prachtige rustige groene locatie voor een lekkere traditionele snack en lokaal biertje! Het terras bevind zich in een tuin van een authentieke majestueuze 18e eeuwse villa, die zich vroeger aan 't rand van 't dorp bevond. De tuin is diepgerekt vol met volgroeide bomen en hoge struiken. De plek ademt een en al romantiek uit. Zin om te schommelen? Ook dat kan. Ideale plek mensen die van rust houden, spelende kinderen en mensen die van een koud biertje houden onder eeuwenoude bomen.

Prima als je haast hebt of even heel snel iets wilt eten, maar de friet is niet bijzonder en de worst ook niet. De jongens in de kraam waren wel vriendelijk.

The food was delectable. However I found myself heavily unsatisfied with the asking price of the food as well as the portions we were served. There are better places to go here in Monschau Germany if you are interested in bratwursts and friets.

Schnelles gutes Imbissessen. Man sitzt in einem Garten der nicht tip top gepflegt ist man kann sich wohlfühlen ohne große Ansprüche. Die Mülleimer stehen direkt neben den Tischen was das Ambiente nicht verbessert. Jedoch die hauseigene Senf Soße ist der Hammer

Great place to sit down and grab a quick bite of sausage of chips along with a cool refreshing drink. While the shack and accompanying tables are not in the heart of Monschau, they are still very well located to provide food and drink without being overwhelmed by the tourist crush of Monschau.
