In addition to the beautiful ambiance, the service was very good right from the start. Absolutely professional, yet not aloof, but attentive. The food was equally outstanding. Lovingly prepared seasonal and classic dishes, a blend of tradition and modernity. Vegetarians also have a good selection. The open kitchen makes the whole experience transparent and inspires trust. In addition to all this, the selection of wines and other beverages leaves nothing to be desired. We were thrilled!

Heerlijk gegeten en de bediening is heel.vriendelijk en ze hebben er vooral lol in. Heerlijke schitzel en je krijgt er zelfs 2. De ansere gerechten zagen er ook top uit. Goed eten voor een hele vriendelijke prijs

Amazing place to enjoy traditional German food. We took grilled pork knuckle and it was delicious. The service and atmosphere were also great. We will definitely come back when we are in this area again:) P.S. You can pay only with cash here, so make sure you have it with you.

Don't eat in the center of the tourist trap. Drive 1 minute from the center here. It is a spacious clean and fresh restaurant. Service is very good and the food is top notch. We enjoyed it!

Waren am 17.5. mit 3 Paaren nach einer Wanderung zum Mittagessen in der Olive. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch das empathische Personal. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar aber alle Gerichte waren geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt voll.

We were there at the weekend. It's a small, somewhat homespun, almost old-fashioned restaurant, but clean and tidy. Very tasty food, well-seasoned and plentiful. The staff are very attentive and friendly. So why only four stars? Payment is only accepted in cash. If you miss the small sign on the door because you're sitting outside, you might have a problem. Tip: A small note on the menu. Folks, it's 2025 and cash is still the only option??!! Anyone who thinks this is a scoundrel is a scoundrel.

No, not recommend The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was cozy enough. But the food… I was served a reheated steak, and it was very salty. Yes, you can eat here to survive—but if you’re looking to truly enjoy your meal and walk away thinking “Yes, that was a great dinner,” this isn’t the place. It’s also quite pricey for what it is. A glass of tap water for €3.20 felt over the top. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I was just at Subway in Monschau. Every company certainly wants such a friendly employee. Very accommodating and polite. You'll be happy to come back there at any time. Unfortunately I don't know the young man's name otherwise I would have mentioned him here. PS 5 star plus!!!!
