Sehr gemütliches Lokal mit klassisch deutscher Küche. Das in Monschau übliche Dreigestirn mit Schnitzel, Steak und Burger bleibt hier Gottseidank außen vor. Stattdessen gibt es gute Hausmannskost wie man sie heute kaum noch findet, man merkt das hier mit Herz gekocht wird. Auch mit dem Gemüse gibt man sich Mühe. Gut dass es das Lokal gibt.

I can really recommend this restaurant, the waiter/bartender was absolutely friendly and is really child friendly. The food was really excellent and absolutely delicious 🤤🤤🤤 we had a schnitzel and 2 citizens. All of them were absolutely delicious. The ambience was old, which I personally like, but somehow you couldn't spice it up a bit old-fashioned. As for the parking options, unfortunately there aren't that many and it's very confusing. But despite a recommendation from me, if you come by there and are hungry, please stop there and try it yourself.😄

Tourist-friendly is different; A main course must be ordered to go to the toilet. However, there is only one vegetarian and no vegan option. Ordering numerous appetizers is not enough. Cash only

I bought the delicious fig mustard again. I also try the blackcurrant mustard. We were advised by a nice, competent woman.

De schnitzel was zo droog als de Sahara en zo hard als de rocky mountains 🤮. De bediening had er weinig zin in en toen ik wilde betalen moest de eigenaar in de plaatselijke dorpskroeg gezocht worden

Absolutely average snack in a nice atmosphere. Both sausage and fries were solid, but nothing special. The service was nice and the price was reasonable.

For thrill-seekers I can only recommend Monschau mustard on a bed of Schnitzel! Warning, sensitive souls refrain!!
