The Toscanini restaurant in Cologne impresses with an excellent lunch offer: for a fair €15.80 you get a menu with a starter, main course and dessert (optionally espresso). I've been there three times and every time the food was delicious. The portions are well balanced. The quality of the food speaks for itself. The restaurant has always been full, which makes the atmosphere a bit busy. I would recommend making a reservation. The friendly service lifts your mood at lunchtime. An absolutely recommendable place for lunch in Cologne's Südstadt. Only the parking options are rather poor, but that's how it is in the whole district.

That used to be one of the best meals. Super tasty. The service is great, as the employees are all very courteous and nice. We all agreed that it wouldn't be the last time we ate in Haus Scholzen.

Certainly one of the best gyros in the city. The price-performance ratio is also good. The new store was also a success. Unfortunately, the waiting times are really extreme. 1 1/4 hours for two small gyros is intense. But I'm afraid I'll still come back because it's just too good not to eat. 🤤

Went in with a lot of expectations and was treated like dirt. We were laughed at when we entered the restaurant because of our clothing. The food was tasty, but the service was very, very bad. You could only order from the menu, which was not known beforehand.

It may seem like a very tourist-friendly, vegan-friendly, modern place, but it is not like that at all with its employees. They can make you work for days without a contract. You have to chase after the person in charge for days to get the contract that you deserve at the place you work. And unfortunately, even if they hire you, they won't pay you for your trial day. So you have to work for free for this place for a day.

Attached you can see almost €70 on the table. No decorations, no effort, the food was just slapped on top. For the price you expect a little more than that. In the end, the eye eats with it ;) Unfortunately, the taste isn't good either. Been there for the first and last time.

original vegan restaurant with a pub atmosphere. The food is vegan, but quite fatty and the fat no longer smelled completely fresh when we visited. Friendly service. High noise level!
