This restaurant is fantastic and child-friendly. The food is delicious, and the price-performance ratio is also very good. I highly recommend it; it's best to make a reservation in advance.

I really liked it. The staff was friendly and you can also sit outside - part of it is covered. There are toilets in the basement. There are also parking spaces - but the few available are quickly taken and the parking lot is very small.

We quickly got a free table and ordered two pasta dishes from the additional menu that was placed at our table. They were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and quick. We started with olives and pizza bread on the house. We'd be happy to come back.

Since we were staying at the hotel next door, we had dinner here, partly because of the good reviews. It doesn't look that appealing from the outside, but we received a friendly welcome and were shown into a pleasant atmosphere. Everyone was accommodating, the food was delicious, and the prices were really reasonable. For starters, we were served olives with pizza bread and two dips, along with homemade liqueur, all on the house. We were very satisfied overall. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yesterday, we had dinner at the Imperial Restaurant with 20 people. It was simply perfect! The end of our club outing couldn't have been better: fantastic food, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere. We'd already had very pleasant interaction beforehand. We'll definitely be back!

The owner called me homeless and threatened me with violence. I wasn't even a guest, I was just nearby, not even in the restaurant, just outside in the fresh air by the building next door, making a phone call. The owner repeatedly called me homeless, repeatedly spoke to me rudely, and when I told him to leave me alone because I was having a bad day, he reacted aggressively and threatened to beat me up, saying it was his restaurant and I shouldn't be in front of his restaurant with my dirty feet. (Just a short excerpt) No, I can't recommend this place!

Worst restaurant I have experienced throughout Europe. Unfriendly arrogant and unhelpful staff, especially the bar lady. Food very below average and over priced. Will never return or visit again even if forced to do so. According to menu prices meal was €30, yet bill provided and paid for was €60 without any explanation even after asking for clarity. Disgusting and VERY dissapointing!

Hello everyone The food was great, I had a pizza and my wife spagetti Bolognese, a small starter and of course a dessert. All dishes were top and super tasty. The service is super friendly and accommodating, they read your wishes from your forehead. We had a short conversation with 2 other people, they were both super happy with the food (steak). You feel comfortable here and can only recommend it. Make up your own mind. Keep it up, great work

Absolutely disappointing - never again! We were here today at the “Restaurant Imperial” and unfortunately had an extremely unpleasant experience. The owner has behaved very rudely and disrespectfully on several occasions - not only towards us, but also towards other guests. It's difficult to say whether alcohol was involved, but in any case the behavior was completely unacceptable. Such an appearance has absolutely no place in the catering industry. After all, you come to have a nice moment and not to feel uncomfortable or even insulted. For the money you spend here – you can definitely eat better and, above all, be treated friendlier. We will definitely not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of other places where hospitality is still taken seriously.

Absolut enttäuschend – nie wieder! Wir waren heute hier im „Restaurant Imperial“ und mussten leider eine extrem unangenehme Erfahrung machen. Der Inhaber hat sich mehrfach sehr unverschämt und respektlos verhalten – und das nicht nur uns gegenüber, sondern auch zu anderen Gästen. Ob dabei Alkohol im Spiel war, lässt sich schwer sagen, aber das Verhalten war in jedem Fall völlig inakzeptabel. So ein Auftreten hat in der Gastronomie absolut nichts verloren. Man kommt schließlich, um einen schönen Moment zu haben und nicht, um sich unwohl oder gar beleidigt zu fühlen. Für das Geld, das man hier lässt – kann man definitiv besser essen gehen und vor allem freundlicher behandelt werden. Wir werden dieses Restaurant auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen. Es gibt genug andere Orte, an denen Gastfreundschaft noch ernst genommen wird.

I especially find the last reviews a disgrace because we were sitting at the table next to us and, apart from the tone, the appearance and behavior was not good at all, the waiters were insulting us when we went out and then, after such a cheeky appearance, we left a bad review with 3 different accounts. I would recommend this restaurant 100%. In this restaurant you can find a wide variety of different pasta, pizza and much more. There is something for everyone here (whether children, fish lovers or people who like spicy food). It is also important to mention that there is a really large selection of fish dishes. The food tastes very tasty and it is clear that the chefs know their job and spices perfectly. I can especially recommend the Inferno Pizza for people who like spicy food. It is also important to mention that the price-performance ratio here is really very positive. The food is really cheap and the portion sizes are perfect. It should also be emphasized that ingredients that are ordered from a pizza, for example, are deducted from the total price. The service is also really very friendly and you won't just be forgotten here, as is usual in some other restaurants. There are also a few free little things to eat here.

A visit I definitely regret. After eating I felt really bad physically - severe stomach problems like I've hardly ever experienced before. The taste of the whole thing was already questionable, but above all the food didn't seem fresh and didn't seem trustworthy at all. What topped the whole thing was the way the owner dealt with guests. Instead of showing understanding or responding professionally, I was treated with a mixture of arrogance and disrespect. Not a shred of apology or insight. From my point of view: a place that is better avoided - both because of the quality and because of the way you are treated there.

I really loved my visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the service: I ordered the (really very tasty) Pizza Inferno (very spicy) without anchovies, and 60 cents were deducted from the bill for the anchovies I had ordered (so the bill was cheaper). I have never experienced anything like this in any restaurant. This shows how fair and customer-oriented the work is here. The pizza itself was really tasty - you don't get it ready, but with a pizza roller for cutting and 3 different spices as well as parmesan cheese. With the different spices you get, the spiciness of the pizza can be adjusted to suit your personal preferences. This surprised me very positively, as it gave you the option to adjust the pizza and decide how spicy you want the pizza to be. As a small gift, there were two aperitivi as well as olives and small rolls with dips on the house at the beginning, which I found to be a very nice gesture. In terms of price, the restaurant is also totally reasonable and I can't complain. The fact that the anchovies are deducted from the bill shows how customer-oriented the prices are here. All in all, the evening was a success and I'm already looking forward to my next visit there.

I happened to be here in the horrible hotel next door and didn't have the energy to look for anything. OK then just a standard pizza... But we were missing...great appetizers, wonderful pasta and great meat. House wine totally ok. Very attentive service! A really good Italian. Who would have thought. I can only recommend this restaurant. We spent a great evening there. Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long and always felt well looked after. Always friendly and accommodating. The different dishes were served at the same time so that everyone could start eating at the same time. I had the spaghetti carbonara. I haven't eaten them this well in a long time. For dessert I can recommend the mini panna cotta with strawberry topping. A dream! Everything is worth its price and the prices here are really quite affordable. After we moved north, we always went back to Imperial to eat when we visited Cologne. This was also the case last Wednesday during our carnival stay. A warm reunion with Maria and Delio and very tasty pasta and pizza dishes. Our Schleswig companions and my sister also felt comfortable and enjoyed it very much.

We have been loyal guests for over 25 years and have never really had anything to complain about 😉 The food is terrific, no matter what, it is always of very good quality and tastes great. The service from the Martino family leaves nothing to be desired. Despite our move, we always enjoy coming back and are happy to travel 35 km.

Cozy rustic restaurant... Food was great and also the servers were very friendly, welcoming. We ordered the lasagna with shrimps and spinach. It was awesome but we liked the pizza more. We ordered pizza with shrimps and artichokes. It was delicious. This was our second time and first time was also good. The atmosphere was also cozy, family oriented.

That was a lovely evening yesterday. The seating was really nice, even though it was full. The food was really great with the pasta with chanterelles. The Frutti de Mare pizza had good toppings, but the base was totally soft and wobbly. That can happen. Great ambience and value for money. The dessert, tiramisu, was really delicious... I'll come back when I'm in Cologne again on business. Great service friendly and helpful

Food was really good! Appetizer was very nice(homemade soup). Rumpsteak was really tender and juicy with a tasty grilled corn cob. And the tiramisu was delicious. All that for a really nice price! Nice and cozy atmosphere👌🏽 and the lady who helped us was soooo nice. Highly recommended.
