It’s quite a nice place with so many options of drinks and food! Also with decent prices. It’s really noisy but with a good vibe. I really like the fries.

I'm here almost every Thursday and have met wonderful people I wouldn't want to miss. I hope the city of Cologne doesn't close this market. It would be one less place where you can enjoy Cologne's city life without paying an entrance fee.

Always a great opportunity to meet some nice people over delicious drinks and plenty of snacks from other countries. It's an absolute institution on warm summer evenings that fall on a Thursday.

June 12, 2025: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience that day. My comment has nothing to do with the event itself, but with a food stand. We were treated very rudely by an employee at the Eli's Deli stand—to put it mildly. We only needed a chair for a moment because someone was having circulatory problems. When this employee saw that we were using one of their chairs without having ordered anything from them, arguments began. And we were finally dismissed with the words, "You can go to hell." Even though I consider that he might have been having a bad day, I cannot tolerate such behavior. Although... with other guests, he was very businesslike and popped the champagne corks loudly and clearly. It's just a shame that he forgot to pick them up from the floor."

Update: You can get good food here every Thursday. I usually go here after work and usually order takeaway. The prices are cheap and there are now more options for vegans. I buy vegan food here for on the go, or for a work break when I'm in Cologne. Good and cheap quality.

The dumpling stand is an absolute recommendation!

Discovered here on a short visit. Everything we ate was delicious. There are also toilets here.

Maybe you should write that it doesn't take place on public holidays. But it says EVERY Thursday everywhere. It's annoying when you go there for free!

I've been going to Cantina la Doña on Rudolfplatz every Thursday for 7 years, no matter what the weather is, snow, rain or storm. I am very very satisfied with the service, the staff, the food, the very good wine selection and the general ambience. I would recommend everyone to visit Cantina la doña on Thursdays at Rudolfplatz. In my opinion, everyone is welcome there, the prices and the good atmosphere there are simply unbeatable. That's why it was long overdue to give a good review, but better late than never. Concept not thought through. Cologne way of life and friendliness are out of place here. Especially with the provider “Cantina La Dona”. All stalls reserve tables and reference is made to regular guests. Openness to new customers doesn't seem necessary.

The market is great! After work you can meet up with friends here, enjoy lots of great food and relax after work. Whether the stand operators or the market staff, EVERYONE is always friendly and helpful. Keep it up :)

It's a great idea and really a nice place to meet and eat! However, there are no toilets. Unfortunately, this is a big disadvantage for us.

Sehr schöner Markt, mit einer tollen Auswahl an leckeren Speisen.

Nice outdoor area with different foodtrucks. Offering variable foods and drinks.

Ein schöner Feierabendmarkt mit leckeren Streetfoodständen. Vegan und mit Fleischprodukten. Hier kann man gut mit Freunden den Donnerstag bei leckeren Kleinigkeiten ausklingen lassen. Auch Wein und Bier kann man hier trinken und sich gemütlich an Tische setzen. In Zeiten von Corona mit Abstand und viel Platz zwischen den Ständen.

Habe den meet and eat Markt schon oft besucht: Pizza, Pasta, Wraps, Churros und noch viel mehr sind zu entdecken! Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und eine Top Location am Rudolfplatz. Daumen hoch!

Super große Auswahl, tolle Atmosphäre. Die Preise sind ein bisschen höher aber die Menschen dafür sehr nett! Ziemlich gut gefüllt aber noch nicht überlaufen. Werde schauen, dass ich da häufiger hin gehe!
