5 stars – My favorite restaurant!
I'm at PESCALETTA almost every lunchtime and it always feels like a little vacation. Whether lunch or private celebrations - I have hosted several parties here and have been thrilled every time. The service is warm and attentive, the food is always fresh, creative and incredibly tasty. The location also impresses with its special charm - stylish, cozy and furnished with attention to detail. For me, PESCALETTA is simply unique and completely perfect!
Unfortunately it didn't convince us.
The portion of Costolette corte Brassate (Dry Age Short Ribs) was quite large, but unfortunately the meat was extremely dry and could not be cut with a normal knife.
The portion then went back to the kitchen and I chose Saltimbocca as an alternative. The taste was good, but unfortunately this meat was also very dry. My neighbor at the table also thought so, as he had the same thing on his plate.
In this price category I would have expected significantly better quality.
The food was excellent, and everything was done to ensure we felt welcome. The service was exceptional as well—providing a very pleasant and special experience. I highly recommend it.
The burgers are good. But the meals aren't exactly cheap. I wish I could get the burger with a specific degree of doneness (e.g., medium), like in the US.
Unfortunately, this isn't the best pizza in Kassel.
The pizza was very oily, very salty, and the dough didn't taste particularly good.
It was more like snack food, and unfortunately, the price isn't right.
Sunday lunchtime, we were out on our bikes and it was really busy here.
Food and drinks are ordered and paid for inside, but brought to the table. Service was super nice and accommodating.
The free WiFi is also worth mentioning, as reception with Telekom mobile is rather difficult.
Addendum:
The portions are still good, but personally I just miss a little more sauce in the noodles.
When I asked, I was given a small bowl, but it wasn't nearly enough.

We'll come over at the start of the season and then we can talk.
