Unfortunately, this isn't the best pizza in Kassel. The pizza was very oily, very salty, and the dough didn't taste particularly good. It was more like snack food, and unfortunately, the price isn't right.

The pizza tastes great! I can only recommend it.

I've already tried a few restaurants and pizzerias in Kassel, but so far I haven't liked any of them as much as the Pizzeria Bologna! When you come in, you are greeted very nicely and the pizzas (even if they are different sizes than the ones you are familiar with) are super tasty and definitely worth the money! I can only recommend it!

4-8 years ago I went to this veteran of the Kassel pizza shops regularly after school or during my lunch break. Today I come in again and am recognized by the owner! The pizza tastes like childhood. Has an ultra thin base and is also well priced. I had a really good time.

I've known Hassan for a long time and was a regular in his old, small shop, and later with great enthusiasm in the new one on Stair Street - unfortunately, over time I developed a wheat intolerance and couldn't eat pizza at Hassan's for a long time, which made me very sad, especially because I love pizza - but especially his!! Came here after reading the reviews. We ordered a few pizzas as we were a group. All pizzas were decent - not sure I would say it's best as other reviews but was a good pizza. We also ordered a pasta which was ok. Considering how much we ordered it came in at a reasonable price. The medium pizza was a decent enough size to fill you up for lunch. Worth visiting if your in the area and want a nice pizza.

Spaghetti frutti di mare is also highly recommended (cooked with love that you can taste). Update: After 4 months the food is still just as GOOD as the last time I visited. Hassan is the best, friendly, attentive and just a great guy. Even in the third year, it's simply a place to feel good. We like to come back again and again. Drive 2 hours for it.

If you want to eat the best pizza in Kassel, you can't miss the Pizzeria Bologna on Stair Street. The taste is simply unbeatable when combined with Picolo. Here the owner, who is very correct, is also the baker and it is therefore of high quality. Always my pleasure. Update: Unfortunately, I have to say that the waiting times are lengthening, at the expense of the customer. Another assistant would be needed here. One person for a restaurant is simply not enough staff, so costs are saved at the expense of the customers.

Hassan is an institution in the city. I think almost everyone in Kassel knows him and has the taste of his pizzas on their tongue. Was there again today for years and was happy that it still tasted just as delicious. Just a decent pizza, no frills. Keep it up ❤️

Today I'm just writing this review, which I would have wanted to write in July 2024 and which the owner of the Pizzeria Bologna, Hasan, is certainly no longer expecting. Nevertheless, I definitely didn't want to miss out on fulfilling my promise to Hasan, as I find a visit to his restaurant to be absolutely worth mentioning and recommendable. I come from Heidelberg, was in Kassel for three days in the summer of 2024 for a trade fair and, while looking for a good restaurant near the hotel, I accidentally discovered Hasan's Pizzeria Bologna on Stair Street. The first impression surprised me positively, as there seemed to be a noticeably happy, constant atmosphere there. From the moment they first entered the restaurant, Hasan entertained his guests in such a friendly, familiar and personal way that I, as a guest, immediately got the feeling that he was particularly happy about every single customer - that immediately made the decision for me , where I will spend my evening. I immediately felt warmly welcomed, was given an uncomplicated first name and was advised what he thought I would like best in his restaurant, since I was still undecided about what I would eat. The consultation had a special entertainment value, and from then on I was just laughing. While I was preparing my dish, he talked to me, was interested in what I was doing here in Kassel, where I came from, and thus made the (short) waiting time for my food almost unnoticed. The food was very tasty, the price-performance ratio was great and I felt extremely entertained by the funny conversations between Hasan and his guests, which was great for me because it somehow felt like I had funny company while eating. I originally wanted to try out other restaurants in Kassel during my stay, but I enjoyed it so much and enjoyed it so much that I didn't have to think twice about where to go the next evening. Again it was delicious, great value for money and entertaining like the night before. I was also recommended something completely different from the menu, even though I wanted to eat the same thing as the day before. “No, today you’re eating something different!” – Laaach! :)) The next day I was planning to leave and shortly before that I strolled up the stairway again. As soon as I was in sight of the restaurant, Hasan, who was serving outside, spotted me, waved happily and called out my first name and "Greetings, come here, then you can fortify yourself again before you drive back to Heidelberg!" What can I say... that I ate there three days in a row (!), even though I had originally planned to try other restaurants as well. Hamed is present but never intrusive. He is a great host who loves his job and his restaurant, always communicates cheerfully across the room and has an open ear for every guest. So I drove back home in the early afternoon full of pasta and will definitely come back to him if I have anything to do in Kassel again. If you are looking for good Italian food in a family-friendly environment, Pizzeria Bologna is the right place for you. We were at Bologna on 2 out of 3 evenings. It is a self-service pizzeria in the middle of Germany's oldest pedestrian zone, Stair Street. Super friendly owner in his one-man shop. The pizzas were super tasty. Fresh produce is used here. Everything excellent. I also gave 5 stars for service even though it is self-service. He is such a kind soul.

We have been eating at Hasan's for 30 years and he has never disappointed us. Very tasty food and friendly staff. I can especially recommend the big 4 with onions and the Insalata Mista!

The sauce tasted like a ready-made sauce and was diluted with water. Dry herbs were used, fresh ingredients would have been better. The service wasn't there at all, we had to order our own food and bring it to the table.

One of the best pizzas in Kassel are served here. Not quite Italian or Neapolitan, but still pretty good. The preparation is usually done personally by Hasan and after a while he knows his own preferences. The ambience is underwhelming and everything is self-service. However, the whole thing is simply cultural property and you should have been here at least once. I've enjoyed coming here for years and can only recommend it.

I ordered a large pizza. half spinach half tuna. When I settled the bill, the boss charged me for 2 large pizzas, a whole spinach pizza and a whole tuna pizza. The best pizza in Kassel is here. Here we work and cook with love. You can feel it and taste it. The pizza is not heavy on the stomach and every bite is a pleasure. You can notice the attention to detail in every meal. The owner is always on site, serving everyone with a personal touch and a smile. Where do you find that these days? The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. Comparable pizzas cost 3-5 euros more in other stores and that without the high quality standard. I absolutely cannot understand why some people give this one star. Some people probably just have a problem with themselves.
