It's a real shame – running out of rice at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night is truly disappointing. Especially at this time of night, you expect the basic ingredients to still be available.

A very good place for fresh sushi, with lots of variety and a great place to try different (new) types of sushi. A great place to go out to eat with a group of friends and spend a nice evening. The cocktails sometimes take a while to arrive, but the food always arrives quickly.

We got a table without a reservation. The manager and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, fresh, and highly recommended. It's a great all-you-can-eat option. Ordering is done via tablet, which takes a bit of getting used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's really good. You can always reorder every 20 minutes, and the food arrives very quickly.

We've been coming to this shop for years. Wang, the owner, is a lovely person. We called ahead to reserve a table, which wasn't absolutely necessary, but the place is packed in the evenings. The food is always top-notch, truly top-notch, or rather, sushi. At the end, we even got a free ice cream when we paid. Overall, tip-top, nothing to complain about, and the cleanliness is also top-notch 👍🏻 The price is also reasonable for sushi, and the quality of the products is very good 👍🏻 Definitely worth a visit!

You are greeted very friendly by the boss. Unfortunately, he explained to us far too quickly and hectically how ordering with the tablets works. The first round came, but unfortunately after the second bite you already felt too full. The duck, salmon and chicken were unfortunately too dry, as was the lamb. The grilled halibut tasted very strange. I couldn't eat it. On the whole you could eat the rest, but there are better sushi restaurants where you can walk out and not feel like you've been noodled. Everything is far too rich and rich with heavy mayonnaise creations. Unfortunately not mine.🤷‍♀️

The food was really incredibly tasty. Especially the own creations, which are probably only available there in Kassel. The ambience was very nice and you don't notice anything from the main street. And the service was not only very friendly, but also made you laugh with charm. Really a great restaurant. Which I would like to visit again.

I had high expectations based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately the experience wasn't entirely convincing. Food: The sushi was OK but not exceptional. The quality of the ingredients was solid, but for the price I would have liked a little more freshness and sophistication. The preparation seemed a bit careless and the taste was nothing special. Sometimes the sushi only tastes like the sauce because there is too much sauce on it. Price-performance: Unfortunately quite expensive for what is offered. There are definitely better sushi shops in this price range. Conclusion: Not a bad restaurant, but the high expectations were not quite met. If you're looking for exceptional sushi, you might not get your money's worth here.

We traveled a lot. In Germany we tend to eat less sushi. We have visited this restaurant several times. The sushi is always fresh, well prepared and very good. The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The guest is the king here! Thank you very much, a great experience every time! Unreservedly recommended! Price/performance is right!

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get to this restaurant even though we really wanted to and it didn't bother me. The construction site indicated that it was working, we arrived and through the window it was clear that all the tables were empty and there were no people, but the door was closed even though the lights were on! We came through 3 times and we were told that there were no seats in the restaurant, there were a lot of people 😅😅😅 And we put it right in front of the door and see that it is empty... Honestly, this behavior was not very clear, we were very upset that the staff was lying.

We ate there today with a reservation, as it says everywhere. It was our first time there and we were really excited, and we weren't disappointed. It was absolutely fantastic. We received a very friendly welcome, the system was explained, and then we ordered. We were sooooo impressed. It tasted indescribably delicious, everything was super fresh, simply fantastic, and highly recommended. We didn't have to wait long because we called ahead and reserved a table. Unfortunately, I only took two photos. We ate a lot more, but it was so delicious that we ate it all up quickly 😊

We went to Jamakii for the all you can eat shushi. Everything tasted very tasty and fresh. The staff was very nice and personable. The restaurant had a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

We've definitely been here for the 10th time and won't go anywhere else. The food is really excellent. But what sets the store apart is its service. The operator is very accommodating and funny. The small shop has charm and cannot be compared to other shops in Kassel.

Beautiful little Asian shop. Boss is really funny, you just have to love him. If you're a little hungry, there's a la carte and if you're really hungry, you have the option of taking the all-you-can-eat option. We found it really tasty and we just felt comfortable. The food, especially the sushi, was once again sensational, all the dishes were brought to the table hot, and the boss was, as always, in a very good mood. When you enter the restaurant it seems very dark, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying Kassel's best sushi 😍

It's lovely, i have gone many times there with friends and family, anytime i make a new friend i try to introduce them to this place. The owner is so fun and wholesome. And all the servers are nice. The fact that its a sushi buffet plus those chef specialties, they are sooo good and tasty! I'll always recommend this place and it's been my favourite place to go to. Good day everybody, We ate at Jamakii today. The service was good, especially the boss was in a good mood and funny. The food came quickly and the ambience was also quite ok. Unfortunately, let's get to the most important part, the food: Unfortunately the food wasn't good for us... Why ? The sushi was cold and wet. Unfortunately we only ordered 2 rounds. The edamame were floating in water and were undercooked. They were also cold. Unfortunately the salmon didn't appeal to us either because it tasted very old... Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the money.

We ate at Jamakii Sushi over the weekend and had a really pleasant visit. The “all you can eat” concept works very well because you can easily order via tablet. The selection is diverse, so there is something for everyone. What is particularly noteworthy is how quickly the food is prepared and brought to the table - we really liked that. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and interesting. The price is also absolutely right, especially for the quality and variety on offer. An important note: Unfortunately, spontaneous visits are not possible - you must make a reservation in advance! Overall, a good restaurant that we would happily recommend to sushi lovers!

The service was very good. Very nice and friendly. You order sushi using a tablet and it's there quickly. The atmosphere is OK, unfortunately the lamps in our room flickered, which was annoying and the table was not 100% clean. Unfortunately, the taste of the sushi is disappointing. The selection of standard sushi is limited. There was no simple maki with salmon, shrimp or tuna. There is special sushi with lots of sauce for this. It seemed to us that each of these sushis had the same filling, therefore boring. In addition, the sauces are very filling, so with 25€ all you can eat you get full relatively quickly, but you haven't eaten much (in quantity and variety). For this reason 3 out of 5

Is there no longer a lunch buffet?

I ate rice with chicken in the restaurant, but unfortunately the taste gave me the feeling of being in a snack bar rather than a restaurant. Price-performance was okay. Unfortunately the sushi rice was out, so I couldn't try it. Personally, I wouldn't come back a second time, I didn't like the whole thing.

I ordered sushi from Jamakii for my birthday. I received four large, lovingly prepared sushi platters and everything tasted very good. We were very impressed and will eat sushi here more often in the future. Highlight: Although "Onigiri" is not offered, onigiri was specially prepared for me at my request. Service TOP! I am very satisfied and thank you very much for the great experience with the sushi.

So unbelievable that I have to tell you... We were in the restaurant with a larger group in February. Yesterday I was there again. The boss sees me, goes to the cash register and gives me €25. I was completely confused. He then said he had overcharged one person the last time we sat at table so and so.. 😱 So awesome! That was half a year ago!! You will always receive a very warm welcome here. The sushi may not be the best in Kassel, but it's still delicious. There are many variations and also fried foods etc. The owner is super friendly and, as I now know, very honest. Be sure to try the sesame balls!

For the price/performance ratio for all you can eat it was okay. Rounded up to €25 per person without drinks. Ordering is done via a tray. If we understood correctly, two people can make 4 rounds of 10 orders. After placing an order you have to wait 20 minutes until you can send the next order. We're both good eaters and you'll get full from what's offered there. For people like my husband, who is not a sushi fan, there is also a good selection of meat that you can order. The meat ranged from OK to delicious. What bothered me a bit was that most of the sushi was flamed. I would have preferred raw fish. The sushi wasn't particularly flavorful either and I was rather disappointed in terms of taste. If you want good sushi you should go somewhere else.

From the outside the restaurant looks inconspicuous and the furniture also looks a bit worn. However, the food was excellent. Only all-you-can-eat was offered. You can choose whatever you like to your heart's content. Orders are placed using the tablet on display. The order goes straight to the kitchen. Five dishes per person are always freshly prepared and then you can order again. The taste was great. Absolutely recommended!

All in all okay. The boss is really friendly and accommodating. However, the waitress was silent and sometimes mixed up orders. Overall, the quality is rather mediocre and the sushi is sometimes too warm. We also didn't find it so tasty that the order receipts are placed directly on the food before it is served. Overall, more mass instead of class. But the price is completely okay.

The food and the staff were super nice and considering it was so busy, the food came really quickly :) Some of the sushi was very fattening (from the sauce) you have to like it. We still found it very tasty. (I'm a vegetarian and there was enough choice for me, I particularly liked that)

Given the quantity, the price is more than fair and you will definitely get full and if you are not full you should see a doctor. I think I've been there 5 times and I have to say that the owner family is very friendly and the manager/main waiter pushes their limits every time to delight the guests. Keep it up!
