I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jamaki Sushi Restaurant and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the quality of the food to the excellent service - everything was first class. The sushi creations at Jamaki are simply incomparable. Every bite was a pleasure, the freshness of the ingredients was clearly noticeable. The creative rolls, like the Jamaki special roll, were also a real taste experience. **Service:** The service at Jamaki was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive and always available without being intrusive. Our orders were taken and served quickly and you could tell that the team was well organized and enjoyed their work. Ambiance The restaurant itself is stylishly decorated and offers a cozy, but at the same time modern atmosphere. The subtle lighting and the tasteful decoration make you immediately feel at home. Ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Price-performance ratio: For the quality offered, I think the prices at Jamaki are absolutely reasonable. You not only get first-class sushi here, but also an overall package that makes every visit a special experience. Overall, I highly recommend Jamaki Sushi Restaurant. In short, it's super tasty, always looks good and it's just fun to eat here. Absolute recommendation. The longer version now follows: I had never really gotten into sushi, I had tried it from time to time, but it never really convinced me. Until I tried sushi at the fish market in Nagoya in Japan in 2019. Here it was all about me, here there were worlds in between. Back in Germany I tried sushi everywhere in Kassel and after Japan I just couldn't get it anymore. I had given up eating sushi and was saving for the next vacation in Japan to get the high quality taste again. Then a colleague asked me about jamakii; I had never heard of the restaurant before. We were then on our way to jamakii, I wasn't expecting anything due to my previous disappointments. I take the first bite and find myself straight back in Japan... A poem. Since then, I have planned to visit Jamakii with my colleagues once a month. We've been doing this for 4 months now and I've already been here 7 times. Never disappoints, always incredibly tasty and for the unbeatable price of €25.90 for ALL YOU CAN EAT. I really don't know how the boss can make these prices possible, but I enjoy every bite :) Many thanks to the owner for this great restaurant and the feeling. I can warmly recommend that.

Always worth a visit! Super tasty and fresh sushi. Now with the baby: super sweet, we were put in the quiet area, where he left all the tables free and turned the music down. We felt very comfortable.

The food is very tasty and the all-you-can-eat offer is good value for money. The service is usually very nice and you don't have to wait too long for your food. I will gladly come again.

Our absolute favorite sushi! We only ever come here because we think it has the best sushi! The variations are diverse and the sauces are so delicious. Everything is always freshly prepared. We always get our favorite place and Mr. Wang always comes personally and always asks if everything is okay!

I've been eating there for a long time now and I have to say that I've never had such good sushi anywhere else. It's always an experience and the boss is very nice😊

The place is dirty and the hygiene is questionable. The food comes very slowly and in very small quantities. Fish doesn't look fresh at all. Card payment is not possible when ordering via iPads. I wouldn't recommend it and don't understand the good reviews

My girlfriend and I went to eat here on our stopover in Kassel. The atmosphere was really nice and harmonious. The service was super friendly and personable. Food was ordered via tablet and arrived after a few minutes. The food really tasted very good, the size of the dishes wasn't a problem since it was all you can eat anyway. My girlfriend and I can really recommend this restaurant. Just a little warning, it's easy to overeat.

The delivery time is not long, even though the restaurant was completely booked. I would recommend reserving space. The owner is so funny and full of energy. I like to eat sushi often and quality is very important to me. Normally all-you-can-eat is not my cup of tea, as the quantity often means compromises are made on quality. But not at Jamakii! The sushi is incredibly tasty and always fresh. I've been there a few times now. The owner is extremely friendly and the service is very courteous and reliable, even when there is a lot of traffic. For me, Jamakii in the corner of Kassel is the best sushi restaurant. The selection is large and the prices are very good. The own creations are something different to the usually dreary sushi everyday life. I always enjoy coming back. The only (negative) point is that there is no option to pay by card. But I think you can completely ignore that.

My experience with Jamakii Sushi&Grill was mixed. On my first visit I was quite interested in the variety of offerings and the presentation of the dishes. However, I was no longer so convinced on the second visit. A clear point of criticism is hygiene. It could definitely be cleaner. This is especially important in a restaurant that serves raw foods like sushi. There was also the problem that it wasn't clear on the plate which order was which dish. This caused confusion and inconvenience. Another negative aspect was that the flambéed varieties tasted like gas. This significantly affected the enjoyment and left an unpleasant aftertaste. All in all, I wasn't as impressed with Jamakii Sushi&Grill on my second visit as I was the first time. Improvements in cleanliness, presentation of dishes and taste quality are urgently needed to win me back as a satisfied customer.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The service is great, you get a great explanation when ordering via tablet, the atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. And of course the most important thing: the food is super delicious!

The restaurant is small and very nice to look at. The owner was in a great mood and was very friendly despite the busyness and stress. He explained everything to us very well with his open and funny manner and was very knowledgeable Made an effort in dealing with customers. The food is very tasty and there is something for everyone. From the outside it doesn't look inviting. Unfortunately, the winter garden is very cold and could be brought up to temperature beforehand. Not the best quality and the labeling is unfortunately poor for allergy sufferers! But at a certain time, the food that was ordered rarely arrives or in double quantity. The small, charming restaurant (family business) stands out thanks to the super friendly owner. The principle: One tablet per table from which you can order 20 dishes per round. Limited to 4 rounds, it can easily feed 4 people (perhaps 5-6 rounds would be a little nicer if you come with a larger group). We like the food and would rate it as “good” in terms of quality. But there are certainly others who say that it could perhaps be improved in one place or another. The ambience is nice and matches the food (a few seats are quite tight, it would certainly make you feel more comfortable if you took a closer look at the arrangement). We always enjoy coming here. :)

For me, Jamakii Sushi&Grill is the best all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Kassel! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very authentic and pleasant. The boss is absolutely amazing, a super friendly and open-minded person. The sushi are really tasty and varied! No other restaurant that I know of has such a large selection. Ordering is done via tablet and is simple; the boss also explains it to each group. I'm also absolutely thrilled with the service, there wasn't anything missing in any round and the food was on the table quickly. We will definitely visit the restaurant again :) keep it up!

Der Japaner auf Speed ist ein Besuch wert :) Er ist super witzig und man hat ständig was zu lachen. Die Speisen sind mit Standart Soßen wie thousand Islands etc verziert und Billiger Lachs aus dem Aldi. Ideen sind super aber kein Geschmack und der Reis war totale matsche. Der Servietten Mann hatte die Ruhe weg und die Kinder sind gute Arbeitstiere.

Gute Auswahl, gute Specials, lustiger Chef. Alles in allem immer wieder ein Besuch wert.

Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und obwohl es besonders am Anfang noch relativ voll war, nicht zu laut. Wir haben den Abend dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder! :)

Süßer Sushi laden mit ausgezeichnetem essen und Service. Das Essen kommt schnell schmeckt gut und ist frisch. Leider hat das Licht geflackert und der Einrichtungsstil sagt mir nicht zu, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Man kann mit dem Tablet alle 20 min bestellen es gibt auch Sets von 6 rollen. Ich bin Vegetarier und es gab trotzdem eine riesen Auswahl. Das Buffet kostet 23.50 man kann soviel essen wie man möchte. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wie Sie sagte wir gehen Sushi essen dachte ich nur oh mein Gott ich war begeistert Geschmacklich sehr gut keine langen Wartezeit und sehr freundliches Personal ich denke da waren wir nicht das letzte Mal.

Sehr lecker 🤤 und gern wieder. Wir taten uns altersbedingt etwas schwer mit dem Bestellsystem aber es gefällt uns gut, so nach und nach noch was aussuchen zu können. Wir waren bei Tageslicht im Nebenraum. Da ist optisch noch Luft nach oben. Allerdings unterhielten wir uns länger mit dem Chef und wir verstehen, dass die Personalsituation wie überall manches nicht mehr zulässt. Das Essen war top. Empfehlenswert!

Mit Abstand das beste Sushi Lokal in Kassel ! Wir sind seit vielen Jahren Stammkunden und gehen regelmäßig hier essen. Qualität und Essen sind unschlagbar. Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich! Man kann sich bei ihnen einfach nur wohlfühlen.

Sushi und Gegrilltes sehr lecker und frisch. Bestellt wird per Tablet. Personal sehr freundlich. Leider nur Barzahlung möglich. Für einen Parkplatz muss man halt suchen in der Gegend. Sonst zu empfehlen!

Zum Ausgehen ist es eine sehr schöne Location. Die Sushis waren sehr lecker. Die haben auch sehr viel Auswahl, die andere es nicht haben. Man bestellt es über Tablett und wird nie von dem Personal gestört. Einige Bestellungen sind nicht angekommen, war aber nicht schlimm, weil man schnell satt wird. Das Eis war sooo lecker. Ich würde euch schwarzer Sesam und grüner Tee Eis empfehlen. Die gegrillter Gemüseteller und Schokokuchen waren sehr enttäuschend. Trotzdem alles zusammen betrachtet, würde ich diese Location weiterempfehlen.

Das unscheinbare Lokal ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Ganz großes Lob an den Chef. Wir kommen aufjedenfall bald wieder.

Wahnsinnig gutes Sushi. Auf der Durchreise auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Unscheinbar von außen, aber wie sagt man so schön: "Auf die inneren Werte kommt es an!". Ich habe schon einiges an Sushi gesehen und auch probiert. Allerdings ist das hier gebotene Sushi auf eine sehr hochwertigen Level und sucht sicher seines Gleichen. Wir würden sehr nett begrüßt und es war eine Freude hier essen zu dürfen. Wir kommen wieder, versprochen!!!!

Wir wurden vom Inhaber sehr freundlich begrüßt und einen Platz gezeigt. Es gab heute Buffet. Er erklärte uns, wie die Bestellung per Tablet funktioniert. Bald kam auch die ersten Speisen. Sie wurden gebracht, sobald sie fertig waren. Es schmeckte relativ gut. Es gab jedoch keine herausstechenden speziellen Geschmacksrichtungen – alles schmeckte uns irgendwie ähnlich. Wir bestellten später noch einmal. Die Garnelen auf den Spiessen waren leider etwas übergart (trocken und sehr fest). Es gab dann noch eine Runde Dessert (Gebackenes Eis, Eis mit grünen Tee, Eis mit schwarzem Sesam). Das war ganz gut. Auch den Service konnte man per Tablet bestellen. Sehr schön. Mit dem Service waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Essen hat jedoch eindeutig Luft nach oben.

The sushi was ok. If you order the sushi with the sauces, be careful. They also use just ketchup, that was a bit disappointing me. The biggest minus for us was that many orders are not arriving, what made us tired to order more. The desert was like thrown on the table and almost melted ice cream. And I understand hard work with less staffs, but it doesn’t mean it will be fine if the server always just throws the dishes that harshly on my table.

Jamakii sushi is awesome! I used to go to Yoyo sushi but the quality isn't good anymore:( Than I tried Jamakii with my family which surprised us a lot! More than 50 kinds of sushi will definitely fit your taste! The boss is so interesting and his jokes make us laugh all the time. Anyway, we love this restaurant and plan to visit there in few days.
