Wir waren spontan im Jamakii Sushi & Grill. Es war sehr lecker und der Service auch sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Schmeckt sehr lecker. Alles frisch. Wenn’s noch mehr crunchy Sushi geben würde wäre noch besser.

Wir waren im Jamakii Sushi&Grill in Kassel essen und bin wirklich begeistert. Sowohl der Service als auch das Essen waren auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Schon beim Betreten fühlt man sich willkommen – das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und kümmert sich schnell um alle Wünsche. Das Essen ist einfach top. Das Sushi ist frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und auch optisch sehr ansprechend. Besonders positiv fällt die große Auswahl auf – egal ob klassische Sushi-Variationen oder kreative Kombinationen, hier findet wirklich jeder etwas Passendes. Auch die Qualität der Zutaten überzeugt: Alles schmeckt frisch und hochwertig, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair. Ein rundum gelungenes Restaurant-Erlebnis. Wer gutes Sushi, tollen Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Wirklich einer der schlechtesten All you can eats in Kassel. Der Empfang war wirklich sehr nett, dafür auch einen Stern, aber der Rest war beschämend. Die “warmen” Gerichte waren einfach nur eiskalt und die Sushis bestanden nur aus Reis. Unsere Teller wurden nicht weg geräumt und wir mussten uns selber Platz machen auf dem Tisch. Das Ambient war nicht schön. Es war sehr sehr kalt und der Laden sieht sehr renovierungsbedürftig aus. Wir wollten direkt nach der 2ten Runde gehen, weil es wirklich keine schöne Erfahrung war.

Der einzige positive Punkt in diesem Restaurant waren die Begrüßung durch den Besitzer und das Mango-Eis. Die schlechte Beleuchtung, der unangenehme Geruch im Restaurant und der klebrige Boden sprechen nicht gerade für eine sorgfältige Hygiene. Sehr irritierend war gleich zu Beginn die Aussage des Besitzers: „Wenn Ihnen das Essen nicht gefällt, stellen Sie es einfach hier an den Rand, ich hole es dann ab.“ In anderen Restaurants ist so etwas eher unüblich – und ehrlich gesagt bestand bisher auch nie die Notwendigkeit, bestelltes Essen stehen zu lassen. Dieses Mal jedoch schon. Das panierte Hähnchen war komplett trocken, mit einer dicken, fettigen und bis zur Schwärze verbrannten Panade. Die Fischportionen im Sushi waren winzig. Der Reis war so verkocht, dass er seine Form nicht halten konnte. Die panierten Calamari waren innen noch roh, ebenso wie die Panade selbst – sie war noch flüssig. Der Kellner hat unser Essen mit den Händen berührt. Die Sushi-Auswahl auf dem Tablet war äußerst begrenzt. Die Wartezeit zwischen den Bestellrunden beträgt ganze 20 Minuten – wir haben unsere Bestellung aus der dritten Runde selbst nach 30 Minuten nicht erhalten. Das Schild am Eingang mit dem Hinweis „Nur Barzahlung“ spricht für sich. Grundsätzlich ist mir das egal, aber ein solcher Ansatz in der Gastronomie bei diesen Preisen wirkt extrem knauserig und verantwortungslos. Insgesamt war das die schlechteste Erfahrung, die ich je in Kassel gemacht habe.

Wir freuen uns immer darauf vorbei zu kommen und das All you can eat Angebot wahrzunehmen. Das Essen ist immer lecker, frisch und kommt schnell an den Tisch. Man fühlt sich willkommen und es wird versucht alles möglich zu machen. Für mich gibt es keinen besseren Sushi Laden in Kassel und Umgebung. 😍👍🏻

Das Essen ist wirklich eine 10/10. Aber es ist wirklich richtig kalt in dem Restaurant sodass man mit Jacke hier sitzen muss. Die Bedienung ist aber sehr nett.

Hatten für heute einen Tisch reserviert. Waren gerade unterwegs und haben angerufen das es wegen Schnee 15 min später wird. Da sagt er uns am Telefon das sie heute nicht geöffnet haben. Wir wären 25 km durch Schnee umsonst gefahren. Ich denke das wir in Zukunft auf einen Besuch dort verzichten werden.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, Der laden sieht im allgemeinen ganz angenehm aus, das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr nett. Nun kommt es zu dem wichtigeren Punkt, Geschmack, mir wurde teilweise übel, entweder weil ich den Geschmack nicht gewohnt bin, oder weil ich einfach schon viel besseres Sushi gegessen habe, auch in Kassel. Besonders die Fischsorten, wie Butterfisch und Lachs haben teilweise geschmeckt, als hätte man die Flambierung benutzt, um den Fisch frisch riechen zu lassen. Es schmeckte außerdem als wäre der Lachs eingefroren gewesen und man ihn entfroren hat. Trotzdem danke ich für ihre Bemühungen! Einen schönen Tag noch.

Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr herzlich, jedoch war das Essen nicht so erfreulich… Der Reis war matschig und nicht gut gekocht, teilweise hat auch das Fleisch seltsam geschmeckt als wäre es alt.

Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise und haben unser Date in diesem kleinen Laden verbracht. Unglaublich tolle Atmosphäre, ein sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter, der immer für einen kleinen Spaß zu haben ist (auch per du). Keine Kartenzahlung hier möglich (leider), ist aber sowohl am Laden, als auch auf der Website hinterlegt.

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr guter Service und Freundlichkeit stehen hier an erster Stelle! :) Wir waren Mega zufrieden, gerne jederzeit wieder !

The food was unfortunately very bad. The sushi tasted awful. The quality was poor, certainly not what we're used to. The miso soup was also unpleasant. It was very cold in the restaurant. We won't be coming back. What a waste of money.

This has absolutely nothing to do with sushi. The sushi at the Rewe deli counter looks better and is cheaper, too. Nothing is freshly prepared to order. It's all stale, refrigerated food. The rice is cold and mushy, the fish is low-quality and dried out. I hope nobody thinks they consider this sushi. But if you want to stuff yourself at a bargain price, this is the place for you. EDIT: Now that you mention bought reviews, I understand your ranking. P.S. You're a nice guy, but you should seriously rethink your business model. Best regards.

We went to Jamaki again after a long time. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly and attentive. The owner is also friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy coming back.

Our experience at Jamakii Sushi & Grill in Kassel was unfortunately extremely disappointing. The staff seemed rude and disrespectful. Even before we had finished our second course, our ordering iPad was abruptly taken from us. According to the system, you can order up to four courses. We felt pressured to eat faster or order less. We also had the impression that not all of our ordered dishes were served and that we were treated more like we were being rushed through our order than properly served. It was also noticeable that, in our opinion, other guests had their iPads taken away prematurely, which reinforced our impression that orders are generally handled very restrictively. What we found particularly strange was that the owners eventually called the police. From our perspective, this was because they thought we had eaten too much, even though we were only on our second course and clearly within the rules. The entire situation seemed completely excessive and inappropriate. Based on our personal experience, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

They are a disaster, never again!

I don't want to say anything wrong, but the place is closed 🤷‍♂️ We got off the A49 to make a stop... Update: The answer is only partially helpful - it's unacceptable to me that Google Maps shows opening hours of 12 pm to 8 pm on Sundays when everything is actually closed 🤷‍♂️ Maybe if we're in the area again, we'll try again and then change the review.

A very friendly welcome, followed by an explanation of how to use the tablet. My first time having sushi, and it was very good. I highly recommend it; the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

After four years, I gave it another chance, but unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The owner may be funny and nice, but that doesn't make up for the generally poor service and the food. Every sushi dish is smothered with some kind of sauce, there's no tradition, and the fried noodles and miso soup are a disaster. The servers don't say a word to you, and the pictures on the tablet don't match the dishes at all. My ice cream came with a plastic spoon covered in broken pieces of plastic. Everyone is incredibly forgetful and far too rushed. They don't accept card payments, so there are no receipts, which is also very suspicious. And all of this is ridiculously overpriced. Those people who rave about the sushi probably only compare it to the sushi from Rewe (a supermarket chain). The ambiance is quite nice.

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant. I've celebrated my birthday here several times and have never regretted it. The owner and the team are incredibly friendly and hardworking. I always love coming back.

It's a real shame – running out of rice at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night is truly disappointing. Especially at this time of night, you expect the basic ingredients to still be available.

A very good place for fresh sushi, with lots of variety and a great place to try different (new) types of sushi. A great place to go out to eat with a group of friends and spend a nice evening. The cocktails sometimes take a while to arrive, but the food always arrives quickly.

We got a table without a reservation. The manager and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, fresh, and highly recommended. It's a great all-you-can-eat option. Ordering is done via tablet, which takes a bit of getting used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's really good. You can always reorder every 20 minutes, and the food arrives very quickly.

We've been coming to this shop for years. Wang, the owner, is a lovely person. We called ahead to reserve a table, which wasn't absolutely necessary, but the place is packed in the evenings. The food is always top-notch, truly top-notch, or rather, sushi. At the end, we even got a free ice cream when we paid. Overall, tip-top, nothing to complain about, and the cleanliness is also top-notch 👍🏻 The price is also reasonable for sushi, and the quality of the products is very good 👍🏻 Definitely worth a visit!

You are greeted very friendly by the boss. Unfortunately, he explained to us far too quickly and hectically how ordering with the tablets works. The first round came, but unfortunately after the second bite you already felt too full. The duck, salmon and chicken were unfortunately too dry, as was the lamb. The grilled halibut tasted very strange. I couldn't eat it. On the whole you could eat the rest, but there are better sushi restaurants where you can walk out and not feel like you've been noodled. Everything is far too rich and rich with heavy mayonnaise creations. Unfortunately not mine.🤷‍♀️

The food was really incredibly tasty. Especially the own creations, which are probably only available there in Kassel. The ambience was very nice and you don't notice anything from the main street. And the service was not only very friendly, but also made you laugh with charm. Really a great restaurant. Which I would like to visit again.

I had high expectations based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately the experience wasn't entirely convincing. Food: The sushi was OK but not exceptional. The quality of the ingredients was solid, but for the price I would have liked a little more freshness and sophistication. The preparation seemed a bit careless and the taste was nothing special. Sometimes the sushi only tastes like the sauce because there is too much sauce on it. Price-performance: Unfortunately quite expensive for what is offered. There are definitely better sushi shops in this price range. Conclusion: Not a bad restaurant, but the high expectations were not quite met. If you're looking for exceptional sushi, you might not get your money's worth here.

We traveled a lot. In Germany we tend to eat less sushi. We have visited this restaurant several times. The sushi is always fresh, well prepared and very good. The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The guest is the king here! Thank you very much, a great experience every time! Unreservedly recommended! Price/performance is right!

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get to this restaurant even though we really wanted to and it didn't bother me. The construction site indicated that it was working, we arrived and through the window it was clear that all the tables were empty and there were no people, but the door was closed even though the lights were on! We came through 3 times and we were told that there were no seats in the restaurant, there were a lot of people 😅😅😅 And we put it right in front of the door and see that it is empty... Honestly, this behavior was not very clear, we were very upset that the staff was lying.

We ate there today with a reservation, as it says everywhere. It was our first time there and we were really excited, and we weren't disappointed. It was absolutely fantastic. We received a very friendly welcome, the system was explained, and then we ordered. We were sooooo impressed. It tasted indescribably delicious, everything was super fresh, simply fantastic, and highly recommended. We didn't have to wait long because we called ahead and reserved a table. Unfortunately, I only took two photos. We ate a lot more, but it was so delicious that we ate it all up quickly 😊
