Today we went to Sam's Thai, and our visit was a complete success. We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered and immediately felt welcome. I chose the green curry – creamy, perfectly seasoned, and wonderfully aromatic. You can immediately taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients used here. My daughter had breaded chicken with fried rice, lovingly served in a cute Mickey Mouse bowl. She was not only delighted with the taste, but also with the wonderful, child-friendly service – a wonderful detail that shows how much emphasis is placed on guest satisfaction. The service was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. Requests were immediately fulfilled, and we felt completely at home. In conclusion: A fantastic restaurant with outstanding food, warm service, and great attention to detail. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I highly recommend Sam's Thai in Frankfurt. The owner, Samir, is an incredibly warm and trustworthy person. He even gave me the key once so I could pray when the mosque across the street was closed. What kind of chef does that to their customers? No one. The food is always an absolute 10 out of 10. It's freshly prepared without additives and by authentic chefs from Vietnam. You can immediately taste the love that goes into the cooking. Plus, you can always have a great conversation with Samir; he takes time for his guests and creates a friendly atmosphere. Even if parking is a bit tight at the small shopping center, every visit is worthwhile. For me, there's no better place in Frankfurt for delicious, honest, and authentic food. Simply sensational, absolutely recommended. 👏

Unbelievable... We were turned away because we were a group of 5 or more people. Even though the restaurant still had 4 tables available, they wanted to seat my mother and me in a dump next door. And this despite the fact that they had promised us over the phone that they wouldn't turn us away. RESPONSE to response: Dear Sam's Thai Halal Team, We called ahead of time and stated directly that we were coming with 7 people. They explained to us that while they couldn't accept reservations, they would definitely not turn anyone away. That's precisely why we chose your restaurant despite the long drive. When we got there, however, we weren't seated in the actual Thai restaurant, but in a completely different building next door – different concept, different ambiance, completely different vibe. This wasn't suitable for my mother, my wife, and my children at all. What was particularly annoying was that there were several tables available in the Thai restaurant itself. If there really is a house rule that groups of five or more aren't allowed to sit in the restaurant itself, then they should have made that clear to us during the phone call. Then we wouldn't have come in the first place. Instead, we were promised the opposite. The fact that you're now presenting this as a normal rule doesn't change the fact that we, as guests, feel simply deceived.

I went to Sam's Thai today, and every time I go there, only one thing comes to mind: how underhyped this place is. It's by far the best Thai place in all of Frankfurt and the surrounding area. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is very polite and respectful. They always accommodate special requests, and you can see how important customer satisfaction is. I went there with my friends, and €30 for two dishes and a drink is, in my opinion, too cheap. Conclusion: I highly recommend it, and it's a must-visit even if you're not a big Thai fan. We ate at Sam's Thai. The menus listed different prices, and they charged more at the checkout. We alerted the cashier; it was simply disastrous. We had Thai food and pizza. Everything was listed on the bill as Thai food, not pizza. They simply charged more, and we argued with the man from the pizza department and the cashier, and we didn't get the money.

I've eaten at your place several times now and I'm impressed every time! The food is always delicious and fresh! Sam's Thai is a great restaurant in itself. Unfortunately, the portions have shrunk... You get much less on your plate than they did in the beginning... Unfortunately, it doesn't really fill you up... I think it's a shame that people are cutting corners everywhere these days... Same price = fewer portions :( I personally think that's a real shame

This restaurant was amazing. Lovely decor, super tasty food and big portions, amazing and friendly staff who made the effort to speak English to us as we do not live in Germany. It was fully halal and the owner greeted everyone who arrived with Salaam, which was lovely. It was good to see they stocked a German cola brand instead and for good reason.

A Thai restaurant with a completely halal menu. Hard to believe, but true. The service is very friendly and offers excellent advice. You can sit outside or inside. The restaurant is very busy, which is definitely due to the excellent food. Free parking is available on the street or parallel to it.

The food was amazing. Simply delicious. Highly recommended. It was very busy, so we had to wait. Reservations aren't possible. We were then seated at the pizzeria next door, which was both a blessing and a curse. We did have a seat, but the owner of the pizza place was busy with his ordering and delivery service, and someone from Sam's Thai didn't arrive for about half an hour. Sure, it was pretty busy, but they could have at least asked for drinks. The wait was worth it, but it wasn't well organized. But I have no idea what the arrangement between the two is. Sam's Thai has air conditioning, the pizzeria doesn't. Everything outside was full. Parking is incredibly difficult; you can find space right in front or sometimes have to walk a bit. The food is halal, and across the street is an Islamic association where we were able to pray. That was obviously an advantage.

The food is great, honestly. This is the second time I've had to wait a very, very long time for my food. Ordered everything by phone. The first time on the phone, they said it would take half an hour. I arrived on time, and they wanted me to pay right away. I paid, and they told me they were bringing the food out, and the food wasn't ready yet. Then they told me it would take another 10 minutes. They repeated this four times each time I was inside and asked how long it would take. I honestly waited 30 minutes plus 45 minutes for my food. And today, I paid for the exact same food in advance and I'm waiting and waiting... Please, it's my recommendation if you're ordering takeout: pay right at the end.

My family and I went to Thai food today, and it was absolutely delicious! I had the 20-course dish with duck and absolutely loved it – the duck was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce was perfectly balanced. My family was also very happy with their dishes; everyone found something delicious. The value for money is excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food is super delicious. I really enjoy eating here. Suggestion for improvement: clean the benches better. Some of them are very dirty.

The shrimp soup was good. The second course, vegetables with peanut sauce and crispy chicken, was okay. It lacked a bit of zest, though. The vegetables were fresh but very simple. The rice was nothing special. Unfortunately, there are no dishes with Thai basil. Very good for vegetarians; many dishes are offered without meat. If you prefer meat, you can simply order it with your choice. There are also special vegan dishes and a children's menu.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The only drawback is that the staff are a bit pushy and try to tidy up the table before you have finished your meal.

This repeated issue with cleanliness has severely shaken my confidence in the quality of the preparation. Although the flavor profile of the Phad Thai was quite appealing and some of the other dishes I tried were also delicious, I can't ignore the lack of care in its preparation. Hygienic standards should always be maintained in a restaurant, regardless of the quality of the food. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, resulting in a disappointing experience.

We traveled an extra hour from Mannheim. Don't understand the hype surrounding this snack at all. Area not nice. Next door is a net, one could conclude or assume that the entire appetizer plate was frozen from there. In general, the food, including the main courses, we have eaten worlds better in other restaurants. That was really the first time that we hadn't eaten our plate empty. It was a real shame, we had hoped for a lot more...

We were here for the second time now. The location is inconspicuous, but this resto is a hidden gem. The food was delicious, especially the Pad Thai. What I personally really appreciate is the clean toilet, in my opinion that reflects the entire restaurant and you don't have to worry about hygiene. In addition, the atmosphere is nice and the employees and owners are very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be here again on our next FFM visit.

Small business like a cantina, food are okay could be better, portions are smaller but plenty of sauce. Duck was overcooked but lamb was delicious.

I've been eating at Sams Thai regularly for two years now and I always enjoy going there and I'm happy every time I go. The portions are all large, I almost always order fried rice with a side dish, so you really get something for your money. The waiting time is very short, never really had to wait long, except once during Ramadan, but also understandable. I can recommend it to everyone!

Finding a parking space wasn't easy. The restaurant is in an unusual setting. However, I had no safety concerns whatsoever. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but sometimes cramped. The map is arranged in a structured manner. The drink selection is limited to non-alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, the chicken skewers are so skewered that you can't pull off individual pieces. The food is delicious and, importantly, without flavor enhancers. You can't make a reservation, which is bad. Because the restaurant is well attended.

We liked the crispy chicken best, I think it was the best we've had so far. Service was also great, we were a slightly larger group with small children so things can quickly get confusing and our waitress mastered it confidently :) A nice gentleman also came to our table to apologize because we had to wait a bit for service, but honestly that wasn't necessary, it's completely okay to have to wait 5 minutes.

The food, while edible, was far from “tasty” or authentic. The spring rolls, advertised as “homemade,” taste like they came from the freezer, and the lemonade was disappointing – it didn’t taste good at all. The main courses were okay, but they didn't offer any particular variety of flavors or flavors that you would expect from a good Thai restaurant. All in all: Okay, but definitely not worth the hype.
