Unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately, this cozy Eritrean restaurant in racism-free Rödelheim (as the town sign and the majority of the people who live here say) is closing at the end of the year. Owner Azazi Maricos himself was there today and was as friendly as ever. He modified the menu for the four of us just so we liked it (one wanted more beef, two wanted much more spice...). Oh, we'll miss talking with him! Yes, being a restaurateur as a side job is really difficult. He's thinking about something else, and we wish him luck and happiness. An Indian restaurant will be moving in here soon. Multiculturalism will stay in Rödelheim. Here's to another one!

It was my first time here, I really enjoyed it, I will definitely come back, very tasty and fresh food, very nice and friendly staff, a nice and quiet terrace.🌸🤗

The owner is very friendly and knows how to present Balkan cuisine. The price is perfectly reasonable; I would even pay more for this quality. Simply delicious, I'd gladly come back again and again. I highly recommend eating there.

We discovered this restaurant through the Barometer book with the voucher for 2 for 1 main courses. There were four of us with two books, which wasn't a problem. The owner (?) was very friendly and attentive. We opted for the two platters (vegetarian/meat) each for two people. The vegetarian platter was very good, the meat platter was similar, with a little (quite a bit of meat, one was beef... but no one could figure out the other), otherwise the platters were identical. The injera arrived without any problems and was really delicious. Rather unassuming from the outside, but very cozy inside.
