Watchara's Werber Eck in Waldeck

Wir machen gerade eine Woche Urlaub am Edersee und sind auf das Restaurant gestoßen. Das Essen war ein Traum, die Gastgeber super freundlich. Wir werden definitiv nochmal im Urlaub hingehen. Seit langem nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Vielen Dank dafür 🙏

Traumhaftes Bistro direkt am See mit schönem Biergarten und super Herzlicher Bewirtung. So schmeckt die Thailändische Küche mitten im Kellerwald Nationalpark am Edersee in Nordhessen. Tolles Ambiente...wir kommen wieder.

Sehr lecker und sehr frische Zutaten, wir hatten Süß- sauer mit Reis und Garnelen und Reisnudeln mit Gemüse und Hähnchen, die Bedienung sehr freundlich

Gemütlicher kleiner Imbiss, der von einem sehr netten Paar geführt wird. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich war selbst leider noch nie in Thailand, aber so stelle ich mir die authentische Küche dort vor. Klein aber fein. 😋👍👍👍

Unglaublich toll! Essen sehr lecker, sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr freundliche Wirtsleute. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Essen war gut, aber der Service könnte besser sein. Nachdem ich bezahlt hatte, verabschiedeten sie sich nicht einmal, was ich persönlich ziemlich unhöflich fand… vielleicht war es nur ein Ausrutscher, aber so habe ich es erlebt.

Wir kamen aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen her und können ALLES bestätigen. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und picobello sauber, innen wie außen, bis hin zu den Toiletten. Die Gastgeber sehr freundlich 🙏❣️ und unser Essen (Mini Frühlingsrollen, hausgemachte Sate-Spieße mit hausgemachter Erdnusssoße, Thai Curry rot und grün) ausgesprochen schmackhaft und heiß😋. (Am liebsten hätten wir die Teller abgeleckt) Ich fürchte, wir sind nach unserem Erstbesuch direkt süchtig geworden und werden ganz bestimmt und bestimmt ganz bald wiederkommen 🥰❣️

Wir waren wegen einer Currywurst hier, die war leider ausverkauft. Dafür waren die Thai-Gerichte eine mehr als tolle Alternative, spitzenmäßig!

Great Thai cuisine, which you wouldn't guess from the outside. There's a small Thai menu, which expands with the selection of side dishes (vegetarian, chicken, shrimp, etc.). Bratwurst and fries (not my thing at all) are also available; don't let the smell outside put you off. I was VERY glad I looked at the menu 😄, because there's nothing Thai about the building. The food, as I said, was very tasty, and the service was very friendly and quick. The food was freshly prepared. In the summer, they also serve cakes. The restrooms are clean. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

Very friendly and quick service, good seating both inside and outside, and ample parking. Located right on the lake, we had sweet and sour chicken and red Thai curry, which was delicious with fresh vegetables.

The menu is small, but everything is freshly prepared and delicious. Super friendly owners who really go above and beyond for their guests! We haven't been there for a few years, but the quality has definitely not declined. Many people could take a leaf out of their book. If we're ever at the Edersee again, we'll definitely stop here again.

I had: Thai yellow curry with potatoes, carrots, onions, and chili, vegetarian. Very tasty, pleasantly spicy, and very hot, just how I like it (€12.90). Friendly service, beautiful outdoor seating on the lawn under a parasol, everything very clean! Thank you!

We arrived here early in the evening on a very windy late summer day – a magical spot! The fried rice and green curry we ordered were served outside after just a short while and tasted absolutely delicious. The vegetables were cooked to perfection – simply delicious. Add to that the very friendly service – Watchara's Werber Eck gets our full recommendation!

Absolutely. We stopped there on a bike ride. The seating is lovely in a large garden. The food is plentiful, and for us, it was some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying here in Germany. The vegetables were cooked to perfection: crisp, visually appealing, and a revelation in taste. The owners are very friendly, and everything runs like clockwork, even though it was very busy.

All the dishes were delicious and fresh (including curry, bratwurst, fries, etc.), and the outdoor atmosphere in nice weather is wonderful and relaxed. Incorrect information for allergy sufferers was provided upon request (fortunately, an allergen list was available, which prevented a disaster), but it was only handed over after we were repeatedly told that the food was vegan (spoiler: it isn't). Card payments only accepted for amounts over €20 (but this isn't stated anywhere).

The perfect place to end the evening after a beautiful day. We sat outside in glorious weather (plenty of shady spots, perfect!), everything was very idyllic, and the service was really friendly and the food was delicious. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The icing on the cake: It's also a great place to eat with (small) children, as it's child-friendly. I highly recommend it!

For me, it was a stopover during a bike tour where I needed to replenish my energy reserves. I was lucky to arrive shortly after 12, as I still had a free seat. When I left, all the tables were already taken. So, the restaurant seems to be quite popular. I can totally understand why, because the people there are very friendly and helpful, the food is very fresh, delicious, and the portions are quite large. If you don't want Thai food, you can also get a bratwurst or something similar. That would be silly, of course, because you can get those almost everywhere else. The Pad Thai I ordered tasted absolutely delicious and had the right amount of spice. I was also able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. Keep in mind that the restaurant is located at an intersection that, in good weather, is quite busy with cars and motorcycles. Accordingly, it can be quite noisy at times. This certainly won't be a disadvantage for everyone, as you also get to see and hear some beautiful motorcycles and cars. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

A dreamy spot on Lake Edersee with views of the floodplains and incredibly delicious food. The journey was worth it and I highly recommend it!

Sunday afternoon, we were out on our bikes, and it was incredibly busy. Food and drinks are ordered and paid for inside, but brought to the table. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The free Wi-Fi is also worth mentioning, as reception with Telekom mobile is rather poor. Addendum: The portions are still good, but I personally feel the pasta lacks a bit more sauce. When I asked, I was given a small bowl, but it wasn't nearly enough. Reply to comment: We'll come by at the start of the season and we can talk then. So, the conversation has taken place. Everything's fine again. We'll be back.

We've been here several times for a spontaneous meal. Here in Nieder-Werbe, you'll find a gem where you can unwind. The food is excellent and the ambiance is appealing. Hospitality and friendliness are the hallmarks of this establishment. Anyone who passes through Nieder-Werbe without stopping at Watchara's Werber Eck only has only themselves to blame. We'd love to come back. The menu is still long. 😊

A lovely rest stop where you can linger. Ideal for a break with a delicious coffee, a cold drink, or some tasty Thai food. Only the heavy traffic on the very busy road is a bit annoying.

The service is friendly, and the traffic shouldn't be too distracting. It can be quite heavy depending on the weather and the day of the week. We had currywurst and fries, and I was disappointed with the currywurst, as it wasn't described as a bratwurst a la currywurst. That's a matter of taste. Unfortunately, it wasn't mine.
