Wir haben zu zweit dort gegessen. Beide fanden die Salatsauce sehr gut - damit steht und fällt jeder Salat. Sehr gut war auch für beide das Holzfällerschnitzel. Super Qualität. Und der Bacchus-Wein ist ein Genuss. Alles empfehlenswert.

Total nettes Personal und sehr leckere Gerichte, kann ich nur empfehlen! Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend wie auch der Chef. Das Essen hat uns sehr geschmeckt, wir hatten ein Thunfisch Salat mit tollem Dressing und ein Schweineschnitzel Holzfäller. Der Weißwein war gut gekühlt und super lecker. Die Qualität des Essens ist spitze. Wir durften Wein probieren bevor wir uns entschieden haben. Danke. Auch vor der Wirtschaft war tolle Stimmung, wir bedanken uns für einen gelungenen Abend.

Ein absoluter Glücksgriff am Edersee! Wir waren mit sieben Personen im Wernsdorfer's in Waldeck und rundum begeistert. Das Ambiente ist total urig und gemütlich, ohne dabei irgendwie altbacken zu wirken – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. ​Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend. Wir hatten unter anderem das Holzfäller Schnitzel, Knoblauchbaguette und als krönenden Abschluss den Kaiserschmarrn. Die Portionen sind wirklich groß und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut. Alles wurde heiß serviert, Schnitzel und Pommes waren wunderbar frisch und knusprig. Ein besonderes Lob geht auch an das extrem leckere Salatdressing! ​Was uns neben dem guten Essen besonders beeindruckt hat, war der tolle Service. Obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war und wir sieben Essen bestellt haben, ging die Zubereitung super schnell. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und es blieb sogar noch Zeit für ein richtig nettes Schwätzchen mit dem Chef und der sympathischen Servicekraft. ​Von uns gibt es volle 5 Sterne – wir können das Wernsdorfer's nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Wir waren Heute 06.07.26 zum Abendessen dort und haben dank guten Wetter's an einem kleinen Tisch draußen Platz genommen. Kurz und knapp gesagt, wir waren rundum zufrieden. Leckeres Essen toller Service und auch gut in Preis Leistung. Wir können "Werndorfer's Waldeck" nur empfehlen und werden wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind gerne wieder kommen.

Super leckeres Schnitzel mit Speck, Zwiebeln, geschmolzenem Käse und Spiegelei sowie sehr freundlicher Service.

Wir können das Waldeck von Herzen weiterempfehlen! Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir total freundlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass unsere Hunde sofort wahrgenommen wurden und direkt Wasser bekommen haben, dass ist nicht selbstverständlich und zeigt einfach, wie aufmerksam und herzlich das Team ist. Das Essen war wirklich super, frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Auch die Getränke kamen schnell, und es wurde immer darauf geachtet, dass alles passt. Der Chef und das gesamte Personal sind einfach unglaublich lieb, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich nicht wie „nur ein Gast“, sondern wirklich willkommen und geschätzt. So einen tollen Service erlebt man heutzutage nur noch selten. Von uns gibt es nicht nur 5 Sterne, sondern gefühlt 1000 Punkte! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein wunderschönes Lokal! Von außen etwas unscheinbar, aber drin sehr urig eingerichtet. Die Bedienung und der Chef sind sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ein Traum! Die verschiedenen Flammkuchen und die verschiedenen Schnitzelvariationen sind unglaublich lecker! Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und wünschen alles Gute! Antje und André!

Sehr guter Service, sehr freundlich, sehr schnell. Das Essen war ganz hervorragend, besonders die Bratkartoffeln und das Knusperhändl. Aber auch das Rumpsteak war erstklassig, Wein war super, alles so, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann. Empfehlung. Wir waren im Zwei-Tages-Urlaub zweimal da.

Leckeres Essen, gute Auswahl, man kann draußen und drinnen Speisen. Sehr zügige und freundliche Bedienung. WC sauber, alles in allem sehr gut, auch für Kinder.

Gemütliche Kneipe mit einem sehr angenehmen Wirt, mit dem wir uns super unterhalten haben. Da der Wirt zufällig sogar aus unserer Gegend kommt, gab es natürlich den ein oder anderen gemeinsamen Gesprächsstoff. 😃 Auch die Bedienung vor Ort war sehr nett, freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen hat uns wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt und die gesamte Atmosphäre war angenehm und gemütlich. Selbst das Bier war richtig lecker – und das will schon etwas heißen, denn wir Franken sind mit unserer heimischen Gerste bekanntlich sehr verwöhnt. 😄 Wir können diese Location auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir waren gestern zum 01. Mai dort essen wir hatten richtig glück das wir ohne reservierung ein Tisch bekommen haben. Service super freundlich die Karte ist sehr übersichtlich nicht so vollgeladen mit Gerichten. Das Essen ging so meine Eltern hatten Schnitzel die waren etwas zu trocken und die Bratkattoffel hatten die Pfanne wohl nur kurz gesehen. Ich hatte den Flankuchen Scharf gehabt für 11,90€ okay .

Persönlich und herzlich - waren nun im zweiten Jahr wieder in diesem wirklich leckeren und schönen Restaurant. Es ist eine Atmosphäre, die einlädt und das Essen ist herzhaft lecker. Können sich viele gastronomische Betriebe eine Scheibe von anbschneiden. Sehr schöne Erfahrung 👌

Wir waren gestern dort und waren rundum begeistert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend, das Essen war außergewöhnlich lecker und der Service einfach top. Vor allem irgendwie keine wirkliche Wartezeit. Dieses Lokal haben wir uns definitiv schon für unseren nächsten Besuch in Waldeck vorgemerkt. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon darauf.

Wir sind eigentlich nur wegen der Schnitzel- und Kaiserschmarrn-Bilder auf Google hier gelandet – und was sollen wir sagen: beste Entscheidung! Das Essen war schlichtweg PERFEKT. Das Schnitzel saftig und zart, die Pommes genau auf den Punkt und sogar das Salatdressing ein echter Genuss (ja, selbst das!). Das absolute Highlight war jedoch der Kaiserschmarrn – so gut habe ich ihn tatsächlich noch nie gegessen. Eine kleine Offenbarung auf dem Teller. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze durch einen wirklich sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Die Dame des Hauses erkundigte sich immer wieder nach unserem Wohlergehen und gab uns außerdem wertvolle Tipps zur richtigen Bestellgröße (sehr hilfreich für hungrige Menschen wie uns). Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener und wunderschöner Abend. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir garantiert zurück. Und am Rande sei noch die liebevoll-rustikale Inneneinrichtung erwähnt, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt.

Waren in großer Gruppe nach einer schönen Wanderung vor Ort - gut bürgerliches Essen, nicht allzu lange Wartezeiten und eine Theke die auf Zack war :-) es gibt nichts zu bemängeln, top Einrichtung und Ambiete! Vielen Dank

We were in Waldeck for a short vacation and ate here on our first evening. What can I say? We enjoyed the food so much that we immediately reserved another table for the next day. We're just sorry that we were so exhausted from our two jam-packed days that we didn't have enough time for a longer chat with the host. But as discussed, we'll be back when the weather is better. We visited Wernsdorfers on a Saturday. The restaurant's ambiance is truly inviting and cozy. The menu is small but excellent. We had a starter, schnitzel, and Kaiserschmarrn to finish. All the dishes were delicious! The attentive service is particularly noteworthy.

We were passing through after visiting the Edersee. Getting a table for two without a reservation was no problem. The food was very tasty and fresh. Prices were a bit higher, but not excessive. The owner was friendly and the service was pleasant. We'd gladly return!

A very cozy restaurant with delicious food. We had a creamy mushroom schnitzel and a rump steak, both with fries and salad. Rump steak is a bit of a mystery, but here the 300g piece was cooked to perfection and super tender. Everything was top-notch!

Great, uncomplicated restaurant with good service! Always friendly, flexible, and attentive. I'd also like to particularly highlight the steak! As someone who generally doesn't order steak in restaurants anymore because I can buy it myself in better quality and prepare it better, I had to make an exception here due to the sheer size of the steaks. For the first time in my life, I didn't regret it! The steak was perfect and the price/performance ratio was excellent.

The wine is good, the atmosphere pleasant, the service excellent, but I'm disappointed with the food. The menu is small and manageable, which gives me hope. Okay, I only tried a few things, but the schnitzels are industrially pre-made (the ones at the next table also looked DIN-standard, just breaded with Pankow breadcrumbs); the sauce was convenience food. The selection of tarte flambée was quite extensive, but they're also pre-made. I can't comment on the toppings; I'm skeptical. For a good wine, okay, I recommend it... for food, go three steps further; there's the best Greek restaurant in the region.

We were able to reserve a table for dinner there for lunch with five adults and four children. The service was attentive and friendly, despite the many children's special requests. The food selection is limited, but the quality is top-notch! If we're ever in the area again, a visit is a must! Additionally, a two-man band with a ship's piano and violin came to collect the guests' money. The owner handled this brilliantly by throwing something in the hat for all the guests!

We had the schnitzel, one with mushroom sauce and one with onion sauce, both were delicious, the service was great, and although it's a tiny town it's very close to Edersee and the castle, so it is worth the visit.

I've rarely eaten such a delicious schnitzel, crispy and tender. Perfectly seasoned and topped with tomatoes. Served with delicious fried potatoes and a salad that couldn't have tasted better. There were three of us, and we all agreed: Perfect! We were lucky to get a table, but our waitress Nina very thoughtfully recommended the Kaiserschmarrn, which rounded off the meal both in terms of taste and appearance. Great evening, thank you.

I can't understand all the good reviews at all. The food here is truly awful. The schnitzels are frozen and cooked in a deep fryer, which is a complete disgrace. This is street food quality. Anyone who calls themselves a pub should be able to prepare a schnitzel fresh, especially for that price. The fried potatoes are worse than in the cafeteria and are also frozen junk. I simply don't understand why they can't just prepare good food. If I want to eat that kind of crap, I might as well go to the big M. I've honestly never had food as bad as here. We should have gone to the Greek restaurant next door.

Smaller menu, mainly schnitzel and tarte flambée. The food came quickly, perhaps too quickly; the chicken schnitzel was still half-raw. After a complaint, it was thrown back in the fryer for a few minutes. Apart from that mistake, it was great; delicious food.

So, I don't know which restaurant the people who gave this 5 stars went to. For us, this place is a tourist trap. We were there on Monday, September 2, 2019. I had a schnitzel, which wasn't fresh, but ready-made meat. My wife had fish, which, according to the menu, was freshly grilled. Unfortunately, it was quite greasy. I didn't even know that they used oil on a grill. Now let's move on to dessert. Kaiserschmarn. Honestly. Is Kaiserschmarn dough that difficult to make?! Does it even have to come from a package? And then it's not even the airy texture you're used to, but more reminiscent of bread. How can you call yourself a chef and ruin Kaiserschmarn from a package?! When I got my schnitzel, the waitress walked back. She brought two more schnitzels for another table. The same thing happened again. Then another single schnitzel. 6 schnitzels with various side dishes within 2-3 minutes. That must be a German record. The menu consists of about 20 dishes on one page. No drinks menu. Isn't it possible to cook fresh food with so few dishes? I've almost never experienced something like this in a vacation spot. Except perhaps abroad, where there are similar tourist traps on beach promenades, etc. Normally, I wouldn't give it a star. But I'll give it half a star for getting us a seat at 6 p.m. without a reservation, even though it was already quite busy. Another half a star goes to the waitress, who was really attentive and friendly. I've revised my review again and hope it will be published after 6 years.

Lured by the good reviews, we went here for dinner last night. We had reserved a table in advance, and once we got there, we felt like it was a really good idea. We had lumberjack schnitzel and garlic tarte flambée. The food was really good, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Hello, I had dinner there yesterday with my girlfriend. Incredibly delicious food, as well as drinks. We ordered the Classic Flammkuchen for starters and a rump steak for the main course. I always order my extra sausage on food because I can't get enough (athlete, 115 kg, and 29 years old). So, as always, the question of whether I can have a 500g piece, and as always, the crazy eyes and questions of whether I've "lost my mind." But no sooner said than done, with a quick scrutiny from the restaurant manager, I of course got my extra sausage. The best part: I wasn't charged extra, and it was our first time eating there!!! My girlfriend had the regular rump steak, which was also a huge chunk, and we paid €28.90 each. At the end, we had a really nice conversation with the boss (perhaps the 'no price increase' was just because we liked each other), but despite everything, I can only recommend the restaurant! 😍

Food was very tasty, selection is quite small, vegetarian dishes are rare. Unfortunately the allergy card is missing for lactose/fructose etc.

Today we were at the Wernsdorfer Wirtshaus as part of our family break at Edersee. We just had to go out the front door and down to the left and we were already there. Be sure to reserve in advance!!! We got a nice, large table by the window for 8 people ordered.....everything was very very 😋. The dressing from the side salad😋😋. Absolutely recommended!!!!!!

Lachs auf Reibekuchen und Schnitzel auf Tomaten und Speck („Schwarzwälder Schnitzel“), dazu zwei Johannisbeersaftschorlen und Knoblauchbaguette als Vorspeise: alles sehr lecker und kross (auch die Pommes zum Schnitzel), die Schorlen geschmacklich gut gemischt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und Preis-Leistung empfanden wir auch als passend. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung.

We had dinner there on our vacation. It was a nice atmosphere. Although it was always very full, the extremely accommodating and super nice boss always found a place for us. The dishes were always delicious, so we ate there every evening except on the rest day. We were served very nicely and felt more than comfortable there.
