Unfortunately, dogs are now banned from the village inn. This has really upset us as loyal regulars of 21 years. Our whole family and our friends have always loved coming with us to the inn. The dog always lies quietly under the table. That was the case again last week, everything was perfect. But today I was treated so rudely by a woman that I felt like a criminal standing there with my dog. We had come without a car, so we went home. Dear Martina, that's no way to treat guests. Especially since last week your colleague was so friendly and welcomed us with our dog. But whatever, I don't have to put up with being snapped at.
Goodbye, village inn.
A wonderful salad plate consisting of various fresh greens with delicious dressings and well-seasoned chicken pieces; the fries were crispy and tasty.
The ambiance was rustic and cozy – the adjoining room had a wood-burning stove.
The waitresses were very attentive and friendly.
We'll gladly come again!
The ambiance is extremely unusual, definitely not to everyone's taste, and the service is very attentive. However, the food is rather below average for the very high price. The restaurant is more suitable for events and functions than for a simple meal.
We've been to this restaurant three times now and have been delighted every time. The exceptionally welcoming atmosphere, combined with highly professional service, makes each visit special. The food is consistently outstanding and prepared with great care.
Whether you're there spontaneously, for a special meal with family, or with friends – you always feel welcome here. The noise level is also very pleasant: even when all the tables are occupied, the atmosphere remains relaxed and cozy.
Fantastic food! We had mango lassi, avocado and mango salad, palak chicken, and tandoori. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and you could immediately tell it was homemade.
Cozy little restaurant.
We'll definitely be back!
Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was bad. The food was very bad, especially the broasted chicken, which was a completely different, dark color. It was my first and last experience.
It was my first time eating Indian food. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back and would say it's the best Indian restaurant in Nuremberg :)
We thoroughly enjoyed the three-course menu with amuse-bouche and wine pairing and can highly recommend it. The cuisine was of a very high standard. The presentation was very successful and creative. The wine pairing was also of very high quality, although opinions may differ on the Gewürztraminer as the wine with dessert. The service was very attentive. The ambiance is also very appealing and a bit different from the usual. I was slightly bothered by the fact that the restaurant is somewhat noisy across the floors, and we could still hear the children from the ground floor, but this only marginally detracted from our enjoyment and my recommendation.
I spent a wonderful evening with dear friends at what I consider the best Asian restaurant in the city.
VyVu has simply been fantastic for years – always a delight! These are exactly the kinds of evenings you cherish.
