We visited the restaurant with our two children and their grandparents based on a recommendation. The food was excellent, and the children's menu was also great.

I think the cuisine is absolutely fantastic. You should check the opening hours beforehand, but I think it's good that they also give their employees a few days off.

We had made an online reservation for the beer garden, which was necessary as it was packed. Despite the high occupancy, we were served promptly; the menus arrived immediately, and the soups of the day were also served quickly. The service staff were extremely friendly and cheerful. Our two main courses (pork medallions and steak) were generously portioned and tasted excellent. The homemade sorbet was also delicious. In conclusion: It was an all-around successful visit to the inn, and if we didn't live in Hesse, we would definitely go there more often.

Great ambiance, very tasteful with a blend of modernity and typical country inn style, but without any frills or kitsch. Very clean and well-maintained. The beer garden is a true gem! But the real gems here are on the plates: wonderful dishes made with predominantly regional and seasonal ingredients. The dishes are down-to-earth but never ordinary, a perfect blend of tradition and modern influences. The overall culinary package is rounded out by the excellent service. Always attentive, friendly, and inviting without seeming forced. Simply personable! We look forward to our next visit!

We were there for the first time yesterday for a "Meran" menu evening. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The musical accompaniment was just right and not too intrusive. Everything else, including the service, decor, etc., was absolutely perfect for such an evening. The food, I have to say, was of a high standard, but not too pretentious. The only thing that wasn't quite as great was the braised beef; it could have been a bit more tender, but you can't really get into the meat, so it doesn't deduct any points. Otherwise, we can highly recommend the restaurant, and we will be back.😀

We certainly won't be coming here again. The service was abysmal and disorganized. The food was partly good, partly bad, for example, the roast beef with onions was completely tough. We didn't feel welcome and therefore uncomfortable. Communication was very poor. Hospitality definitely needs a different approach. Definitely not a recommendation!

Phew, I think for a business lunch where traditional German cuisine is definitely allowed, I'd say the restaurant is OK. But it's simply too expensive for that. There's a restaurant just 200 meters away that serves larger portions plus salad for the same price, about €1-2 cheaper. I think it's nicely decorated overall, but the overall impression isn't quite there for me. It was just my impression. The food tasted really good, there's nothing to it, and it was worth a visit. But I hope this isn't taken the wrong way :)

Delicious large Schäufele for €18.80. The food was at the table quickly. Service very friendly. Reorder took longer (mayonnaise). The dessert with ice cream and pickled rhubarb was too exclusive for my taste - so tiny! But the few spoonfuls tasted good. Toilets pleasantly clean. Enough parking spaces. ....and if you want to save money you shouldn't go out to eat...

After a great day at Lake Brombachsee, I was able to enjoy a fantastic dinner in the beautiful winter garden at the “Zur Linde” restaurant! The service was super fast & super friendly - and the food (onion roast with fried onions and fried potatoes) was very plentiful & tasted great! It was my first time here and I would love to come back!

Yesterday we were at the Landgasthaus Zur Linde for the first time and we were thrilled with the food, service and ambience. I had braised leg of lamb and can definitely recommend this.

Today we had our Easter dinner with the family here in the country inn. Of course we assumed there would be a lot going on, but there were some points that I didn't really like. Firstly, we had reserved a table for 1 p.m. We were shown to a table which we had to get up from after a few minutes because it was the wrong one. Our table wasn't ready yet and had to be put together and cleaned. This was not done particularly considerately. The drinks came after half an hour and we had to wait an hour for the food. We were there with two children, my daughter was the last to get her food. The portions were quite small, we expected more for the long wait. I would like to positively highlight the opportunity to play in front of the restaurant. There is a slide, a swing and a large lawn; Great with small children when the weather is nice! We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours and due to the points mentioned above, the price-performance ratio wasn't really there for me.

Convinced that I would be served very good, tender meat in this very beautiful country inn, I ordered a roast with fried potatoes and an additional side salad. The fried potatoes were deliciously crispy, each vegetable had its own tasty salad dressing, the fried onions were generous and the gravy was wonderfully tasty. Unfortunately, the roast was not prepared and was therefore not enjoyable. What a shame! Tip for cyclists: lunch ends at 1:30 p.m.!

We had a wonderful lunch at the Gasthof zur Linde! As a starter we enjoyed a fresh side salad, followed by a perfectly prepared saddle of venison and a wonderfully spicy goulash. At the end there was delicious ice cream – simply sensational! The level of cuisine is impressive and the quality of the food is at the highest level. Added to this is the beautiful ambience with lots of old wood and stylish indirect lighting, which creates a really cozy atmosphere. The toilets are sparkling clean and the service was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. An all-round perfect experience – we would love to come back!

Spätzle als Spaghetti sind zum Braten ungeeignet. Die Nachspeise haben wir dann weggelassen. Wer auf Ambiente steht, ist hier richtig. Wer Geschmack favorisiert wird enttäuscht sein.

We had our Christmas party here in December. We were greeted by the fire in the courtyard with a few drinks. The atmosphere in the small winter garden was very nice and cozy. The food and drinks were also very tasty.

So this was the third time we made a reservation for Christmas, but this year 2024 we were very disappointed, apart from soups there were no starters (previously there was always a trio of starters), and dessert (previously there was a trio of desserts) was only rudimentary , there was no chocolate or strawberry ice cream for the children except vanilla. The menu on offer was actually just plain old-fashioned without any esprit. I was also irritated that everything on the menu that was criticized was published on the Internet, everything was there, if there was a limited menu for Christmas it would have been nice to communicate this. In addition, the service was a lot worse than previous years.
