(My husband had the schnitzel, and we were both amazed at how big it was! You'd pay twice as much for it at other places.) And it looks absolutely beautiful. Plus: They provided complimentary mayo and ketchup at the table, so you didn't have to pay extra for them!

Wow... we were looking for somewhere to eat delicious schnitzel... and I have to say, yours are amazing... so delicious. We were thrilled, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. And the service was very friendly and accommodating, and even though it was a communion and very busy, the food came really quickly... The ambiance is also very nice, and I think the beer garden was too... it was just too fickle outside. 😊 All in all, in my opinion, you absolutely deserve 5 stars. 👍

We ate at Gasthaus Maxhof for the first time today, and the cevape were simply fantastic! Really well-seasoned and juicy. The schnitzel was also excellent, nice and crispy, and the portions were really generous. We were really full, and the service was perfect all around, super friendly and attentive.

Relaxed atmosphere and good service. My beef steak was cooked perfectly, and the side dishes were simply delicious.

The Gasthaus Maxhof is a home-style restaurant with a beer garden, beautifully located in the Maxhof residential district of the same name. In summer we always recommend a visit to the beer garden, otherwise there is plenty of space in the restaurant. The food tastes good, the portions are really big. I can particularly recommend the huge schnitzel and cordon bleus if you really have a craving for schnitzel and beer! The staff is nice and attentive. Gladly again at any time.

There are no better schnitzels anywhere. And no nicer waiters either. Simply great!

We had lunch here on my birthday, there were seven of us and everyone really appreciated the quality of the food, the service and the location! There was a problem with a dish but they apologized, replaced it and offered us dessert. Considering that such things can happen, they handled the inconvenience very professionally. I can only recommend it, you don't go home hungry!

We generally had a good lunch there, but my blue-gray sooo sweet, barely edible waiter just said aha, no apology or little attention. And that for the €70 I paid there. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back

The food was great, my schnitzel was huge, juicy and delicious. My fries were super salty and crispy. Our condition was friendly and polite. Unfortunately the food was too big and I couldn't eat it all. I can only recommend it, but I made reservations where I went, so I would recommend that to you too.

Unfortunately the food wasn't that tasty, the burger was homemade but the meat didn't taste good at all. And I think that the ready-made meat petties were a shame. The waiter is very nice but very hectic. What impressed me positively was the changing table. The top equipment was a great compliment

Great recommendation! Very tasty food, the service is very good, attentive and personable, something you rarely see these days. We spontaneously visited on a Friday evening and there was no problem getting a table. We felt very welcome and are happy to have discovered this great restaurant. Was invited here because I was driving a friend to an appointment. As I said, better than expected. I had the soup of the day and the trout and my friend had the Maxhof Burger. All recommended. The waiter was great, friendly, very accommodating. Class. Ambiance....Bavarian, sober, yet inviting. Food was on point and also easy on the eyes. I'll be back.

A nice schnitzel restaurant near us. You can sit in the beautiful beer garden with or without service. There is a nice beer selection. There is a large round table at the back of the restaurant. 8 people can sit and celebrate very well at this table.

Went there with our 6 year old junior because we had heard that there were huge schnitzels there. Yes, he loves schnitzel more than anything. He told the very nice waiter he would like a huge schnitzel and was not disappointed. It was super tasty. Highly recommended is the schnitzel with mushrooms and the cevapcici. Once again we went to the Maxhof Restaurant as a family. The atmosphere was relaxed and the employees always greet you with a smile. We ordered schnitzel, smash burgers and a roast pork and everything tasted great. The people here definitely know how to make a good schnitzel. We'll definitely be back 👏🏻

We were at Maxhof for the first time at Christmas time. First of all, let me say that we were absolutely positively surprised by the Christmas decorations. Everything looked so beautiful outside - really well done 👍 We didn't have a reservation, but we still managed to get a table without any problem. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. He was on his toes and our food came really quickly. We had the cheese spaetzle, the cevapcici and the schnitzel. In terms of taste, everything was actually great, but the fried potatoes were a bit too greasy for me personally and would have liked to have been a little crispier 😉. Otherwise the rest was great and we would love to come back here.
