Food super delicious, stuff professional and kind

The meat dishes are always very tasty and the service is very friendly. One star less for the soups, which unfortunately only taste like powdered vegetable broth.

I've never eaten such disgusting cheese sparrows as I did there. Were there with almost 20 people and we were ripped off too. Several dishes were charged for when ordered. The service was bad. Drinks had to be ordered several times because the waiter kept forgetting them. Never again!

Definitely delicious food at great prices

Nice and big and open. Two large separate rooms for events or celebrations. I became aware of them via social media and wanted to see for myself how great the schnitzels are. Thin, huge schnitzels with airy breading. That's how it has to be! The fiery Maxhofschnitzel was very good. I'm used to spiciness, so for me it's rather spicy but tastes excellent. I'd love to come back and try the other schnitzels too.

Extremely attentive and very polite staff. My first visit was a thoroughly positive experience, not least because of the excellent service. The dish of the day (duck) appealed to me straight away, even if the main course was a bit too salty for my taste. Maybe a sign that the chef is in love - I'm happy for him, but less salt would be ideal when eating. The quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere were nevertheless convincing, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit, where the schnitzel test will take place. Many thanks to the great team!

The food is first class. Really very tasty. For 5. We had the Wiener Schnitzel, the grill plate, 2x Cordon Bleu and actually the Bavarian Schnitzel. Instead the Classic Schnitzel came. The ambience is very nice except for the generally very loud noise level, which was caused not only by customers but also by the clinking and banging behind the bar. The service... We had a waiter who said he had only worked here for just over a month and needed a second waiter to answer simple questions. (So ​​far everything is fine) The experienced waiter was great. My sister wanted the table water in a glass. Large. (0.4l) A bottle was brought. (0.75l) When she politely pointed out that that was too much, the waiter immediately became snotty and started arguing. There was absolutely no reason for the waiter's behavior and especially not in such a tone. When he came with the glass, he asked again in an extra provocative way: “Does this fit now?” My sister tried to take the glass from him and he wiped his hand away and slammed the glass on the table. That's a real shame, hopefully the behavior will adapt over the course of your experience as it's definitely a deterrent to new customers. All in all, a great experience and recommended.

I became aware of the Gasthaus Maxhof through a video. Pictures of the food looked good, that's why I tried it twice 😁 Conclusion: Turkey Cordon Bleu with side salad, fried potatoes, grilled vegetables and mushroom cream sauce, as well as the dessert were very tasty 😋 The portion was large and the prices were also ok. The portion of the side dish could be a little larger, but it was enough and we were full :) Service was friendly and the inn makes a friendly, welcoming impression :) We can only recommend the inn and its food and would be happy to come back 😊

The dishes are delicious, I particularly liked the schnitzel with mushroom sauce, the juicy steak with potatoes and the fluffy Kaiserschmarrn. We wanted to go to Maxhof to get some schnitzel. Once we arrived we were greeted warmly. They really take the time to make sure that everything is fine and that you are happy. So the service was more then good. The food itself was also great. It was fresh and the side dishes where good as well. We would definitely come back another time! Thanks guys Ps: they even wrapped our food which we couldn’t finish in a nice form. That’s what I mean with great service and keeping guests happy!! ;)

Unfortunately, the appearance was a little better than what we experienced... If you love schnitzel for a Christmas party - perfect... But there wasn't really a Christmas feeling. Unfortunately. Staff really nice and helpful... But somehow it didn't want to...

The best Schnitzel! We stop everytime we are in München. Everything we've tried on the menu has been great and we have always had great service. The outdoor seating is wonderful in the warmer months, but the indoor seating is also very nice. Defintely give it a try!

I have the gift of always going to the insider restaurants in Munich. I just wanted dinner and there was live music today. Very inviting from the outside, but inside it was of the same standard. I ordered the beef soup with noodles. It was an honest marrow bone soup with meat. As the main course I chose the pork crust roast with dumplings and red cabbage. The dish was also crumbly and tasted great. I still have to get used to the size of the beer. A large beer is a measure in Bavaria. For dessert I ordered the nougatino, an ice cream dessert that rounded off the evening. Service really Bavarian friendly. The price was a little higher but it was worth every euro. Conclusion: It was worth the visit.

Very unfriendly waiter, food too expensive because I didn't arrive until around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 6th. Because I was sitting outside and wanted to get an ashtray, I was immediately shouted at. I wanted a salad and told the cellar that we don't have green salad without it. I think the guest is king, I'll never have to have something like that again.
