I was there for dinner in the late afternoon when there wasn't much going on. Nice restaurant with a great view. Friendly service and delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, I didn't finish all of the Kaiserschmarrn and they gave me the rest. It tasted great the next day too. Thank you. Gladly again.

Great view, good and friendly service and extremely tasty food. The applesauce was fresh and the Kaiserschmarren was one of the best I've ever eaten!

Ate in the restaurant: Käsespätzle were rich and tasted good. Spinach dumplings too. Roast pork (children's portion) was unfortunately quite salty and had a bit of a porky taste. Parking space available to be expanded. The waiter couldn't answer our question about the origin of the meat and didn't offer to ask in the kitchen. View is nice.

Very great restaurant in a charming alpine pasture. Went there spontaneously in the evening at 6 p.m. and received polite and great service. We enjoyed the food with large portions. The view over Ruhpolding is also impressive

We were led here by the positive reviews. How the 4.7 comes about is a mystery to me. Nice terrace in the sun. Unfortunately that was it. My Munich schnitzel was okay, but nothing more. We didn't like the spinach dumplings at all (we usually love spinach dumplings). All in all, we wouldn't come here to eat again.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The view over Ruhpolding is simply breathtaking and makes the meal a very special experience. The food itself was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive, which made our visit even more pleasant. All in all, it was a wonderful evening – we would definitely like to come back!

We went to the church fair at the Brandler Alm last night. Appropriately, there was duck with potato dumplings and red cabbage. A big compliment to the kitchen - it tasted excellent. Crispy skin, tender juicy meat and lots of good sauce. For dessert we couldn't resist ordering the Kaiserschmarren. He was world class as always! One of the best you can get. Here we still cook honestly, Bavarian and well, with a lot of love. The service was also excellent. The young man who served us was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back!

A cozy inn idyllically located on a hillside and with a beautiful view over Ruhpolding from the terrace and the guest room. We felt very comfortable, which was particularly helped by the warm and extremely friendly service team - the young service manager and the young Ukrainian waitress. We can also say that the Brandler Alm is also very dog-friendly. The food was great and came really quickly despite the well-filled dining room. We had Wiener Schnitzel...from the pan, of course! and spinach dumplings...both dishes were very tasty and generously filling portions. But I still had to have the Kaiserschmarrn and I didn't regret it...the best! for many visits from Bavaria to Tyrol to Vienna. ...because it was so good, we were there a second time...thanks to the great weather on the beautiful covered terrace. Styrian Backhändl salad and the schnitzel in mushroom cream sauce are also recommended. And of course the Kaiserschmarrn again. A perfect end to a beautiful day.

Today we were here for about the 6th time in just over 2 years. Unfortunately I just had to delete my 5 ⭐️ star rating. (Please look at photos)! We have four things to complain about today - unfortunately it's true. We ordered the liver dumpling soup twice. 1. The dumpling tasted very good but the soup was cold. We also told the waitress that when she asked if everything was OK. We didn't want to be rude since the 1/2 was eaten. 2. A young man was very inattentive because our main course was in the kitchen serving compartment for some time. (we sat directly at the exit.) The kitchen bell also rang, but the young man put away the glasses even as he brought the menu to new guests. A lot of time passed when a young, Eastern European waitress finally brought us the food. Just 3 minutes later she asked us if the food was okay, we said no because it was cold. I got a new hot plate and she apologized several times. 3. My wife had a salad plate with turkey, dressing with no taste. Potato salad on the plate so watery and tasteless 1 star. (We also had that back then - you can see the difference in the meat in the photo) 4. Taste of the pork roast sauce 1⭐️ I can't help myself. I also had the card given to me again. I think you use ready-made gravy and I don't think that was the case back then. Sad ! We saved this place specifically for our last evening and were very disappointed today. 👨‍🍳 look at my review back then. I hope next year you have another chef again. By the way, in our opinion, the young man was often unfocused and stood in the kitchen wasting time and chewing gum while serving and talking is not good. The 3 stars for the good service are only for the young, friendly Eastern European female waitress.

A great restaurant with a beautiful view...The staff and the food were simply great...we had the onion roast and liver dumpling soup, such fine meat and cooked to perfection, the fried potatoes with it were also great...If we go back We would love to come back if we are close... A little tip...reserve a table in advance...it's great online

Unfortunately the roast pork was out, but the alternatives were very tasty and the view of Ruhpolding in the evening was amazing. The Kaiserschmarrn wasn't as fluffy as I like it.

Anyone who wasn't there wasn't in Ruhpolding

We came on the recommendation of friends who had recently vacationed in Ruhpolding and had visited the Brandleralm several times The ambience, which is actually very nice, was seriously disturbed by an unpleasant incident: We sat directly at the food counter and had to witness the (probable) boss/landlady of the inn unpleasantly dressing down the very committed, hard-working and friendly waitress (with an Eastern European accent) because there had been a misunderstanding between the waitress and the kitchen when ordering . In my opinion, something like that in front of the guests' ears is not possible! You can also do it in a friendly way, because it certainly wasn't intentional happened. The waitress didn't deserve this! This approach ruined our mood! We won't be coming back! Otherwise the food was good...

It is advisable to reserve. We decided spontaneously and didn't get a seat, the young waiter was very friendly. Few parking spaces, it is recommended to walk. Great view.

Wonderful view, friendly service. But unfortunately the food wasn't right. It was served just 5 minutes after ordering - lukewarm and with a taste that unfortunately continued throughout the night. Dumplings and coleslaw were watered down. It's a shame.

We were guests at the Brandler Alm late in the evening (around 8:30 p.m.). The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. We were served very nicely and didn't have to wait long for both the drinks and the food. The food was good but not exceptional. The view is simply spectacular. Definitely worth a visit! The prices are high, but I can understand that given the location and the great view. There were enough parking spaces available at that time.

One of the most beautiful views in all of Ruhpolding! The menu is varied and creative, the food was super tasty, the portions were very large and all without a long wait! The Kaiserschmarren is highly recommended, as is everything we had on the table. The cold draft beers were served quickly and always attentively by the service! We will be back and can only recommend the Brandler Alm…

A really nice inn in a beautiful location above Ruhpolding. When the weather is nice the view is wonderful and when the weather is bad you can sit inside in a nice atmosphere. The food tastes very good, the sauce on the roast pork reminds me of my grandmother's sauce, and the service is attentive and very friendly. We have been to the Brandler several times and will definitely come back on our next vacation.

We were here for the first time today and have to say that we have already been to several restaurants in Austria but have never had such a delicious Kaiserschmarren as at the Brandler Alm. Highly recommended, especially with the plum roaster. Homemade fresh keeps it up definitely from Holzkirchen again.

So I have to say I didn't like it. Food was okay, service was okay and the ambience was more than apparent. All in all, for me personally it's not worth another visit - there are nicer and better alpine pastures.

A very nice restaurant with excellent food and a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. The price-performance ratio is right here. The prices are slightly higher, but you get a rustic alpine pasture with good food and a wonderful view. It is recommended to reserve here in advance as the Alm is very busy. The parking options are rather limited (depending on the time) and the road is sometimes very narrow to the Alm. We were lucky to get a parking space, but next time I would stop a little further down and walk there. Of course, that shouldn't be a negative point, since it's still an alpine pasture and not a restaurant with a large parking lot. In short: again at any time!

A must in Ruhpolding, great view, good food

We visited the Brandler Alm on a weekday evening. The table reservation via the website worked without any problems. The view from the terrace was simply magnificent, with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and picturesque Ruhpolding. The dishes were lovingly prepared and individual requests were also taken into account. The taste was just perfect. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The homemade Kaiserschmarren was the perfect sweet end to a wonderful evening.

We had dinner there yesterday. It was just PERFECT!!!! The ambience and the view of the valley are very beautiful. The food was super delicious and 100% homemade. We had the celery schnitzel and the lumberjack steak. For dessert there was the most delicious Kaiserschmarn. The staff was always friendly, helpful and professional. We'll definitely be back and keep it up.

What can you say - you missed something if you weren't there. We've been to the Brandler Alm on every holiday in Ruhpolding so far and we're thrilled every time. Beautiful inn with a great view. The food is great and you are warmly welcomed, you can tell that from the first moment. Definitely make a reservation. One of the best restaurants I know.

Very nice beer garden with a great view of Ruhpolding. You should make a reservation. I had the celery schnitzel which was really very well done. Parking spaces are limited, it is better to park in the valley and walk about 500 m uphill to the restaurant

In a special place, food was nice..

We have been here at least 10 times and always find it beautiful. Not just because of the wonderful view, but especially because of the delicious food and the friendly service. It is highly recommended to stop here.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, vor allem die Käsespätzle, der Kaiserschmarrn und das Schnitzel. Nur leider war es eher teuer und die Portionen etwas klein. Mein Kind hat ihren Teller Käsespätzle komplett leer gegessen, hatte danach aber noch Hunger.

Currently the best cheese spaetzle in town.

We have never experienced anything like this: We drove from Munich to the Brandler Alm for a nice Friday evening meal. The weather was fantastic. When we arrived half of the outside area was occupied. 3 more tables were reserved and the remaining free tables had chairs folded up - so they were clearly not ready for customers. I then went in and told the waitress that there were two of us and we would like to eat outside. The lady then asked if we had reserved. I replied, no, we didn't make a reservation. She then said that unfortunately that wasn't possible because it might rain and then everyone would want to sit inside. I was a bit irritated at first, it was a bright blue summer day - without rain, without anything. I then tried again to understand whether she was serious or if it was a joke. But she was serious. We then left again and discovered a restaurant in the neighboring town. Attached is the view from the terrace. The store is an absolute no-go.

A great place! Very nicely located, great view from the beer garden. A very pleasant atmosphere. The waitress really knew her very well and gave us wonderful recommendations. The beer garden is very popular - you should definitely book in advance and if there are no free tables on a day, it's worth trying again!

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ruhpolding. The portions are large, tasty and freshly prepared. The service staff are nice, fast and attentive. The roast pork with two types of dumplings, the mushroom cream schnitzel with spaetzle, the Styrian fried chicken salad and the Kaiserschmarren were particularly good. Nice view over Ruhpolding and the mountains. Reservation makes sense.
