Kaiserschmarrn and cheese bacon platters are amazing 💫✨

The most pleasant alpine pasture in the Chiemgau Alps in a fantastic landscape. Always friendly staff and the Kaiserschmarren is THE benchmark for all alpine huts within a radius of at least 100 km - fantastic and a real treat! But all other dishes are also highly recommended. Drinks are available chilled from the wooden trough at the water fountain. It was a pleasure :-)

From the Urschlau car park the route went up moderately along a forest road. Along a lively stream that babbles along in a very calming way. The extensive Röthelmoos nature reserve lies in front of us. On the left, the Hörndlwand rises imposingly. At a fork in the road there are signs for the Dandalm and Langerbaueralm alpine pastures. Today we decided on the Dandlalm because the pub music was spuid. Quit spuid. We stopped here and had a tasty meal. The Alm is definitely worth a stop.

The Alm is beautifully situated and can be easily reached from several directions by MTB or on foot. Good facilities, loungers etc. The staff is friendly. There is a lot going on on weekends and public holidays. The Kaiserschmarren is absolutely recommended!

Beautiful alpine pasture in a fantastic setting with self-service. The girls from the Alm were super nice. We got 1x cup of coffee, 2x pieces of cake...around 12 EUR...well...(In the bottom of the coffee there was the grounds from the poorly cleaned pot...NoGo. A new coffee was offered ...but that shouldn't be the case) There are alpine pastures with a better price/performance ratio.

A beautiful hiking destination! However, we were here on our bikes. Rustic alpine pasture where you can enjoy typical dishes. When the weather is good, it gets crowded very quickly.

The Kaiserschmarrn tastes excellent, as does the cheese. The selection of drinks is large and perfectly chilled in a wooden trough.

As holidaymakers, we visited the “Dandlalm” for the second time during a mountain bike tour from Ruhpolding/Urschlau/Weitsee/Ruhpolding (almost 40 km), because it is simply rustic and tastes good. There are, among other things, delicious homemade cakes and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In addition, hearty dishes and snacks. The waiting time for Kaiserschmarrn can take up to 30 minutes at peak times, as there is only a small kitchen in the Alm and Kaiserschmarrn is known to be the most popular “classic” on the Alm. We can recommend a stop at the Dandlalm and will visit it again on your next holiday in the area.

A great excursion destination that welcomes hikers with its simplicity and good Kaiserschmarren and delicious snacks. The beer and other drinks are and are constantly cooled by overflowing water troughs and reward everyone for their climb. Although the climb is a bit grandiose, you can also get there on sand and tar roads in 70 minutes on foot or by bike. But for the enthusiast there is the hiking trail through the forest.

Despite all the understanding for the challenges on an alpine pasture... unfortunately that was nothing. Coffee = black colored water, cake bone dry. 4 service staff stood on their feet (despite self-service), didn't know the simplest prices and had to type out 2 coffees and 1 cake with the calculator, which required 2 people. (Something like that always reminds me of the joke “How many East Frisians do you need to change a light bulb?” Answer: three - one who holds the light bulb and two who turn the chair.) A third fetched the dried-up cake (from Ruhpolding? ), which took “a while”. You almost couldn't watch... What a puppet show. A pity.

Great location. The Kaiserschmarrn used to be better. When the young team is there, things go well. Today, however, complete disaster, orders mixed up, someone else ordered food. Well, then it was gone, but the waitress just laughed. No apology, just the flippant note that I would then get my money back. Or just eat something else. Very disappointing. I've been there many times, I live in the neighboring village, and I find this behavior very embarrassing.

A beautiful alpine pasture with good food and very nice staff. Animals, chickens and roosters, run around freely. 👍 You can easily reach the Alm on foot. The drinks are in the fountain with chilled water. Any time!!!

A beautiful alpine pasture surrounded by animals in a picturesque valley. Just the right place to recharge your batteries and enjoy the beauty of nature in the middle of a hike or bike ride. The food is fantastic and the beer is delicious 😁.

Very nice alpine pasture with good food and nice people. Easy to reach on foot or by MtB. From Weitsee there is a very nice driveway along the stream.

Kleine, urige Alm ohne Schnik - Schnak, leckereren kleinen Brotzeiten. Die Alm ist gut zu erreichen zu Fuß oder mit dem Bike.

Normaler Almbetrieb, alles ok, Abends lange Sonne.

Urige Alm welche gut zu erreichen ist. Getränke als Selbstbedienung aus dem Holztrog. Einfache und leckere Speisen. Die Getränke mit 4.00 Euro leider etwas zu teuer.

Sehr schöne kleine Alm, tolle Bewirtung, der Almkästeller und die Kaiserschmarrn sind ein Traum... Immer wieder gerne.

Tolle Einkehr als Zwischenstopp einer 7 km Runde von Urschlau aus. Schöne urige Alm mit vielen Sitzplätzen, großer Getränkeauswahl und netter Bedienung. Essen ist wie man es auf der Alm erwartet mit leckerer Brotzeit (Almkaas ist zu empfehlen) und Kuchen. Dazu sind Katze, Hühner und Hasen auf der Alm anzutreffen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und kommen gern wieder.

Selbstbedienung aus dem Bierkasten für sagenhaft teure 4 €/Bier Weil ein Speckbrot eine viertel Std dauern sollte, stellte ich die Frage, ob ich es gleich bezahlen könnte und mir das Brot dann jemand bringt. Unwirrsche Antwort: "Zahlen kannst es schon, aber bringen tun wir gar nix!" Ab einer gewissen Intensität ist Unfreundlichkeit sogar ein Erlebnis. Das ist auf der Dandlalm definitiv der Fall.. ;) Auf die Frage nach einem Beleg ergab sich folgende Konversation: "Wir haben keinen Strom für eine Kasse." "Womit brennt dann Ihr Küchenlicht?" "Strom haben wir erst seit letztem Jahr. Und Internet für eine Kasse haben wir auch nicht." "Eine Kasse funktioniert auch ohne Internet." Ich bekam dann eine manuell ausgefüllte Quittung für meine Getränke. Insgesamt ein Erlebnis

Für uns ist es ein muss wenn wir in Ruhpolding sind einmal müssen wir hoch auf die Dandl.Alm Sie liegt an einem tollen Ort einfach mal kurz entspannen und ausruhen und natürlich den guten Kaiserschmarrn genießen Und auch die Frische Butter Wir waren vor zwei Tage wieder dort es war sehr schön kommen im September wieder dorthin

Hier pausieren die Radler, den die 400 Meter - einfach ! - zum Hauptdurchgangswanderweg sparen sich die Fußgänger.....so ist es etwas ruhiger hier....

Sehr gut zu erreichen.1 Stunde Gehzeit vom Parkplatz Röthlmoos. Gemütliche Alm mit sehr netten Gastgebern und super Brotzeiten.

Sehr schöne Alm mit Verzehr vor Ort. Hauptsächlich kalte Platten, aber auch kalte, wassergekühlte Getränke. Personal war sehr freundlich und barfuß ;) Sanitäre Anlagen waren sehr sauber.

Wunderschön gelegene urige Alm! Es gibt reichlich Auswahl an kalten Getränken aus dem Naturkühlschrank. Auswahl wegen fehlender Etiketten etwas schwierig😉! Zur Not fragen. Der Service ist freundliche und schnell. Das Essen ist lecker und kommt zügig an den Tisch. Die Toiletten sind für eine Alm überraschend gut. Immer eine Wanderung wert👍🏻
