Gaststätte Beim Häusler in Ruhpolding

We were here for dinner. The service was very good and the food was delicious. The Kaiserschmarren was awesome! The best I've ever had.

We were in the region over New Year's Eve and were happy to stop here. During high season you have to reserve in advance, like everywhere in Ruhpolding. This was our downfall during our spontaneous first visit. It is a small alpine pasture with authentic and very tasty cuisine. Everyone enjoyed it very much and the price-performance ratio was right. Particularly noteworthy is the very tasty Kaiserscharn... The service is great, everything was perfect, we would love to come back.

The food was okay but not too much and actually rather little compared to other restaurants in the region. Unfortunately, the entrance area was very untidy and not really inviting. The service was okay but sometimes a bit careless and more of a sense of duty than passion.

Ein sehr uriges Häusle,authentisch mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Unser Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und war frisch zubereitet. Wir sind selbst aus der Gastro Branche und können euch nur empfehlen es auszuprobieren. Sehr lecker 😋 es erinnert an gute alte Zeiten.

Service wonderful, very friendly. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio for the food wasn't that good. The burger for almost €18 was definitely not worth the money. The käsespatzen were served without roasted onions and the beer cheese was more rancid than tasty... Drinks great

My wife and I were in Ruhpolding for a few days and visited this restaurant 3 times. The food is very good and the service is very hardworking and, despite the great stress, very friendly 😃 We can recommend the Zum Häusler restaurant with a clear conscience.

My friend and I were turned away by an unfriendly waiter on the grounds of “closed company”. It was very obviously not a closed company, which another waitress confirmed. We were very shocked.

This restaurant is really awesome. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is perfect and the view is perfect. We found this restaurant by chance and loved it. You definitely have to make a reservation there

Went here for dinner (house style burger, salad plate). Unfortunately, the burger was very dry, the slice of cheese on it was hard and brittle, and the side dish (fries) seemed to be insignificant. The salad plate had few fresh vegetables and far too many pickled side dishes. For the prices quoted, the portion size and quality were simply not appropriate. We also heard similar assessments from our neighbors at the table, e.g. for different schnitzel variations - simply too expensive and presented too simply. Service was good and fairly quick for the number of guests.

Only one star if it says "open" on the internet and then at the "inn" it says "only open from 5 p.m. due to illness". As if it wasn't possible to post something like that on short notice!

Very nice clocky restaurant with great food! Price performance completely ok. Great service, nice beer garden. Reservation is recommended. 😉

I can only warmly recommend the restaurant Zum Häusler, there are lots of delicious dishes and drinks. The operator was very warm and friendly. We can only recommend it with all our hearts, especially what could be better than delicious food, delicious drinks, an incredibly beautiful view and atmosphere. Simply great.

The Häusler burger comes with a narrow, very thin pattie. The main course cream mushroom came with 1 dumpling. But both were very tasty. But the prices are simply too high. I am now in favor of weight or quantity information in the menu. The waiter was quick and “practical”: “You are welcome to take your own ashtrays, they are around the corner.” But the service was good. The ambience is great. Nice mountain views, lots of parking and easy to get to.

We wanted to go out for something to eat today at around 5 p.m. When we got out of the car we were immediately turned away, everything is reserved here. We didn't want to linger there - just wanted to eat something quickly. Although the guests who were still there were just leaving - there was no one else there - we didn't get a chance, especially since not all tables would be occupied within the next hour. No matter - that's not how you treat guests. This house will no longer see us. Impossible😡

It's very pleasant to sit in the garden with a view of the Rauschberg, in the immediate vicinity of the golf course. The service is very friendly and accommodating, the food (room mushrooms with bread dumplings) was very tasty.

Good evening, Had a really nice and delicious evening. Went there for dinner with 4 adults. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good. From the starter salad to the Alsatian-style sausage salad and various types of hamburgers. Plus dessert. Everyone was very satisfied and full. Thank you.

The “Häusler” in Ruhpolding is located outside in the Zell district and is a much-frequented stop on the golf course. There is also a "separate parking lot for modern golfers" who can make themselves comfortable and do their round on the Segway...🫣 Personally, I prefer the original golfers, but to each his own... We sat comfortably under the parasol on the terrace with a view of the Rauschberg and drank our beer, which I personally didn't like... The landlord is friendly and very talkative and informative...

It's just nice to sit on the freshly mown lawn in the beer garden. Parasols provide shade and there is little going on on the small country road. The salads are delicious and very plentiful. On the other hand, the portion of the hamburger with fries is quite manageable. The service is very rushed. If there are few staff, it is advisable to switch to self-service outside, at least as far as the ordering process is concerned.

A destination on every holiday so far (summer and winter) and always extremely good. Today I just came to eat in the afternoon.... The burger was good, the fries were very strongly seasoned, Then bread dumplings (very good) in cream sauce with mushrooms, which was extremely salty (inedible). However, they offered to make it again. I didn't want to because of time constraints. On the other hand, it didn't make a very good impression that the entire team, including the boss, were sitting together outside and smoking and customers weren't even greeted. When we said goodbye, there was no “Hello” from the boss either. Very unfortunate.....

The price/performance ratio here is great. Great service, great food, great ambience. Unfortunately we only discovered this great location on the last day of our vacation 🤷‍♂️ but we'll be back 👍💥👍🍺 but then!!!

Great location right in the Ruhpolding golf course - next to tee 15 - with a fantastic view of the mountains. Food and service good, I remember it being better. Seat cushions that are heavily soiled with cat hair cannot be removed or replaced

The roast pork with dumplings was very good

We ate in the large garden at home. The interior of the restaurant is modern but retains a rustic charm. The food was excellent, we particularly enjoyed the baked chicken. The Kässspätzle had a very special cheese taste that you have to like. Since the next day was a rest day, we were treated to a free chocolate dessert. There was also a schnapps on the house to say goodbye.

We celebrated our wedding in the Jockl-Alm with Florian & Christina & their team. Planning with the two of them was super uncomplicated, here you can experience real restaurateurs who are passionate about their craft and who support you with the organization with passion and know-how! Our special wishes were also accommodated and the celebration itself ran very skilfully. We would celebrate our big day just like that again and we would also like to take this opportunity to thank Florian, Christina and the entire TOP team! You made our day very special! We won't forget that! We are looking forward to being able to come back to you as normal guests very soon!! Keep it as good as it is, it fits perfectly! :)

The restaurant has a great location! Also ideal for children, as they can let off steam here. There is also a golf course. The service was very competent and very friendly! Now about the food: Yours truly had a Surf & Surf plate My wife tagliatelle with vegetables The plates were beautifully presented and beautifully garnished. Unfortunately my food was absolutely too salty. After I explained my "problem" to the very nice waiter, I was offered to prepare a new plate immediately. At my request I got my food new and it was absolutely excellent!! My wife's tagliatelle were delicious and also served beautifully. All in all a very nice and great guesthouse in a beautiful idyll and good food too. I think the prices for this location are okay and manageable. Keep it up Team Häusler👍🏼👍🏼

In my opinion the best restaurant in Ruhpolding. We were here on March 31, 2023 with a reservation and were not disappointed. Food is phenomenal, waiters super attentive and friendly, toilets clean and the entire interior is really beautifully decorated. We were never without drinks, even though the place was closed due to December 31st. was packed. The waiter was super friendly and also advised and helped us with the choice of food, and all special requests were kindly accepted and fulfilled. My rump steak with bacon beans, potatoes and onion jus was really the best thing I've ever eaten in a restaurant, especially because of the light pepper crust (it wasn't on the menu, but it tasted good, so I could possibly write about it People who don't like spicy food). I still dream about onion jus today, it was so delicious. Simply perfectly seasoned and a great combination. Everyone else enjoyed it too, without exception.

Completely empty at 6:45 p.m., apparently everything was reserved. Very rude comment from two employees that it was Christmas and nothing was possible without a reservation. It was Christmas two days before, and there were quite a few places available so you could stay. The meal took a long time. (Kasspatzen with chives without fried onions)

We were here for the second time today. "Do you have a reservation?" No! The inn was more than half empty. The rejection was very unfriendly. The first meal was OK, but the waiting time was borderline because there weren't many guests here either. This is how you lose guests who recommend you.

We were at a birthday party in the neighboring building which was lovingly decorated. The food (buffet) was very good and plentiful. The service was very nice.

Schnelle freundliche Bedienung und gutes Essen

Große Erwartungen blieben leider aus. Unmotievirtes und unfreundliches Personal! Essen war nicht berauschend! Fleisch vom Steak Housburger war zäh und trocken. Fast kein Fleisch und Soße zum Schweinebraten. Schnitzel als Nuggets verkauft. Preis/ Leistung war leider nicht gerechtfertigt!!! Schade aber schöner Biergarten.

Wir waren diesmal zum Kaffee trinken hier und kommen gerne wieder. Guter und freundlicher Service. Toller Blick auf die umliegenden Berge.

Sehr schöne Lokalität, tolles Essen und exzellenter Service.

Wir waren leider nur einmal da, aber da war das Essen richtig gut! Die Preise sind fair, die Bedienung freundlich und das Ambiente richtig gemütlich. Wir hatten Plätze in der Wirtsstube und da ist alles richtig schön und traditionell eingerichtet. Wir kommen wieder! Danke auch an den netten Kellner, der uns noch ein Plätzchen ohne Reservierung geben konnte.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung, leider fanden wir das Essen nicht so schmackhaft und wurde auf angeschlagenen Tellern serviert! Der Aussenbereich ist schön, der Durchgang zu den Toiletten ist allerdings sehr unordentlich! Der Service war aber sehr gut!

Sehr schöne Lage des Restaurants direkt neben einem Golfplatz und die Berge im Hintergrund. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wir aßen die Käsespätzle, Schnitzel und Burger; alles wurde zeitig gebracht und war sehr gut. Preise sind auch völlig okay (siehe Speisekarte auf der Webseite) Man sollte aber reservieren, alle Tische waren besetzt (zwei Zeiten: 17.30 und 19Uhr). Also alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert :-)

Ein Insidertip, und nur mit Reservierung. Angefangen von der grandiosen Speisekarte mit der Geschichte der Häuslerˋs, dann der tolle Ausblick auf die Berge und den Golfplatz, daneben der große Party/Feierraum mit viel Platz drinnen und draußen.Ja und dann eben das handwerklich gelungene Essen vom Schweinebraten mit Knödel und die Brotzeit mit Obstler.Hmmm das war Freude und ein Festmahl. Danke an die freundliche Bedienung und die Mannschaft in der Küche. Ihr macht einen tollen Job in einer beneidenswerten Gegend. Wir drücken euch die Daumen, das bei euch noch viele liebe und zufriedene Gäste einkehren und euch weiterempfehlen, so wie wir.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir durften in der "Jockl Alm" einen Geburtstag mit knapp 30 Leuten feiern. Es war der Wahnsinn! Von Anfang bis zum Schluss alles rund um perfekt. Wir hatten ein Grill-Buffet dabei und waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, egal ob Grillgut, Salate oder Soßen, niemand hatte etwas auszusetzen. Die Damen an der Bar waren aufmerksam, super freundlich und es entstanden keinerlei Wartezeiten bzgl. der Getränke. Auch der Chef war vor Ort und hat sich immer mal wieder Zeit genommen, stand hinter dem Grill und war jederzeit greifbar. Alles in allem war es für uns ein perfekter Abend, in einem sehr schönen Ambiente.

Bayerische Gastfreundschaft Fehlanzeige! Das Essen können wir leider nicht beurteilen, Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben uns kurzfristig entschieden Abendessen einzunehmen, wir hatten nicht reserviert und freundlich gefragt, ob eventuell noch ein Platz für drei Personen frei wäre, dieses wurde verneint, wir waren hungrig und natürlich enttäuscht, als Begründung kam : wir nehmen nur Reservierung an in der Hauptsaison und heutzutage hat doch schließlich jeder ein Telefon. so einen Spruch kann man, wenn man hungrig ist und eine lange Anreise hat sicherlich nicht gebrauchen, sieht so ein serviceorientiertes Verhalten aus?

Ein sehr schöner uriger Biergarten, mit super leckerem Essen und kühlem Weißbier. Der Service ist kompetent und nett.

Nach einem Arbeitstag auf dem Campingplatz schnell eben zum Häusler . Der kalte Rinderbraten mit Kürbiskernöl. Hat n Mich angenehm überrascht.

Mehr aus Versehen sind wir hier mit Kindern und Großeltern gelandet, und wir hatten einen rundum tollen Abend. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung freundlich und herzlich, der Raum gemütlich ohne betont-urig zu sein und der Johannisbeerobstler der perfekte Abschluss. Vielen Dank!!

Sehr gute Küche, freundliche Gastgeber und ein tolles Ambiente wenn man in der Abendsonne sein leckeres Essen verzehren kann.

Ich war mit meinem Mann und Sohn Abends eingekehrt beim Häusler. Die Karte ist nicht sooo groß, was ich persönlich ganz gut finde, so ist die Qual der Wahl nicht so groß. Mein Sohn hat Spätzle mit Bratensoße gegessen. Er war begeistert und hat alles leer gefuttert. Mein Mann hatte einen super leckeren Burger. Der Burger Bun war super echt super, nicht so ein 0815 Bun. Das Fleisch war sehr zart und schön rosa. Nichts zähes oder latschiges. Ich hatte die besten Käsespätzle gegessen, die ich je hatte. Ich mag kein Emmentaler daher war es klasse das die Käsespätzle mit Bierkäse gemacht wurden. Sooooo lecker!!! Der Häusler ist einfach zu finden. Man wird sehr freundlich begrüßt, sollte aber vorher reservieren, da es sonst schwierig mit einem Tisch wird. Die Inneneinrichtung und rustikal und gemütlich. Man fühlt sich gleich heimelich. Essen top! Freundlichkeit top! Atmosphäre sehr gut!
