Traditional, cozy inn, lovingly furnished and with a warm and attentive landlady. Delicious food comes in large portions. If the weather is good, be sure to sit on the sun terrace and enjoy the view!

Rustic, cozy, place to chat with funny hikers and stop before the return journey across Lake Königssee. Maybe the younger couple from Saxony is reading this - we were in a good mood here and on the Jenner, in a party mood (70) 🤗.

During Corona times we had to reserve here in advance, which isn't a bad thing. The restaurant was well attended and we were kindly assigned a table at the counter. The food was ordered and arrived in a reasonable time. The taste of the food was average, I would say 3 out of 5 stars. However, what we overheard at the table at the counter was loud gossip between the waiters and the boss about how stupid all of their customers were. Something like that is unprofessional and, in my opinion, not possible at all. What topped it off was the absolutely exorbitant prices! The drinks here are significantly more expensive than usual in the region.

Quaint, cozy & super friendly people! We actually wanted to eat here, but unfortunately the kitchen was already closed. So we just had a drink - but the team still looked after us really well! The atmosphere in the hut is really cozy, and the people there are real Bavarian originals - warm, sociable and super hospitable. Our dog was also warmly welcomed, which we really appreciate. Next time we will definitely come earlier to try the food too

We were at the restaurant for dinner. The waitresses were all very helpful and thoughtful. The food tasted great as always, although the portions may have been a little smaller. But definitely an inn that you can recommend.

In June 2023 we visited the “Fishing at Königssee”! The selection of freshly smoked fish, particularly the trout, char and whitefish, was simply delicious. Every bite was a pleasure and you can tell that a lot of love and care goes into this. The fresh bread that was served went perfectly with the fish specialties and rounded off the taste experience. The beer I enjoyed with it was also delicious and refreshing. I would particularly like to emphasize that the prices are absolutely fair - there are no rip-offs or overpriced offers here.
