Seealm Königsee in Schönau a.Königssee

Ich kann persönlich nicht ganz nachvollziehen, warum dieses Restaurant eine so hohe Bewertung hat. Entweder haben andere Gäste deutlich andere Erwartungen an Essen und Service als ich, oder meine Erfahrung war eher die Ausnahme. Nach einer langen Wanderung und der späten Rückkehr von der Jennerbahn bot sich ein Besuch hier zwar an, insgesamt blieb der Eindruck jedoch enttäuschend. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich die Getränke sowie die Pommes, die geschmacklich wirklich gut waren. Wenig nachvollziehbar fand ich allerdings, dass zu einer Portion Pommes lediglich eine kleine Portion Mayonnaise gereicht wurde. Gerade solche Kleinigkeiten tragen aus meiner Sicht viel zur Zufriedenheit der Gäste bei. Den US-Beef-Burger würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Brötchen war für meinen Geschmack deutlich zu hart, das Fleisch eher zu stark gegart und der Belag sehr sparsam. Neben einer kleinen Tomatenscheibe bestand der geschmackliche Schwerpunkt vor allem aus einer Curry-Mango-Sauce, die mich eher an gewürzten Ketchup erinnert hat. Der Käse war in Ordnung, insgesamt wirkte der Burger jedoch wenig hochwertig und konnte den aufgerufenen Preis nicht rechtfertigen. Die Preise empfand ich generell als recht hoch, was in einer touristisch geprägten Gegend zwar nicht ungewöhnlich ist, die Erwartung an die Qualität aber entsprechend steigen lässt. Der Service war zwar zügig, wirkte auf mich jedoch recht unpersönlich. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen, allerdings hatte ich den Eindruck, dass der Kontakt eher routiniert abgearbeitet wurde als wirklich gastfreundlich zu sein. Insgesamt war der Besuch für mich leider enttäuschend. Für eine schnelle Einkehr nach einer Wanderung mag das Restaurant ausreichend sein, kulinarisch und beim Service hatte ich jedoch deutlich mehr erwartet.

Sind nach einer Wandertour eingekehrt. Wow. Ein Italiener der es kann. Super leckeres Essen, eine grandiose Terrasse und alles zum angemessenen Preis. Was will man mehr. Wir kommen wieder. 🤘 Nachtrag 2026: Essen ist immer noch sehr gut. 👍 Jedoch ist der Service abgeflacht. Probleme bei der Bestellannahme, und vor allem beim servieren. Das Essen kam mit so einem zeitlichen Versatz, dass ein Essen bereits vertilgt war und dann erst der Rest kam. Hier ist Handlungsbedarf.

Wir waren bereits mehrmals da, speziell für die leckeren griechischen Gerichte, aber auch die Pizzen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Service war sehr gut, auch der Platz direkt am großen Parkplatz Königssee spitze. Man kann draußen und auch innen bequem und gut sitzen. In der Hauptsaison ist Tischreservierung zu empfehlen

Die Location war sehr schön. Toll ist der Spielplatz für Kids 😊 der Kellner war zwar freundlich aber wirkte eher kühl und sehr reserviert. Das Hackfleisch bei den Burgern war Medium gebraten, was bei Hackfleisch eher gefährlich ist. Man muss dabei sagen, dass man das Hack durchgebraten haben möchte. Die Bitte, das nochmal auf den Grill zu legen, kam der Kellner zwar nach, schien aber eher verständnislos. Schade, ansonsten war die Pizza sehr gut und das gesamtambiente top.

Sehr urig innen, draußen schöne Aussicht. Bedienung flott und freundlich, Essen war sehr lecker und gute Portion.

Immer wieder gerne! Tolle Location

Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und hat hervorragend geschmeckt! Viel besser als die Restaurants rund um den See. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant hat montags geöffnet, was in der Gegend selten ist. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir innerhalb von vier Tagen zweimal dort waren.

Super Ambiente, super Service, perfektes Essen und gute Auswahl!

Abseits vom großen Rummel am See mit großer Terrasse und schönen Räumlickkeiten auch zum drinnen sitzen; ein großer und schöner Spielplatz ist direkt unterhalb der Terrasse und von dieser gut einsehbar; Ob richtig groß essen, klein essen oder Cafe oder Bier trinken, alles geht zu jeder Zeit. Wir haben Pizza gegessen, die war super; der Service schnell und freundlich und teuer wars auch nicht! es gibt nix zu meckern 😊

Rustikales Lokal im März in der Nebensaison als Familie mit 4 Kindern besucht. Ein flauschiger Kamin, sehr gute Pizzen, auch in Variationen als weiße Pizza die mal etwas anderes waren. Ein Burger und ein Hacksteak welches geschmaklich auch sehr gut war. Bei uns sehr positiv: Die bestellte Kinderpizza mit Salami und Schinken wurde ohne Salami gebracht und noch vor abstellen selbst vom Kellner mit einer Entschuldigung zurück genommen und in kürzester Zeit vollständig an den Tisch gebracht.

Der Besitzer war sehr aufmerksam und stellte uns Decken und Stuhlkissen zur Verfügung, sodass wir es sehr gemütlich hatten. Auch die Desserts waren köstlich; der Schokoladenkuchen wurde mit fünf verschiedenen Früchten serviert, was das gesamte Erlebnis sehr gelungen machte.

Wir waren diese Woche 2 mal in der Seealm Lago. Der Service war wirklich erstklassig, sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Pizza war so gut dass wir am nächsten Tag noch einmal zum Essen gekommen sind. Der Pizzateig war genau so wie ich ihn mag. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Das Essen war köstlich, und die Kellner gaben sich alle Mühe, Englisch zu sprechen. Man kann auch einen QR-Code scannen, um die englische Speisekarte einzusehen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! Der Weg dorthin ist zwar etwas steil, aber das Essen entschädigt dafür.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und die Portionen absolut ausreichend. Unser Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und wirklich sehr freundlich! Im nächsten Urlaub kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!

Schönes Plätzchen an der Sonne. Auch nur ein Bier geht und man wird nicht krumm angeguckt, weil man nicht speißt. Ein Blick in die Karte sagt aber, wir kommen noch einmal her mit ordentlich Hunger.

Das Wasser im Königssee ist sehr sauber. Ein Muss, wenn Sie nach München kommen.

We had a delicious pizza and chicken breast. Prices have exploded in recent years. We'll see if the prices come down again when VAT is reduced starting in January.

The service is super friendly, as is the location. The food is quite good.

We visited this restaurant on a normal weekday and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. First, we were served the T-bone steak without a plate, while the bruschetta arrived later. The meat was inedible, poorly prepared, and tasted disgusting. When we wanted to return it, the chef himself came to the table. Instead of showing understanding, he said the meat was good and we had to either eat it or take it with us and pay anyway. After that, he simply took it back and never brought it back. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the way we were treated was disrespectful, and the food was of very poor quality. We are truly disappointed and cannot recommend this restaurant.

I thought I'd go for pizza—wrong thought. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes offered on the menu. We opted for the bruschetta starter, a portion of cheese spaetzle, and a grilled plate. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend it! The service also left nothing to be desired. The location is also recommended for families with children. Right next to the terrace, the little ones have the opportunity to let off steam while the parents enjoy the delicacies.

The food itself is superb - I ordered a BBQ pork rib burger which comes with fries - it is very delicious and big portion. Just find it weird for how the waiter greeted me. I told him I am from Hong Kong, and he greeted me in Mandarin Chinese ("ni hao" & "xie xie"). While I appreciate his effort to greet customers in their local language, he actually got it wrong as Hongkongers' native language is Cantonese instead of Mandarin, and I know some Hongkongers do feel offended when being greeted in Mandarin. Another weird moment was he actively asked whether I would like to tip when I paid the bill - as far as I know the German tipping culture is rather subtle and it is rare for waiters to ask for a tip actively. It definitely felt kind of pushy.

I was absolutely thrilled with my first-class fillet steak, served on a hot slate plate. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The dessert, a homemade tiramisu, was also great. We are in the BGL because of the Munich trade fair and would like to visit this restaurant again at the weekend to say goodbye to this beautiful area. Absolute recommendation from Inge and Michael Eckhardt from Osnabrück.

Great service - the waitress was very friendly and always on her toes. :) Cheese spaetzle and grill plates are highly recommended. We got a seat in the full restaurant even though we hadn't made a reservation. Food, service and the rustic ambience were very good!

Fish was ok, vegetables tasted like they were out of the freezer bag. Potatoes? Only two small pieces could be found. Both for trout and zander. The trout right next door is really tasty. Sry but unfortunately that was a no go.

Good service. The food is mediocre. We ordered a tomato soup and a goulache soup, both were average and too salty. For the main course we had the forelle, which was less than average and a Wiener schnitzel, which was OK but not more than that.

Was totally disappointed. Very bad service. Three waiters there, not much going on and yet no one comes to the table to ask if you want anything else. After I drank my coffee and pushed the cup to the edge of the table, no one responded. Waiters walked past the table. Other guests were served their food and I put my cup over so that you could see that it was empty, no reaction. Eye contact recording failed. I also turned to the waiters a few times. Nobody was interested either. I would have liked to have had a drink there and maybe ordered a snack, but not like that. Would definitely not recommend the restaurant due to the poor service.

We had lunch at the Seealm Königsee on August 7th, 2024. We had looked at a few other restaurants in town beforehand, but they weren't particularly good in terms of price (expensive) or quality. We chose a table in the restaurant because there were a lot of wasps in the very nice beer garden due to the weather. The very friendly waitress was with us straight away and brought us the menu. We ordered schnitzel Viennese style, spagetti arrabiata and I took the Balkan plate. All the dishes were really top and the Balkan plate was the best Croatian dish I have ever eaten. The meat, the cevapchichi and everything else were perfectly fried, not dry and the side dishes were also very good. You can't even get this quality in Croatia these days. Highly recommended. I wish this restaurant was near us. I would be a regular straight away.
