Great, rustic gastronomy with simple and small dishes. Rich and delicious. All nice people and also visited by locals towards the evening. You can sink wonderfully here 😋🍺!!!

Visiting from US, and stopped here for dinner. Just about licked my plate clean. Kassler was delicious. Beer was cold. View amazing. Vibes off the chart. 10/10 recommend!

Quiet corner, but the idyll is somewhat disturbed by locals. The food is absolutely good, I can only recommend it. The service is fast, precise and also recommended. I also think that the ambience doesn't suffer despite the low volume. All in all, I am very satisfied and can only recommend it without any problems.

Yesterday at 5 p.m. you could still choose the spot, half an hour later everything was full! Great atmosphere / you get to talk to the other people at the table / tourists, locals are all in a good mood. The music was playing (Hubsi was playing) and we didn't have to wait long for food and drink / compliments to the crew outside and in the kitchen / just plain great / thank you 👍

Small and cozy Stüberl in Schönau am Königsee. We had a delicious and affordable Wienerschnitzel mit Pommes there. With a regional beer of course. We enjoyed it very much and although it was in the valley, you got an old-fashioned hut feeling when you sat down to eat. Staff are friendly and prices are fair. Great place to eat traditionally without too much frills.

The Achenstüberl is more of a pub than a restaurant. Accordingly, the facility takes a bit of getting used to. But still a little insider tip for me. The small menu offers simple dishes at a very fair price. The quality and portions are very good. We really enjoyed it and the young guy who served us (I don't know if it was the landlord, but it almost seemed like it) was very friendly, attentive and somehow entertaining. I can only recommend stopping there for dinner.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to the Achenstüberl and sat down in the beer garden. We were there around 4:45 p.m. and therefore still had a free choice. An hour later all tables were occupied. The food was super tasty and the portions were generous 👌🤤 The waiter was very attentive and immediately brought the dog water, the waitress who served us was super nice and also very attentive 🥰 our 3-year-old daughter was listened to patiently, even though she was busy. Big plus point ❤️ Price-performance ratio was right. We've had beer in other restaurants for €1 more per glass 😅 All in all a nice beer garden with delicious food and nice people at reasonable prices 👌

Just great since you can only pay in cash there, we had something to drink first and wanted to eat something later, but since our daughter was of course hungry as always, we ordered a Wienerschnitzel, which was in cash 💸 was still enough, the portion was so big that it was almost It was enough for the three of us and it was delicious too

We could not get a chance to taste a food at this place, but I will tell you about attitude. First we looked for a place to eat, found this place, reviews are good. Sat at the table outside, people around were drinking beer and eating. After some time owner came out and asked to sit closer because apparently there are 2 bars at the same place. We sat outside closer, then owner came again and asked to come inside to order, speaking German (we are English speaking, with a bit of German understanding, ordering in German usually), people started to smile, we smiled back. We came inside and asked for a menu cause situation was awkward, owner said something in German again, and showed us a paper on which ir was written 17:00. (time was 16:05). Ok, we thanked and gone to another place. 2 stars for a performance.

Rustic, down-to-earth, simply beautiful with very nice people, the Bavarian regulars' table was so funny, we felt very comfortable, the food was very tasty, great home cooking without any frills. The prices are very fair, not a rip-off, like in most tourist places Areas.We would love to come back.

Absolute insider tip. Oops, not anymore. The Stüberl team are the hottest. Willi is the best soup cook! And once the Maggi surface circles, then it goes around. In a nutshell: You've come to the right place!

The staff is just super nice. The food was very good. The roast pork was very good. The women really liked the salad with chicken strips. The fireplace gave off lovely warmth. Great restaurant with reasonable prices.

For us it's a simple but one of the most rustic locations in Schönau, with great food and great service.

The food was good! As a tourist you will meet hospitable locals who sometimes hold their regulars' meetings there. I really liked the direct and open manner. The landlord is obviously an experienced mountain hiker, as he described the Watzmann as a “practice mountain”. Very impressive. Many greetings from the north.

We ate here twice during our vacation, firstly because our holiday apartment was around the corner and secondly because we were impressed by the food and the service. If the weather is good you can sit in the beer garden, although there is a roof even in bad weather. The service was quick and always totally friendly and personable on both visits and answered every question in a friendly manner. Now I know my way around the region's schnapps. ;-) The portions of the food are great, everything always tasted great and was fresh. I had a classic schnitzel once and the devil's toast the second time (I can only recommend it, incredibly delicious!!!). So really great in terms of price and taste! We will definitely come back on our next Königssee vacation.

The Achenstüberl is a very rustic restaurant. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Everyone gets enough here and the portions are really generous. Although the selection is limited, Bavarian cuisine actually has something to offer for everyone. The service is super nice and always has a quick saying on their lips. You immediately feel warmly welcome. The ambience in the restaurant could be better.

Richtig gute sehr schmackhafte Küche. Schneller sehr freundlicher Service. Es war richtig voll, aber es gab keine allzulangen Wartezeiten. Keine überladene Karte, die Preise überraschen in der heutigen Zeit. Wir haben in der Nachbarschaft schon deutlich mehr bezahlt. Wir waren super zufrieden.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliche Bedienung, frischer knackiger Salat und leckere Pommes,..leider passte die Qualität des panierten Schnitzel nicht ganz dazu, die Bedienung hat unsere Kritik allerdings sehr ernst genommen,…trotzdem schade, nach 5 Tagen Pizza und Pasta in Bella Italia haben wir uns wohl zu sehr auf ein Wiener Schnitzel gefreut

Seit Jahren ist diese urige Gaststätte mit einem Biergarten unser Stammlokal. Wer auf gute Hausmannskost Wert legt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und stets zu einem netten Gespräch bereit. Die Preise sind angemessen, die Portionen groß und sehr lecker.

Weils einfach koudig is und koa alkoholfreies Bier gibt! Weida so!

Super tolle, urige Gaststätte mit tollem Biergarten im Sommer. Im Winterurlaub tolle Stimmung in der Hütte. Super nette Betreiber und nette Bedienungen (wechseln täglich). Wir sind hier noch nie enttäuscht worden. Klasse Essen. Geschmacklich und grosse Portionen. Hier kocht der Chef noch selber ;-) Ein echter Geheimtipp für Gäste hier in Schönau am Königssee.

Qualität hat deutlich nachgelassen, wir hatten alle das Käseschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, geschmacklich ganz ok nur hätten die Bratkartoffeln bisschen mehr Zeit in der Pfanne bleiben können dann wären sie auch wärmer gewesen.

Sehr gute einfache Küche zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Ich hatte gute Fleischplanzerl mit knusprigen Bratkartoffeln und einer leckeren Soße. Der Service war nett, schnell und sehr freundlich. Leider gab es kein alkoholfreies Bier oder Radler. Das Restaurant ist eine gemütlich urige Hütte. Wir saßen im Biergarten in dem zum Glück ein Zelt stand, da es geregnet hat.

Wir waren mehrmals da,weil das Essen super lecker und preiswert ist.Die Bedienung ist super nett und man muss nicht lange auf das Essen warten.In Schönau mit Abstand beste Restaurant. Es top !!!!!

Gemütliche Gaststätte mit einer aufmerksamen Kellnerin.Essen war gut,sehr lecker und reichlich.Da halte ich gerne wieder an.Musik is auch in Ordnung und die einheimischen wissen, wie man die Fetzen fliegen lässt ;) :D sehr unterhaltsam. :D

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs ein paar Mal im Achenstüberl. Das Personal war immer überaus freundlich, fleissig und sehr zuvorkommend. Am letzten Abend haben wir dann dort auch gegessen, weil es wirklich die anderen Tage immer sehr gut aussah, was die Gäste bestellt hatten. Wir hatten wohl leider Pech, denn die Leberknödel in der Suppe waren nicht durch und auch innen noch total kalt und wir hatten das Käse-Schnitzel, was jedoch völlig überwürzt war. Man hat eigentlich nur "Maggi-Fondor" geschmeckt und nichts vom Käse oder dem Schnitzen. Pommes und Salat waren dagegen gut. Wir würden es einfach nochmal ausprobieren, aber diesmal war es beim Essen wirklich ein Reinfall.

Das Essen war sehr gut... es hat alles richtig gut geschmeckt und war sehr reichlich. Die Bedienung richtig nett. Nur zu empfehlen:-)

Ein urgemütliches bayrisches Biergarten Lokal mit leckeren Essen und super Service. Man fühlt sich sofort,auch als Fremder herzlichen aufgenommen.
