Ein sehr schönes uriges Lokal mit gemütlichen ruhigen Biergarten. Das gesamte Personal ist super nett und herzlich, das Essen regional, zünftig und sehr gut und die Preise in Ordnung. Großes Lob an den Betreiber und sein ganzes Team, macht weiter so, wir werden sobald als möglich wieder kommen.

Ein tolles kleines Lokal abseits der Touristenpfade. Das Essen war gut und die Portionen großzügig – kommen Sie mit großem Hunger! Unsere Bedienung sprach zwar nicht viel Englisch, war aber sehr geduldig und hilfsbereit.

Eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal und das Essen ist einfach Hammer. Vor allen Dingen das Schweinebraten kann kaum besser werden! Unbedingt zu empfehlen 🤤😍

Wirklich ein Geheimtipp. Tolle Preis Leistung. Leckeres Essen schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Ich war begeistert direkt am Königssee so preiswert gut zu essen. Auch der Ausblick auf den Watzmann ein Highlight. Komme gerne wieder !

Whether you like it or not... it's a quaint pub; you never really know who's the owner or the customer. I liked it there.

A charming, rustic mountain hut – they serve good food with generous portions. The owners themselves provide the service. Reservations are recommended for larger groups as seating is limited. It's a great place for walks and hikes around Schönau, and you can stop at the Achenstüberl afterwards.

What an awesome place in Schönau! You can't help but feel at home here. We stopped here during our hike. We were served warmly and it was like visiting friends. It was so lovely that we returned the next day, and it was just as wonderful as the day before. Keep up the great work, you're fantastic!

It's very comfortably furnished and the food is highly recommended. You can tell my schnitzel is homemade. It's nice and crispy.

Unfortunately, they don't accept reservations for two people, so we took a chance. We were seated at a table with other people, which is okay sometimes, but not really necessary. The food, unfortunately for us (perhaps just on that day), wasn't as good as the reviews suggest. However, the service was prompt and friendly. The location is great, right on the Königssee footpath...

We were at Königssee and wanted a bite to eat afterward. Since Königssee was overrun with tourists and the prices there were exorbitantly high, we looked for something else nearby and stumbled upon this restaurant. The ambiance was very quaint and cozy. We received a very friendly welcome and, after checking the prices on the menu, were pleasantly surprised. Exactly what we were looking for! The food was served quickly and was extremely delicious. After the meal, we had a very pleasant conversation with the staff. Overall, everything felt very personal and familiar. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely consider eating here again! Very quaint and centrally located, on the beautiful circular hiking trail to Königssee. Great atmosphere. The price/performance ratio is still right here. The food is excellent and served very quickly. The service is friendly and pleasant.

I called and asked if I could pay by card. The boss said come over and eat and you pay on Tuesday. That's what I did: schnitzel with chips and salad. It was a proper schnitzel, not a ready-made product, not pressed, pounded, seasoned and breaded by hand. It was really tasty. They also cater to special requests. I got spicy sauce instead of salad at no extra cost for the schnitzel with everything that goes with it, with 1 non-alcoholic beer and a large lemonade for a shandy, €24.00, and it was delicious.

The menu is small, as it should always be, but the dishes are delicious and the portions are generous! The prices are very reasonable. The service is very friendly and attentive; you can immediately tell that they love their jobs!

We stopped in for a spontaneous meal and were lucky that there was still a table available in the beer garden. We were served by a very friendly waitress. I had roast pork, my wife had meatloaf. The portions were large and very tasty. The price/performance ratio is definitely good here; other restaurants are significantly more expensive and the portions are smaller. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely go there again.👍👍👍

You simply can't praise this place, otherwise it'll lose its insider tip status. This place was a must-visit on our vacation: small, charming, and great food at prices that are almost lost these days...give it a try, we highly recommend it.

We spontaneously sailed in there a few days ago because it was raining. As the rain got worse, we lingered further and further, and it turned into a very cheerful evening, thanks to the super friendly service and the fact that we all had to sit a little closer together due to the weather. 😁 A few days later, we ate there again, and everything was perfect, too. The food was delicious, the plates were full, and the value for money was right. The ambiance is rustic and fits the location...I can highly recommend the Achenstüberl. We felt very comfortable there!

No longer an insider tip, but quaint, authentic, and certainly not your typical tourist-friendly place. The prices are absolutely reasonable. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

Saw the beer garden while driving past, stopped spontaneously, ate well, paid little, had super friendly service and even had a nice conversation by sitting together at a larger beer garden table!

A rustic, typical beer garden atmosphere, uncomplicated and no-nonsense. Dogs are absolutely welcome here, and the clientele is mixed and rather relaxed. The atmosphere is accordingly comfortable, and the food is terrific. Decent portions on the plate, very tasty, and really good value for money. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to the delightful setting and the delicious food 😋

I always enjoy stopping off along the hiking trail at the Königssee Arche. A stop at the "Enzian Trinkhalle" is always worthwhile. I didn't eat, though.

Very good food! Very very good! I found the spiciness of the devil's toast to be just right, so it was spicy, but not too intense... Schnitzel with fries as you wish. Drinks came quickly... You can go there again...

Quaint, cozy & super friendly people! We actually wanted to eat here, but unfortunately the kitchen was already closed. So we just had a drink - but the team still looked after us really well! The atmosphere in the hut is really cozy, and the people there are real Bavarian originals - warm, sociable and super hospitable. Our dog was also warmly welcomed, which we really appreciate. Next time we will definitely come earlier to try the food too

Quiet corner, but the idyll is somewhat disturbed by locals. The food is absolutely good, I can only recommend it. The service is fast, precise and also recommended. I also think that the ambience doesn't suffer despite the low volume. All in all, I am very satisfied and can only recommend it without any problems.

Yesterday at 5 p.m. you could still choose the spot, half an hour later everything was full! Great atmosphere / you get to talk to the other people at the table / tourists, locals are all in a good mood. The music was playing (Hubsi was playing) and we didn't have to wait long for food and drink / compliments to the crew outside and in the kitchen / just plain great / thank you 👍
