December 2024: We had dinner with you again. This time in winter. Admittedly, we had good experiences based on our previous visit and therefore had a certain expectation. My wife had salmon and was very happy with it. I had roast Schäufele with red cabbage and dumplings. Plus gravy. First there was a liver dumpling soup. Unfortunately, I was totally disappointed with my meal. The Schäufele roast was okay and tasted good to me. However, this does not require any great culinary skill. However, the red cabbage was nothing. Completely tasteless. Unfortunately the sauce was so runny that it was more like soup. Unfortunately the liver dumpling soup was nothing either. The soup tastes nothing like the liver dumpling afterwards. I've had liver dumpling soup several times on vacation and none was as bad as this one. The taste could have been better. Maybe we should work on this thing again. We are used to better things in the restaurant. We didn't visit you again during our vacation, although we usually did it two or three times. This time we gave preference to other restaurants that are significantly better. We will dine with you again on our next visit, hoping that it will be better then. - Previous review: Good home-style and typical Bavarian cuisine. Great view. Very nice service. The food is excellent 😊. Once again a visit to Vorderbrand with the usual friendliness and great food. Always a pleasure and definitely a must. However, a reservation is required, like all other restaurants in the area. So nothing stands in the way of a nice evening or afternoon, because there are also delicious desserts and sweets that you can enjoy in the early afternoon. Thank you very much and always happy.

Very tasty burgers and a huge kebab on a plate - the food was perfectly seasoned. We recommend!!!

Rustic, cozy, place to chat with funny hikers and stop before the return journey across Lake Königssee. Maybe the younger couple from Saxony is reading this - we were in a good mood here and on the Jenner, in a party mood (70) 🤗.

I ate a very tasty Viennese style schnitzel here. Rustic, cozy restaurant with a large beer garden. Everything was perfect here.

Very good cuisine, the beef goulash is buttery soft, a dream! Cozy Bavarian inside, maybe a bit “old-fashioned”, but totally gracious. Highly recommended.

Good pizza, unfortunately the pizza world champion wasn't there, otherwise very friendly and good, you can visit at any time without hesitation

The soup was made of powder and the pressed dumplings were stone hard. The roast pork was very tasty. There's no need to talk about the ambience.

I would come here again just to eat the fish if I got the chance! That is how great this place is! I am surprised it was not more popular online! The most tender, juicy and nicely smoked fish I’ve ever had.

There is one star for the great location and the lady in service. Three stars deducted for the convenience classics with microwave character. Not recommended.
