Pizzeria Jolly in Schönau a.Königssee

Hello, I'd like to give an honest review. The food and service deserve high praise. The price/performance ratio is excellent! My only complaint is: I wanted chili and garlic oil on my pizza, which I received! Unfortunately, when I looked at the bill, I noticed that I was charged €1.50 for the garlic oil. That's over 10% extra on the pizza! (This is completely disproportionate to the pizza price.) I've never experienced anything like this in any other restaurant, sorry, but I had to get that off my chest!

The service was excellent! However, the food was rather mediocre!

The establishment has its own quality, as evidenced by the tables being occupied a few minutes after opening. We were with two children (3 and 5 years old)..the staff brought them coloring books and crayons while we waited for the food.The pizza and spaghetti aglio ollio peperoncino were delicious. We definitely recommend it.

We were here for dinner yesterday. We were thrilled. The service was first-class. Very polite, attentive, and helpful when we had questions. We could tell she enjoys her job. We had pizza calzone (a change was no problem), a 33cm Frutti di Mare pizza, and a mixed salad. We had drinks. We finished with espressos. The dishes were of first-class quality. Thank you for this thoroughly enjoyable evening! We'd love to come back!

I had the best pizza in years here. And it was vegan, too! There was even vegan mozzarella on the pizza. Highly recommended. The food tastes so good here, which was evident from the overcrowded restaurant. Many people just pick up their food. The ambiance could be improved. But the food is truly amazing. And the prices are absolutely reasonable, too. 5 stars from me.

We were here in the fall, and both pizzas were excellent! My girlfriend had a classic (probably the "Mafia"), while I had an autumn pizza with pumpkin sauce instead of tomato sauce – a truly delicious idea! Both pizzas were delicious and highly recommended. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere rounded off the whole experience.

Best pizza I've ever eaten. Thin crust, plenty of toppings, all deliciously combined. The small 33 cm pizza is absolutely sufficient. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as it's very busy and people sometimes wait for free seats. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but the service is super friendly and competent.

Pizza Mafiosa and Icaro were super delicious

We went there without a reservation. The friendly waitress told us that everything was reserved, which was evident. She offered us a table outside and said we'd get a tablecloth. We accepted the table outside. In the end, we were glad we stayed. We ate a very good, if not the best, pizza. For dessert, we had a pistachio tiramisu, which was the icing on the cake. The waitresses were very nice and friendly.

We stopped by spontaneously after a hike at Königssee. We were warmly welcomed and chose a table, and a very pleasant evening began. Friendly, quick service, a menu with everything an Italian heart desires. We chose bruschetta, pizza, and pasta; everything was absolutely delicious. Therefore, we absolutely recommend it and it deserves 5 stars. It was our first evening on vacation and we will definitely go there again. Thanks to the entire team, it was fantastic.

We spontaneously went here as a family for dinner and were more than surprised. Delicious pizza and pasta dishes, very friendly and attentive service, and a world-class pistachio tiramisu. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered a pizza with Parma ham, arugula, and buffalo mozzarella. The pizza was dripping with grease and wasn't crispy at all; it was more like an old rag. Never had such a bad pizza like this before. Ordered and ate half of it on September 8, 2025. Never again.

The pizzas there are very good and, above all, large. The small pizza has a diameter of 33 cm and costs an average of €11-15, which is very reasonable for its size. There's also a pizza for two, measuring 45 cm, which costs approximately €22-26. The largest pizza, measuring 60 cm, is supposedly suitable for four people. It's priced at over €33. We arrived there around 7:40 p.m. and all the tables were occupied. We waited for a while and were told that five tables were already reserved for 8 p.m. Nevertheless, we managed to get a table shortly before 8 p.m. and, despite the tables being full, we got our food in about 35 minutes.

We visited Jolly's Pizza twice during our three-day stay. Great atmosphere, super friendly service, and delicious food! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.😊

The pizza was really delicious! A small portion was plenty! The Hawaiian pineapple was sweet, and the mushroom, bacon, and tomato version was slightly sour. The seafood squid rice was rich in seafood, but the rice was a bit salty. The salad was good with the oil and vinegar dressing. I ordered both beer and beer. The tiramisu was quite large and could use a bit more cocoa powder. It was slightly sweet. The staff was also very friendly. There's parking available.

Very good food and very reasonably priced for the location. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent the weekend at Königssee and actually ate there every day.

We had various pizzas delivered to our vacation apartment. They arrived at the requested time (even five minutes early 👍). They were nice and hot; the taste, appearance, and toppings were great. Nothing to complain about!

The pizza was delicious. Even the smallest pizza (33 cm) was a bit too big. For the really hungry, there are pizzas up to 60 cm. The service was very friendly and clearly enjoyed their job.

Very friendly staff. No reservation required. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and a salad. The spaghetti was very small (it passes for a child's portion at our Italian restaurant back home). The salad, unfortunately, wasn't particularly large either, and there was hardly any oil or vinegar. The spaghetti tasted okay. We left a bit hungry. The pizzas would probably have been a better choice.

One of the best pizzerias in Berchtesgaden for decades :) the vegan alternatives are good, we had the Pizza Piccola.

Our visit to Jolly was fantastic. The food (we had three pizzas) was very good, and we've personally never tasted such a delicious pizza base. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The service was relaxed and friendly. We would recommend a visit there to anyone.

We arrived as a couple without prior reservation and were given a very friendly and welcoming welcome. We were assigned a table that we were very pleased with. Our questions about the food were answered competently. We chose the "Bianca" pizza and the Italian classic, "Risotto Nero di Seppia." The pizza was recommended, and my wife didn't regret it. We had a wonderful meal here! The linguine carbonara was perfect, and so was the pizza. Just don't be fooled by the size 😂, the one in the photo is 45 cm!! The Aperol Spritz is also topped off at the table with a mini bottle of Prosecco, so cool!

The best Italian in Berchtesgaden, a very cozy restaurant. Very good value for money. Super friendly staff. They also offer vegan dishes. Unfortunately, one star deducted because they changed the toppings on their pizzas. They're still very good, but no longer at the level of being the best in all of Germany. It's a bit of a shame. We still enjoy coming back, and maybe they'll go back to their original recipes at some point. The new menu is also a bit confusing and takes away some of the charm of the restaurant. It would be nice to keep the typically charming menus in the style of the old ones and only provide an English version when needed.

The place serves very tasty pizzas and pastas. During my stay in Kongissee, I ate at this place. Me and my spouse liked the white sauce vegetarian pasta that they prepared on special request (normally they serve red sauce pasta) while children like the pizza. A tip - Book a table in advance to avoid waiting time of around 20 to 30 mins.

Once inside, I was even asked if I wanted to order more. My pizza had been sitting cold on the coffee machine for ages. Zero oversight, zero service. You even tip for that? Never again. Thanks for the answer, but unfortunately, it's completely out of touch with reality. I sat down outside immediately after ordering – after consulting the server, who said it would take about 15 minutes. After about 18 minutes, I went inside and discovered that my pizza was already cold – apparently, it had simply been forgotten. To describe this as a "late pickup" is unrealistic and, frankly, disappointing. Mistakes happen, but you have to own up to them.

Well, we're from Berlin, and you can't get that kind of food for that price there. We'll eat there again today; our vacation is over tomorrow. One of the best pizzerias I've been to so far. We went there twice on vacation and it was delicious both times. The pizzas are thinly topped, as is the dough, which is just to my taste. For very hungry people, a 40-centimeter pizza might be suitable, although it was almost too much... 🙈

We ate at Jolly several times during our vacation 4 years ago and now in 2025, and we're thrilled! The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and makes a real effort to accommodate all guests. I think it's completely understandable that there can sometimes be long waits, as everything is freshly prepared and the quality of the food is truly outstanding. If you prefer your food served "quicker," you'll definitely find something to eat at the surrounding restaurants. We were there in the evening. It was very busy, so we had to wait a long time for our food, but it was worth it! The pizza was nice and crispy and delicious. Prices were absolutely fair, the service was friendly, though perhaps a little overwhelmed at times. Drinks should be served more quickly, so reservations are recommended – overall, a good place to eat.
