Since it was so crowded at Königssee, we stopped at the Schusterstein Inn on the way back. After we found a seat, we were served immediately. The food selection was clear and sufficient. The food we ordered was good, but nothing special.

Relaxing break and good food, the girl who served us was very kind and quick. Even if you are facing the main road to Konigsee the traffic does not disturb you in the slightest, in fact it can be fun to observe the various cyclists passing by. Well poured beer (in these parts it's difficult for them to serve a beer badly🤣)... it's a pleasant break

Eat outside with a great view. Very good, nice and hard-working service staff. Food very very good. Portion sizes are optimal after a hike. If everything outside is full when the weather is nice, it will be offered immediately when a space becomes available, great! Keep it up !

We ate at this lovely restaurant during our vacation. The food was super tasty and the portions were very generous. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Children and dogs are very welcome ❤️ What should be particularly highlighted is that there is a slide and swing for the kids.

We received a warm welcome at the campsite opposite and when we asked, the Gasthaus Schusterstein was recommended to us. We ate very well, no faults, it was so tasty. The service is friendly and familiar. We would love to come back here ☺️

Yesterday (July 22nd) there were two of us at the Schusterstein and we got what were probably the last available seats, at 5:15 p.m The waiter was attentive and friendly and the drinks came quickly. For dinner we had a Berchtesgaden schnitzel and turkey medallions. We will definitely, definitely come back. Everything was a success, good quality and tasted very good. Many many thanks.

We ate here after a hike. Very friendly service and a central location. Unfortunately the prices on the menu did not match the prices on the website. Food was okay.

We were on vacation at the beautiful Königssee in the summer of 2023. We noticed the restaurant simply because of the beautiful location and because there was a small area for the children :-) Unfortunately, we discovered that after ordering, our food was ready less than 5 to 10 minutes later. The place was full. My children's fish fingers didn't taste that good. I had cheese spaetzle. So if the food is ready after less than 10 minutes when the house is full, it can't all be super fresh. Unfortunately we didn't like it. But the location is still very good and the waiter was also very friendly, despite the fact that he was very busy. And no, it hasn't bothered me for a year, I'm just now starting to write reviews because I've never done anything like that before but I find it absolutely helpful. You should be able to deal with criticism in the catering industry ;-)

We ate at the inn twice during our vacation and were very satisfied! Nice service and a taste experience! The Stone Burger and the mountain farm steak are highly recommended. We would recommend it 100%!

Super tasty food with a large selection, super friendly service and fair prices. We had to smile a little when we were warned that the trout needed a bit of preparation. Less than half an hour later we had finished eating, even though everything was fully booked. Respect!

The waiter was very friendly, attentive and careful. The young woman in service was so annoyed and arrogant that we had to apologize for coming in. There should be 5 stars for the gentleman and 0 for the lady.

I'm in rehab here and found the restaurant by chance. I've been there 7-8 times now, on the one hand because the food is super tasty (no matter what I've eaten so far, everything's been great) and on the other hand the lovely waiters are treasures of gold. I can only recommend it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We just wanted to eat there and were very politely escorted out. The reason was that today is a barbecue evening and everything is reserved and the kitchen doesn't open until 5 p.m. It also says on the website that you have to make a reservation on Thursday, said the waiter. I looked and I can't find anything about reservations, only that there is a barbecue every Thursday and that they look forward to welcoming guests. The sheer mockery. Always make a reservation, it's not easy to go out to eat. 🤣

After a long car ride we wanted to go out for a leisurely meal. Since it was evening we actually wanted a sunny place to eat. There would have been free spaces in the back area, but due to the inflexibility, it was cordoned off, not possible. The service reacted very rudely here. The food may be good, but the friendliness/flexibility needs to be improved in my opinion. In front of the door there was a wooden table with a bench. When asked, the answer was: No, this is the regulars' table. Me: then we'll just leave it. The female service person: yes, then we'll leave it!! I also have to be flexible in my job when the customer comes. But apparently it's not necessary. After an hour's walk we passed by again, the regulars' table was still unoccupied. We would definitely have come more often during the week, but not like this. We understand the lack of staff, but not if you don't stand 3 meters away. The guests are on holiday and want to enjoy the sun! You stay seated longer, more sales and tips. Half of the shady places could have been blocked off! I am a trained hotel manager myself and I also like to give tips. But not in this restaurant anymore. Not recommended for us.

Everything is very good, please cook the beans softer, they will taste better, thank you very much! The tomato soup was very tasty with or without Maggie!

My children were/are absolutely thrilled. Incredibly family-friendly, great cuisine, brilliant location. Just a short walk and you are at Königssee. The Punz family is wholeheartedly involved, and you can see that in many little things. Their friendliness makes you feel like you're on holiday straight away and you can enjoy it to the fullest - thank you for the wonderful time.

Waren am 2.10.23 ohne Reservierung dort - der Biergarten war sehr gut besucht ebenso die Gaststube! Schnell wurde für uns (2 Personen) ein Platz gesucht! Der Service war hervorragend, aufmerksam und nett- das Essen ohne lange Wartezeit- trotz vollem Haus - sehr lecker, reichlich und schön angerichtet! Vielen Dank an die Dame an der Theke! Wir kommen wieder und können diese Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben dort zu Mittag gegessen. Sehr gut. Nette Bedienung. Wollen nächstes Jahr dort unseren Urlaub verbringen. Sehr schönes Haus. Tolle Lage.
