Unser Essen war tadellos, sauber und sehr lecker.

Was für eine absolut positive Überraschung. Also die Angestellten waren super freundlich und höflich. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten einen Double Cheeseburger, einen Döner, einen Döner Teller und ein halbes Hähnchen. Alle Portionen waren sehr gut und wirklich super lecker, was wir wirklich genossen haben. Selbst die Pommes waren ganz fantastisch. Also wer hier in der Nähe ist unbedingt mal ein Menü probieren. Großes Lob und eine ganz klare Empfehlung von uns.

Freundliches Personal und gute Preise. Absolut hervorzuheben. Nur die Fertigsoßen noch gegen selbstgemachte tauschen und ihr seid Spitzenklasse.

Was hier unpassend ist, sind die KI-Bilder der Speisen. Das könnte man durch echte Bilder ersetzen, so kann man sich besser vorstellen, was man bestellt. Ansonsten läuft es ähnlich ab wie bei McDonald's, aber das Essen ist an sich lecker und gut sowie schnell zubereitet.

Das Restaurant sieht von außen nicht besonders aus. Aber der Burger hier war köstlich.

Es ist toll, Bootsausflüge und Wanderungen.

War sehr positiv überrascht. Sehr große und schön angerichtete Portionen.

Insgesamt eines der günstigsten Lokale in der Gegend. Wir bestellten jeweils einen Burger. Er war gut, aber ich ziehe einen Stern ab, weil die Zwiebeln leider altbacken und ungenießbar waren – sie hatten eine seltsame Farbe und rochen komisch. Ansonsten war es okay.

Top! Laden wirkt sehr sauber, total leckeres und appetitlich angerichtetes Essen.

Fast Food Restaurant mit erstaunlich guter Küche. Leider waren viele Gerichte schon ausverkauft obwohl zu dieser Zeit der See nicht stark besucht war. Finde das Konzept passt nicht in diesen Bereich. Personal sehr nett und freundlich. Burger sehr lecker und alles frisch zubereitet.

Wir haben hier zwei Burger mit Pommes und zwei Getränken geholt um in der Pension zu essen. Die Bürger sind lecker, die Pommes leiden, wie üblich, duchrs mitnehmen. Die Preise empfinden wir als angemessen. Beim Essen haben wir festgestellt das einige Details der Bestellung nicht ganz richtig waren, tut dem Geschmack kein Abbruch. Das Ambiente ist Schnellrestaurant üblich, aber in der richtigen Ecke draußen kann man schön ins Tal schauen.

Geduldige Mitarbeiter bei der Bestellung, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Super leckeres Essen, auch wenn man ein bisschen warten muss, wir waren ja auch nicht die einzigen.

Wir waren absolut zufrieden. Optisch sah das Essen sehe gut aus. Die Falafel Tasche sollte man vielleicht anders überdenken, sodass sich diese besser mit den Händen essen lässt, ohne das 50% aufm Teller landet. Das ist keine Kritik, das Teil war super lecker. Ich kam hungrig und habe einen Teller mit einer großen Currywurst und wirklich guten Pommes frites genossen. Mehr brauchte es gerade nicht. Faire Preise und freundlicher Service.

Die Falafel waren überhaupt nicht gut. Bestellt sie bloß nicht! Die Chili-Pommes waren okay. Das Essen hat viel zu lange gedauert.

Wir waren schon mehrfach da essen gewesen. Das Ambiente ist super, drinnen wie draußen. Alles sauber und aufgeräumt. Die Leute freundlich und das Essen lecker. Schön das das Gebäude einen so tollen Nachfolger hat. Update : Wir sind nun wieder hier im Urlaub und wieder mehrfach im Grillstüberl essen gewesen. Was sollen wir sagen, alles perfekt, Personal überaus freundlich und nett. Das Essen super lecker. Wir wollten immer mal wo anders essen gehen, wir kommen nicht am Grillstüberl vorbei. Macht weiter so.

Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen, das Personal und die Qualität des Essens waren ausgezeichnet. Ich wünschte, es wäre überall so! 👍

Dönerteller war sehr Lecker und reichlich.

Wer kein typischen Döner sucht sondern ein Geschmackserlebnis bekommt es hier. Die ganzen positiven Rezensionen kann ich nachvollziehen. Es ist nicht mehr Fastfood aber zum Fastfood Preis. Auch nach 2 Jahren heute leider nur 2go dennoch mega geil. Preis und Qualität unvergleichlich

Burger sind ultra lecker. Teils riesig und verhältnismäßig günstig. Definitiv einer der besten Optionen für Burger in BGL.

Habe hier essen für 3 Personen geholt und es war alles bestens. Leistung und Preis super.

Das Grillstüberl ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Preis Leistung stimmt. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und das Essen ist in kurzer Zeit zubereitet.

Price-performance ratio is right...

The doner kebab plate and the dürüm were very good, huge portions and a real treat in terms of taste. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it gets very cold inside the restaurant during the cooler months; it's almost unbearable. You have to hurry to avoid freezing completely, which is very unpleasant. In the summer, there's a lovely outdoor seating area, where it's very pleasant.

Very friendly service. Large selection of fast food dishes. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The restaurant is very large and open, which unfortunately gives it a train station-like atmosphere. The burgers were okay, but nothing special. Okay for a quick bite.

Delicious food and quick to make

Good burger joint in the former McDonald's. The burgers are large and tasty, and the price/performance ratio is right. 👍🏼

I ordered a double cheeseburger and fried chicken wings. The price may have increased compared to the menu in the previous review. The taste is good, but it is just fast food.

They have a family room and kid's play zone! Amazing. Food was good too.

We were there for lunch in September 2025. We got a classic cheeseburger and one with pulled beef. Absolutely delicious. The buns were incredibly fluffy. The meat melted in your mouth! We highly recommend it!

I can only praise everything here at Königssee. The service was excellent, the food was excellent... Everything was packaged perfectly so I could take it to the campsite without any problems. Thank you very much.

The whole restaurant is halal according to the staff. The portion is large and the food tastes delicious. I highly recommend it. I ordered pulled beef, which is similar to a brisket burger, as well as chili cheese fries, and the taste was awesome.

The Grillstüberl Königssee is the best proof that sometimes it's worth breaking new ground. Once part of the famous golden M chain, the same premises now house an independent burger joint with its own unique character. While traces of the past can still be seen in the interior design, neither the food nor the service are reminiscent of the former fast-food concept. The burgers impress with their quality and taste – and at a price-performance ratio that is hard to beat in this prime location. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. Another advantage over the globally established fast-food chains: They serve beer. With that in mind – cheers and enjoy your meal

The view from the terrace is beautiful, despite the street. The portions are large, the food isn't particularly special, and the price is probably a bit high due to the portion size.

Service was very polite. Fresh beer and wheat beer were served on tap and in glasses. We had vegan falafel wraps and a veggie burger, and both were highly recommended.

Since we were craving burgers but didn't want to eat at the usual fast-food chains, a quick internet search led us to Grillstüberl. The ambiance inside is similar to that of other chains. Outside, you sit on a very busy street. The noise level is very high! Ordering is also the same as usual, with the difference that you get a pager that alerts you as soon as your food is ready. Once we saw the situation, we adjusted to it, so it was fine for us. What was important to us was how the burgers would taste. So we ordered the Watzmannburger and the Pulled Beef Burger from the large menu. After a short wait, we received two large, juicy, incredibly delicious burgers and nice, crispy fries! The portions were filling, and the price was also very fair (total: €35)! We were very satisfied!

The staff clearly have zero understanding of allergens. I have a milk allergy and ordered fries, chicken wings, and a salad. The salad arrived with feta cheese and an extra cheese on top. When I pointed out that I couldn’t eat it because I’d already told them I can’t eat milk, the waiter actually asked me where I could “see” milk in the salad. As for the chicken wings — judging by the photo, they’ve apparently confused “cooking” with “turning into charcoal.”

Very good food! Highly recommended! The fries are amazing! If you want to eat outside, you'll have to sit on the street! But no matter! The view of the mountains makes up for it!

Fish and chips, falafel flatbread. A good meal after a hike. The falafel is excellent. The flatbread is wonderfully toasted, and the salad in the bread is unusual, but very good! Fish and chips are standard. But this one is very good. All in all, highly recommended.

Located at the site of a former world-leading burger chain with the large yellow and red M., right next to the Königssee parking lot. Same principle as its big brother. You order your burger at the counter and are then given a buzzer that vibrates and beeps loudly when the burgers are ready. You can then pick them up at the counter. The crew has everything under control. The burgers take their time to prepare, though. No matter, they're super delicious. We had a chili cheese burger meal, a falafel salad, and chili cheese fries. It was a shame I couldn't get the salad on the menu. The falafel salad was also freshly prepared and really delicious. The chili cheese burger meal cost €17.90. For that price, you got a large burger and a decent bowl of fries. My companion was quite full, and so was I. However, I wonder how long it takes to prepare a menu for the drive-thru, because they also have one. If the place is full, it certainly won't go that fast... So if you're in the mood for burgers at Königssee, you should definitely try the Grillstüberl opposite the gas station at the Königssee parking lot. We thought it was great and would love to come back on our next vacation. 🤤

Best burgers I've had in a very long time

The food is particularly good for a fast food restaurant. The burgers are good, fresh. We were pleasantly surprised and even stopped by for an Aperol Spritz.

The good reviews lured us here. A must-visit after a day at Königssee. Honest and delicious food. Especially the high-quality vegan patties from Beyond Meat on the delicious veggie burgers! Incredibly fair prices (especially compared to the restaurants by the lake). There's also a drive-thru! Great, keep up the good work!

We were initially completely overwhelmed by the large selection of food. There were burgers (in various variations), finger food, salads, and kebabs to choose from. Individual dishes could also be customized. Drinks also included everything from soft drinks and juices to beer, wine, and even schnapps. The food was ready quickly, absolutely fresh, and incredibly delicious. The price was right, too, so we went home completely satisfied and completely full.

Ordered double cheese and turkey sausage. It was good. - The burger was very generous, big pieces, fresh vegetables, good sauce. - The curry sausage was a bit salty but it was good with wedges.

I've been to many German cities and eaten kebabs there. The kebab (Dürüm) at this grill restaurant is definitely memorable. I'll be back in the Schönau area soon and will definitely stop by here. The question now is: Is this the best kebab? ... The answer to this question is 100% YES ❤️

Wonderful! I've had several meals here on my vacation: Dürum Döner (€7.50) and a Döner Platter (around €12) with fries and salad. Both were SUPER, MUCH cheaper, and incredibly tastier than what I get here in the north: taste, quantity, packaging for transport (it was still warm enough after 15 minutes of transport!), and very friendly and fast service. Also, a very reasonable price in terms of value for money! You could have also eaten in the lovely outdoor area! We'd be happy to come back on our next vacation near Königssee 👍👍👍

Ordered a small set of shredded beef burgers, the portion was enough for an Asian man and a woman, it was delicious! And I think the attitude of the waiter was very good! The reviews of restaurants near the lake are not very good! This one can be given five stars!

With a wide range of menu options, everyone should find something they like, even vegetarian options are available. You can also order via drive-thru. In the summer, sit outside and enjoy the food and the view of the mountains. Definitely recommended.
