The service is extremely friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic—it's a real pleasure to order here. The food is simply amazing: the kebab plate, the dürüm, and the doner kebab all tasted amazing. The meat was of outstanding quality, and the vegetables were absolutely fresh. To top it all off, they even serve a Traunsteiner Hofbräuhaus beer—what more could you ask for? Five stars are hardly enough!

Kind of a quickie, but it's okay.

What initially appears to be a snack bar turns out to be a great place for quick but delicious food. Order at the counter or at the ordering terminal. Payment is also accepted by card. My schnitzel was delicious and wonderfully crispy; you won't get anything better in a restaurant. Chili cheese fries with a great sauce and jalapeños. Be careful with the red chilies, they're really good. Prices are also completely reasonable. I highly recommend the Grillstüberl.

Following reviews from Google Maps, it says top rates. Try it and you won't be disappointed. You can order food in front of the cashier or order yourself and wait for your order. The food is very delicious, you get a lot of it, mostly hamburgers. The sausage was delicious but unfortunately it was a bit salty. Highly recommend the chicken wings, very delicious. It came up asking if I wanted to buy more from the main set, so I ordered it.

I was there with a colleague for a kebab plate. The atmosphere is more American (it used to be a McDonald's). Unfortunately the kebab meat was inedible. It tasted kind of old and rancid. The fries and salad weren't bad though.

Unfortunately, when I got home I had to throw away the kebab because it smelled spoiled and the salad was brown. The fries were also a bit old. I won't get anything more

Considering that the Grillstüberl is a fast food restaurant, you definitely can't complain. The burgers were delicious (the patties were frozen but tasty). The chili cheese fries were quite good. Everything could have used a bit more seasoning, although you can get small salt packets for adding more seasoning. The service was also very friendly, and the atmosphere was open and bright. Everything was very inviting and highly recommended.

Even if it says "fast food" you can still enjoy a good burger here. The view is wonderful and the taste is absolutely fine. We had 2 burgers and a few onion rings and balls filled with cheese and pasta. Only the burger bun was very rich and the parties were double frozen ready-made, but in high season it probably gets so full that there is no other option. The price is reasonable for that.

Top notch for a fast food restaurant. Big corporations can't keep up with this in the slightest. Everything is fresh, served hot and tastes delicious. The staff and the boss are super friendly and helpful. When we are in Berchtesgaden it is a must for us to go to the Grillstüberl.

Large fast food restaurant with self-service and even drive-thru. Certainly the cheapest restaurant in the Königssee area. On both visits (1x kebab box, 1x Yummy chicken burger with fries) you got large and generous portions with lots of meat. If you're really hungry, it's worth going for one of the more expensive burgers. Personally, I think the portion of fries is a bit too small for €5. The only unpleasant thing about the restaurant was the cashier. He seemed pretty un-relaxed on both visits and created a somewhat tense atmosphere with his comments. Ambiance is typical fast food, so don't expect too much.

The Grillstübl was our great rescue when we were still looking for dinner at 8:30 p.m. 15 minutes before closing we enjoyed great service and ate two delicious vegetarian burgers and fries! The prices are great too!

We were vacationing in Berchtesgaden again in September. As always, a visit to the Grillstüberl is a must. This time, of course, we wanted to check out the new branch at Königssee. The staff and manager are super friendly, and the atmosphere is truly fantastic. All I can say about the food is: top-notch. We'll be back at the Grillstüberl next year, or maybe even in December ;)

The kebab simply tasted terrible. It was burnt and had no sauce. The staff didn't care about the guests and were rude. The ambience isn't nice either. Every table and chair looks different.

Unfortunately all in all only 3 stars. Burgers and chicken nuggets were okay, but not a highlight in terms of taste. The burgers in particular tasted like nothing. Portion size ok though. Fries not crispy. In addition, there was a sauce chaos including the wrong sauce for dessert (we ordered take-away). Unfortunately a disappointment. Still ok due to the portion size and the generally fair price.

Top Eating out especially quickly and well with a large family

After reading recent reviews, felt it necessary to review. Nice friendly staff, very accommodating to English speakers. Clean, spacious restaurant and reasonably priced loaded burgers.

The kebab was tasty. The fries are homemade, which are very tasty. The only thing is that when you pay for kebab fries you are confronted with the tip. You are basically forced to choose something when paying by card in order to give a tip. Everyone should decide that voluntarily, I don't like that at all.

So one thing in advance. Food has a great price-performance ratio. Then why only three stars? We went there because of all the good reviews and expected the non plus ultra. That's definitely not it. It's just an okay-good standard in terms of taste. We had the kebab plate and a falafel box. The price-performance is great for the location. Doner meat was well seasoned. According to our taste, it could have used a little more roasted flavor. The device cut the meat from the meat when it was done without any crispy roasted aromas. Falafel well seasoned but quite dry. And the sauce is also rather boring. Service when ordering was super nice and despite the fast food atmosphere, it was nice.

All in all, actually quite nice. It should be noted, however, that the drive-in takes just as long as if you eat in the restaurant itself (I think that's too long for a drive-in), unfortunately there are very few parking spaces and you have to use the expensive Königsee parking lot and, to be honest, that's the atmosphere there from the predecessor of McDonald's, unfortunately you can see that in the chairs, to be honest, the people at Fassl are better, but also a few euros more expensive and so on - but the rest is perfect. Price-performance ratio, I would say it's okay too (burger alone is better price-performance ratio -Ratio like with fries or even drinks) therefore a total of four stars from me and one star deducted for the above

Nice cooperation but after a long journey with a truck I wanted good food. Normal currywurst in Doitschland was very good, this one was no good. Afterwards Falafel Dürüm because of vegetarian sauce but only water peas. Why? Tipping is not normal in Fastfud, here a nice employee asks for a hug or a tip. Why? Negative evacuation always clears. Why?

A former MC Donald converted into a kebab, hamburger, grill station. The highlight is the drive in. The food was very tasty 😋 we ate there twice on our last vacation. And we were thrilled with the quality of the food. Rarely have we eaten such delicious kebab meat. Doner plate highly recommended. The burgers are also very tasty. We will come back if we decide to vacation in this region again.

I also went to the grill room on Saturday with my wife and 2 big children because of the good reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The sauces, salads on burgers, etc. were all fresh and very tasty. The portions are generous, especially the kebab plate. Everyone will enjoy it here plenty.And best of all, the prices are fair.Top price-performance ratio.No tourist rip-offs, purely according to the motto "it's just walk-in customers, won't come back anyway"! The “store” is really recommended. We are often at Königsee and will always come back.
