Rustic, cozy, place to chat with funny hikers and stop before the return journey across Lake Königssee. Maybe the younger couple from Saxony is reading this - we were in a good mood here and on the Jenner, in a party mood (70) 🤗.

I really enjoy going to the Achenstüberl and having a good time. Food and drinks are fresh and delicious 😋. I can recommend anyone who goes on the Achen hiking trail, whether to Königssee or to Berchtesgaden, to take a break.

We visited this restaurant on May 13, 2025. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to a sunny table. After a quick look at the extensive menu, we decided on shrimp with pizza bread for a starter and a large pizza with salad for the main course. The food was delicious and everything came quickly. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Meinungen die hier zu lesen sind waren wir zuerst ein bisschen skeptisch, wollten uns aber eine eigene Meinung bilden. Wir können uns den sehr guten Beurteilungen nur anschließen. Insbesondere das Serviceteam war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. auch was aus der Küche kam, war sehr gut und in einen Zeitrahmen der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Beeindruckend war auch die offen einzusehende Küche. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in einem schönen Ambiente und kommen bestimmt wieder. Dem gesamten Team vielen Dank dafür. Das einzige was ich vielleicht ein bisschen negativ bewerte ist dass man nur Barzahlung akzeptiert. Das ist aber nicht dem Team anzulasten, hier müssten die Eigentümer aktiv werden. I stayed here for 5 nights and felt extremely comfortable in the very large, cozy double room with balcony and walk-in shower and can only warmly recommend it!!!!! The location to Berchtesgaden and Lake Königssee is perfect. Ms. Luhme is a real gem, especially at reception: warm, friendly, helpful, extremely committed and always there when you need her! Thank you very much!!! Maria is also particularly worth mentioning in the service: hardworking, friendly, quick and a true angel. The Ukrainian cleaning fairies are also great: committed, friendly and hard-working. However, there were a few inconveniences - everyone tried to help and fix the errors: It is a faulty TV that didn't work properly, deficiencies in the breakfast service (one morning the buffet was dismantled 20 minutes before the end of breakfast (10 a.m.); on another morning an employee was very unprofessional and incredibly loud when talking to colleagues without taking the guests in the guest room into account....) Unfortunately, the salad for €7.40 on the first evening was so terrible (a few slices of peppers and tomatoes completely covered with square-cut pieces of iceberg lettuce) without bread and without any dressing to speak of, so I decided to eat out every evening from then on and cannot provide any further feedback on the food. I didn't use the free swimming pool, nor the sauna for an additional charge. Still, it's nice that I had the opportunity!!! Thanks! It was also great that I was able to use free Wi-Fi and free parking. The free breakfast had everything I like- thanks for that!!! The mattresses were great and extremely comfortable!!! I was also surprised by the balcony plants that were put on my balcony during my stay!!! Thank you very much! Unfortunately, a completely outdated menu is currently available on the website - it would be helpful if this were updated. The elevator to higher floors is nice (albeit quite slow). Thanks! I would be happy to come back, thank you for a very pleasant stay in your house.

One of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen ⛰️🗻⛰️ I've never eaten this high before 🍽️ The staff were very nice and friendly. Service was super fast. The food was absolutely delicious 🤤 I recommend it to anyone who's up there 🏔️😎☀️🍺
