Everything is good except the prices, very high for the region...

Rustic, cozy, place to chat with funny hikers and stop before the return journey across Lake Königssee. Maybe the younger couple from Saxony is reading this - we were in a good mood here and on the Jenner, in a party mood (70) 🤗.

Bald ist es wieder soweit. Badezeit mit Chillicheese Pommes und besten Salatschüsseln. Bin so froh, daß ihr im Schorni seid. Und den Kritikern zuvor sei gesagt :"Wo bekommt ihr schon so qualitativ hochwertige Speisen in einem Freibad? Da lohnt es sich doch 5 Minuten drauf zu warten. Sonst nehmt euch was von daheim mit!"

I ate a very tasty Viennese style schnitzel here. Rustic, cozy restaurant with a large beer garden. Everything was perfect here.

I was absolutely thrilled with my first-class fillet steak, served on a hot slate plate. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The dessert, a homemade tiramisu, was also great. We are in the BGL because of the Munich trade fair and would like to visit this restaurant again at the weekend to say goodbye to this beautiful area. Absolute recommendation from Inge and Michael Eckhardt from Osnabrück.

I really enjoy going to the Achenstüberl and having a good time. Food and drinks are fresh and delicious 😋. I can recommend anyone who goes on the Achen hiking trail, whether to Königssee or to Berchtesgaden, to take a break.

We were here 3 evenings this week, always had something different and were never disappointed. The food is fresh and very tasty, the staff is very friendly and professional.

Great local inn with lots of charm. Here you have the feeling that you are a friend as a guest. The kitchen makes you feel comfortable. You just have to go here - if you want it to taste good and be fun too.

We spent a week in the Bärenstüberl and never want to have this experience again. The rooms were actually fine, but the service was disastrous. When eating in the restaurant, whether breakfast or dinner, the service staff treated you as if you were totally unwanted and an uninvited guest. The food, whether half board or a la carte, was ready-made and simply never tasted good. You had to pay extra for everything, like a cappuccino. Unfortunately, we were there over New Year's Eve and were simply thrown out of the restaurant at 11.30 p.m., even though we were a large table with very well-paying guests and had asked beforehand whether it was possible to spend New Year's Eve there. I would recommend everyone to book another hotel or, if at all, to only book one night. As soon as locals asked you which hotel you were in, you received looks of pity. We really didn't understand the good reviews until we were informed that there had been a change of ownership and that the new owner probably wasn't running the hotel very well.

A very nice place to spend your lunch break comfortably and relaxed. Friendly staff, tasty food and an attractive ambience. We feel very comfortable with you! 😊
