Mega unfreundlicher Kellner! Karte Zahlung erst ab 20€ möglich, hatten mir auch zu viel berechnet 🫣 Nie mehr!

Ein nettes Lokal im bayerischen Stil, aber leider war alles ziemlich geschmacklos :-( Wir können es leider nicht empfehlen.

Die Pommes waren so versalzen, dass sie ungenießbar waren. Die Wurst schmeckte wie ein billiger Hotdog aus dem Discounter. Außerdem wimmelte es im Lokal von Fliegen und Wespen. Der Preis stand in keinem Verhältnis zur Qualität.

Wir haben heute den Königssee besucht und kehrten zwecks Regen in das Restaurant Seehaus am Königssee ein. Wir bestellten ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und ein Almsteak mit Bratkartoffeln. Obwohl das Restaurant fast leer war, waren die Bratkartoffeln ungenießbar,. Die Teller lieblos angerichtet...einfach Maßenabfertigung obwohl fast keine weiteren Gäste da waren. Total überteuert. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Alles in allem war es okay. Ich kann nichts Schlechtes sagen, aber es hat uns auch nicht vom Hocker gehauen.

Wir konnten durch den tollen Service im Restaurant Seehaus, einen Geburtstag 🎂🥳mit einem leckeren Essen abrunden🥗😋. Es wurde sogar kurzfristig, für uns zwei Tische ohne Probleme reserviert und feierlich dekoriert 🎈🕯 Es war ein toller Abschluss. Essen, Kaffee und Service waren super! 👍👍 Preisleistung Ok! 😊 Vielen Dank nochmal! 🥰

Ich war heute am späten Nachmittag in der Gaststätte und habe einen Kaiserschmarrn bestellt. Die weibliche Servicekraft, die mich bediente, brachte ihn nach etwa 20 Minuten. Danach kam sie jedoch nicht noch einmal an meinen Tisch, um nachzufragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist und war auch nicht in der Nähe. Leider war der Kaiserschmarrn außen zwar kross, innen aber deutlich klebrig und nicht fluffig. Ich frage mich inzwischen, ob er überhaupt richtig durchgegart war, auch, weil mir inzwischen übel ist. Aus Hunger habe ich etwa 2/3 gegessen, etwa ein Drittel blieb jedoch auf dem Teller. Siehe Bild. Als ich bezahlen wollte, fragte die weibliche Servicekraft trotz des deutlich übrig gebliebenen Essens nicht nach. Deshalb sagte ich selbst, dass mir der Kaiserschmarrn wegen der klebrigen Konsistenz nicht geschmeckt habe. Ihre einzige Reaktion war: „Das macht 16,90 €“ Auf meine Nachfrage, ob es ihr egal sei, dass ich unzufrieden bin, erhielt ich keine Antwort. Sie gab mir das Wechselgeld und ging. Beim Hinausgehen sprach ich sie noch einmal auf ihre Reaktion an. Daraufhin machte sie eine abfällige Geste in meine Richtung und sagte in einer Sprache, die ich nicht verstand, etwas zu ihrem Kollegen. Dieser reagierte zwar wesentlich freundlicher, meine Kritik wurde letztlich aber ebenfalls nicht ernstgenommen. Die weibliche Servicekraft behauptete indes, ich hätte nur „Krümel“ übrig gelassen, dabei war etwa ein Drittel des Kaiserschmarrns noch auf dem Teller. Mir ging es zu keinem Zeitpunkt darum, nicht zu bezahlen, den Preis von 16,90 € habe ich vollständig bezahlt. Ich hätte lediglich erwartet, dass man Kritik ernst nimmt, sich zumindest entschuldigt und die Rückmeldung an die Küche weitergibt. Ebenso gehört es für mich zu gutem Service, nach dem Servieren kurz nachzufragen, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit ist. Das ist mit Abstand die schlechteste Erfahrung, die ich mit einer Servicekraft machen musste.

Noch nie so einen scheußlichen Kaiserschmarrn gegessen und der Preis sagenhaft teuer Apfelmus hätte ich noch mal extra zahlen sollen. TK Früchte mit Zitronensaft kurz auf gekocht schlimmer geht's nimmer.Musik zum davonlaufen nur Quetschen und Blasmusik

Essen war ok, aber nicht herausragend. Service war top, Preise leicht gehoben für das Gebotene, aber noch im Limit. Hunde durften mit rein (waren in Nebensaison dort und es war relativ leer).

Ich hatte die Kellnerin bei der Bestellung gefragt ob sie Orginal Cola Zero servieren, weil in der Karte nur Pepsi und Libella Cola stand. Sie bejahte, also bestellte ich eine Cola zero. Nachdem ich bemerkte, dass die Getränke in einem Glas kommen und ich schon desöfteren in Restaurants Cola Ersatz serviert bekommen habe, was ich rausschmecke, bin ich an die Bar, um die Kellnerin erneut zu fragen, ob sie wirklich Cola zero orginal da haben. Sie war sehr genervt. antwortete pampig, dass sie nicht die Libella Zapfsäule dafür nutze. Auf die Aufforderung mir die orginal flasche Cola bitte zu zeigen, zeigte sie mir eine Cola light Flasche, als ich fragte ob sie eine cola zero da hat, lügte mich diese an und sagte ja, ich forderte sie auf mir diese Flasche bitte zu zeigen. Dann kam erst die Auflôsung , dass sie keine Cola Zero da habe. Da hätte ich bereits gehen sollen. Fazit Essen: Seelachsfilet mit Kartoffelsalatwar gut. alles andere kann man sich sparen!

Das Essen war köstlich, mit deutschen Spezialitäten. Auch die Biere und das Radler waren sehr gut. Der Service war etwas langsam, aber die Lage ist großartig, direkt neben dem Schiff am Königssee.

Wir wollten hier essen und wurden gegen 6:30 Uhr sehr unhöflich abgewiesen mit der Begründung, die Küche sei bereits geschlossen.

Das Essen war okay, aber der Service war schrecklich.

Teuer gegessen für mangelhafte Qualität. Das Hähnchen war so trocken wie Sand. Und die Kartoffeln sind im Fett geschwommen geschmacklich auch voll daneben.

Der Empfang war so unhöflich und unfreundlich, dass wir umgedreht und gegangen sind. Nur wenige Meter weiter wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen.

Hatte das Schweinefilet auf Spätzle mit Käse überbacken und muss selten zugeben so enttäuscht zu sein. Das Fleisch war völlig durchzogen mit Sehnen und gut 1/3 des Fleisches schlichtweg nicht essbar. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls unterirdisch, schon daran bemessen, dass als Reaktion nur ein müdes Achselzucken kam. Eigentlich wollte ich mir zum Nachtisch nebenan noch einen Kaiserschmarrn ToGo holen, aber als ich realisierte, dass dies ein zusammenhängender Laden ist, habe ich davon abgesehen.

Wir saßen gemütlich auf der Terrasse. Eiskaffee und Kaiserschmarrn waren köstlich, Bedienung freundlich.

Während unseres Urlaubs waren wir zweimal hier essen. Sehr leckeres Essen, toller Service und eine wunderschöne Lage direkt am Königssee. Klare Empfehlung!

Wenn man sich so einige Bewertungen hier anschaut, kann man sich nur Fremdschämen. Hier wird auf jeden Fall Frisch gekocht und keine TK verwendet. Das Wiener Schnitzel war sehr gut. Gut geklopft, gut paniert und sehr Zart. Der Kaiserschmarrn von meiner Frau war auch super. Der Service ist okay, habe es hier in der Region schon weitaus besser gesehen. Das Ambiente ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen muss man sagen. Es wirkt auch nicht ordentlich. Ich glaube diese negativen Kommentare kommen daher, weil die Angestellten keiner deutschen Herkunft sind oder weil die Restaurants am Königssee sich zu Doll konkurrieren. Ich kann das nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen war spitze!!!

Das Essen war köstlich und die Portionen waren großzügig, aber es könnte Probleme bei der Bezahlung mit Kreditkarten geben, daher ist es ratsam, etwas Bargeld mitzuführen.

Leider war der Besuch ein absoluter Reinfall. Angefangen hat es mit den absolut schäbigen Speisekarten, die wirklich abgenutzt und unästhetisch waren. Da hätten wir eigentlich schon gehen sollen. Jedenfalls haben wir uns für die Spätzle mit Sauerkraut und das Holzfällersteak entschieden. Nach 7 Minuten kam bereits das Essen an, was wir schon sehr merkwürdig fanden. Optisch glichen die beiden Gerichte den Bildern, die auf der Speisekarte abgebildet waren in keinster Weise. Zu den Spätzlen mit Sauerkraut und frischen Röstzwiebeln: Optisch ist die Menge an Fertigröstzwiebeln, die das komplette Gericht verdecken aufgefallen - es waren keine frischen, wie angegeben! Man könnte meinen, die Röstzwiebeln sollten das, was dich darunter verbirgt verstecken. Darunter befanden sich Spätzle, stark gewürzt und rot eingefärbt, ich vermute mit Paprikapulver. Zum Geschmack: absolut ungenießbar. Die Spätzle waren alles andere als frisch, vermutlich ein Fertigprodukt. Neben dem visuellen roten Paprikapulver kam ein wirklich stark gewürzter ungenießbarer Geschmack zum Vorschein - ähnlich als hätte man viel zu viel Maggi-Tütengewürz verwendet. Auch das Sauerkraut war nicht genießbar. Mit frischer Küche hat das nichts zu tun! Zum Holzfällersteak: Das Steak war nicht wie angepriesen in brauner Sauce angerichtet, sondern schwamm genau wie die Kartoffeln in Öl. Das Fleisch war leider ungenießbar, weil es zudem sehr knorpelig war. Auch hier wurde das Gericht mit Fertigröstzwiebeln getoppt oder besser gesagt versteckt. Ingesamt war das Essen auch komplett versalzen und in Öl getränkt. Komplett ungenießbar. Als dann nach 45 Minuten der Kellner gefragt hat, ob alles gut sei (wir waren mit einem anderen Tisch, die einzigen Gäste im Lokal) und wir ihm mitteilten, dass das Essen leider versalzen und nicht gut sei, schien der Kellner sehr ungläubig und äußerte kein Verständnis. Es folgte keine Entschuldigung. Aus „Kulanz“ bekamen wir die das günstigere Gericht, die Spätzle, gutgeschrieben. Ingesamt eine Touristenfalle - keine Empfehlung!

Das gebratene Fleisch ist köstlich. Es ist eine große Portion. Ich kann es kaum essen.

Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen auf dem Rückweg nach Söll. Ich hatte ein Schweinesteak mit Röstzwiebeln und Bratkartoffeln. Leider war das Essen insgesamt sehr ölig und wirkte nicht frisch zubereitet, sondern eher wie Tiefkühlware. Auch preislich fand ich es etwas zu teuer für die gebotene Qualität. Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp und den kleinen Hunger ist es in Ordnung, für regelmäßige Besuche oder besondere Anlässe gibt es jedoch bessere Alternativen.

Die geräucherte Forelle war köstlich, und auch der Glühwein war gut; die Atmosphäre war gemütlich, es wurde lokale Musik gespielt, und die Tatsache, dass sie auch in der Saison geöffnet blieben, in der der See zugefroren war und Bootstouren ausgesetzt wurden, war ein Segen für Reisende.

Friendly waiters, good service, but the pictures don't reflect reality. The food is 100% frozen and absolutely inedible. NOT recommended!! If you're in a bad mood, the currywurst (Vienna sausages with Hela spiced ketchup) is highly recommended – guaranteed to make you laugh.

The food was an absolute disgrace. It was 100% convenience or frozen food – regardless of whether it was meat or sausage. The Spätzle were a disaster: inedible with either cheese or sauerkraut. Completely tasteless, uninspired, like it had been quickly reheated, and prepared without any skill whatsoever. We sat alone in the restaurant for almost an hour, which should have been a warning sign. Now we know why. All the dishes we ordered were inedible. Even the drinks were bad – whether apple juice or cola, nothing tasted normal. And the worst part: all six of us had stomach aches and nausea after eating. That's unacceptable. The service was okay, which is a plus – but that can't compensate for the kitchen disaster in any way. For these prices, what's served here is simply disrespectful to the guests. We are angry, disappointed, and feel completely ripped off. Never again.

The fries were pretty good, the hot soup was delicious, the pork chop was a bit tough and might not be suitable for older people, the atmosphere was nice, and the apple cream roll was just average.

Since we had a pregnant woman and a child with us, we asked whether any dishes contained alcohol. The waiter was extremely rude. We won’t be coming back Again! This was my third visit to Königssee and my second time dining at your restaurant. (By the way, the first experience was excellent. Back then, my German wasn't very good, and I struggled to pronounce the check in German. The waiter humorously taught me how to say it.) However, this was the worst and most infuriating dining experience I've had in Germany in over two years. I even hesitated to tip the waiter. Our table (four adults and one child) clearly felt discriminated against. The waiter (dark-haired, shorter than the other waiter) was extremely cold to our Asian table from start to finish. He didn't smile or say thank you. However, he was extremely welcoming to the English-speaking guests at the next table, offering drinks and saying "thank you" after they ordered. We were not treated equally at all. (We primarily ordered in English, and I tried to communicate in what German I could.) Even more unacceptable was the unexpected extra charge on the bill. The waiter later explained that it was because my sister had taken two extra plates. However, my sister had asked, "May I?" and the waiter hadn't informed me that this would incur an extra charge. When I questioned this, he responded with a defiant and dismissive tone: "You can't change anything anyway." He could have responded in other ways, such as "I want to explain to your sister, but her English doesn't seem good," or something like that. Unfortunately, he chose the most effective way to ruin someone's day. Furthermore, after we requested the bill, we were forced to wait for nearly 15 minutes. During this time, the waiter wasn't overwhelmed and continued to serve other customers. This delay clearly felt disrespectful and deliberately dismissive. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, he simply replied, "I'm just a waiter," and walked away. We later attempted to locate the manager, but upon seeing us, another employee simply gestured towards the kitchen, mumbled his name, and made no eye contact. He then immediately retreated into his room and closed the door. (The kitchen was occupied by a busy chef, not a manager.) Realizing that further inquiries would yield no response, I left the restaurant. This dishonest, unprofessional, and discriminatory service severely undermined our otherwise enjoyable trip to Königssee. We will not be returning to your establishment and will initiate a formal complaint procedure. We are also warning other potential visitors to avoid similar treatment. The server (black hair, shorter than the other, we were there at around 12:30pm on 10/24/2025) was consistently cold and unfriendly towards us as Asian customers—no smile, no acknowledgment, no thank you. Yet he was notably warm and enthusiastic when serving the neighboring table of native English-speaking guests, actively introducing drink options and expressing thanks after taking their order. We did not receive similar treatment. (We ordered primarily in English, and I also tried to communicate in German as much as I could.) What was even more unacceptable was an additional charge that appeared on the bill without prior notice. The server later explained that it was because my sister took two extra plates. However, she had asked “May I?” at the time, and the server did not mention that this would incur an additional cost. When I questioned this hidden fee, he responded in a provoking and dismissive tone: “You can’t change anything.” Furthermore, after we asked to pay, we were left waiting for nearly 15 minutes. During this time, the server was not too busy to bring the bill; he continued serving other guests as usual. The delay felt intentional and disrespectful. When I expressed our dissatisfaction, he replied coldly: “I’m just a waiter.” and walked away. We then attempted to speak to the manager. When we asked another staff member, he simply pointed vaguely toward the kitchen and mentioned a name without eye contact, then immediately went into a room and closed the door. (Only the chef cooking in the kitchen could be seen; no manager was present.) At that point, I realized continuing would lead to no resolution, so we left. The dishonest, unprofessional, and discriminatory attitude we experienced completely ruined our visit to Königssee. We will not be returning to this restaurant and will proceed with formal complaints. Additionally, we will inform others to prevent them from experiencing the same treatment.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were served very quickly, and the drinks and food were served very quickly. We enjoyed the food there, and we also found the ambiance very pleasant.

My family and I walked in around dinner time, a waiter took our drinks order and left before we could order our food. Another waiter came over and asked for our food order, the drinks came before we could finish and the waiter said with a dirty look ‘Why didn’t you mention you already ordered drinks?’. My family and I were extremely confused. When we asked for clarification the earlier waiter raised his voice and was extremely rude and insulting, Only then did we realize in this restaurant, you can only order with one waiter. We had never experienced such rude and horrible service in Europe, I highly discourage anyone especially tourists, from visiting this restaurant. The food was average and absolutely does not justify the rudeness. Truly a very disappointing experience.

We ordered a Wiener schnitzel with fries. What we got was an inedible, industrially produced, breaded, pressed mush, 😝 that bore no resemblance to meat. The fries were also poorly cooked. This also reflected the service. Very inattentive staff, who stood in the doorway, fiddling around on their phones. Reordering drinks wasn't possible, even after almost 15 minutes of empty glasses. I'd better not comment on the total price 🤑. All in all, a solid 6.

Traditional interior, pleasant and attentive service. But we expected more from the food. We ordered different trouts, but as it turned out, the only difference was the price.

We were at the Seehaus, Seestraße 30, on the Schönau Königssee, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing restaurant visits in a long time. It started as soon as we entered: There was no greeting, no friendly "hello," or smile... instead, we were simply stared at. And this despite the fact that we were the only guests in the restaurant at the time. A very strange first impression. After ordering, the food arrived fairly quickly, which initially seemed positive. But then came the disappointment: the "Lumberjack Steak" wasn't cooked properly. When we pointed this out to the waiter, there was no apology or attempt to resolve the issue. He just stood there, nodded, and left. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant in this location. When paying, we decided to leave a small tip anyway, out of politeness. But again: no "thank you," no smile, nothing. Instead, the staff continued to seem indifferent. What further irritated us was that while we were completely ignored, the guests outside, all of whom looked European, received a very warm welcome and farewell. We, on the other hand, received neither a warm welcome nor a warm farewell upon arrival or departure. Whether it was due to our foreign roots or some other reason, I don't know. But the feeling of not being welcome was unfortunately palpable. Overall, the visit was disappointing from start to finish: an unfriendly welcome, poor food, a lack of service, and the feeling of being treated differently. For us, this is definitely not a restaurant we would recommend or ever visit again.

We were in really good hands here, great waiters, great food, price/performance ratio is absolutely right here. Perfect for a relaxing stay

We stopped by this restaurant after a strenuous hike. The menu pictures may not look particularly appetizing, but don't be fooled. I opted for the Swiss Alpine Steak and was surprised by a very juicy, cheesy, and sweet turkey steak.

We were looking for a restaurant for lunch and decided to stop by this one because the signs outside said, among other things, "vegetarian burger." As a vegetarian, you usually get no or very limited food options, and the food is almost the same everywhere. I was very pleased, and the burger was fantastic! The fries were fantastic, too. My husband had cheese spaetzle, and those were also great. 👍🏻 If we're ever at Königssee again, we'll be back.

Fish fillet – fast food quality, Wiener Schnitzel – fast food quality, Cordon Bleu – fast food quality. Side salads and fries – the same. We can't comment on the rest. Let's be completely honest – we come as customers because there's nothing else available locally and we're hungry, regardless of the reviews. We come from the restaurant industry and see what's homemade and what isn't. Prices are at tourist level – in other words, inflated.

For large group bookings, the service staff attitude was extremely poor. We made a reservation well in advance by email, specifying our requirements, and were told that only cash payments would be accepted, otherwise the booking would be canceled. Despite the advance reservation, the restaurant did not hold any tables, resulting in our guests being unable to have lunch on time. After payment, they refused to provide an invoice. We do not recommend this restaurant for travel agency group bookings.

Be careful. Tourist trap that only accepts cash. Only cash. In 2025. Where you going?

We were in the upper part of the Seehaus and are extremely disappointed and angry! We were served three poorly presented cordon bleus with ham in it. One of them had small flies on and under the cordon bleus, which he also sent back. Then, without an apology or anything else, he was made a new one, even though he said he didn't want any more. He was also insinuated that he might have put the flies on the plate himself. Because of this comment, he didn't want it anymore. A few minutes later, the chef himself came by and said he should be more respectful when working in the kitchen in 40-degree heat. That's all well and good, but should we eat live animals because of that???! The situation then escalated and an argument ensued. A very unprofessional and insulting way a restaurant treats its guests. This shouldn't and cannot happen! A disgrace.

The restaurant is located about 2 minutes from Königssee. There's a small beer garden in the front and inside. Due to the large number of tourists, you might have to wait 1-2 hours for your food, as was the case today. The waiter was fair and informed us of this beforehand. The prices are steep. For three cakes with one whipped cream and three drinks, we paid €36. That's quite steep. Unfortunately, we didn't like the cake. Because it was so busy, the waiter could barely serve outside.

Upon arrival we were told that we could only order drinks as it would take around 30 minutes before we could order food. This was a bit unusual in itself, but we accepted it. After 45 minutes of waiting, however, no one had come to take our food order. We also observed that guests who had arrived after us had already had their orders taken and were eating. When we politely approached a waiter to ask about our order, we were met with an unacceptable and extremely rude tone. Instead of an apology or explanation, we were met with an angry response, which was deeply unprofessional and ruined our entire evening. The lack of attention and especially the aggressive reaction from the staff is unacceptable. We left the place with a very bad experience and unfortunately cannot recommend this place based on the service we received

Frygtelig oplevelse, da vi ankom fik vi at vide vi ikke kunne bestille mad, der ville gå 30 minutter inden vi kunne. Vi bestilte drikkevarer og ventede ca 45-50 minutter. Da vi henvendte os til tjeneren fik vi et ordentligt møgfald, trods andre der kom efter os havde bestilt mad, og fået mad. Ikke et sted jeg vil anbefale nogen.

The menu is old but with English explanations. The photos on the menu are not very attractive, but they are similar to the real thing (can you say it is very honest). An ordinary restaurant in the tourist area.

Absolutely not recommended if you like good fiod and positive customer service. If you still go, you will face there rude behavior.

We had a Cordon Bleu and a roast beef with onions. The Cordon Bleu was a bit small but very tasty. It was enough, and at €15.90, it was one of the cheaper dishes. The roast beef with onions was very tasty, as were the fried potatoes. The portion was larger, but so was the price at €27.90. All in all, it's typically expensive for a tourist spot, but the quality is very good and delicious. I can therefore recommend it without reservation.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, the service was great too, even able to speak Czech and English. Of course the prices are high, I have ordered my dish which came about 28 euro, for me it is very expensive yet this is what you get in tourist area. The size of the dish wasn’t small at least and it was well cooked too. Overall, nice restaurant but expect the prices will be high.

Had the gourmet block. We wanted to look for a table, but we were rudely told at the entrance that the voucher wasn't valid today because it was a public holiday. So when we said that today wasn't a holiday, the excuse was that it was Easter holidays. The vouchers are not valid on public holidays, but today is not a public holiday and there are no exceptions to holidays. I will never set foot in here again. Then it's better to go one step further.

Can't understand the bad reviews. We ate there today, twice the Jägerpfanne. The food was good and the service was super nice. It looks like other users/reviewers ate at the restaurant opposite, but unfortunately rated the Seehaus. You should look carefully at what or which restaurant you are judging. We were satisfied and would like to come back.

A large salad with fresh vegetables is a happy prelude to lunch, paired with a refreshing beer, and the original trout retains the freshness of the fish. The mountain view outside the window is a bonus, a must-visit restaurant at King Lake~

The hot drinks are very overpriced, but not unusual for a tourist destination. Since the hot meals were also reasonably priced, I settled for a pretzel. I thought I couldn't go wrong with that. Unfortunately, it was hard and chewy. I expected something different from a Bavarian pretzel. One of the two restrooms didn't have a lock.

So dear Google, how did this happen? It says Restaurant Seehaus am Königsee and on the right there is a picture of the neighbors opposite and all the bad reviews go to Restaurant Seehaus. I was served a soup (potato soup). Unfortunately it only consisted of water and was cooked from vegetable stock. Two slices of potatoes and half a Viennese. She also had a bite and I think she was sour Someone who can cook well wouldn't even serve his worst enemy such broth. It's a shame, as a Bavarian I would be ashamed to serve something like that to my guests. My neighbor at the table had currywurst with fries which was again good. But what can you do wrong? I asked the waiter about it and gave it back. Unfortunately it snapped and I wasn't offered anything else. That alone is confirmation that this is not professional.

I can warn myself, the cordombleu was very disgusting.

Visited on 114.03.12 (Wednesday)🥰 The trout is very fresh and delicious!

Fresh fish has no fishy smell and does not require too much seasoning, so it is delicious.

I ordered 1 Cordon Bleu with fries. It was frozen food and really disgusting. The fries were still ok but they weren't really good either. The food was very carelessly prepared with lemon and cranberries on the schnitzel, as if you didn't have a bowl for the cranberries. Normally you use the lemon for the schnitzel. No salad to garnish, nothing. There was probably no cook at work. We also found a piece of metal in the food. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. I forgot it out of sheer disappointment. The restaurant is very old and really needs to be renovated. Sorry you'll never see us again, we were really very disappointed and angry.... pure rip off... I don't recommend it to anyone.

The atmosphere looked inviting, so we (2 adults, 1 toddler) decided to eat at the lake house for lunch. At the beginning no one greeted us and I poked my head into the kitchen to find out that card payment was possible. The restaurant was otherwise deserted. We were told to choose a table and someone would come to us straight away. In the meantime, 7 people came into the restaurant who were not greeted again and who, after walking back and forth for 3 minutes, decided to leave the restaurant. After listening to the conversations in the kitchen for 15 minutes and no one paying any attention to us, let alone bringing a menu, we decided to leave. Just as we were putting on our jackets, the waiter arrived. I wanted to explain to him why we were leaving the restaurant again. But he wasn't interested in that at all. He turned his back on me to go back into the kitchen. If it takes so long to bring a card, I don't even want to find out how long our entire visit to the restaurant would have taken. That's why we can't recommend the Seehaus and won't visit it again.

The experience was overall good. We went to the restaurant after finishing the boat tour. It’s nicely located on the street between the lake and the information center. The guy was friendly and came back when we weren't ready to order. He also offered alternatives to pork when we asked. The food looked bigger on the menu. We had the XXL burger, which wasn’t as big and the fried seelach fillet. The fillet wasn’t the best, but the presentation was nice with lots of salads and vegetables. We also had orange juice, which unfortunately didn’t taste great—it was like supermarket juice. The place is large and gives a local Bayrisch vibe. It wasn’t crowded, and the tables were spaced out well, giving good personal space. The prices were moderate; they could be a little cheaper in the city, but for a tourist spot, it was fine. Overall, it was a good experience.

The steak was quite large and tasted good, and the fried potato chips were also delicious. The other order was the German sausage which was surprisingly good and delicious. The beer tastes good. I'll take care of it.

Grilled trout with dark beer is amazing

When it comes to schnitzel and cordon, ready-made products are guaranteed to be used. Not even these are served 100% “done”. Fries also not served ready. If you ask the staff about it, they will respond with disinterest. The place is basically cool, but the huge cobwebs on the walls are rather unappetizing.

The location is particularly nice and the staff is nice, but we were there after 6:20 p.m. and we were told that the kitchen was already closed, even though this wasn't noted on the website and we drove there specifically . In addition, some prices are simply far too high despite the location. For an orange juice with a scoop of ice cream on top, 10.50 is way too much, even if you end up liking it at all.

Restaurant is open until 9 p.m. On a Saturday (!) we come to the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. and want to order food. We are told that the kitchen is already closed and that only drinks are available. There is no other restaurant open anywhere, so we came here full of hope and were sorely disappointed. No notice on the website that the kitchen closes three hours beforehand, nothing. By the way, the prices are absolutely ridiculous. €15 for a scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot raspberry sauce. €10.50 for a small orange juice with ice… You can imagine the rest of the prices. We cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

We were here on 10/30/2024, the service was good, the food was prepared quickly. I liked everything, it was delicious! Yes, it's expensive. But we should have understood all this!

We were there for dinner with two families around 5 p.m. in the evening. Food was bad. We had pizza and soup. 2 pizzas were burnt, one was still raw. The pizzas were very small and tasted like frozen pizzas. The pumpkin soup was ok, less creamy, very watery. The equipment is very old. More like an ancient pub.
