I received friendly service. Food was good. I would like to visit again

We ordered pizza which was just a frozen re-heated pizza. Fries were also frozen re-heated and stale. The snitzel was not properly cooked. All in all I would recommend to avoid, although the attractive location near the lake. Eat somewhere else.

Of course, the prices in this area are anything but cheap - but they are still about 3 euros less than the restaurants directly at the harbor. The service was friendly, the atmosphere inside and outside in the shady garden was nice. The food was okay, but not great either. And the salad with cheese spaetzle has unfortunately apparently fallen victim to inflation. Used to be standard. Nevertheless, we recommend it in this area.

I usually check the reviews before I go to a restaurant. But the children wanted ice cream and there were tons of wasps flying around outside. The prices are absolutely a joke. 7.90 euros for two small baby ice cream scoops and 5.50 euros for a latte which is sold in a small cup as a crema with milk. If you look at the reviews of the entire street, we have probably landed on a rip-off street here. True to the motto: They won't come back here anyway. At least the staff (presumably from Eastern Europe) were very friendly.

The restaurant is located right on the harbor and offers a beautiful view. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, which made the visit very pleasant. Unfortunately I can only rate the food with three stars. I wasn't impressed by the quality of the meat and was a bit too oily for my taste. The fries, on the other hand, were particularly tasty and are definitely worth a try. The price for two people including drinks and food is around 60 euros, which is understandable given the location. The restaurant is particularly recommended for a nice time with coffee and cake. I hope the quality of the food will be improved in the future.

Operation and service was ok, didn't take long. But unfortunately the food was disappointing for my taste for the prices quoted. I had trout Müllerin that came out of the deep fryer and wasn't quite cooked through. For 22 euros I would have expected that this would at least be baked in butter. Schnitzel and fries were ok for the children, but for me it was too mixed and the breading was too soggy. 15 euro. My wife had the game pan, the meat was still a bit very pink and streaky. It had nothing to do with German or Bavarian cuisine. It's bad when people save a lot of money, come to Germany and are then served something like that, typical of the country. I think I'll buy a deep fryer and open a restaurant in a tourist hotspot soon. If the owner is reading this, I would like to tell him that he should urgently hire a professional chef if he is serious about the restaurant. This won't work well in the long term, even if the situation currently allows it.

Very welcoming service from Jordan, our server. Got the trout/seesaiblingsfilet with vegetables and was pretty happy at the variety of veggies (mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, carrots, and a side salad). Was way better than the photo suggested. Kaiserschmarrn (little pan fried dough patties with powdered sugar and applesauce) was an excellent way to finish the meal, but beware it’s a huge plate!

Quite a simple atmosphere with below-average food that satisfies your hunger but is very marginal in terms of taste. The CordonBleu was filled with indefinable cheese and the fat in my piece of pork steak had a very - one could almost say "horrible" - taste.

Food wasn't good, the knuckle had absolutely no taste and was way too huge. None of this had anything to do with the traditional cuisine that we actually know or expect here. The waitress simply clears away plates and napkins during the meal, which in my opinion is not possible. Music way too loud and terrible

It was the worst experience in Königssee. The cordon bleau looks good but tasted horrible, especially since they added a lot of onions and the ham was probably not good since a few days. To adjust the taste a bit we asked for some ketchup and mayo and they charged us (without telling before) 2 euros (+ they took 40 cents more when we payed - which is nothing but makes understand the dishonesty of the place). Even the Fries did not taste so good.

Lousy service. Avoid at all cost. Everything u ask for will be charged. Ketchup - 50cts per packet. Refill of hot water for tea, they charge the same price. When we say we don’t want it anymore, the rude waiter say too late, place the water on table and left. We asked and there was no option given and they put e cup of hot water on your table, and u get charged. Nonsense. This shop is a disgrace to the wonderful country.

The food tastes terrible. Disgraceful as a restaurant to bring such poor quality to the table. Käsespätzle stinks and tastes horrible. Potato salad tastes like it came out of a bucket. The side salad was a joke. We just tried it and paid straight away and left. Not once did anyone ask why we were leaving straight away… and with such high prices. Dinner at lunch on 4/21. The waiter was very professional and provided a good seat by the window. The food was also quite delicious.

2023/9 Table and floors have stuck (smacked) > dirty > The table was only cleaned after the third complaint. We were the only 10 guests and the staff was standing around. You don't go there. Bad conclusion> We're glad that none of us leaned on the table, otherwise we'd still be stuck there today.

Please don't do this to yourself. I don't normally write reviews but I have to here. You have to be lucky if someone brings you the card. Food didn't come through after 1.5 hours (not very busy), fries didn't come through, the currywurst was like rubber and the spaetzle were the worst I've ever eaten.

Service was quite good. The soups are more on the bland side. My germknödel was very dry. Warmed up in the microwave, luckily there was vanilla sauce otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat it. Under the motto, the guest only comes once.... What a shame

Unfortunately we cannot leave a good review here. We were looking for a delicious coffee/cake and ice cream in the afternoon and passed the Seehaus restaurant and felt attracted to it both from the outside and inside. Unfortunately we weren't noticed or greeted and then looked for a table ourselves. Staff walked past several times and no one came to us even when we gave a hand signal (hello, we're new here). My husband had to go to the staff and ask for tickets. We then order two coffees, two cakes and a children's ice cream sundae. After 20 minutes in which nothing happened, we drew attention to ourselves and asked for our order. Then the coffee came promptly. Our son, already very jittery, was still waiting for the ice cream. We really ordered food that was quick, nothing warm. Well the coffee was empty, still no cake or ice cream in sight. After two more questions (there were at least 4 of the staff walking around and there were a moderate number of guests), you answered sloppily and then turned away and ran away. Sometime later the “very elaborate” dishes came. So we ate the cake separately from the coffee, which was already empty. Conclusion: I have no idea what was going on, but it was a really terrible visit for us. And by the way, three other couples and groups only had annoyed faces and questions... So we weren't the only ones feeling this way. Unfortunately there was no nice explanation from the staff. We don't go there anymore.

Unfortunately very disappointing. Not recommendable. We had two beers, Almdudler, pancake soup, yeast dumplings and salad. The yeast dumpling was actually quite okay. The Almdudler was stale and uncarbonated. The soup was just a dissolved bouillon cube and yellow. The "salad" (two layers of lettuce with three pieces of pepper) was completely rotten and had black slimy spots everywhere. When we wanted to point this out, it was cleared away without a word - then the waiter came back and asked what the problem was. We said we would like to have the salad returned and get the bill. We still had to pay for the salad and in 2024 you can only pay in cash here. Incomprehensible.

The restaurant "Seehaus am Königssee" (Mean: Lake house at Kings Lake) is a really nice restaurant, with delicious traditional dishes. Super tasty specialties. We tried different dishes at the table. I tried the so-called “Kaiserschmarrn with apple compote” (This is a sweet cut-up pancake with apple compote). Very tasty and especially suitable for two people (Ate all myself ;) haha). Overall very satisfied, just not with the wait of almost 30-40 minutes until the food came (Reccomandation: Tell the guests that it takes longer). Everything else was really good. Would love to come back.

Just came back from a good lunch with my family. I ate the schnitzel and my kids Pizza (it was a lot!). All food was hot and fresh. The food came quick as well. No complaints, just a good restaurant. Oh, and the ice cream was good as well :)

Waren heute zum Essen dort und kommen kein zweites mal mehr. Im Angebot war Cordon Bleu mit Pommes für 12,70€, super Preis dachte ich bis es auf dem Teller war. Ein gefroren gekauftes mini Cordon mit Pommes und alter Salatgarnitur. Meine Frau hatte Käsespätzle mit einem gemischten Salat und der Salat war alles andere als frisch. Alte Salatblätter und alte Karotten. Haben den Salat reklamiert und wollten auch keinen neuen. Als Antwort kam das die Salatprodukte aus Deutschland mittlerweile so schlecht sind und er eigentlich keinen Salat empfehlen würde. Kinderschnitzel hatten wir auch noch, wovon ich auch abraten würde und als Vorspeise eine Pfannenkuchensuppe die einen leichten Fischgeschmack hatte. Echt schade aber wir kommen leider nicht mehr.

Essen war eigtl. sehr lecker, mit utopischen Preisen und hatten danach beschleunigte Verdauung. Zumindest mein Sohn und mein Mann, die Holzfällersteak hatten. Ich habe etwas mitgegessen, mich hat’s aber nicht so sehr erwischt. Kellner war flott und sehr nett, deswegen zwei Sterne. Ambiente in die Jahre gekommen. Keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Wir haben am Nachmittag einen Eiskaffee, Cappuccino und Käsekuchen getrunken bwz. gegessen. Da es an der Fußgängerzone zum Bootssteg liegt ist dort viel los Und nicht gerade leise. Käsekuchen war gut. Eiskaffee hab schon besseren getrunken. Service freundlich.

LOVE that this place sells the entire fried fish, not a fillet at all but an actual whole fish. It was fried to perfection. So delicious with the potatoes. Wanted to have more than one fish because it was so good and fresh 🐠 Staff here is also friendly and the view here of the Bavarian alps 🏔️ is absolutely stunning.

Wir hatten nachmittags nur Kaffee und Käsekuchen. Der Kuchen war gut, der Kaffee sogar sehr gut. Kleine Anekdote am Nebentisch. Älterer Gast ruft zum 2. Mal nach dem Kellner weil der Bus gleich fährt. Der Kellner: sie sehen doch daß viel zu tun ist. Gast: sie sind aber unfreundlich Kellner: Bin ich nicht Gast: Doch, wir kommen selbst aus der Gastronomie Kellner: Ja, vielleicht vor 30 Jahren 😁😁😁

Die Bedienung war sehr flott und die Kellner waren freundlich. Das Essen war leider gar nicht unser Fall. Das Schnitzel war nach unserer Meinung sehr zäh und bei der Salatbeilage fehlte ein Dressing.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Die Bedienung hervorragend. Der Kaiserschmarren war genial. Die Umgebung am königsee war sehr ansprechend. Die Bootsfahrt nach Sankt Bartholomä sehr schön. In Sankt Bartholomä gibt es wunderschöne Wanderwege. Ein unvergesslicher Tag.

We sat on the terrace and I had a burger and Kaiserschmarrn - both tasty, but very expensive. We were pleased though.

Nach einer Rundfahrt über den Königssee haben wir uns für ein Abschlussbier auf einen tollen Tag entschieden. Die etwas höher gelegene Terrasse lud sehr dazu ein. Kurzfristig wollten wir dann doch auch etwas essen und haben kurz entschlossen die Bestellung aufgegeben. Hier der Fehler. Ohne im Internet die Rezension gelesen zu haben, bestellten wir unser Abend essen. Nach nicht langer Zeit bekamen wir unser Essen, welches wir dann doch eine Chance gegeben haben. Leider mussten wir ein Essen zurück geben. Das Fleisch war qualitativ sehr schlecht und der Schwamm im Fett. Der Kellner hat jedoch dieses ohne großen Anstand zurück genommen, mit dem Kommentar, dass dieses Gericht heute bereits 100 mal ;) herausgegeben wurde und erst die erste Beanstandung kam. Auf der Rechnung tauchte das Gericht natürlich auch nicht auf. Naja, selber schuld, wenn man sich als Tourist nahe der Hauptsehenswürdigkeit nicht im Vorfeld informiert. Unterm Strich, essen leider sehr schlecht!

Essen bisschen lieblos zubereitet, haben Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes und Sauerkraut mit Würsten gegessen. Pommes haben nach altem Fritteusenfett geschmeckt, Sauerkraut mit Würsten wurde mit Brot aus der Packung (zweifellos vom Discounter) serviert, das Brot war meiner Meinung nach ne Frechheit weil jeder sofort checkt dass es aus der Packung ist. Portionen eher klein

Wir haben leider erst nach der Bestellung realisiert, dass es sich hierbei um das - laut Bewertung - zweitschlechtetes Restaurant im Ort handelt. Dieser Eindruck wurde leider bestätigt. Das Zanderfilet (15€) war extrem trocken, mit vielen Gräten und absolut geschmacklos. Die Salatbeilage hat einen abgestandenen Eindruck gemacht. Die Käsespätzle (10€) waren besser, jedoch auch kein Highlight. Zudem ist ohne jeglichen Hinweis keine Kartenzahlung möglich, selbst in Zeiten von Corona. Eine Rechnung gab es übrigens auch nicht.

Von allen Restaurant die wir besucht haben war es definitiv mit einem anderen am unteren Ende.als wir rein kamen hab ich mich fehl am Platz gefühlt war nie ein gutes Zeichen ist. Die Bedienung war nicht super nett aber gut das könnte man mal verkraften, das essen war schnell da aber nicht sehr warm die Getränke hätte man zum Glück nicht kaputt machen können. Ich kann es leider nicht empfehlen.

Das Restaurant hat eine freundliche Bedienung, was aber auch schon alles ist. Das Essen ist nicht besonders gut, dennoch ausreichend, wenn man Hunger hat.

Wir ließen uns von den appetitlichen Abbildungen auf den Werbetafeln vor dem "Seehaus" in selbiges locken. Am Tisch angekommen, ließ schon die Innenausstattung (z. B. viel Fake an den Wänden) auf billige Massenabfertigung schließen, aber wir waren hungrig und meinten, so schlimm würde es schon nicht werden. Wurde es aber! Die beiden bestellten Seelachsfilets erwiesen sich als billigste Tiefkühlware mit dicker, pampiger Panade, dafür ohne Geschmack - da half auch unser Hunger nicht und wir ließen mehr als die Hälfte davon stehen. Der gemischte Salat lag jeweils ohne jede Salatsauce auf dem Teller; der quietschgelbe, fade Kartoffelsalat kam unzweifelhaft aus dem Fertigeimer, war aber noch das Genießbarste. Eine 10,80 € teure Unverschämtheit! Einzig die (durch einen von uns dreien bestellte) halb so teure Tagessuppe (Kürbis) war frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich akzeptabel. Dieses "Restaurant" tun wir uns kein zweites Mal an!
