Die besten Restaurants in Oberammergau

Visited for a meal in the break in the Passion Play. The restaurant was very busy but the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and very well presented. Our waiter Lukas was amazing and looked after us very well. Definitely worth a visit

We have been coming here for years, but of course we particularly appreciate the service and the quality of the food. The daily menu always includes regional, exciting interpretations. Unfortunately, our last visit was really the last, Mundart is closing and with it one of the last good restaurants in the Ammergauer Land, I hope there will be light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Delicious food and attentive service.

Quick food, served hot with friendly service. Went with kids and sat outside, also appreciated was the little table with kids activities.

I love this place. Once a year I visit the beautiful town of Oberammergau and then eat at Wankalm at least once. The way there on foot is great, the restaurant with the great decor and the pizzas are a dream.... I'm looking forward to next year

My room was renovated and looked great 👍 In the evening we had a buffet, which was very tasty. I was there for 3 days, everything was perfect for me and my dog.

Great mexican food for a really fair price. Kind staff, and big portions!

The food was excellent. We had the special Asparagus and veal Schnitzel and the small salad and it was all good and enough for 2. The salad was fresh and very tasty. The white asparagus was huge. Like a foot long and 3/4 inch in diameter. It was very tasty and tender. Would recommend to anyone.

Gottseidank hat dieses Lokal geschlossen oder ist vielleicht auch geschlossen worden. Alles furchtbar. Zum bisher schlechtesten Lokal in dem ich war und zum "Bemsl" ist noch mal ein Riesenabstand. Schlecht, schlechter am schlechtesten kann man da nur sagen. Hatten dann auch noch das Pech, dass wir an Sylvester dort waren. Jetzt ist mir klar warum es in Oberammergau an Sylvester nur im Bemsl noch Plätze gab. Null Auswahl beim Essen . Üble Pommes (noch weiß und nach altem Fett riechend) und üble Burger gabs. Sonst nichts. Von wegen Spare Rips oder Steaks etc Und auf den Mist musste man noch lange warten obwohl im Lokal nicht viel los war. Und seltsames Personal. Haben das Lokal nach kurzer Zeit, wie die meisten anderen Gäste auch, empört verlassen.

Really great atmosphere, the pepper knuckle is the best thing I've eaten in a long time and the own beer is awesome! In any case, definitely one of the best shops in this small town! 😊👍🏽

Unfortunately it's closed, it's a shame, we always felt very comfortable there and it tasted great. Thank you very much and all the best for the future to the Barnickel family.

We were warmly welcomed, our wishes for our daughter were taken into account and a small mishap was sorted out in a friendly and humorous manner. The food, the service and the ambience gave us an all-round great time at La Montana. And our little one got some princess attention, which always puts the little ones in a good mood. We'll be back.

Best kebab plate in town, highly recommended.
