Appetizers were good. Burger and fries were good as well. Mexican food wasn’t good. Fajitas were a chicken and shrimp stew served with corn. Not served on a hot skillet with mixed peppers and onions. Garlic dip was delicious as were the classic and strawberry margarita. Service was slow when the location started to get packed.

We ate very well here on our short vacation. Bringing our dog wasn't a problem either. Waiters were very attentive and friendly. We felt totally at home and can definitely recommend El Puente. Cocktails were delicious too...

This evening the food was once again very good and the service was exceptionally friendly, courteous and competent! The atmosphere is very harmonious and inviting. You feel very comfortable in this beautiful restaurant! The beer garden is also inviting. Special emphasis must also be placed on the cocktails that taste excellent, such as the Strawberry Margarita. We can only recommend the restaurant and will come back soon!

I have enjoyed coming here for years. The food and service are simply enjoyable. I can never choose what I want to eat, because it is all very tasty. Over the years, I think the burgers have become a bit smaller, but that shouldn't spoil the fun. If you want to be sure of a table, you have to make a reservation, which fortunately is very easy and smooth via the website.

Important in advance: you should definitely make a reservation. We reserved online about 45-60 minutes in advance. Without this we probably wouldn't have gotten a seat and would have been turned away. So make a reservation if you want to eat there :-). We had never eaten Mexican before and we had our 6 year old with us. That's why we asked in advance whether there was also a children's menu, otherwise we wouldn't have known what we could have ordered for him. It definitely wasn't visible online. But there is a children's menu with various dishes, so luckily we were able to stop in. The ambience is great as soon as you enter and looks good. The service is on point, super friendly and accommodating. Since we had no experience yet, we had various things explained to us and ultimately it was the Plato Yucatan for those who were undecided and fajitas con carne des res and nuggets with fries. The food came quickly. The portions were very large and you were full. In terms of taste, it was a culinary delight. The happy hour cocktails were also delicious. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

When you enter the El Puente Mexican Restaurant in Oberammergau, you are immediately greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The furnishings are designed with great attention to detail, which gives the restaurant a charming and cozy character. The service was extremely nice and accommodating. We immediately felt comfortable and in good hands. It is rare to encounter such attentive and friendly service. The food was simply fantastic. We opted for the burgers, and it was an excellent choice. The meat came from the region, which you could clearly taste in the freshness and quality. The burger buns were homemade and gave the whole thing a special touch. The fries that came with it were also great. Finally we tried the ice cream, which was also very tasty. All in all, the El Puente Mexican Restaurant in Oberammergau is a real tip. The combination of excellent food, friendly service and loving furnishings makes a visit a completely successful experience. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it.

The food is very good and fits perfectly with the atmosphere of this place. Unfortunately, when I ordered the beer, the waiting time was really long. The people who came after us were sitting at a table wet with rain and left after 10 minutes because no one showed up to take their order (there weren't many people in the place at that moment). Nevertheless, I recommend it because the food is good and maybe the service just had a bad day that day

The restaurant was full (theater in the passion play house), but we still had the very tasty food quickly! What should be highlighted is the very attentive and friendly service from Dennis behind the counter!

THE hip address in Oberammergau for great food and delicious cocktails!!! There is plenty of seating in the dining room, and there are also plenty of seating options on two terraces during the nice season. The young service team is relaxed and does a really good job!!! There's happy hour for cocktails twice a day, so everyone should get their money's worth 😎 All in all, you just have to be there to see for yourself. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed!!! There are parking spaces right in front of the door.

Food was only lukewarm, the prescribed time slots are annoying. And despite the time slot/reservation, we waited over an hour. Now the boss is opening a second restaurant in Oberammergau. Let's foam. He won't be able to match the delicious Schäufele from his predecessor.

German people took me there believing that this is Mexican food and as Mexican, how terrible. First, I don't know if those who made the menu are Mexican or at least have gone to Mexico, having the possibility of getting ingredients in Germany to get a little closer to the flavors of Mexico, they decide to make a strange fusion and a bit of a diagusting of what it is. the comfortable Mexican by presenting some "enchiladas" that have nothing to do with a real one and at a ridiculous price. In the end, courtesy of those who invited me, I decided not to be so blunt but I did invite them to come to my house to eat better food and with more similar ingredients. I don't recommend this place at all!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von knapp 15 Leuten zum Essen verabredet. Erstes Problem: Die vorgegebenen Zeiten. Wir haben uns für 20 Uhr entschieden, da wir sonst hätten nach 1,5 Stunden wieder gehen müssen. Was soll sowas denn? Einnahmen generiert man mit Getränken und weniger mit den Speisen. Wobei diese für die Qualität echt teuer gewesen sind. Ambiente: Dieses war sehr schön anzusehen. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist sehr gut gelungen. Fazit zur Bedienung: Die zwei Kellner die sich um uns gekümmert haben waren recht nett, aber der Service war einfach schlecht. Warum? Weil man einfach zu Lange auf die Abnahme der Getränkebestellung warten musste und dann auch noch mal auf die Getränke selbst... sofern überhaupt mal wer gekommen ist. Speisen: Ich habe Garnelen als Vorspeise bestellt, leider habe ich die falschen bekommen. Wollte ursprünglich Scampi mit Knoblauch Sahnesoße, habe aber welche mit Knoblauch-Chili bekommen , welche mit 3 Scheiben Bagutte und einer Scheibe Maisbrot serviert wurden, die aber auch erst nachgereicht wurden. Habe diese dann einfach gegessen. Der Geschmack war dann aber eine andere Sache. Die Scampis waren einfach in Ölschwimmend viel zu überwürzt. Preis: 13,50 Euro für Scampis, die mit Sicherheit vorgegart einfach aus dem TK Beutel kamen... Hauptspeise: Mexican Pork Steak, Kartoffelecken mit Bacon, Käse, Zwiebeln und Röstzwiebeln überbacken in einer Pfanne serviert. Es war einfach kein Steak, sondern ein unpaniertes plattes Schweineschnitzel ohne Geschmack auf Kartoffel Wedges gelegen, die einfach nur pappig nass gewesen sind. Das hatte Geschmacklich nichts mit Mexiko zu tun. Zumindest bei den Wedges hätte ich knusprige Kartoffelecken mit typisch Mexikanischen Gewürzen erwartet. Der Knaller waren aber die Röstzwiebeln aus der Plastikdose ober drauf. Um überhaupt nen bisschen Geschmack zu bekommen, musste ich Ketchup nehmen, das sagt schon einiges aus. Preis: 22 Euro..... Getränke: Man hat sich auf Cocktails gefreut, aber wurde einfach längere Zeit nicht bedient. Sorry, aber wenn ich ne 15er Gruppe zu Gast habe, dann mache ich schon mit Getränken richtig guten Umsatz. War hier wohl nicht gewollt. Wahrscheinlich, weil 3/4 der Gruppe unzufrieden mit dem Essen gewesen ist, was man daran erkennen konnte, dass sehr viel übrig geblieben ist. In der Masse war es nichts, was man von einen gutem Mexicaner kennt. hier waren es in der Masse einfach nur überwürzte und überscharfe Fertigspeisen mit sehr viel Konservenlebensmitteln verfeinert. Fazit: Enttäuschung und damit keine Wiederbesuch dieser Lokalität.

There were 4 of us a few weeks ago. I reserved a table online, which worked perfectly! The service used to be great... I haven't had such friendly service in a LONG time!! You're doing a really great job, we felt really comfortable. The food was also delicious and the homemade ice cream at the end was a great ending.

Wir würden hierhin nicht zurückkehren! Wir kennen viele mexikanische Restaurants in Deutschland, vornehmlich in unserem Heimatort in Berlin, aber z.B. auch in Kroatien!! Die zwar freundliche, aber gleichwohl spürbar routinemäßige Begrüßung ist das eine. Das andere ist, dass dieses Restaurant dem Niveau der anderen mexikanischen Restaurants in Europa in puncto Geschmack nicht auch nur nahe kommt. Oberammergau ist sogar weltweit führend in einigen Bereichen, etwa, was die Passionsspiele angeht oder die unmittelbare Nähe zu weiteren phantastischen Ausflugsorten (z.B. Kloster Ettal, Schloss Linderhof). Aber in puncto "mexikanische Restaurants" sicher nicht. Und ist ein Mexikaner in diesem Restaurant tätig? Nicht vorstellbar. Und dann noch dieser Druck durch die begrenzten Reservierungen. Von 18 bis 20 Uhr. Dann raus mit diesen Leuten. Und dann von 20 bis 22 Uhr. Und dann nichts wie Feierabend. Nochmals zum Essen als solchem. Masse statt Klasse. In Wahrheit: vornehmlich ein beliebtes "Einheimischen-Restaurant". Aber kein "echter" Mexikaner.

The menu is varied and I think everyone will find what they are looking for. The food is really very good and there is nothing wrong with it. There are also many delicious cocktails. The salad is really colorful and also deliciously prepared. There is also something for vegetarians. The restaurant itself is really cozy. Toilet very clean. Parking can also be found on site. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Can be highly recommended, hence 5 stars. Just remember to reserve in advance. We'll be back👍❤
