We were warmly welcomed, our wishes for our daughter were taken into account and a small mishap was sorted out in a friendly and humorous manner. The food, the service and the ambience gave us an all-round great time at La Montana. And our little one got some princess attention, which always puts the little ones in a good mood. We'll be back.

Per me è stata la prima volta in questo Ristorante pizzeria ed è stata un’esperienza incredibile! La pizza è semplicemente divina, con impasto leggero e ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. We came because of a newspaper article and wanted to test the new pizza oven. The pizza was ok, the side salad we ordered was chopped up raw vegetables with centimeter-thick dried carrot and cucumber slices without salad dressing. The service was loudly concerned with the family, not with us. The new oven is the heart of the restaurant, but it smells very much like an open fire. The rest of the furnishings are unfortunately a bit out of date and appear uncomfortable, not only because of the slightly older seating. The visit was disappointing.

Wow! La Montanara has been renewed both in terms of taste and appearance! The focus was on the highest product quality. If you were put off by this pizzeria before, I recommend trusting them again, you won't be disappointed!!! We also came back after almost a year and are really happy!

Many thanks to the entire team, the service and food were perfect. We had Pizza Diovola, Scallopina Limone and Tagliatelle with Scampi & Rucula, as a starter a salad Nizzarda. Everything tasted great. We wish the new owner much success in his implementation (interior design & terrace in planning), the first steps have been taken and have convinced us to come back. Highly recommended!

The only thing that could be saved was the pizza dough. When you go out to eat, you have to go to church first and hope to find fresh produce that isn't four or more days old. I don't recommend meat (it's frozen when it turns black) or chicken. Hygiene is really hard to find there

Ate here with 5 people. The pizzas were a bit black on the edges. We thought that was a shame. In addition, we had placed an order but the wrong pizza was delivered. As a result, 1 person in the group had to wait 10 minutes longer for their food than the rest of the people. The tomato soup was very tasty. You can park in front of the door here, but with a parking disc. Because we visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day, every lady who came in received a rose from the restaurant.

Very tasty Italian food, price performance 10/10, would be happy again

I was actually looking forward to my pizza after I was told it would take 20 minutes, but those 20 minutes turned into 1 1/2 hours. When I asked where the pizza was, all I got back was: The order was simply forgotten and I lost my appetite. When the pizza delivery guy came and said: There's a lot going on today. I thought to myself, Oh, I really didn't notice it at all🙈. And ate my lukewarm pizza, which didn't taste so good anymore. That was the last time I ordered there.

So great, we came back twice during the five days were in Oberammergau. Friendly waiters, excellent service. They even helped us with practicing Italian! Everybody loved their food. We were visiting during winter, so it was very quiet. The staff treated us to pistachio liquer shots after our meal. Grazie!

Cucina Della Mama, That's how gastronomy works. People work here who love their job. You can feel that when you greet us. The food was delicious and our visit was like a little vacation. Very nice and courteous service, fair prices and perfect pizzas. We were particularly impressed with the floor. 100% delicious and unreservedly recommended. There is certainly still some work to be done on the ambience, but overall we felt very comfortable and, above all, very welcome. The pizzeria on the upper floor was comfortably warm, the tables were warmly set and comfortably lit with candles. Furnishings are rustic and over time everything will certainly become more and more harmonious.

Good down-to-earth Italian with delicious pizzas.

Ci sono stato a cena, locale davvero accogliente e ben fornito con un vasto menù in grado di accontentare anche i palati più sopraffini. Il proprietario Alessio una persona meravigliosa che riesce a metterti a proprio agio e farti sentire a casa.

Overwhelmed staff, unusually tasteless decoration and furnishings and bad pizza. The dough was delicious, but you couldn't taste it anymore under the topping... Cooking time was far too short!!! Unfortunately, the dishes and glasses were not clean. The manager of the store nevertheless tried to be hospitable.

We did take out and dine in. The food is great the price is very affordable and the value for what you get with your money is excellent. I highly recommend this place. Wish we had eaten here the first night we were in town for our ski trip. If we are back in the area we will absolutely visit again.

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at this restaurant. We had to wait to get seated, then we had to wait long again to get the menu’s. The waiter brought out the drinks and he touched all the glasses on the upper part so we could lick down the finger prints from the glass, so unprofessional! On the empty glass we could see it’s totally dirty, just like the folks, plates and everything… The waiter didn’t come back. We had to wait more than 2 hours for 5 pizza’s (wasn’t full house). They didn’t bring it together, so we couldn’t enjoy the food at the same time. We ordered a vegetarian which also came out with meat. The whole restaurant smelled like they burning something non stop in the kitchen, you could see the smoke on the underneath the ceiling. Sorry to write these but that’s the truth.

We went here when we attended the passion play. There was great pizza we ordered. The pasta with cream and mushrooms was very good. You can ask for tap water do you don’t have to buy it. We ordered a salad but it had tuna on it so I did not eat it. Walk around and see what looks good and then order it!

Really original and very tasty food. Rarely have I heard such delicious food. The service was really nice, but due to the delivery service there were some mistakes so that our food reached our table at different times. If you can handle it, it's a worthwhile restaurant. If you can't wait long for your food, go to Mc's. I thought it was really cool

The best place for original Italian food, simply top.

Ordered a pizza and veal medallions. Pizza tasted good (I originally ordered a Pizza Funghi for 10.80 euros). By adding other types of mushrooms (the boss's recommendation), I then paid 21 euros for the pizza at the checkout. In my opinion, it could have been mentioned beforehand that the price of the pizza would then double. Veal medallions in Gorgonzola sauce were also ordered with fried vegetables and potatoes. The pieces of meat were like fillets, not like medallions and some of the vegetables were cold. The potatoes weren't cooked through. Before, the dish came wrong (first came breaded veal medallions, from which the breading was quickly removed and then tossed in Gorgonzola sauce. Thanks. Never, never again.

Wow, stumbled upon this place while in Germany for Christmas! So authentic, such friendly staff, and the BEST PIZZA I have ever had!!! The limoncello was also incredible. It was a wonderful experience and meal.

Waiting 55’ for 3 pizzas to go when the waiter told me they should be ready in 15… 7 months after after the takeover the new team is still ineffective and the pizza’s quality dropped dramatically.

The restaurant is gorgeous and cozy. The food is authentically Napoli and absolutely delicious. The staff/owners offer wonderful hospitality and customer service (a rarity these days). So, personally I think this place is an absolute gem.

Di passaggio per visitare e trascorrere la notte a Oberammergau(che consigliamo di visitare) ci siamo fermati a cena in questo ristorante gestito da una coppia di ragazzi italiani che ci hanno accolto con molto calore. Abbiamo gustato due ottime pizze che ci hanno fatto sentire in Italia e pasta e patate tipico piatto napoletano come lo è il proprietario chef. Lo consigliamo vivamente! Very nice service! Pizza very tasty and big!! No long waiting times. Pizza comes to the table hot!!!😀😀 The ambience is still a bit sparse, but the owner has already recognized this problem (taken over from the previous owner) and is making everything nicer step by step!!!

I went to eat at this place and to tell the truth I really liked it, regarding the good food, the pleasant service and the welcoming environment.

Cordiality, availability, friendliness and hospitality according to the right Italian tradition. Pleasant pizza, prices in line with tourist and/or northern Italian menus.

We were in the mood for Italian food and stumbled upon this place, and we're glad we did! We got some bruschetta to start our meal and it was expertly made. Everything tasted great and it was out together well. For our entree, we got the lasagna and the "pizza metro". Both were delicious and left us satisfied. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was great. Our server was helpful with wine recommendations and was nice to talk to. If you're looking for Italian and you're in Oberammergau, come here!!

It is a very nice and cozy restaurant full of positive vibes.We had a civollo pizza here and loved it. The pizza was just perfect-crispy with all flavours balanced. The pizza size is little larger than other Italian restaurants and we ended up sharing one pizza.The staff is super friendly and gives attention to detail. Our server had proactively closed the door when he saw that my wife had not removed her jacket and understood she was cold. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
