Dîner en terrasse... accueil sympathique et la serveuse est une vraie italienne. Service efficace et discret, mais surtout, pâtes délicieuses et c'est bien là le principal! Savoureuses et plat copieux, une très bonne adresse.

Very nice and courteous service, fair prices and perfect pizzas. We were particularly impressed with the floor. 100% delicious and unreservedly recommended. There is certainly still some work to be done on the ambience, but overall we felt very comfortable and, above all, very welcome. The pizzeria on the upper floor was comfortably warm, the tables were warmly set and comfortably lit with candles. Furnishings are rustic and over time everything will certainly become more and more harmonious.

I can't recommend it at all. We ordered three pizzas and received the wrong toppings. I also didn't really like the pizza. I definitely wouldn't do it again

Cucina Della Mama, That's how gastronomy works. People work here who love their job. You can feel that when you greet us. The food was delicious and our visit was like a little vacation. Good down-to-earth Italian with delicious pizzas.

Overwhelmed staff, unusually tasteless decoration and furnishings and bad pizza. The dough was delicious, but you couldn't taste it anymore under the topping... Cooking time was far too short!!! Unfortunately, the dishes and glasses were not clean. The manager of the store nevertheless tried to be hospitable.

We did take out and dine in. The food is great the price is very affordable and the value for what you get with your money is excellent. I highly recommend this place. Wish we had eaten here the first night we were in town for our ski trip. If we are back in the area we will absolutely visit again.

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at this restaurant. We had to wait to get seated, then we had to wait long again to get the menu’s. The waiter brought out the drinks and he touched all the glasses on the upper part so we could lick down the finger prints from the glass, so unprofessional! On the empty glass we could see it’s totally dirty, just like the folks, plates and everything… The waiter didn’t come back. We had to wait more than 2 hours for 5 pizza’s (wasn’t full house). They didn’t bring it together, so we couldn’t enjoy the food at the same time. We ordered a vegetarian which also came out with meat. The whole restaurant smelled like they burning something non stop in the kitchen, you could see the smoke on the underneath the ceiling. Sorry to write these but that’s the truth.

We went here when we attended the passion play. There was great pizza we ordered. The pasta with cream and mushrooms was very good. You can ask for tap water do you don’t have to buy it. We ordered a salad but it had tuna on it so I did not eat it. Walk around and see what looks good and then order it!

Really original and very tasty food. Rarely have I heard such delicious food. The service was really nice, but due to the delivery service there were some mistakes so that our food reached our table at different times. If you can handle it, it's a worthwhile restaurant. The best place for original Italian food, simply top.

Ordered a pizza and veal medallions. Pizza tasted good (I originally ordered a Pizza Funghi for 10.80 euros). By adding other types of mushrooms (the boss's recommendation), I then paid 21 euros for the pizza at the checkout. In my opinion, it could have been mentioned beforehand that the price of the pizza would then double. Veal medallions in Gorgonzola sauce were also ordered with fried vegetables and potatoes. The pieces of meat were like fillets, not like medallions and some of the vegetables were cold. The potatoes weren't cooked through. Before, the dish came wrong (first came breaded veal medallions, from which the breading was quickly removed and then tossed in Gorgonzola sauce. Thanks. Never, never again.

Wow, stumbled upon this place while in Germany for Christmas! So authentic, such friendly staff, and the BEST PIZZA I have ever had!!! The limoncello was also incredible. It was a wonderful experience and meal.

Waiting 55’ for 3 pizzas to go when the waiter told me they should be ready in 15… 7 months after after the takeover the new team is still ineffective and the pizza’s quality dropped dramatically.

The restaurant is gorgeous and cozy. The food is authentically Napoli and absolutely delicious. The staff/owners offer wonderful hospitality and customer service (a rarity these days). So, personally I think this place is an absolute gem.

Di passaggio per visitare e trascorrere la notte a Oberammergau(che consigliamo di visitare) ci siamo fermati a cena in questo ristorante gestito da una coppia di ragazzi italiani che ci hanno accolto con molto calore. Abbiamo gustato due ottime pizze che ci hanno fatto sentire in Italia e pasta e patate tipico piatto napoletano come lo è il proprietario chef. Lo consigliamo vivamente! Very nice service! Pizza very tasty and big!! No long waiting times. Pizza comes to the table hot!!!😀😀 The ambience is still a bit sparse, but the owner has already recognized this problem (taken over from the previous owner) and is making everything nicer step by step!!!

We were in the mood for Italian food and stumbled upon this place, and we're glad we did! We got some bruschetta to start our meal and it was expertly made. Everything tasted great and it was out together well. For our entree, we got the lasagna and the "pizza metro". Both were delicious and left us satisfied. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was great. Our server was helpful with wine recommendations and was nice to talk to. If you're looking for Italian and you're in Oberammergau, come here!!

It is a very nice and cozy restaurant full of positive vibes.We had a civollo pizza here and loved it. The pizza was just perfect-crispy with all flavours balanced. The pizza size is little larger than other Italian restaurants and we ended up sharing one pizza.The staff is super friendly and gives attention to detail. Our server had proactively closed the door when he saw that my wife had not removed her jacket and understood she was cold. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We don't understand the many negative movements as there was nothing to complain about in terms of the quality of the food. We will definitely go to this restaurant again on our next visit to Oberammergau.

Order by phone, employee only spoke English, I call you back in 5 minutes, but employee didn't call back, contacted again 4 pizzas and 1x pizza bread, employee brought the pizzas after about an hour, didn't ring the bell, just came across the garden and Knocked on the terrace door, all the pizzas were cold despite the warming container, one of them was completely burnt, I was so happy about my pizza and then something like that

The pizzas were rather dry with no taste and the ingredients on the pizza didn't taste the best.

I've never eaten so badly. You have to manage it first, cooking so badly. We let almost everything go back. The atmosphere was also very uncomfortable and cold, so you had to sit in your jacket. The fish in the aquarium were very dismal. However, the waiter was really very nice. And the toilets very clean.

The poorest service in O’gau and marginal tasting pizza. 2 pizzas and a pasta dish took 2 hours and it wasn’t busy. Several others had food before us (arrived after). When we asked they said pizza takes longer than pasta, even tho half the people arriving after us had pizza!! And we had the thin crust, 2 topping pizzas that take 10 minutes anywhere else. We mentioned the service and our experience was the poorest we’ve experienced in the area the server said “the same for him.” The server never checked back with us after the initial food and drink order.

Ordered 3 pizzas and lasangne ​​with delivery service. 40min. Arrived warm later. 2 pizzas were ok so far. only the taste was missing. The seafood pizza was more of a Magerita. The lasagne was cheese-heavy with no taste, the pasta sheets were just pieces of pasta. We were spoiled by the predecessor, but unfortunately the successor will no longer earn anything from us.

Update at the end of September 2024 Unfortunately, the pizzeria has become very unreliable since the owner changed and the last few times the pizzas were delivered were almost cold and the taste and smell of the food was no longer that good. Half an hour can easily turn into over an hour and a half, after 45 minutes you get a call and pizza is almost here. Ultimately it took over 90 minutes. If additional requests were made, a different pizza was charged, even though the additional requests would be cheaper overall for the pizza originally ordered. It's a shame, the pizza was always the best in Ogau for us. Hopefully things will get better, but unfortunately that's it for us.

We first ordered something to drink, then we got dirty ones, and I mean really!!! dirty glasses! When I asked the waiter, obviously it was the boss, for a new glass, he looked at my glass and said: it wasn't that dirty. The second glass was even dirtier...😳😱 When we waited 45 minutes for our pizza and it finally came, it was completely the wrong pizza and the bottom of the plate was smeared with Gorgonzola and some other crap...🤢🤮 We then got up and left without a word. Conclusion: Never again!!!

New owners, I appreciated their courtesy. The menu has been extended, increased proposals and quality. There are gluten free options, like pasta, rice, meat.

Located in the first floor with stairs as only option. The menu is quite expansive , with English description. The service lady spoke English and that is good. Atmosphere is pretty positive with classic decoration and Italian music etc. Seating too is reasonably done for small and big gatherings. Good number of options for vegetarians. We ordered green salad , a vegetarian pizza and tomato soup. All of them were very bad. After hearing them speak Italian i was even more disappointed with food because I have never ever had bad food in Italy or italian restaurants. Pizza dough was too hard , it was almost like sourdough. Very crunchy and even hurt my mouth a bit. Green salad was nothing but chopped lettuce. Tomato soup came straight out of a can , heated in a microwave and put 2 basil leaf on top. The service was good , atmosphere good but food bad.

I ate a delicious pizza, staff helpful, friendly and very polite. Very welcoming location. The owner offered a delicious prosecco and even satisfied the desire for a second off-menu pizza. Truly highly recommended.

Current rating September 2024: It's a shame, since the change of ownership the food has unfortunately gone bad. Unfortunately it's just the name.... the rest is.............The Carpaccio di manzo used to be a poem. Visually and also great meat with taste. Today a carelessly wasted plate full of cheap iceberg lettuce with a few slices of tasteless carpaccio di manzo and a little crumbled parmesan. The bread that used to be served as a matter of course was only available upon request. The highlight, however, was the grilled baby calamari! 5 completely burnt mini calamari, the last thing in taste because it was burnt, also carelessly slapped onto the plate with burnt zucchini vegetables and the already mentioned cheap iceberg lettuce. The pizza Frutti di Marei used to be a highlight with large pieces of pulp, squid rings, prawns and mussels. Today a lot of dough, little cheese and very, very little Frutti di Mare. Almost only cheap mini shells....... For 75 euros with 0.5 liters of Pino Grigio and a water, an outrage. The old owner's phone for the pizza taxi was always ringing! Today we didn't even hear it. Well, we should have looked at the reviews earlier, they already indicated it. Unfortunately I can only give one star here because no star is not possible. One of the best Italians in Ogau. Salad Frutti di Mare, a Pino and you are in Italy...... Delicious.... Try it...

We sat at the table at 6:50 p.m. and placed our order straight away. We got our food at 8:30 p.m. Lasagna was cold, the edge of the pizza was hard. Something else is delicious. When you asked the staff what was going wrong, you received no answer. All the people complained, but there was no response. We also noticed that there seemed to be problems among the staff. We weren't even asked if everything was okay or something like that. So this was the worst Italian restaurant we've ever been to, if you think about it, a stone oven pizza takes 3 minutes. So something's going wrong there somehow. But 3 minutes walk from this Italian restaurant is another large Italian restaurant which is much better and friendlier.

Takeaway pizza: Pizza was rather average, nothing special (3 stars). However, the quality offered does not do justice to the very high price (- 1 star) Note: When taking away, you pay the restaurant prices and not those of the in-house delivery service.

Friendly staff and very tasty pizza with super tasty dough. We were always served in a friendly manner and the food came to the table quickly. Drinks also well prepared. Thanks to the team for the hospitality, we'll be happy to come back :)

Owner has failed to update menu and prices within six months. As a customer, the driver will inform you upon delivery that the prices have changed and that some pizzas are no longer on the menu. Instead, another pizza is simply delivered. Unfortunately, this is an unsustainable business practice, even though the driver is very nice and the pizza is tasty.

Ordered 2 pizzas to pick up. Over an hour wait and nothing was ready when I arrived. I even forgot myself a second time and finally got my pizzas after 1 1/2 hours!! Be careful with the change! I wasn't given enough out twice in a row. Not a piece to recommend in terms of taste either. It's a shame that bad reviews are regularly deleted here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Montanara, an authentic Italian pizzeria located in Oberammergau, Bavaria. I have to say that my experience was absolutely amazing! The quality of the ingredients used is exceptional. Fresh tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and Italian herbs blend perfectly, offering a dish that really makes a difference. Every taste is a journey into the flavors of Italy! Furthermore, I want to highlight the professionalism of the staff. They were very kind, helpful and attentive to our every request. You can feel the passion they put into their work, making the atmosphere even more welcoming. Finally, the venue was impeccable. Cleanliness was one of the aspects I appreciated most. In a restaurant, hygiene is fundamental and here you can see that they care a lot about it. In conclusion, I highly recommend La Montanara to anyone looking for an authentic Italian food experience in Germany. I can't wait to go back!

Very long waiting times boss was unfriendly pizza sola. sitting outside old garden furniture and also broken. Narrow aisle tables dirty. Not recommended. If you go there, bring plenty of time after almost 2 hours for the pizza.

One star is still too much for the service. We just waited almost 2 hours for the food and we weren't the only ones who waited that long. The only excuse we heard was that the boss wasn't there. We even sat in front of our empty glasses for a long time. If our dogs hadn't been so exhausted we would have gone to another restaurant. The food was ok but unfortunately the edge of the pizza was partly very burnt. We can therefore no longer recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food takes much, much too long to be served with a waiting time of 2.0 hours. The pizza tastes really good, but unfortunately pizza is constantly being delivered here and the guests in the restaurant wait and wait. We went out to eat last week, the pasta with the sauce looked terrible, slammed onto the plate really carelessly, without parmesan and without anything green on it. One star is still too many for the pizzaria. There was a white paint bucket with a brush at the back left of the counter. The aquarium was so dirty, I felt really sorry for the one fish that survived from the previous one, the many fish that were in there before are no longer there, unfortunately. The service spoke almost no German, only English or Italian is not possible. Behind the counter was a man wearing a skull cap with sunglasses on and a baggy sleeveless gray top. He seemed very unkempt, looked like he had just come from sports, disgusting. The waitress, a man, was overwhelmed, even though there was almost nothing going on. He was wearing training pants, black with red stripes on the sides, that's not possible. The white sneakers were really worn out and dirty, disgusting. I enjoyed eating there with the previous owner, but once and NEVER again.

I have eaten many times over the years at the Montana. It is in a quiet setting in the village centre, with a ground level patio and the main restaurant upstairs. Quaint and charming. The owner and head waiter are from Naples, and the taste and quality of their food shows. Very reasonable prices, good portions, good selection, including delicious pizzas, great Italian wine. A warm and welcoming place. Strongly recommended.

Absolutely recommended. Price performance is right. Large portions. The Gamberti pizza is definitely highly recommended.

We had reserved a table the day before but it was not available for dinner when we arrived. We were placed elsewhere. We received the menu quickly, but after that the service decreased drastically. 30min for drinks, 1h for the starter and 1h45 for the main course. Our neighboring table even waited 1h30 just for salads. The employees were nice, but completely overwhelmed and not aware of the limits of their possibilities. If basic service cannot be provided due to a lack of staff, then you should not seat more guests, make them wait and then reward them with disappointing food. The bruschetta was partially burnt, the spaghetti aglio e olio was only tossed in butter and there were three cloves of garlic. When it came to the pasta with the shrimp, they first had to be peeled. All in all a very disappointing evening.

We ordered 3 pizzas yesterday. We were also told it would take 45 minutes. The pizzas arrived after 1 hour 30 minutes. The pizza base fell apart on the 3 pizzas and they were cold too. It was really a lesson for me to order there, I'll never do that again. I can no longer recommend the pizza there. Quaint Italian restaurant on the 1st floor of the house. Very nice, active waiter. The pizzas 🍕 from the stone oven (12.50 euros each) were very tasty. At the end, our grandchildren each received 3 lollipops as a gift. Everyone was happy and full. Can be highly recommended. A 3-minute walk from our hotel to the old post office.

We dined here at the beginning of August. Pizza and pasta were very tasty and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. However, everything took a long time because the waiter was alone.

I give it one star because it doesn't leave me any less, we arrived at 6:30 p.m. with a child and a baby and they didn't serve us anything to eat until 8:00 p.m. To make matters worse, they serve us burnt and cold food! The worst dinner of my life. The only thing they can think of to compensate is to offer half a shot of limoncello, how sad. I do not recommend going with children, zero empathy and very expensive 70 euros for a piece of burnt pizza.

Hello, just ordered 2 pizzas and picked them up. So the worst pizzas we've ever had. Totally burned and as thin as a postage stamp. Disgrace!!!!! Old flyers are everywhere and new prices are being charged for these burnt things. Noooo again.

This is the first time that I say this, but I cannot recommend this restaurant. It is located in a first floor with stairs as only option, therefore not accessible for some people or families with babies. After that, we arrived at 1830 and food was served at 2030. People was entering the restaurant but food was not served in the same way, so some people left the restaurant. Too much. After 2 hours of waiting, pizzas were served burned and imposible to eat the borders as per picture. At the end of the dinner, Limoncello shots were offered, but impossible to compensate. Very expensive and fatal service. My apologies, but I will not return.
