Dumpling & Sushi in Oberammergau

We took 2 soups. One with shrimp, the other with coconut. Coconut is amazing. Plus mixed dumplings. Great. Ladies, very nice. Payment only in cash, but there is an ATM in two shops next door.

Very cute little restaurant, very nice service. Every dish was delicious and the prices were completely reasonable. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort essen.

Very tasty and inexpensive dishes, sushi and much more. Highly recommended, top quality, friendly service, what more could you want. OK, outdoors right on the street is a bit of a downer. But at least not a busy street.

We sat there completely randomly but turned out to be a great decision. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was spot on and incredibly fast. One of the best dumplings I’ve had.

Great sushi, one of the best I have tried in Germany, very generous on fish. The homemade drink was delicious! One problem is wasps. Impossible to eat at this place during the day, because it’s filled with them. We had to leave and take food with us (but food was, again, amazing).

Came 20 minutes before closing, and we were served quickly and politely. We ordered delicious dumplings, pho bo soup, and a bowl. Everything was great, especially the dumplings – the best we've ever had! We ended up leaving only at 10:30 PM. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed. The day before the restaurant was closed, although it said on the door that it was open. New attempt the next day: eat to go. Only one person in the store could speak a little German. The rest always said yes... without any further reaction. We were promised a pick-up time of 7:45 p.m.... 8:05 p.m. was the time... The soup was really nothing special and far too expensive for the price. One dish, number 22, could in no way be described as a soup. The sushi m 27 had neither soy sauce nor ginger or anything like that. The food looked better in the restaurant itself, maybe it's just not for to go No card payment possible!

Eating the wrong food Rice was overcooked and tasted like dish soap. The service spoke very little German and English. Communication was therefore not possible... Sushi was very lightly filled and dry. Ginger was totally dried out.

Small Asian restaurant in downtown Oberammergau. The service was super friendly and accommodating, the food is of course a matter of taste, so I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. If we are there again, we would come again.

Appreciate the fast and tasty takeaway! I was visiting on a day tour and my bus was leaving soon. They delivered the food within 10 minutes as promised and I am so impressed that it looked so neat and tasted great nevertheless. Thank you!

We had the dumplings and the red curry with coconut milk and tofu. Both meals we ordered came fully vegetarian and tasted amazing. The curry wasn't very spicy at all which underwhelmed me, but besides that the food was fantastic. The coffee was awesome and the passion drink was really tasty too. To note I also asked for no mushrooms in my food and they obliged which is great for anyone with dietary restrictions. I really recommend this place, the presentation was fantastic and the food was a high point. Definitely visit here if you are in oberammergau and have the opportunity, I will be returning.

The service is super friendly and fast. There are comfortable seats in the shade and the food is simply cheap and delicious 😋

The woman with the beautiful painted nails speaks german and english, she is very nice and helped us choose our menu. the menu i feel is a little too big. i feel like they put too much vegetables in the curry. the fruit pomelo water i got was filled to the brim so i spilled some on my pants they only take cash so my Dad had to pay.

Amazing sushi and really lovely service. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Cash only but ATM over the road so no problem. My son described as 11/10 :-)

The food is simply delicious. Very lovingly prepared and tasty. Even if we have to get in the car every time, the trip is worth it. The only thing that needs to be changed a bit is the atmosphere, it's a bit sober.

5/5 stars. Really, really, really tasty. I ordered a Tunasalad Chili Maki (6 x tuna sushi A18) and a Sup Chua Ngot (sweet and sour soup with chicken S6) and I found both really delicious. The soup really lived up to the spiciness it promised and the chicken in it was also very tasty. Sushi was served beautifully and tasted very tasty. All in all I would definitely recommend it!!

We were very tired of the German food and tried this Vietnamese place. We were very surprised by the quality of the Pho! Simply excellent and very rich. The couple who runs this place is from Vietnam and you can feel it from the very high quality of the food you get. The dumplings are very nice and you can always add spicy sauce if you need more flavour. The sushi are excellent and the noodles in the wok are really good. You should hear that tossing from the kitchen ! The portions are big and you don’t feel hungry. This place is for those who appreciate a quality meal, not a cheap snack you can find elsewhere. Recommend !!

Extremely delicious! The shrimp dumplings are my new favorite food! Unfortunately we were only there for a week on holiday but we went to get dumplings every lunchtime! Biggest recommendation!!!

When in O'gau and you need a break from the German cuisine...don't go here or Ming's wok. Depending on your reference you might be disappointed. The food is so-so, not terrible but far from good. The Sushi, we ordered 4 different rolls, tasted all the same...very blend. I'm an Asian food lover, but this isn't it...sorry.

The food tastes very, very tasty. The vegetarian dumplings and the tamarind sauce are really good. Only the service is very slow and can definitely be improved.

Prawn soup quite good, prawn ravioli slimy and tasteless, vegetarian Ramen good but the food left us very thirsty for many hours. They put a lot of coriander everywhere, watch out who doesn't like it. They ask you to order while you are still reading the menu. Excessive price in relation to the place and the food.

Food was super tasty and very nicely prepared. The dumplings and sushi are really recommended. Our place right at the entrance door in front of the "reception" wasn't so comfortable because the customers were standing directly behind me to pick up their food. Otherwise an absolute recommendation.

Good Asian food and very good sushi.

It looks like almost any Asian fast food joint, but the dishes are only marginally Europeanized and the Vietnamese and Korean dishes and soups in particular are highly recommended!

Cozy space with amazing food. Still dreaming about the chicken Pho. Sushi was really good too. Service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

The restaurant is cozy and the menu offers many options. In my opinion, the sushi was good, the soups are not recommended. The atmosphere was perfect and the presentation of the sushi was really great and lovingly prepared. The dough for the dumplings was a little too soft. The staff was really nice.

One of the surprising place to eat in Oberammergau. Excellent food, great choices, the staff is very very friendly. Try the Pho, spicy and aromatic and the spring rolls are amazing with the spicy peanut sauce.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Wir sind öfter dort und haben schon einiges probiert und sind dabei noch nie enttäuscht worden. Alle Gerichte sind sehr sehr lecker, die Dumplings könnte ich jeden Tag essen! Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und mehr wie bemüht. Sowohl die Getränke als auch das Essen standen ohne lange Wartezeit bei uns gleich auf dem Tisch. Nicht mehr ganz Zeitgemäß ist die Zahlung nur mit Bargeld. Zum Mitnehmen wird das Essen sehr liebevoll mit Stäbchen, Wasabi und Ingwer samt Sojasoße eingepackt. Kommen immer sehr gerne vorbei!

Absolutely delicious food. Lots of vegetarian options, very affordable prices, and the presentation of the food is gorgeous. The dumplings were awesome and very filling. Just a small place but it really exceeded our expectations. Staff was helpful and friendly especially to English speaking tourists.

2023/8/11去吃過，以台灣人的口味來說，壽司不好吃，但其它的河粉或伽理都非常好吃，值得一嘗，價格也很合理。結賬時給一點小費，服務生顯得很高興。小鎮的過山車也很值得去玩。

Lecker, sehr lecker. Service super, wenn die Frauen da sind. Waren 3x an 3 Tagen dort.

Lekker sushi gegeten. Als je het niet op krijgt, wordt het netjes voor je ingepakt en krijg je het mee.

Super nette Bedienung, man musste zwar aufgrund der vielen Gäste etwas länger auf seine Bestellung warten, da die Dame fast allein den vielen Anfragen nachgekommen ist. Aber das hat sich gelohnt. Die Pinacolada war sehr lecker und das Saigon Bier ist absolut empfehlenswert. Am meisten hat uns aber das Sushi beeindruckt. Hier kommt man gern wieder.

Sehr erfreuliches vietnamesisches Lokal im Zentrum von Oberammergau. Gute Bereicherung des örtlichen Angebots. Mir haben die Dumplings gut geschmeckt.

Das Sushi war sehr gut. Die zwei Sushi-Platten war auch sehr nett angerichtet und sehr kreativ. Das Sushi war sehr lecker, man hat germekt das der Koch sich sehr viel mühe mit der Zubereitung gegeben hat. Essen kam auch zumlich schnell am Tisch an dafür das wir fast die größten Platten bestellt haben. Komme gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen und überaus freundliche Bedienungen. Wir haben am Nachbartisch einen Zwischenfall mit einer asozial Französin mitbekommen, die (natürlich kein Englisch gesprochen hat und) sich geweigert hat, ihr Essen zu zahlen (Zitat: "no flambet, no monet"). Nach ein bisschen Diskussion haben die beiden sehr lieben, gutmütigen Servicekräfte die Französin gehen lassen.. Tat uns total Leid und hat uns aber dafür nochmal gezeigt, wie hart es ist, in der Gastro zu arbeiten und mit was für unfreundlichen Gästen man sich rumschlagen muss.. Nettes Restaurant und liebe Leute :)

Der Service war nett und hat uns schnell empfangen. Jedoch das Essen schmeckte vielen von uns nicht. Als Anrichtung waren einfach auf jedem Teller geriebene Karotten und der Geschmack ließ zu wünschen übrig. Abschließend ist zu erwähnen, dass man dieses Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen muss aber, wenn man nur zum Sushi essen kommt , kann man diesen Laden trotzdem ausprobieren.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wärmstens zu empfehlen! Die Speisekarte ist sehr groß und reicht von Vorspeisen (vietnamesische Salate, Suppen, Edamame u.ä.) über Bowls und große Suppenteller mit Reisnudeln o.ä. bis zu „klassischen“ Curries mit Soßen sowie den namensgebenden Dumplings und natürlich leckerem Sushi. Wir hatten drei verschiedene Gerichten (Curry, Bowl und zwei Sushis) und waren von allen dreien begeistert! Besonders positiv zu erwähnen finde ich die große Auswahl an vegetarischem Sushi (mit Avocado, Gurke, Kürbis oder auch „kombiniert“, z.B. mit Paprika, Kürbis, Rucola und Frischkäse), das wirklich sehr gut schmeckt. Noch dazu wird alles höchst ansprechend auf schönen Tellern und mit kunstvoller Dekoration serviert und die Bedienung ist (bzw. war in unserem Fall) sehr freundlich, bemüht und angenehm - auch das nicht selbstverständlich. Mehr kann man sich von einem Restaurant eigentlich nicht wünschen! Und noch ein Pluspunkt: Das Restaurant hat 7 Tage die Woche inkl. Sonn- und Feiertagen geöffnet, man weiß also, dass man hier immer herkommen kann. Wir werden das auf jeden Fall wieder tun!

Frisches Sushi und super Dumplings. Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Einrichtung und Ambiente ist dagegen eher schlicht gehalten.

Does not accept credit cards. It's 2023, and most people visiting are foreigners. Good thing we had cash. Soup was cold and the service was minimal. Overpriced considering it's cash only. 2 people at €60... Get a credit card machine please. Food taste was okay but not great.
