Great place with Pakistani food by Pakistani people who serve with an open heart. It is always a good sign when you have people from the Pakistani community being there and enjoying the food.
We went to Bricco with our company, and overall it was a really cool evening. The atmosphere and clientele were really pleasant and modern. The organization and wait time, despite having made a reservation, were a bit chaotic, but you could tell the owner was making an effort and trying to make the best of the situation. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him sincerely. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that impressive; we had to wait about 50 minutes for it, and I didn't really like my truffle pasta. However, my companions were all happy with their other dishes. Nevertheless, for the atmosphere and the owner's commitment, I'll give it four stars, lovingly intended, to keep things exciting and keep things in perspective 😄.
Unfortunately, the restaurant's opening hours online were incorrect, and I arrived at 5:00 PM, even though the restaurant doesn't open until 5:30 PM. I was assured this wouldn't be a problem, but they said the restaurant was fully booked and there were no tables available. I asked if it would be possible to just grab a quick bite, and then leave immediately. I was given a table and the menu, but then no one paid any attention to me, as everyone was busy on their phones.
The meal was a complete disaster because the pasta was cold. I informed a staff member, who then took my plate to the kitchen, and I could see him cooking the pasta in a pan. He then brought my plate back with the veal fillet, and I just thought, "What's going on?" The veal fillet will get cold by the time I get the pasta. And that's exactly what happened. The pasta was then placed on the table in a bowl without any explanation. I asked several times how they expected this to work and whether I should eat the meat without pasta or wait until the pasta arrived and the meat was cold.
The staff were completely overwhelmed by the situation, and I was ultimately just furious about this treatment in what is supposed to be a highly praised restaurant.
The food was fine, but we found the service rude and unfriendly. We were told to finish our meal because a group was arriving in 10 minutes. We hadn't been told this when we entered and requested a table for two. I wouldn't go back there anytime soon!
It's very friendly. The service is friendly, everything is top-notch. The tarte flambée is okay...of course, it's vegan. But a quiet voice whispers to me that it could be better. The dough and toppings are also good. It's a bit pricey, too...unfortunately, the pilsner was sold out; had it been available, my review would certainly have been more positive.
The food was very bland and cold; I wouldn't even give it a single star. The owner was also very arrogant when asked about food.
You generally feel very uncomfortable here.
The owner and staff are super friendly, and you'll receive a warm welcome. There's also a parking space nearby, as Hilal is located in the Edeka parking lot. The food is excellent, juicy, well-seasoned, simply delicious, and the portions are generous. We once went there out of necessity on a Saturday because nothing else was open. We were all pleasantly surprised, and since then, Hilal has been a good option whenever we want something delicious. 🤗
We were here with four adults and two teenagers for a gourmet rodizio. It costs €65 per person. Yes, that's a lot of money, and you could probably add it up and say it wouldn't be worth it for teenagers. Of course, you can still fill yourself up with a €15 doner kebab from the snack bar.
What it doesn't offer, however, is an experience. The service is great, very friendly and in a fun mood, which the kids also enjoyed. Yes, a smoked pork kebab is salty, as other reviews have criticized. But it also has an excellent crust, simply delicious. The sauces aren't Maggi either, that should be clear. So, if you're used to it and want it that way, you might be disappointed. For us, it was just right the way it was served.
What was more of a 'problem' was... saying 'no'. You're offered so much, it's impossible to try everything.
The appetizer buffet is completely cold, but well-made. Desserts are very solid and good. The ice cream was also a bit off-standard.
We had the gourmet rodizio and were served rump steak and beef fillet separately (not on a skewer). I've had better ones elsewhere, but then I also paid more than I did for the full buffet selection here.
For the soft drinks included in the above price, we would have paid around €100 elsewhere, but here it was €30 more. This puts the menu price into perspective.
So, my absolute tip: try it if you like different meat varieties. Wear comfortable pants and bring some time. You can roll out the door stuffed in half an hour. But it's better to set the time to "red" every now and then and take a break. Definitely get the grilled pineapple.
When I wouldn't recommend Brasil Live: for dates or romantic couples' evenings. It's not loud or uncomfortable, and the decor is okay. That's more to do with the amount you'll inevitably eat... afterward, you'll just want to curl up on the couch ;-)
We'll definitely be back!
I ordered a matcha latte. By mistake the waiter charged 2 matchas (10€). To fix it, the waiter told me to pay 1 matcha again and they will release the first wrong payment and it will get back to me. Long story short, I payed 15€ for a matcha latte, that was not even good. I contacted them a week later, but again, nothing happened.
