Dessi Tadka always serves really amazing food, the staff is also very friendly and kind. The owner always brings a very fun vibe with him. I really enjoy going to Dessi Tadka, it’s my go to place after going to the Indian temple nearby.

The owners are super friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating – even if you're short on time. Thanks to the location right next to the S-Bahn, it's also perfectly accessible. This has been my go to Indian for over a year now. The ingredients are super fresh and everything is tasty, plus the service is just amazing. They're all so kind and even when I'm just ordering to go, they always offer a tea or a drink for the wait.

I've been there many times for dinner or lunch and have always had good service and amazing, unique food. And even with "too good to go" I get delicious and fresh food to take home. I always enjoy coming back.

I ordered food for pickup and was offered a small drink while I waited, along the lines of "Have this first and sit down," and then I'd add it to the bill. Sorry, that's completely unacceptable. It doesn't matter to me how good the food tastes.

I celebrated my birthday today at Dessi Tadka. It was outstanding in every way and the best decision I could have made for my celebration. There was nothing we didn't like, and that was with 10 people. We requested various appetizers and ordered main courses. And everything was fantastic. But I didn't expect anything less. It's my favorite restaurant, and I know how delicious everything is there. Nevertheless, I was very pleased that all my birthday guests enjoyed their meal so much. But the best food wouldn't be enough for a wonderful evening without the service. And there, too, everything was perfect. The host fulfilled our every wish, and you can see how much joy he takes in providing his guests with a wonderful evening. Thanks again for the wonderful evening!

The food is incredibly delicious. We've been there before and will definitely go back. I highly recommend the Jija Sali Samosa Chat as a starter. If you like it spicy, follow it with the Charsi Tiger Chicken.

The service was exceptionally attentive – perfect. Dishes prepared and presented in a unique way. (Chaat) Special flavors. The lamb (Bhindi Goshd) was mild and tender. A truly wonderful experience.

This is a wonderful Indian restaurant, you will be made to feel welcome by the owners and staff, and so many of the dishes are so good! I love the papdi chaat, gobi manchurian, and bhindi masala to name a few. A hidden gem, worth going out of your way for. They also do a wonderful job with catering.

Authentic Indian cuisine, as well as a very nice outdoor area. The masala chai and palak paneer were delicious.

One of the best Indian restaurant in Munich. Taste of the food is just awesome. Manager Mr Khan is such a gentle man. Luckily i got the place without any reservation because of holiday time and bed weather. Deshi Style Mutton curry is highly recommended. Also the chicken 65. All meats are halal. Must go please again and again.

As far as the food is concerned, it's super authentic and absolutely delicious. Price/performance ratio is also really fair. I've clearly paid more for worse food somewhere else. You don't even need to speak to the staff. They're just super nice. You immediately feel at home and welcomed somewhere. Definitely a must when you're in the corner! 😌

We eat Indian food very often. And the food here is really very good. We had soup, main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious and fresh. The garlic naan bread was fresh and delicious. The mango cream was one of the best I've ever eaten. The service was very friendly. When we were there, it was very busy. We came here spontaneously and managed to get a table. If you want to be on the safe side, it's best to make a reservation.

One of the tastiest Indian restaurants in Munich. This was our second visit. The first time, we had two delicious dishes that were excellent. This time, however, we shared several street food dishes. And that's what makes this Indian restaurant special and, in my opinion, sets it apart from the rest! The service is also incredibly attentive and friendly. The prices are all reasonable for the quality! We will definitely be back again.

One of the best „Vada Pav“ in Munich. The quality and taste was so authentic that my European guests who often criticise spicy foods, had multiple rounds of Vadapav and even took chutney with them while leaving event (that was rare in my experience). Yogesh made sure I get the delivery on time despite logistics challenges on the given day. I really recommend desi Tadka for authentic Indian food and good service for your party.

Simply delicious, had a saag paneer and some garlic naan and some beers, delightful bliss!

The place was packed with Indians, but I still found the food mediocre. We had paneer (cream cheese) in spinach and chicken in chili sauce, based on a creative recipe from the chef. The spinach was creamed spinach from the freezer, which is probably where the chicken, in the form of breaded, pre-made chicken nuggets, also came from, and it also had a slight aftertaste. Unfortunately, it wasn't a feast of aromas and flavors like I expect from good Indian cuisine, especially street food. But, to leave the kitchen in the village for a moment, we ate everything. It's a restaurant chain with four locations in Bavaria. The name translates roughly as "The Real Taste" or "The Taste of India" (desi or dessi = South Asia, tadka = tempering).

We went there to try the Kolhapuri chicken thaali and we were impressed by the food and the service. The tamba and pandhra rassa, paired with ghadi chi poli and amazing chicken curry reminded us of the food we would eat in and around Kolhapur. A must try. We will visit again to try different dishes.
