It will be the first time I am giving a second rating to a restaurant. This place is different, probaly the best one in whole Germany. We have been regularly visiting them for the last 2 years and we haven’t got a single performance drop. I also higly suggest the Paneer, forget other restaurants where you tried it, this is something else.

I recently had one of the best Indian meals in Munich at Desi Tadka and I’m still thinking about it! If you’re craving authentic Indian street food and rich, flavorful curries, this place is an absolute must-visit. From the moment the food arrived, you could tell it was made with care and tradition. The street food options were bursting with flavor - perfectly spiced, vibrant, and beautifully presented. Every bite reminded me of the lively food markets of India. The curries were equally impressive: creamy, aromatic, and perfectly balanced in spice. Whether you like it mild or fiery hot, they get it just right. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who were happy to guide us through the menu and recommend dishes. It felt both authentic and welcoming — the perfect spot for a cozy dinner or a fun evening with friends. If you’re in Munich and looking for outstanding Indian street food and curries, this is hands down one of the best places to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I came to this Indian restaurant in Munich to celebrate my birthday, as I’m a big fan of Indian food, and I chose Desse Tadka. The food was absolutely amazing — incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. We had the butter chicken and the lamb curry, and both were outstanding. The mango lassi and the mango yogurt dessert were simply divine. When we mentioned it was my birthday, the staff surprised me with a birthday song, which was completely unexpected and made my day even more special. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

We visited this place for our anniversary lunch, but unfortunately the food was quite disappointing. The taste did not feel authentic at all — the chicken seemed frozen rather than fresh, and most of the dishes were dominated by a tomato-purée–based gravy, which masked any real flavor. Given the high prices, the quality and taste were not justified. Overall, it was not the experience we were hoping for on a special occasion.

The Lieferando delivery experience was disappointing. The food quality and taste of the Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken were poor, and the flavors were far from authentic. I’m not sure what they serve in the restaurant to receive such high reviews, but the delivery food was definitely not up to the mark. I won’t be ordering again.

I tried so many indian restaurants in munchen but this one i say one of the best restaurant in munich. We tried masala dosa which is delicious and same taste like india. Staff is also very nice and supportive and they also suggest the food on your mood. I just say if you looking for original indian taste then you have to visit Desi Tadka in Neuaubing.

I stumbled upon this Indian street food restaurant by chance and I'm thrilled! Very cozy atmosphere and incredibly delicious food! This has been my go to Indian for over a year now. The ingredients are super fresh and everything is tasty, plus the service is just amazing. They're all so kind and even when I'm just ordering to go, they always offer a tea or a drink for the wait.

I've been there many times for dinner or lunch and have always had good service and amazing, unique food. And even with "too good to go" I get delicious and fresh food to take home. I always enjoy coming back.

I celebrated my birthday today at Dessi Tadka. It was outstanding in every way and the best decision I could have made for my celebration. There was nothing we didn't like, and that was with 10 people. We requested various appetizers and ordered main courses. And everything was fantastic. But I didn't expect anything less. It's my favorite restaurant, and I know how delicious everything is there. Nevertheless, I was very pleased that all my birthday guests enjoyed their meal so much. But the best food wouldn't be enough for a wonderful evening without the service. And there, too, everything was perfect. The host fulfilled our every wish, and you can see how much joy he takes in providing his guests with a wonderful evening. Thanks again for the wonderful evening!

This is a wonderful Indian restaurant, you will be made to feel welcome by the owners and staff, and so many of the dishes are so good! I love the papdi chaat, gobi manchurian, and bhindi masala to name a few. A hidden gem, worth going out of your way for. They also do a wonderful job with catering.

As far as the food is concerned, it's super authentic and absolutely delicious. Price/performance ratio is also really fair. I've clearly paid more for worse food somewhere else. You don't even need to speak to the staff. They're just super nice. You immediately feel at home and welcomed somewhere. Definitely a must when you're in the corner! 😌

We eat Indian food very often. And the food here is really very good. We had soup, main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious and fresh. The garlic naan bread was fresh and delicious. The mango cream was one of the best I've ever eaten. The service was very friendly. When we were there, it was very busy. We came here spontaneously and managed to get a table. If you want to be on the safe side, it's best to make a reservation.

One of the tastiest Indian restaurants in Munich. This was our second visit. The first time, we had two delicious dishes that were excellent. This time, however, we shared several street food dishes. And that's what makes this Indian restaurant special and, in my opinion, sets it apart from the rest! The service is also incredibly attentive and friendly.
