⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended! This is our second time at Kisaan and we are absolutely thrilled. For us, it's one of the best Indian restaurants in Munich and a real insider tip. The sauces are fantastic – wonderfully thick, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned with the spices. The rice is the best quality we've ever eaten, and we've eaten at many Indian restaurants. The service is very attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. Top-notch! You immediately notice that great attention to detail is paid to the food here – both in the kitchen and in the service. If you're looking for high-quality Indian cuisine, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

A total of 10 of us were there for dinner today. We chose the restaurant from the current Schlemmerblock (gourmet book). The service staff was very attentive and very friendly. The menu offers a very interesting selection for all tastes. I was pleased that there are also good options for vegetarians and vegans. Today I had wonderful vegetables in chickpea batter (Vegi Pakoras) and stuffed eggplant with vegetables, nuts, and raisins in a dreamy tomato and almond sauce (Punjabi Bangain). This was accompanied by a very tasty wheat bread with cheese, cashew nuts, raisins, and coconut (Peshawari Kulcha). The portions were very generous, and I was more than full. My friends were also very satisfied with their meals and full of praise. We are happy to have found this wonderful restaurant and will gladly return, even without the Schlemmerblock (gourmet book).

We spontaneously went for dinner together. A great restaurant with an excellent selection of authentic dishes. The service was very attentive and very polite. A clear 5-star rating.

We were here for lunch on Saturday. I had a lamb dish and a vegetable soup as a starter. I really enjoyed both the vegetable soup and the lamb, especially the lamb, which was tender as butter. Since it was a lunch menu, it didn't even cost 10 euros—what more could you ask for? The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly.

Only ones in restaurant on a Saturday night, which was odd. But the food and service did not disappoint. Great all around, nice atmosphere, amazing food, and awesome staff. Would definitely recommend if you’re worn out of typical german cuisine. Got a large meal for 2, €60 so definitely not horrible.

The food was delicious and plentiful, served quickly and in an appealing way.

The portion sizes are shockingly small for the prices charged. We ordered one butter chicken, and two plates of tikka masala, and the amount that arrived for each could easily fit in one hand — definitely not enough for a single adult. For a main dish, it felt more like a side or a sample. That being said, the food itself is undeniably delicious. The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and clearly well-prepared. It’s just unfortunate that such great taste is paired with such underwhelming portions. If the quantity matched the quality, this place would be an easy favorite.

Das Essen war vielseitig, hervorragend und gut gewürzt. Das vegetarische Angebot kam uns sehr entgegen. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Kinderfreundlich. Für uns war sehr schön, dass es nicht zu voll und eher ruhig war. Keine laute Musik, man konnte sich gut unterhalten. Aber Achtung für Gehbehinderte: Toilette im Keller, nur über Treppe zu erreichen.

The first restaurant I tried in Munich.. A really delicious Indian restaurant. They have chicken masala and butter chicken, and they have free parking in front of the restaurant and nice outdoor seating.. It's worth a try!

I ordered the palak paneer for €16 and what they sent me was, in my opinion, the boil-in-the-bag mush you can buy in the Indian supermarkets for €3 – a disgusting mush of flavourless baby food. Restaurant food should be prepared and cooked on the premises, otherwise take it off the menu if you can't be bothered.

Really nice service and great food

We were there yesterday, and the appetizers were delicious. The tandoori grill also had a good selection of meat, fish, and vegetables. The vegetarian curry paneer was also very tasty and spicy. Just what we wanted. :) We were both full and were able to take another portion with us. It's worth a bike ride there if you're craving Indian food.

I ordered for pickup. The food tasted pretty good. Only the meat (chicken) was quite dry. It tasted like many Indian restaurants. It was missing the icing on the cake. It's pretty average. I'd give it between 3-4 stars.

Never been to a restaurant before that has such big portions, honestly though i ordered for two people, the food was very tasty especially the naan bread.

There was very little going on for Saturday evening, which somewhat reduced the visitor experience. Food and prices were good. Service friendly. In the evening it's not so comfortable to sit because the street lights shine into the restaurant.

We come to the trade fair in Munich once a year as a company, stay in one of the hotels nearby and always look forward to dinner at an Indian restaurant 😍 Everything was very tasty again, the tandoori mix was great, the mutton mango was excellent, and the rest of the dishes were also very tasty! What an impudence at the trade fair: Free people handing out business cards at the trade fair stands without being asked. It doesn't work at all.

The food was excellent. Everything was super tasty and it was very quick. We had two different vegetarian dishes and a naan bread. The waiter was also very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is a bit remote, but there is easy parking. Price-wise it's totally okay too. I'd love to come back!

The food is delicious and the portions are plentiful. There is also a large selection for vegetarians (with an option for vegan). Everything we tried tasted very good. There is always a small appetizer. Our favorite Indian restaurant in Munich. The prices are more than fair, especially considering the large portions. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also quite nice. Toilets are a bit old and could be a bit cleaner, but it's still okay. There is also no skimping on rice, which I often find a shame. Big plus point! The service is nice and also packed up the leftovers for us after we couldn't make it due to the size. All in all recommended.

That it's a little bit out of town. Still, I would make the effort to come here. I also ordered food online. It's just as good as in the restaurant. To be honest, I'm just happy to have such a good restaurant nearby. 100% recommend

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff, especially the waiter, displayed behavior that came across as both arrogant and discriminatory towards Indians. Such unprofessional conduct is completely unacceptable and left me feeling unwelcome. The four of us had the starter platter for 2, with a few delicious fried vegetables and a cheese plate, so actually starters for 3, but the four of us were able to serve ourselves very well. We all ordered something different for the main courses, and they were all very tasty, especially the dishes with mango sauce. Portion size was also above average and we were bursting at the seams. Very beautiful and super tasty.
